Una introducción bastante atrayente. El autor incluye varios datos curiosos y da una buena base sobre lo que es la brujería antes de pasar al tema de la luna, cómo trabajar con su energía, y las fases. Me encantó que en vez en enfocarse en las cuatro fases que todos conocemos, Herkes incluyó ocho. Desde pociones y meditaciones, hasta hechizos y rituales, las instrucciones son simples, los usos variados, y solo hubiese preferido que fuese más extenso tanto en teoría como práctica. Sin embargo, es un libro que recomendaría a cualquiera que quiera empezar a trabajar con la luna.

Quite an engaging introduction. The author includes several fun facts and gives a good background on what witchcraft is before moving on to the topic of the moon, how to work with her energy, and the phases. I loved that instead of focusing on the four phases that we all know, Herkes included eight. From potions and meditations to spells and rituals, the instructions are simple, the uses varied, and I only wish it was more extensive both in theory and practice. However, it's a book I would recommend to anyone who wants to start working with the moon.

This book has me spell-bound! Reading it is like having a cup of tea with a wise and eloquent friend who knows so much about moon magic. This book goes into many wonderful ways to use the moon in magical practices, and all of them are relevant. It's concise and informative without coming across as a textbook, which I also appreciate. I feel it's an absolutely perfect book for a beginner or for anyone who wishes to brush up on their moon magic skills. I fall into that latter category--even though I've been around the block, I always love learning more from other people. I look forward to reading his other books in the future.

This was a very easy to read and understand introduction to moon magic. This is also my first time reading about moon magic outside of the like general scope of wicca. This book is intersectional and inclusive witchcraft for maybe more "eclectic" witches as the author describes. This is great for beginners, and the moon phase charts are good for future reference. I used this to make notes in my own journal easily.

Fantastic read for those who are interested in working with the moon & even for those that have been. I've been doing Moon Mapping for a little less than 2 years and found some great stuff to add to my practice. The first half of the book introduces the reader (high level) to the moon, magic, spells, and rituals - enough for a beginner to get by. The second half is actual spells and rituals.

I think there are a few typos, but the wrong word *could* work, so it's not super obvious... I'm not sure if that makes them more or less distracting - haha.

Anyways - definitely want to read other titles by this author!
