Discovering Danielle

Danielle

One erotic story written by me equaled one year of manipulation from my stepfather. Manipulation that led to fear. Black tentacles of fear that wrapped around my heart, my soul. Until him. My Mr. Bond. He saved me once. I only had him for mere minutes back then, but those minutes, those minutes were engrained into me forever. And, now, here he is again, in a bar. He doesn’t remember me, but I remember him. Will he save me a second time?

Turns out Mr. Bond did save me that second time and now he wants to help me over my fear. So, I let him. I think I may be in over my head though. He is arrogant, intense, bossy, really the list goes on and on. But, he is also smart, sexy, thoughtful, sexy…did I say that already? Yeah, I guess I did. He is so damn sexy. I can’t keep up with him. Maybe, I’m not meant to. He wants to discover who I am. Hell, he makes me want to discover myself. He is a real-life hero, that is what he does…he saves people. I feel like I’m holding him back. Society needs him, but I need him too.

Question is am I worth it?

Can he be a hero and still be mine?

Will I survive his crazy ideas of how to help me?

Anthony

Years I stayed ahead of those nasty little things called feelings. The faster I went the easier it was. Fast cars, fast women, yeah, everything fast. Until my friends started to slow down and with it a pesky little ache settled deep inside my chest. So, I isolated myself from everyone and continued to live fast, but even that isn’t helping anymore.

And, then I met her. Danielle. A spunky little thing in a bar. She was lucky I was there that night, or she could have ended up a statistic. But, I was there, and I saved her. However, once I saved her I realized she had bigger problems. She is afraid of everything, which works out perfectly because I am afraid of nothing. At least that’s what I thought. Anyhow, she is the antidote to that ache in my chest. Oh, we are going to have so much fun discovering just who Danielle is.

Question is can I get her to see the brave girl that I see?

Will she accept my secrets, my dark?

Will she be the one to finally slow me down?

Discovering Danielle is the third book in the Hidden Series. It is a stand-alone novel however it is helpful to read Finding Anna, book one and Saving Addy book two to avoid spoilers. There is no cliff-hanger. This book is a dark romance, but I promise it does have a HEA. There is no cheating in this novel. It does contain some very dark content and could possibly have triggers for some individuals.

An epitome of true art

The true epitome of the book is art. It comes in all styles. It can truly be mastered into one beautiful piece and this book does that in so many ways. Granted you should read the two prior works of art in this series to get the full picture, but even if you don't, this book alone is amazing.

Why, oh, why did I wait so long to read this book?

Once again LM Terry weaves a tale that pulls you straight in and doesn't let you go.

Her words are magical, sometimes harsh and brutal, but always thoughtful and full of hope. The story of Danielle and Anthony is no different.

I have read this series out of sequence, because I needed to find out about one of the secondary characters, but be sure I'm going back to the start and reading books 1 and 2 straight away.

Don't miss out on this series. It's truly brilliant.

Traumatic events leave gifted artist Danielle living a reclusive life. One night she decides to risk stepping out of her safety blanket and finds herself in a vulnerable situation in a bar.

Anthony rescues her from danger but can’t get her out of his mind. He makes it his mission to help Danielle conquer her fears.

A wonderfully written story full of trauma, danger, betrayal, fear, patience and love.
I love everything that LM Terry writes, I’m always hooked from the very first page and this book did just that.

I read the first 2 books in this series over a year ago, not realizing there was a third book. Then I read the entire Rebel Skulls MC series (although I hope and feel that there may be an 8th book at some point) and realized then that I had missed this book because this book and the Rebel Skulls series connect in these two books. I'm not sure if the time gap between reading the 2nd and 3rd books has led to my "meh" rating of this one but want to mention it because it may be a subconscious bias. Overall, similar to the other Terry books so if you like her style then you'll like this book.

This might have been my favorite of the series, but still wasn’t a solid hit for me. I wasn’t a fan of the roping or Dani’s lack of confidence and trust in the relationship. Also, the reason for her to be blackmailed was just dumb. Who cares if she wrote a dirty story.

This was a case where the guy was too good for the girl and the relationship felt one sided. I liked Anthony, but felt you couldn’t tell his age from the things he did. He had an immaturity to him at times.

Wow! this was so good!

I enjoyed this book in the Hidden series. The characters are strong, loving and amazing. There are parts of this story that makes you feel sad and just about ready to cry, but then to see the love is amazing. LM Terry is a wonderful writer with a great imagination for both the evil and hope you can’t put it down until you make it through to the end. Mi would love to read the next generation story or maybe have a story for Tank. Thank you LM Terry!

Yet again, LM has me all up in my feels.
Discovering Danielle is a poignant, heartfelt tale of fear and love.
Both characters take huge steps to overcome what they think defines them, to find their HEA.
A stunning read.

Fan-fucking-tastic! I do wish I would have read it before Lizzys book but that’s okay. Now that twist I did not see that coming. You couldn’t even guess it if you tried.
