I LOVE IT! Five stars for #5, Saving Grayson, in the Special Forces: Operation Alpha (Saving Seals) series. These hunkalicious men have stolen my heart.
Juliet’s father had blackmailed her into marrying Dimitri Federov, a man she didn’t know, let alone love, so she ran. Dimitri is the son of a Russian crime boss, and there is no way they are going to let her go, but she ran to the right place…the bed of Chaos, Grayson Simpson.
“I should go,” she said…”Don’t fight it, Juliet. Chaos has adopted you now.”
She felt like a stray that had been adopted by a bunch of well meaning, albeit a little scary, men who looked like they possessed the skills to fix this for her.
Jane Blythe has included many nuggets of wisdom for life.
Grayson is the funny one of the Seal Team, loving playing pranks and telling jokes. He finds that Juliet and him have much in common. They both like the simple things in life, fish and chips, walks on the beach, time with friends…I wouldn’t mind a sexy, handsome Seal wanting to protect me from the big bad evil men…and neither does Juliet. All the Seals wives had escaped or been rescued from horrendous situations, so they were tight, opening their hearts, making her feel welcome. They would do anything for each other.
Her father is a piece of work, desperate to hold onto what he created from nothing, and will sacrifice her to keep it. He is worse than the Russians he has gone into business with, because he is her father. He is supposed to love and protect her, and he will do whatever it takes to get her back.
Jane Blythe creates in depth characters, making them leap off the pages, grabbing me and never letting me go.
We are going to crawl into the underbelly of black market diamonds and the dangerous men involved. There are no limits they won’t go to make things right, in their own way, murder, theft, kidnapping, torture, human trafficking. She will learn firsthand the meaning of blood diamonds.
Whoa…I didn’t see that coming, but knowing Jane I shouldn’t have become so complacent. Her stories keep on giving, good and bad, filled with twists and turns.
Juliet had a taste of freedom, love, and friendship. She will do anything to get it back.
Jane Blythe wraps up Saving Grayson in a way that made me feel she could not have done more…BUT…I am wondering…King is the last single man standing on the Seal Team and he is quite the player. How about it JB? He needs a woman too.
WAIT! WTF! JANE…A CLIFFHANGER? I don’t think you have ever left me hanging. OMG! NO! How can I wait? Most of the time, when a book ends in a cliffhanger, I take away a star. I left the fifth star for Jane, because, even though she is making me be on pins and needles…waiting…I know I will get the next book…
I voluntarily reviewed a free copy of Saving Grayson by Jane Blythe.
Grayson Simpson, aka Chaos, meets Juliet in a very unusual way… asleep like Goldilocks in his bed. However, that’s about the only similarity between the two girls. Juliet is the most adorable young woman, yes she has a few quirks, but in reality the old saying ‘turn lemons into lemonade’ can be applied to her main one—so a good quirk to have really. For someone who has lived in the lap of luxury she certainly isn’t spoilt or expecting anything of anyone else.
Grayson is without a doubt my new heartthrob, ahhh. He is such a honey with a huge capacity for caring about others and wanting to make them laugh. He is a true alpha, protective male yet sensitive and intuitive to others and their reactions and emotions. Together with Juliet they make a fantastic couple with amazing chemistry too.
The drama and action in this story just goes on and on, literally! Every time I thought… okay now I can relax… something incredible would happen but it all developed smoothly and made total sense. I was so angry with the ‘bad’ characters, honestly I was furious! This is how invested you get when reading this author’s stories. Likewise, when something funny happened, I chuckled out loud or when something wonderful happened, I felt immeasurable joy.
I found it so hard to put this book down once I started it, I was completely absorbed in the storyline from the very beginning until the last sentence. Now Ms Blythe—about that ending… 🤣 only joking, I can’t wait for the next book you minx you!
I enjoyed every moment of Chaos and Juliets story. I adored Juliet and hated how she was treated but when she met Chaos he was going to change everything she was use to. Loved the fast pace of this book
Oh my! This book was awesome. Juliet is running from her father and the man she was tricked into marrying. She ends up with Grayson and he vows to protect her but will it be enough ?
Saving Grayson: Special Forces: Operation Alpha: Saving SEALs Book 5 is by Jane Blythe. Not knowing who you can trust is terrifying, especially when you can’t even trust your own family. Grayson “Chaos” Simpson was caught off guard when he returned to his home and found an intruder. His intruder had cleaned up after himself and even had a load of laundry running while his intruder slept in his bed. Grayson managed to take the intruder into custody when he realized his intruder was a woman and she was naked in his bed. Now, his curiosity was in control. He did call his team and they were on their way over. Juliet Light found herself in quite a predicament. She had broken into this house to find refuge from the storm. It was the only thing she could do. She had run away from her father’s house because he was trying to force her to marry a man she despised. What she didn’t know was that her “fiancé” was a member of the Russian mafia and wanted to marry her so he could get a green card to enter the US legally. Could she trust Grayson and his SEAL team? Could they help her get out of her predicament?
Poor little rich girl Juliet York had run away from home at twenty-five. A month ago, her father introduced her to his business partner and a week later, he blackmailed her into an engagement, then beaten for not having sex with him. Juliet ran away and broke into a house to shelter from a storm. Luckily for her it was SEAL Grayson ‘Chaos’ Simpson’s house.
Seconds after arriving home, Grayson knew it had been broken into. While checking he found the burglar asleep in his bed. Seeing how attractive she is and hearing her whole story, Grayson and his team step up because they believe her and: 1) Her father’s a crooked jerk; 2) her fiancé, is a Federov, Russian mafia prince and 3) she desperately needs their help. Rating: 4.5stars
Blood diamonds, Russian mafia, kidnappings, OCD, and a cat burglar are quite an eclectic mix but certainly make Saving Grayson an intriguing romance. Juliet literally breaks in to Chaos' life. He's immediately charmed and of course goes into protective mode once he hears her story.,juliet has never had any control over her life. No wonder she has OCD. Chaos works tirelessly to give her choices and keep her safe. Unfortunately because of her father's avarice and bad choices, she's the one paying the price. It becomes a worldwide chase to save her but he'll do anything for his princess.
Be warned, this book does end in a cliffhanger for the SEAL team.
Grayson/Chaos and Juliet. Military but add in mafia and blood diamonds. The initial meeting was cute and I loved the addition of OCD, especially in the context of organizing the house. The danger and betrayal by family was scary and sad, but seeing the team and Wolfs team and Prey show up made for a fantastic adventure to several countries in the quest to save one of their own. A lot less graphic harm was done to Juliet this round, but there is still trigger warning needed for assault/rape. The ending is one heck of a cliffhanger and has all the men in danger, not just the last single team member.
Omg!! I loved this story. But the way it ended has me 😐😖 juliette needs her happy ending story. I feel robbed🤣😂🤣😂 . She has some fu parents and jail was not good enough for me for the dad. Grayson should have introduced her to his sisters n fam. I feel like that was missing. But this is a great story just like the series. I have the next one already so thank god im not having to wait to find out what happens. I highly recomend this series its a great series. Great job!!
I chose this rating because this was actually a pretty good book. I really enjoyed almost all of the characters. This was a book of compassion, kindness, manipulation, protection, and getting your life back and in order. I really enjoyed Grayson and Juliet story. I think they made a very interesting couple. I think the book was well written. The author did an amazing job in putting these two characters together. Great read! I recommended book to all romance readers.
This entire series is so good ! I love a strong alpha man and a woman strong enough to be with him. Juliet was so neat down and abused but instead of giving up she fought and survived. Jane Blythe writes a believable and emotional story every time and she fits right in with the other Authors in Operation alpha world . Can’t wait for kings story .
Read in 1 day Serious props to the author of this series. Story grabs your attention and it’s hard to set down. Spoiler alert part I love the part where her OCD comes into play and no clothes be left on floor I am like that to a point as well . Again super suspenseful and awesome book
Saving Grayson: WOW intense, exciting, suspenseful and full of surprises! Fantastic writing and dialog! Amazing characters and a hot romance. Nothing like finding a sweet surprise in his bed. Juliet needed to get out the rain so she found a house to break into. She started making herself at home. I really enjoyed Grayson and Juliet's story.
I love how this starts out and how Chaos reacts! His dream of finding the One soon is full of dangerous actions that jeopardize the families of the whole team. Just when they feel safe they are attacked again. Chaos is the right name and you really don't want to miss this one!
Loved Grayson and Juliet’s story however, I wish the story hadn’t ended the way it did especially without an indication of there being another book.. Need to know the fate of the Seal team also if King will get his HEA.
Poor Juliet really got put through the ringer on this one. One reason I love books in this genre is the instillation of family that you choose for yourself. People who will be there no matter what.
So funny how these two met and it definitely had to be Chaos's story. They go through a bit of hell and I thought at one point Chaos would lose his smile permanently, thankfully I was entirely wrong. And oh my gosh am I glad the next book is ready after that ending.
I absolutely love Grayson! This book had good humor and his typical practical jokes. Great amount of suspense and excitement as well as good steamy scenes. Now the ending..whew! Can't wait for the next one!
These books get better every time. Juliet is an amazing character and I love how happy and upbeat Chaos is. He's the perfect partner for Juliet. Loved watching these two fall in love. And the segue into the next book...🤌.
