Phantom World

Rate this book
Into the sick mind of a hard core horror acclaimed author we go! Here, we will be introduced to unforgiving poltergeists, cute little ghost familiars, newly born ghost-entities learning about the afterlife, a romantic couple stuck in the netherworld, and a few more paranormal experiences you won’t want to miss.

While some of these ectoplasmic beings may come across as innocent at times, their stories unfold in a manner to inform the reader as to why they were not allowed into the heaven, or allowed to have a “peaceful” afterlife.

With such harsh karma affecting their transitions, its no wonder why these phantoms have chosen to haunt rather than ascend. They simply can’t. The tales concocted here are tales of tormented souls out for revenge or they are finding ways to fight off the boredom that comes with eternal damnation.

So keep the lights on, and don’t read these tales alone. Who knows if you’ll be haunted next, or reach the end of the line?

A.R. Braun writes this book from his own personal experiences in dabbling with the occult and esoteric. As horror author of over 14 publications, this collection of ghost stories spans over 9 years of writing experience. And simply put, the ghosts in this anthology are jerks.

Phantom World. What a spine-chilling ghost ride for one to experience.
A.R Braun was awesome enough to send me a copy of his latest creepy offering, 'Phantom World', for review and made me keep a night lamp on for quite a few nights.

There is a special kind of magic every time I get my hands on a book. Especially when the book is a horror anthology that involves ghosts.

Oh man, this book is full of ghosts with the horror being delivered in eight short sharp shocks.
Eight beautifully crafted stories by a new voice in the horror genre that delivers dark themes in his own unique writing style, blending horror with the supernatural, making it memorable and chilling to the bone.

Phantom tales of loss and despair, vengeful apparitions , new ghosts on the process of learning about afterlife, lovers stuck in ghost limbo and many stories of energies refusing to abandon our realm, will keep you pinned down to your reading seat enjoying even the last comma of this hauntingly good anthology of horrors.

The stories consist of:
'The Hat Man', 'Recreant', 'Grannie's Pickle', 'Nil Caveat', 'That Chick in Stilettos', 'Une Maison Hantee', 'The Woman Wore Black', 'Beyond Death'. Even though I loved all stories, 'The Hat Man' managed to creep me out while 'Beyond Death' had me questioning of what really happens when we depart from this world. Extremely beautiful material.

What you will get is top notch horror blended masterfully in captivating stories, resulting in a blood churning, dark trip down a horror roller-coaster that you wish will never end as each story is very very satisfying.

What makes Phantom World even scarier, is the foreword that mentions many stories drawing inspiration from the author's personal experiences 😱😱😱

This Halloween read something reeeeeally scary. A.R Braun has got you covered.

An Awesome anthology by A.R. Braun. I have read some of his work in the past and this is by far one of his more entertaining collections. The anthology focuses on ghost fiction, whether it be poltergeists, new ghosts, lost ghosts, and even ghost lovers. A must-have for this upcoming Halloween Season, and all Dark Fiction lovers!

Another 5 star read from A.R. BRAUN. This is a brilliant set of 8 short stories. Loved them all but particularly liked The Hatman and Beyond Death. If you haven't read this Author before give him a go.
