This book is a fine introduction to the papacy of John Paul II. It was finished years before his death.High school students will find it quite interesting.

Wow! Powerful story of the pope and how he led our country. He started Humanae Vitae and that is something that is super interesting after starting The Rule for our marriage group.

I learned a lot by reading this book. Being a Catholic, I did not realize how little I knew about Pope John Paul II. For example, I did not realize what a role he played in turning Poland away from the Communist government. This man is about to become a saint in my Church, and now I can understand why he is being made one so quickly.
