Poor syntax and formating.

There are to sets and both are equally poorly formatted. Narrations are repeated and the summary fails to make any sense.

I really loved this book! I got into the characters of the Delaney tennis family and loved how all the little links pulled together throughout the story. I loved/hated Savannah but thought it was amazing how much insight and compassion we were given into that character. I loved the portrayal of the Delaney parents marriage and how deeply rooted they were in their love and their complicated passions. So many twists and turns that I nearly had to put the book down and breathe in wonderful frustration at not knowing what would happen! Highly recommend as a great mystery that also has deeply moving characters!!

I am a great fan of Liane Moriarty and this book had a lot of her perceptive character analysis and fun. But it was too long. And the plot was a bit woolly. And the detectives were almost add-ons. I will continue to read Liane's books, because I know she is a great writer and her worst is better than many others' best.

So much family emotion pounded from the pages. That's what kept me reading until the end.

The screeching voice of the narrator was too much. Good grief, find other narrators. Maybe the mini-series will be better. DNF.

I did really like it. Kept me guessing. Truly a deep dive into relationships and people and how we coexist. A great read highly recommend.

Solid characters, several good twists, but entirely too long. Loved the flawed characters, but slogging through the last 150 pages became painful.
