Welcome to Emerson Grove, with our fantastic university, suburban lifestyle, and the city nearby, you’re never going to want to leave. I almost believe their slogan, until my ride drives off, leaving me on the doorstep of a pretty house to reveal a blast from the past. Leaving one lion’s den, I’ve fallen straight into another. I didn’t agree to this part. To…them. I cherished my past, and the memories I shared with these guys until I was whipped away in the dead of night, and now they hate me for it. Jagger. Jameson. Leo. Ezra. They might be trouble, but I’m still the reckless, outspoken girl I’ve always been. I was made for them, but they’ve forgotten that fact. It’s like our history never happened. Things have changed, and they’re keeping secrets. I’ll find out what’s going on, whether they like it or not. I’m Luella Carter, and Emerson U is mine.
Watch Me Fall is book in the Emerson U series, which is an MM RH romance with steamy scenes and violence. Which means it is suitable for those aged over 17.
4 stars LOVED IT. Lou Lou is such a badass, which seems to be a common theme for KC Kean’s FMC's. It felt amazing read about the little cameos from other characters like Eden and Ryan. That last chapter though...woah... I'm really intrigued about how they will continue. Hmm.... Very excited for the next book.
2.5 stars. Review for the whole trilogy. This is a second chance RH with the backdrop of college and also gang stuff. It's about Luella, who grew up with her 4 best guy friends. They were platonic for years, but things heated up between them one night at a party when she was 15. Immediately after that, her brother whisked her out of town for vague reasons and made her cut off contact with them. 3 years later, her cousin brings her to college, dropping her off at a random townhouse. She’s shocked to find that the guys live there, and for some reason, they all hate her now.
This is a good set-up for an RH. Second chance angst, forced proximity, intrigue and mystery...but this is an aggressively average series. It’s better than this authors’ other stuff, at least. This one makes more sense than her other books (but there’s still a LOT of plot holes).
The majority of this story just makes you angry and frustrated, because the heroes are keeping a TON of secrets from the heroine, for no reason. (Like, they would all be safer if they just told her!) So, the story gets repetitive because the heroine demands that they tell her something, they refuse to tell her, then she storms off and doesn’t actually do anything about it. Rinse and repeat.
It didn’t feel like the author was doing this in order to spool out information to us slowly and avoid doing an info-dump. It just felt like she had no idea how to convey information to readers or have her heroine learn it. So, she decided that the best way of sharing information and plot mysteries with us was to make all the heroes stupid as hell. That sure is a choice!
Quite simply, this author lacks the skill to tell a story where the reader (and the heroine) learn the plot mysteries and secrets in an interesting way. So instead, she hides information from us in ways that don't feel natural or organic to how real humans behave, until it’s suddenly time for us to learn the info so that the plot can move along.
If you’re in the mood for a second chance RH story with a college setting and gang stuff, this isn't the worst one that exists. (But, if you want those tropes, just read Freestyle, which is a million times better). I guess that’s the most glowing praise that I can give this story: if you’re in the mood for these tropes, this series exists, and I've read worse.
SPOILERS Honestly disappointed I allowed myself to finish this one. The heroine has no backbone and all it takes is one of the guys merely glancing her way for her to forgive the horrible things they did or said to her. She spends so much time ranting about her anger with them only for it to dissipate with one touch. Jagger's a fucking hypocrite and right after he's calling her a whore and letting his girlfriend corner her at a party, we get chapters from him calling her his girl or talking about how he can't be without her. The same goes for all of the others as they refuse to treat her with any respect or outright ignore her for days, while also not allowing her to interact with anyone that isn't them. It's disgusting. And then in the same chapter Jagger admits that he knew she hadn't tossed them aside and he lied to others to get them to hate her, he also admits he's the one who brought her back, despite being the one who has acted the worst towards her since she got back.
And the biggest thing? The big reveal for all their secrets and lies and hate or whatever that entire book was? They're hiding a 2-year-old half sister from her. That's it. The big secret that was for some reason worth all of their bullshit the entire time she was with them, and the big secret they kept from her to "keep her safe." I cannot with how ridiculous that is. I can't believe I wasted half a day reading this shit.
I really love enemies to lovers books, and I thought this was going to be a friends to lovers to enemies to lovers book that I was looking forward to reading.. But I've been left slightly disappointed.
Two things I really despise in ANY kind of book:
When authors claim the female MC is 'badass' but they roll over and show their belly in submission when one shirt gets taken off. They are also the character that every two seconds claims they are 'sassy/baddies/badass', when really a true badass fmc doesn't need to constantly state it.
Number two: when NO ONE communicates She didn't even try to touch base with her guys, in fact David, Lou's brother said they tried to contact him repeatedly to talk to her and she didn't think once to use David's phone to get in touch with them.. come on.. I think it would've made more sense If the author explain that she tried to find them, but instead all we get is a remark of how she indulged in alcohol and sex to forget them..
Then when they are back in each others lives... she skips around talking to them about what happened because she's such a 'baddie' and wants to act as though they don't mean anything to her anymore (which they already think is true and she's just solidifying that).
I'm also just going to say I wasn't a fan of how the book started. The initial prologue of the book, where Lou and her four best friends are at a house party, Lou and Leo are 15 and Ezra Jagger and Jameson are 16. One piece that instantly makes me cringe and skip over is Lou's statement 'I was about to get drunk with Leo and find me a yummy piece of man meat to finally get hot and heavy with..." like what? girl sit down.
The plot is just thin... like it's basically Lou's back and forward dialogue of, they make me feel so much to: its bad bitch Lou from now on I wont fall for them anymore.
I also only started reading this series because tiktok raved about it and the MM scenes and I've yet to read any, I want smutty tension straight off the bat!!
At this stage, I've stopped reading at 54%, I might just put this back into the to be read pile for a little bit!
"There’s always someone worse off than you, but that doesn’t make your pain any less real, any less heartbreaking. " 🖤
Secrets, secrets and more secrets!! 🙃🤫😉 ohhh this book was packed with angst, heat, asshole alpha males and oozing sexual tension 😍 oh and one badass FMC! I love Lou Lou and her guys; Jagger, Ezra, Jameson and Leo ❤ this was a great first book in what I know is going to be another epic series, I'm so addicted to this whole world 😅 it's becoming an unhealthy obsession. There is SO much to come, I feel like this was just a taster, setting us up for one big bomb 😍 I'm here for it!! As always there was 🥵🥵 moments, like seriously there was a part and I was like hot damnnnn 😅😅😅... that ending though 🤯🤯 cant say I saw that coming!! Now this should be interesting 🙃 - I feel like this review is quite cryptic, that's because so much happens and I wont dare give and spoilers here!! 🤫🤐😘
I’m marking this as read so I never have to see this again. I got 23 pages in and it was horrible. Horrible. Waste of time. One star is being generous.
Book: Watch Me Fall Author: KC Kean Recommend: Yes Spice: 🌶️ 🌶️ 🌶️ Age recommendation: 18-30+ Years
Plot: Lou Lou or Luella is a young women who grew up on the harder side of town. Her brother has always ran in a game and the boys in her Harem Jagger & Jameson (Twins), Ezra and Leo have been her best fiends growing up. She has loved them her whole life, and they have only ever loved her. On the day she lost her V card to the boys, her brother sweeps in and takes her away to a new town. Telling her that there mother is gone and they need to run to stay alive. In the new town is where she meets Eden Grady from the Toxic Creek book series. This book starts off where she left in Toxic Creek series, eden moves off to Collage with her Harem and LouLou takes Ryan up on the offer to go to Collage herself in a new town. When she arrives In the new town she is greeted by the 4 men she left behind, except they all hate her for leaving them. She doesn’t understand why they hate her so much as she didnt leave them on purpose. Her brother David tells her that he told them she wasn’t interested anymore. But they also didnt go out of there way to see and talk to her face to face to know the truth either so she is upset and mad at them as well. They fight, and argue, make each other jealous and also hook up separately along the way. LouLou starts to realise there is more going on with the 4 men then she understood and goes out of there way to find out what it is. Vince a guys from one of her classes takes an interest in her, but the boys shut it down instantly. She gets mad at them but starts to distrust Vince and her only Gf as well. She comes home one day from school to find The twins Father in the house, she calls Leo and pockets the phone so he can listen to what is being said. She goes down into the secret basement room they have and loses her shit after he leaves. The book finishes with LouLou heading to Lockwood and finding her Mother still alive and with a 2 year old girl that is her sister and also the Twins.
My feelings:
Ok ok ok. This book needs some digesting! Wow! Plot twist at the end!! I didnt see that coming at all! And the fact that now she has a sister that also the twins sister, oh dear that’s some days of our life shit right there! I love it! I wonder if its gonna change the relationship she has with the twins now…. Now that this secret is out I hope the rest dose to! I need to know it all. I wonder if the boys know that LouLou is a Carter yet to? Like a Featherstone Carter. I wonder if Ryan is gonna have to get back involved in all this. I cannot see them getting out of this sort of drama without Ryan and Marias help.
Pain is knowing love and losing it. Love is caring even when you shouldn’t. Caring is putting someone else first before yourself. Putting someone else first makes you forget to be selfish. Being selfish is never wanting to lose what you once had.
Ohhhh I have sooo many questions! Thankfully I got the series so I can jump right into the next one without having to wait!
The audio for this series is amazing as well! Good work on that one guys! They voices are great, clear and so easy to understand. The male voice is sexy and makes you love the boys individually as well.
Now lets talk about this Harem:
Jagger: oh this one here is the leader of the group for sure. The dark broody one with all the world on his shoulders, the one who makes the last call on everything. Oh and he is sexy as! This one is gonna be the worst of them all once he finally gives in and shows his heart to her!
“You either take me to this fight and tell me what the fuck is going on or I’m gone. Forever.”
Jameson: oh hello sweet sweet man! I love this one! Nothing like his brother at all! And that dirty dirty mouth of his! I love how he puts sweet little saying in on everything while also not giving her a compliment at the same time, like his heart is guarded. Cannot wait to see how he develops.
“Look what you’re doing to them Ella, baby. You’re bringing us all to our knees even when we don’t want to submit,” I murmur, and she moans in approval. She’s always loved wielding her natural control over us.
Leo: Oh sweet lord I need someone who loves to cook as much as he dose! Leave me some food in the fridge with my name on it please! Food is my love language to. He is clearly all in, and sons need anyone else to tell him different. I don’t have a harem in real life but if I did this one needs join.
”Leo: Luella Carter, food is my love language, so shut the fuck up.”
Ezra: Now as a character this one is the soft one, the broken one, then one who needs the smallest of touches all the time, and the love to be on his face. The one who when he says no everyone listens cause it takes lot for him to say it. I love that he had not touched anyone but her. I also love the MM action. I love MM in harems, and it doesn’t happen enough in books. KC Kean always writes a great Harem, one I would be totally down with! But im gonna be honest here I did struggle with him, only because my 8 year old sons name is Ezra so the spicy chapters with his name kind of Buzz killed for me. I had to try to change his name in my head while I read so I didnt ruin it for myself lol.
”Hurt comes in all different forms. There’s always someone worse off than you, but that doesn’t make your pain any less real, any less heartbreaking.”
LouLou: Now I loved this girl from the Toxic Creek series, I loved how she was the go getter, then one all in with Eden from day one. The one who threw down for her with some bitches without blinking an eye! I love a strong Girl who can pack a punch and she the men she won’t back down! Stole my heart, I do hope she shows more of her heart in the next book but. I need more love from her towards the boys. They will open up more if she dose.
“You brought me here. You had me move into this house. You are the ones with all the secrets. You are the ones attempting to fucking control the people I speak to or fuck, all while being the ones that keep pushing me away at every opportunity. If you don’t want to tell me shit, that’s fine. But I’m done being pushed around because I once fucking loved you and now you’ve decided I’m not worthy of being on the inside anymore.”
Highly recommend this series so far. Anything my KcKean is totally on my Favourites list.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
I was on a binge with the bully/rh trope, and I've already read almost all there is to it - some really good stories, so I have now high expectations of what I'm reading.
I like the premise of this story: friends-lovers-strangers-enemies-lovers again. I love drama and eat it up, though for me there needs to be a good reason for it. I didn't feel it here. Honestly, I was annoyed with the Hs 'cause they blamed the girl for everything and she has zero freaking clues about everything happening around her.
I know she was 15 when her brother tells her they have to leave, and she follows through it without much trouble (despite the fact that she is all badass, sassy, yada yada); a lot of plot holes here bothered me. First: the story is in the 21st century, so there are MANY MANY ways of communication. She left her phone behind, but couldnt she like call her own number and explain that she didnt just up and leave? That there was some shit going on that her brother didnt explain? Not even a freaking letter??? c'mon, that weak af. I didn't buy it. I mean, you love them soooo much, and you couldnt send them a message?
Next, i didn't really like the characterization of the FMC. I absolutely love badass heroines, with a backbone and self-respect, for me stories like this one only work if the h is like that. Lou-Lou (this name... gosh) she thinks she is a hard bitch, we are told a lot that she's a hard bitch - c'mon people she uses black nail polish with golden trims, that's so badass -, but i didnt feel it. It fell flat for me. She lets the man walk all over her; she should have just tell them to fuck off when they were acting like assholes, and let them go after her for a change. But noooo, they're so freaking irresistible that she sees them shirtless and she's done: a puppy for her owners.
The other part i didn't like a lot was the plot. Like i said, it felt so weak. And how could she NOT bother her brother to tell her the reason they left in the first place??? she just accepted it and that's it. What?
The Hs hiding stuff that is not even that important from her is also... meh.
Overall, i was left wanting here, and though i finished the story, and started the next book, i DFR at 13%. It's a pity cause i love the author!
I finished it and the drama is what keeps this one moving and if it didn't have a ton of drama there really wouldn't be much there. The plot is pretty thin and not real sensical; it gets even less sensical as we go. We have a MMC that hates her but really has no reason to, it was a bit of a mess plot wise and that part just got stranger. There is real problem with repetitiveness, the FMC self labels herself a bad a$$ b!tch every few pages for example(she's not really). This ends on a cliffy so I'm going to start book two just to see where the author is trying to go with this but I'm not real sure I'll end up finishing it if the content editing isn't improved.
OMG, this book SLAYED ME. I stumbled upon this over a little over a week ago, and since then I've read her entire Allstars series and couldn't wait to get to Lou Lou's story, and it was so freaking intense! KC wasn't playing with all the emotions in this one, and combined with that crazy cliffhanger, I NEED book two now!!
So here we have Lou Lou and her men: Jameson, Jagger, Leo and Ezra. Three years ago they shared a beautiful night of passion only for Lou to be ripped away from the boys she loved. Thanks to a long lost relative (Ryan!!) she comes face to face with the men she was forced to leave behind, but she's surprised when the reunion doesn't go as she expected. Instead of open arms she's treated with disdain and cruelty, all the long wondering what she did to deserve it. But seeing as how KC writes absolute QUEENS, Lou doesn't back down. Oh no, she gives as good as she gets, and makes these boys realize just what they've been missing out on these last few years. And I loved every single moment!!
She has such different relationships with each of her men: Ezra and her have a deep emotional bond, while Leo is all fun and sassy with an undercurrent of darkness to him. Jameson acts all tough on the outside but we know he's such a softie for our girl. Then there's Jagger -- he's so cruel with his tongue and cuts Lou down every chance he gets, and even though he acts like a royal D, we all know he does so to protect her. The question is will he push her away before she realizes all the danger she's in? And with so many secrets still left to be revealed, what will happen going forward, and just who will be willing to bend first?
To say that I loved this book is a complete understatement! Lou Lou is my spirit animal and I loved her sass and unwillingness to bend before the guys. I loved all their emotional moments and their intense emotional connections they shared and I cannot wait for more as the series goes on! I need book two right freaking now!!
Reason for DNF- OTT brass knuckles "boss ass bitch" heroine who is really just crude and obnoxious. Cringe sex scene at the beginning where she basically begs them for sex
I literally can not stand Lou she's so embarrassing and she's not the bad bitch she thinks she is bad bitches don't feel the need to tell us they're bad bitches EVERY 2 SECONDS!!!!! Like you're just nosy and annoying oh my god!!! Where is Luna when you need her my baby would talk some SENSE into her!! And now she's going to Lockwood not even knowing what is there like what is her issue she could be seriously hurt and she still chooses to do shit Also saying Ryan could destroy Robbie but choosing not to call him is fucking STUPID!!
Naomi...oh I have my eyes on you down...Vince...oh yeah you on my shit list Lou might annoy me but that's family don't piss me off.
Now to the boys, Ezra and Leo are my angels and can do no wrong I've decied. Like none at all. Jameson...oh Jameson...I just- he's so 💀 he's alright I guess but he a dickhead. But I do like him I guess. And last but not least Jagger...he wanna be Roman Steele saur bad like you will never be Roman or Maverick now get the fuck out my eyeline!!
Once I read the prologue I knew this book would be full of angst, misunderstandings and tension. It was exactly what I wanted and I quickly binged this book within the night.
One thing I do love about this author is her ability to write distinguishable characters. Each has their own distinct personality and individual problems and growth. While the majority of the book was told from the POV of the FMC, the male POVs gave the perfect amount of insight into the character and the events. Even if they weren’t labeled by the POV, I would have easily been able to tell who’s head I was in.
I would probably best describe this book as a best friends to lovers to enemies to lovers. This means there is a lot of history, tension, untold feelings, secrets, heartbreak and happiness. The ending left us with even more questions and mysteries and feelings to unravel.
Watch Me Fall is book 1 of the Emerson U series and it will set the stage, cover the minimum and lay the ground work for this series beginning.
What was supposed to be the best night of Lou Lou’s life, the night she finally gets to be with her boys the way she dreamed of becomes the catalyst that breaks them apart.
When reunited with Jagger, Jameson, Leo and Ezra 3 years later it’s not anything Lou Lou expects. The guys are reacting to lies. They’re hurt, angry beyond measure but still they have feelings for her and she for them. She was meant to be theirs from a young age, they all became friends and were headed to more until the night her brother came and took her away for reasons he wouldn’t tell her.
Lies, secrets, betrayal, danger, angry sex, love, hate, angst, drama, possession, jealousy, obsession. This book has these and more all in spades!
This is just the beginning and in this book it preps us for the next one in the series which will surely knock us off our feet with how Watch Me Fall ended!
*𝘀𝗾𝘂𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀* YESS. What a friggin captivating start, chapter one sets the bar high and im 𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁. This story sucks you in and devoured it in one sitting. My heart has clenched and ached beyond words throughout this journey. That friggin ending has my HEART RACING. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗹 was that... *𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘀 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗹𝗲*
-----------------
Instantly I've fallen in love with Lou-Lous sass and comments, a pure firecracker for sure. I absolutely love how we see both side of her and yet she holds her level of badassary like a queen.
Each of the guys harbour their pain and emotions and in true boy fashion its hightened, emotional and hurts like a 𝗱𝗮𝗺𝗻 𝗯*𝘁𝗰𝗵. I love that each of their characters are different and you feel their emotions and charatcers deeply.
Ezra & Leo are stealing my heart for sure. There vulnerabality and love for Lou Lou shines through and connects with your soul. The twins are grumy aceholes but damn if that isn't attractive. *𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀* There hot and cold approach is like fire & ice and leaves you begging for more and 𝘀𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴!
Absolutely can feel this is going to be one of my fav series. I LOVE the cross over of characters and seeing Ryan pop up too. In deperate need for more.. 𝗞𝗖 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗔𝗥𝗘 𝗔 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗘𝗡.
What the whatttttt? Holy crap I loved every single minute I read of this book even the jaw dropping cliffhanger! I knew something crazy was happening but I didn’t guess that!
KC Kean has become such a queen of RH romances. I love them! This series has already captivated me and is oh so sinfully delicious
Lou Lou and her men are seriously my favorite, KC just keeps topping all these characters in this crazy addicting world. I’ve been interested in Lou Lou’s stories since we first met her in the all star series and boy did she not disappoint. She’s a force to be reckoned with and I love that about her. Girl’s got a backbone and takes no crap. When she’s had it, she’s had it and let’s you know it. She’s fierce sassy loyal and bada$$
Her men oh gosh where do I start?? Leo, Ezra, Jameson, and Jagger. Four names I’ll never forget. They’re all different but work so well together. I love their quirks and learning what makes them tick. There’s of course more to learn from them and I can’t wait to find out more to the story because boy is there some explaining to do
If you love RH with steam upon steam and some amazing settings for this steam check out this deliciously addicting start to a new trilogy that will for sure be a fave because it’s mine
KC Kean has done it again!! I have loved every single one of her books so far and Watch Me Fall is another 5 star book! ⭐️
We follow Lou Lou’s story and I always loved that we got snippets of her being a bit of a bad ass in the All Stars series, and we now get to dive further into that and find out just how much more of a bad ass she is 💪🏼
Watch Me Fall is a friends to enemies to lovers reverse harem series and I LOVE the vibes from Leo, Ezra, Jameson and Jagger 😮💨🥵🔥🔥🔥
The cliffhanger got me wanting to immediately pick up the next book straight away!! 😫 I can’t wait to see what else happens!
KC’s writing just gets better and better with every book.
This is Lou Lou’s story and what a story it is! I was completely consumed by this book and even smacked myself in the face with my kindle because I fell asleep while reading it because I refused to put it down.
There is mystery and secrets around every corner in this book. Lou Lou’s frustration was palpable. This is such a fine balance to make as a writer because you don’t want your readers completely frustrated and annoyed as well. KC did a beautiful job. The depth of her writing has just grown leaps and bounds since Featherstone - which I love as well and think everyone should read.
I haven’t even touched on the elite men that are in the harems that KC writes. They’re so perfectly balanced every time and I really have a hard time picking a favorite in every book. I’m going to say my favorite is Ezra out of this bunch but man did she make that choice hard. There’s twins for god’s sakes!
I’m beyond excited to see where this story goes.
Big shout out to my bestie, Nicole, for her beta work on this gem. I’m so proud of you!
Let me just say I love KC Kean and all her books. I loved Eden and her guys. Beth and Ryan. And all her other books too.
It was awesome seeing Lou Lou’s life and reading the first part of her story. I don’t care for David. I love her boys and I hate Robbie and Vince. What’s going on with Naomi? And that ending. Ughhh can’t wait for more!!!
From the moment LouLou popped up n the Allstar series I need her story this girl right here is a MFKN force! She is absolutely in a league of her own. I would have to say though she reminds me a bit of my girl Luna she is such a baddie and doesn’t take ish form anyone.
KC has this amazing way of weaving her words and her stories to keep you on your toes the entire time. This book is filled with twists, turns, suspense, mystery and the spice is on point. Jagger, Jameson, Leo and Ezra are hot AF and completely ruthless AF but when it comes to our girl their feeling run soul Fuking deep even if not all of them want to admit it just yet!
In true KC fashion we are left with one hell of a cliffy that has me praying that our girl makes the guys freaking grovel to get back in her good graces they deserve nothing less! I wanted to punch them all in the face for her! What a way to start the new year off with a bang! I cannot wait for the next book!
Then this series is for you! Lou-Lou and her boys have a metric ton of secrets that they’re keeping from each other and it’s fun to watch them unfold. Plenty of twists, turns, and heat along the way, too.
From reading The Allstars series, we knew Lou Lou was a whole character and I was excited to see what her story was & of course KC Kean came through.
This is a reverse harem - childhood friends - friends to enemies to lovers & I am here for it.
“Pain is knowing love and losing it. Love is caring even when you shouldn’t. Caring is putting someone else first before yourself. Putting someone else first makes you forget to be selfish. Being selfish is never wanting to lose what you once had.”
The first chapter had instantly set the tone for the book and I knew it was going to be good! There are lots of secrets and, of course, poor Lou Lou is on the outside of them all. When they all come to light, where will that leave her and her guys?
I did feel like some parts were executed a bit slowly and caught myself skimming a time or two. However, when it got good, it got good 👌🏼
The cliffhanger was quite a bomb drop 💣 & I cannot wait to see what’s to come.
Great first book to the series. I loved the independent fmc and how she put the boys in their place. The secrets just kept piling up and kept my anxiety high. The ending was definitely unexpected
Where to start?! I absolutely loved Luella and her guys😍. The steam between them all is just🔥! I seriously struggled to put this book down as the twists and turns just kept me reading. What an earth is that ending?!🤯 I really didn’t see it coming. I need book 2 in my hands NOW!
Lou-Lou had 4 MMC best friends she has spent her most time with and has been secretly in love with. Everything changes in one night when her mother dies and she is dragged away from them for her own safety and have never seen them again.
When some night her brother arranges for her to study in Emerson Unuversity and by arrival she understands that all of it was planned and all the MMCs are studying there too.
It‘s my third series by KC Kean and K loved it. FMC Lou Lou is really great and strong. She loves immensely and fights for evth what she loves. The MMCs were too concerned about her and did not give her to breath. So in my opinion it was expected that she will run from them to find answers to all the secrets
The ending was a shock!!!! Can‘t wait to read the next book in the series
