Rate this book
The human world has tenuously learned to co-exist with the underwater species known as The Blue. The powerful Elite Blue Aspen Matthews has returned to her life’s work—that of a marine biologist. Ah, Aspen Matthews! How I missed you. You were one of the beauties of my childhood. A comic book hero that was fun to be around no matter what the danger was.

Glad to see you're back with a lot of really nice artwork. I'm glad there's a brief recap of sorts for things people missed or might not remember. Not sure where this story is headed but it was enjoyable for what I saw. Can't wait to see what's next.

I’m not sure where this falls into the Fathom timeline, but it certainly takes place before volume 8. It was entertaining enough, but while this was said to be a one-shot, this is actually a setup for a larger story that will continue in another kickstarter campaign from Aspen Comics. The writing is okay, and the art is solid. It did pique my interest, and I’ll certainly support the next campaign on kickstarter for this story.
