My rating is a 3.5, because of all the errors!!! This story is sad, but good. The subject matter is so disturbing. The content made me sad. How can people be so cruel for no reason!! Being unloving to someone you carried in your belly and gave birth to is way beyond my thought process as to why. Bullying in school and abuse from a parent can scar you for life. On another note, who proofreads these books? I'm on the second book and just like this one, I see many errors.

This was a nice steady read... It brought a few emotions out of me... It showed how people can treat a person so bad until one day they just snap... Then as I was getting closer to the end it was building and building... and now it looks like Karmina may have just gotten herself into something she did not expect...
I feel so bad for Karmina... She is 16 years old and is dealing with so much from so many people... She is constantly being picked on at school because of her skin disorder... Then she comes home and has to deal with physically, mentally and verbally being abused by her own mother... I just do not understand how a mother can even treat their child like this... It is like she just can't catch a break... There is only one person that actually shows her that he cares and that is her 19 year old neighbor Kozy... He goes out of his way to make sure she is okay... So now she has the biggest crush on him... And she will do anything to .ake aure they end up together... Even turn on her only friend... Just when her world started coming down on her... Karma started stepping in and things started to change for her... It is like she now has this power and confidence that she never had before all of a sudden... She has finally had enough and is no longer the nice sweet innocent young girl that she once was... Karmina has left and now we have Karma... and man is she reeking havoc on everyone that did her wrong... But it looks like someone that she cares for might have accidentally got caught in her wrath of revenge...
Now to see how everything will play out in book 2...

Karma

Poor Karmina, bullied at home and at school! She had two friends Bianca and Kozy but when its revealed Bianca and Kozy are an item she feels like Bianca is the enemy! Self hatred and living in a fairytale world she went too far with her revenge! This book was good but there are many grammatical errors and missed words. Also one place in the story Charmaine's name is mentioned instead of Bianca. Overall a good story so far! Now with the situation with her mom what's next!

Book 📖: “The Coldest Karma Ever”
By: N’Dia Rae ✍️
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5 stars.

Review:

I want to start by giving this author her flowers. Especially because it’s hard writing a book in the first place. At least for me it is. I’m not totally sure if this was her first book, but I did appreciate this story!

The main character “Karmina Wilson” went through so many tough situations. I felt for her. At 15, she was forced to put her foot down and make her mark simply for the way that she was treated. How she looked was a problem for others. From young she had it rough. This young lady couldn’t catch a break to save her life. You name it she caught hell from all areas of her life. Not even school could help her escape from her reality. From home to school she was talked down to. Just down- right disrespected!

Although this book had many editing errors in the text, I decided to stick with it and finish it anyway. (I personally don’t like to start and not finish). Which is not why I gave it a 3. I loved to be grasped by a book and getting sent to another dimension. This book didn’t do that for me completely. I would’ve loved to see the names of each chapter. I guess I’m ol’ skool. That would’ve pulled me in a little more each time I read. I feel like it gives the reader a heads up on what’s about happen, or maybe even some type of storyline yu know?! But I understand that in the writing world it can be a hit or miss. Things happen. So no judgement to the writer!

Karmina wasn’t loved properly at all. Her mother, I feel, was like a stranger to her that fumed nothing but hate from beginning to end. Having a miserable life to start with is why I empathized with her. I understood the grief, the sadness, the amount of low self-esteem she had endured for so long. She didn’t go up “fast” at all. She was a good girl! Something a mother with a daughter would pray for! Right? Karmina pretty much had nothing or no one to look up too. I love the charter Kozy. He slightly rough round’ the edges but he had my vote! The amount of respect he showed her was amazing. I love a hero in a story lol. I’m a woman that’s big on respect ✊🏽 so I definitely sided with him. He had his own issues too though. Karmina definitely had some internal issues brewing to surface that I didn’t like. Some of the decisions she made came from hate, which I didn’t like either!

In the next book, I actually want to know what happens to Kozy. And especially Karmina’s next move. Because her life depends on her next move with the bed of a mess she made!

Karma!

Karma is a word that will haunt your especially when you do something wrong. People will say “karma” going to get you. Karmina has been bullied as long as she can remember, psoriasis on her skin and an abusive mother who berates her and beats here every chance she can get. Karma a has her neighborhood friend Kendrick aka Koch and her school friend Bianca. When the teachers announce there is a serial rapist in the are Karma believes no one would take her. When walking home she see the number one bully Charmaine sing taken and a light wakes up.. no one will continue to treat her like trash. Kozy sees Karmina’s beauty and speaks encouraging words to her . Kat ima is in her own world with Kozy and no one will prevent her from having what she wants.but she has forgotten ..Karma!

Wow this story was so intense great author N'dia Rae

Karmaina went thru so much in her young life being bullied and mistreat by her mother who abused her mentally and verbally all thru her young life. She was also bullied in high school by her classmates because of skin condition psoriasis. She didn't know how to stand up for herself and her self-esteem was at all time low. One of her class mate was murdered she saw her alive and didn't say anything about the van color blue she was her main tormentor she felt no remorse for her demise. She felt whoever mistreated her would get her their Karma. Cozy (aka) Kendrick was one of the few people who look out for her she secretly in love with or so she thinking. Karma was her hate for her mother was the cause of her death and the years of abuse and the contempt for her very existence.

Karmina should’ve been putting foot to a$$ a longggg time ago. All of that hurt and pent up again places her amongst the very monsters that she was she was trying to get away from. Her mama intentionally failed her. She hated her for no other reason than existing in a world where she felt robbed of opportunities.

The teachers failed her too, how you knowingly hear students bullying here day in and day out and do nothing… Kozy trying his best to uplift her but he’s damaged as well. Now that he’s be jammed up, now what?

And then there’s this woe is me aspect to Karmina that just gave Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh, like girl find your inner peace and protect it. All that damn whining almost made me put the book down.

I had no intention on reading part 2 but I’m hoping for some type of redemption so….

Coldest Karma Ever was a fast easy read and definitely intriguing. Karmina’s story was heartbreaking! The author made me want to jump in the book and defend Karma. I really enjoyed some characters and hated others.
The way Karma was treated made me hurt for her. It just made the book realistic because there are kids who are treated similar to her. My heart ached for her. I enjoyed seeing her stand up for herself in some moments, however she certainly became a villain. Or did she? Or was she regaining her power? Was she just a victim in all of this?
The author did such a great job enticing me with her writing style and I look forward to reading the second book too!

RUTHLESS

Karmina was born with a condition that made her the brute of mean jokes and constant bullying. Her mom, the one who was supposed to love and protect her, made her life a living hell by making it a point to always tell her on a daily basis how ugly she were. Kozy, a friend who nicknamed her Karma, motivated her, and boosted her self esteem to an all time high, but little did he know, he awakened a beast, and everyone that wronged Karmina will one day get exactly what they deserved.. KARMA IS A BI***

Man they say karma is a dish best served cold. Wow this book is a lost for words don't even know where to start. Sis this book is fire beyond recognition. How much can a girl take. That's crazy how one decision can start a change reaction and bad things keep happening. I'm sad the book ended and she let her mom die like that. I know but stuff kept happening but I got a feeling in part two it's only going to get worse before it gets better.

The Coldest Karma Ever

Wow this Book was an awesome read. I have to commend you on your great penmanship N’Dia Rae. This book made you feel the cruelty, and abuse, and bulling Karmia felt. Her psychic became so blurred due to being abused and being bullied. It took a lot for me to read this book because of so much pain and abuse. The book is a great read. I would recommend this book.

missed feelings

This book is ok because I’m torn at the fact that Karma has been mistreated but confused as to why she turned hateful. I don’t agree with the way Sharma story ended or Briana it was gruesome and thoughtless. However I’m glad that Karma mom friend Alice goes to her defense and Kody but sometimes people can’t be saved. Ok book not too thrilled but interested to know what happens in part 2

The Coldest Karma Ever

Karmina has had a very hard life. She was stronger than she realized because each day was an emotional challenge for her. No person should ever be made to feel they don't belong in this world. Though I don't agree with her get back, I cheered for her through the whole book. Wanting to know what will happen next, I couldn't put this book down. Looking forward to the conclusion of this story.

Karma

This is the best book I've read by Ms. Rae. The gritty details made me think she had gone through this herself. The bullying Karma was subjected to by peers and her mother made me want to take her in myself. Be careful how you treat people because everyone has a breaking point.
Great read.

Sad......

When a child goes through hell at school then have to deal with hell times a thousand at home they're bound to snap. I was team Karma all the way until she did what she did to Bianca. Bianca didn't deserve that at all, but when a quiet girl gets tired all bets are off............

Karmina couldn’t catch a break. I can’t wait to see what happens next. I’m glad she didn’t shot her mom she didn’t need her blood on her hands. Kozy was the only person that truly cared about her. I hope they end up together once she gets of age. I think once her skin is all cleared up she will have guys falling at her feet. But I’m rooting for her and Kozy to be together.

I waited months to read this book. It was a decent read. Reminded me of a “push” narrative. Some of the dialogue between Karma and her mother was a little intense on the verbal abuse in addition to the physical. I loved how she began to find her voice and although I don’t condone certain things. No one should be forced to endure what she did on a daily

Wow

This was a very emotional read for me. I was crying crying. This story... I can't even put it in to words. I don't know if I can get with what happened to Charmaine n Bianca. I mean that young lady showed her love constantly so I can't get with that one. N I don't think anyone ever deserves what Charmaine got. JUST WOW!!! I'M SPEECHLESS

I need part 2 like yesterday because clearly Karmina was tired of the bullying because she is getting revenge for real but what’s fixing to happen to her now since her mom is gone

Karma Is Real!

I can’t wait for part two of this book! This book was so intriguing and so real life. It’s sad that a skin disease will cause so much hatred for a person. You have to be careful how you treat people because you don’t know what karma is coming back for you!

Talk about a painful childhood. It make no sense how everyone treated Karma. She deserves happiness and if karma just so happens to clear her
life of negativity I’m all for it.

What happens when a person is fed up!!

Karma comes in many forms.
Karmina was bullied at both school and homes. What happens when she turns cold and stands up for herself. Some of her actions were justified but others weren’t!!

I felt sorry for Karmina...but she has turned out to be something else. I know her mother was very wrong for how she has treated Karmina. Karmina is going to get away with this incident...who knows waiting to read part 2. This is a page turner for real.

Talk about karma...

I felt so sorry for Karmina. She got bullied at school and abused at home. Kozy was her only saving grace until Bianca turned him in. Now Karmina is all alone. She got rid of Charmaine, Bianca, and her mama. I can't wait for the second part.

What did I just read? The poor girl had a skin condition and was treated like a leper by almost everyone, including her mother. The story was head-shaking and sad, and what was the point of all this insanity. I was shocked at the audacity.
