Being taught at a young age that what was between your legs, was what would have you set for life, Perri understood the assignment. He craved Perri and never wanted to let her go. But when Perri laid eyes on his brother, Zeus, she no longer wanted to be a side chick. She wanted to be a one man’s woman. She wanted Zeus. Roman wasn’t letting go of Perri easily.Zeus and Roman shared women in their younger days, but he never thought he would want Perri as bad as he did. She was his brother’s sidechick. She was supposed to be off limits – right?Get to know Perri, Roman, Zeus, and Diah in this rollercoaster of a standalone about disloyalty, deceit, love, and more!
This was such a messy dramatic story. I was here for every bit of it. I loved me some Perri and I didn’t care that she was a side chick lol. I love how Zeus, came and saw and conquered. Perri saw her true worth and left a loser and got with a real man. Roman got exactly what he deserved.

This book was good from beginning to end. Enjoyed the storyline and these characters. Perri, was something else, but a product of her environment; her mother, Patricia. Dealing Roman, who was a cheater and liar. Then his brother Zeus, was all that and then some. This was definitely a messy drama and I loved every page of it. Even being the side chick Perri, knew she was worth more and Zeus showed her that she was. So loved the way everything turned out. Good job K. Nicole.
I really enjoyed this book the title lead me to another decade it was exactly exciting to read keep me guessing all the way I was so happy Diah moved on quickly that was amazing I loved the way Zesus was a real man that stepped up With no shame to his game for Petri I did see her as a gold digger living the lavish life she was taught by her mom Roman just let his man hood control his life but I need book 2
This book was cray! Roman was a full fledged mess! Like how you gonna be mad at Zeus or Perri and you are married? That man was nuts! I felt bad for Diah. Then Patrice or Patricia or whatever her name was… who wants to grow up with a mom like that? Zeus was such a great guy. I loved him for Perri. The situation may not have been ideal, but at least he knew what he wanted and went after it.
Baby!!! Zeus is It!!! That’s the review because Hunny!!! He was Everything!!! Roman was truly a mess and I had too many giggles off of him and his antics! My girl Perri, DO IT LIKE IT LIKE ITS YO BDAY BABBEEE!!! Again, my FAV cut up with pen and I can’t wait for the next drop!!!!
Perri was bold going from one brother to the next! It was sad that happened to her best friend Wes. I was shocked Roman got with Perri’s mother lol! He was so wrong for that. This book was a page turner I couldn’t put it down! Glad she stop being the side chick to become someone’s queen!
It was just okay, but not as per my expectations since it was an impulsive read. The ending was good; at least both the fmc and mmc got their happy ending despite their meeting via an effed-up situation and them getting together.
Side chick was a steamy pot of drama and I loved it! This book was really good, but there were a few grammatical errors and certain times when the wrong character was mentioned, but in following the story you knew who the author meant.
This was really good I wasn’t expecting all this mess lol but I’m beyond happy that Perri and Zeus could over come who her Ex was. It was a good read for sure
I must say Roman was a piece of work and deserved everything that was dished out! I’m happy Perri found someone to love her the right way! I enjoyed this! Maybe a part 2? 😉
Girl. This book had so much going on…and I was on the edge of my seat for most of it. I’ve never read a book with the other woman’s POV so I was intrigued.
Speaking of, the story is told from four POVs - Zeus, Perri, Roman, and Diah. And if I’m being completely honest, I could’ve gone without reading Diah’s point-of-view. Now don’t get me wrong. I was very much on Diah’s side with everything that was happening, but she didn’t really add anything to the plot. Everything involving her POV could’ve just been explained in another character’s chapter.
And I have to admit, I was with Roman when Zeus and Perri first got together because “Bruh. That’s your brother’s girl” BUT that was it. Roman was grimey, and I couldn’t stand him. Zeus was bae, and the author had me shook with *that* scene. (I literally shed a tear lol.) Perri…I admit she grew on me but tbh, Diah should’ve whooped Perri’s ass towards the end of the book. There was nothing stopping it at that point.
Like I get it. They moved on from the situation or whatever but Perri deserved that ass whooping because she knew Roman was married. If she didn’t know, that would be a different story. …And Roman should’ve been hit with Diah’s car or something for multiple reasons. And Zeus should’ve let Perri swing on Patrice’s ass.
Also there are quite a bit of grammatical errors and incorrect characters’ names are used in some scenes so if that normally irks you, you’ve been warned. But if you like reading books that have a main plot but has storylines that keep stacking on it that make you say “damn!”, I definitely recommend this
