A classic fairytale retold with a paranormal romance twist. Ellie Griswald’s life was flipped upside down when she was ten and her father married the witch-- Clarice Mayweather. Clarice and her two daughters, Eliza and Nicole, soon moved into Griswald Mansion, making Ellie’s life a living nightmare. Her father was always working, leaving her to deal with her controlling new step-family, who forced her to cook, clean, and cater to them like a servant. Every time she tried to tell her father of the abuse, her stepmother and stepsisters would lock Ellie in the attic and tell her father Ellie was away at camp. Once he left for work again, Ellie would be freed from the attic and the mistreatment would start all over. This went on for years with her father oblivious to his wife’s abuse of his daughter. As the years passed by, Ellie gave up on trying to speak up for herself, and instead found solitude in the attic, dreaming of the day she’d have her happily ever after. Fast forward fifteen years, Ellie has been away for nearly a decade and swore she’d never return to the fortress of hell. She had every intention of staying away; however, her father has fallen ill, and it’s time for her to go back to attend to him and the estate. Knowing Clarice, Eliza, and Nicole will be waiting for her arrival, nerves and fear have filled Ellie once again. But little does Ellie know, she won’t be facing them alone. This time... there’s a fairy godmother in her corner. ~*~ Koi Adair is the son of the alpha. He is next in line to lead their pack of wolf-shifters and has been training and preparing how to be a great leader his entire life. Or so he thought. The night of the Hollow Moon, the celebration of a new alpha, is upon them. Koi’s best friend, the future Beta of their pack, has reminded Koi of the most important part of becoming an alpha-- claiming a mate. Panic and rage are consuming him with the thought of having to claim a mate. No females in his pack or surrounding packs have called to his inner wolf. He knows his mate is out there, but fate hasn’t crossed their paths yet. His last hope of finding his mate is throwing a Hollow Moon party and inviting every wolf-shifter within a hundred-mile radius to include the two crazy sisters who live on the outskirts of his pack’s territory. He even included a plus one for their mysterious stepsister, who no one has ever seen. Will fate bring Koi his mate on Hollow Moon? Or will he be forced to take a mate against his choosing?

Coming from a family of military members, I learned at an early age what it meant to travel. I spent six years of my childhood in Germany and the remainder in Missouri, USA. I became a young mother at the age of sixteen and learned what determination, motivation, and inspiration could do to one's life.

I have experienced just about everything life can throw at a person, from serving in the military, seeing the effects of war, divorces, childbirth, financial struggles, being a single parent and raising a special needs child alone . Life hasn't always granted me the happiness that I desired. However, I never quit treading water. You have to fight for what you want in life.

Writing has always been an outlet for me, even at the young age of eight, which is when I started writing poetry and short stories. It has always been a dream to of mine to have my work published, and to have readers connect with my characters. I believe that is every writer's dream--to have their work truly read.

This story was a fairytale adaptation with modern and paranormal romance twists. And yes, it was Cinderella adaptation. The story was about Ellie, she was growing up under her stepmom and stepsisters abuse right under his father nose. And no, the dad didn't know. The stepmom and sisters made sure of it. Up until it's time for her to go to college. She went away and intended to not come back Then, her father got sick and she had to come back because no one would attend for her father. Back home, she met the alpha son. And BAM! Fate stroke! She was his fated mate. A human nonetheless. The story spun out of control when it came to the fairy godmother and the very reason why fate chose an alpha as her mate.

The story was a bit sad. Maybe because I didn't really like Cinderella tale in the first place; the h was too hopeless and way too dependent on H. This one was no different. Yes, she went to college and tried her best to be independent. But once she's back to her hometown, she was hopeless and let others troll her over. And the dad. Oh, the dad. I refused to believe that the dad was that clueless. I meannnn they lived together under the same roof for years. Granted maybe he went away a lot when h was a kid but didn't he get some vibe or something between his daughter and the stepmom or step sist? It was kinda unbelievable. And annoying as heck for me. Oh well. I guess Cinderella never got my good side.
