MIDNIGHT MASQUERADE

"Heat, humor, life or death adventure, and a perfectly imperfect leading man- Anya Summers puts it all together in this delightful first book in the Dungeon Singles Night series, Midnight Masquerade."- USA Today bestselling author Renee Rose

Sophia is in trouble. Again.

Maybe it’s the masks. Maybe she needs to feel something other than regret.
Whatever the reason, she is either daring… or foolish… when she trades places with another submissive, and ends up spending the night in her mysterious boss’s bed.

He doesn’t recognize her, but now she’s had him, she knows one taste of his dark love will never be enough.

Gabriel Ryan has one firm rule: don’t sleep with employees.

Even though he’s infuriated beyond measure to discover Sophia in his bed after a night of mind-blowing pleasure, she is now in his blood. He craves her. Needs her. Yearns for her surrender.

But she is forbidden. He will break her with his dark desires.

When Sophia’s dangerous past waltzes into his club, Gabriel must protect her. He must claim her. And break every single one of his rules to keep her safe.

MIDNIGHT MYSTIQUE

Dakota needs help. Badly.

The last thing she expects is for the Bad Boy of Eternal Eros to step in, sweep her off her feet, and offer his protection.

Maybe she accepts because they were matched up at the last singles night. Maybe it was the scorching passion she experienced at his skilled hands. Maybe it’s the way he dotes on her daughter.

All she knows is that the more the lines between reality and fantasy blur, the harder it will be to let him go. The more time he spends posing as her fake fiancé, the more she realizes she’s no longer faking her feelings. With every touch, every kiss, every heated glance, she realizes she wants more than one night. She wants the scarred bad boy’s heart to be hers for all time.

MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Sylvie fell for the enigmatic Dom after a single night in his arms.

And she fell hard. Never before had she craved a man with her entire heart and soul. So when Fate unexpectedly tore them apart, she didn’t want to let him go.

But life didn’t ask what she wanted.

Sylvie rocketed into Dean Ryan's world like a force of nature. Body and soul, his heart beat for her. He couldn't stop the craving in his blood to claim her, dominate her, give her everything she needed. Yet when he least expected it, she disappeared, shattering his hopes and dreams for a future with her in his arms, his life… his bed.

Dean's wretched heart has not healed, yet when Sylvie walks back through the doors of Eternal Eros, he will do anything to uncover her secrets and make her his.

She shattered his heart, but he knows her sweet surrender is the only thing that can save his soul.

MIDNIGHT MASQUERADE--MIDNIGHT MYSTIQUE--MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM.

What a great series and this is a spinoff from The Manor series, where we meet Gabriel Ryan at his BDSM club, The Eros Pit in Denver, Colorado. He hired Sophia Eaton as his event coordinator, and she has done wonders with the turnout and profits. She will have the club hosting themed singles nights once a month, where it will be by the luck of the draw for both subs and Doms to get to know each other and scene together. She is also coordinating the upcoming collaring and wedding of Prue to Cam and Max (The Manor series) at the club.

Midnight Masquerade (Dungeon Singles Night Book 1)
I WOULD SLAY DRAGONS FOR YOU, LOVE

The Ryan family has many enterprising businesses, and they also have a rule of never getting involved with employees. A costly incident from the past still haunts them. No matter how much Gabe is impressed or attracted to Sophia, she is entirely off-limits.

When the first masquerade single night at the club happens, Sophia will be dressed and disguised with a mask all evening—but the following day brings everything crashing down. Now Gabe is angry, she is shattered, and they still must work together. Not everyone believes he is fair and several are onboard to upset the cart.

"He doesn't want to be dipping his wick in the company ink." "Not to worry, Operation Gabe Down commences now!"

"Who cares if she works for you? When it's the right person, none of that stuff matters."

"You’re my submissive, which means that you submit your will to me.” “They would never have a conventional Dom and sub relationship. She had far too much fire in her not to mouth off or fight for her way and independence. But life would never be dull or boring.”

The story keeps the pages turning as Master Gabe succumbs to Sophia and decides to change his view on being with an employee—especially when she is willing to quit and walk away from Eros. Why is it that everyone around them can see the chemistry, attraction and know they are perfect for each other, but he fights it? When he gives in, he will find his ideal match, someone who can handle his darkness and soothe his savage beast.

“I want to collar you, something I’ve never done with any sub before you. You’re it for me, Sophia. Word of warning, love, you’ve fallen for a demanding Dom.”

“He was right there with her, steady and strong, her lighthouse in the storm, her true north.”

Trouble is coming, and Gabe is thinking it best not to tell Sophia backfires on him. It is a matter of life and death, and the ordeal is a test for both of them. I cried reading this one chapter and imagining the terror that each of them faced during uncertainty—needing them to be ok.

“She was alive. It was more than she’d thought she would be given, and she didn’t intend to waste it.”
“I was waiting for you. My love, my soulmate.”

Midnight Mystique (Dungeon Singles Night Book 2)
THIS WILD RIDE OF LIFE

After the attack on Sophia, Dakota Reed will be handling The Sea Single Night event at the club. She is also one of the submissives participating—and will be the last to draw a marker. Ryker Laffitte is one of the Doms also participating—better known as The Bad Boy of Eternal Eros. The story will be about Dakota and Ryker and begins with the luck of the draw!

“Bound, blindfolded, and at the bad boy Dom’s mercy.”

“It intrigued him: the dichotomy of her switch from perfect submissive to stubborn independence and defiance.”

Dakota Reed is a single mom to a two-year-old named Skye. She went to work in the office for Gabriel Ryan before her daughter was born. The position pays very well, has afforded her the ability to buy a home in a nice subdivision, send Skye to daycare, and make sound plans for her future. Skye’s sperm donor made it known early in the pregnancy he did not want a child and to leave him alone—which she honored, no child support, nothing.

Ryker Laffitte is a man who has a reputation as a bad boy, wearing his hair long, not involved in relationships, just playing at the club. He has never married, never collared a submissive, and keeps his personal life quiet. He has a motorcycle shop and rides a Harley. He’s everything a girl’s parent warns her to avoid.

“The man was every dark, dirty, naughty fantasy she had ever had rolled into one. He was the bad boy mothers warned their daughters about.”

The story keeps the pages turning as Ryker and Dakota scene together. He will instruct her to text him when she arrives home—and she doesn’t. Rather than allow it just to pass, he will show up at her home, and Skye will take to Ryker and call him Bear. A return to her house will find her so upset, learning that Skye’s father was suing her for full custody and stated she was an unfit mother. While Ryker keeps things quiet, he enlisted the services of his attorney to help Dakota and Skye. Ryker never felt he would fall for a woman, especially one with a kid; he has fallen hard for Dakota and Skye.

“It was like all the waiting he had done had been waiting for her arrival in his life. Now that Dakota was in his life, he couldn’t imagine his life without her in it.” “Warmth blasted thought him. And an organ he’d thought he would never use stuttered to life and began to beat—for her.”

“She couldn’t help but think that the bad boy of Eternal Eros had ended up being everything she needed.”

But, this story has the good, the bad, and the ugly of people. The custody case brings in other people to their lives, and whether Dakota wants to share her daughter with Brian, she must concede to the court order visitation. Then dirt will be introduced and shatter the relationship that Dakota and Ryker are building. She must walk away—because no one will endanger the relationship with Skye. Has Ryker’s youth come to haunt him—as if he hasn’t suffered enough by the hands of his parents?

“He was a curse to anyone who loved him—his parents, his grandfather, and now Dakota and Skye.”

Midsummer Night's Dream (Dungeon Singles Night Book 3)
WE’LL GET THERE—TO OUR FOREVER

The story will be a bit back and forth of The Manor series and Dungeon Singles Night series where there was an incident that had Prue, needing to talk with Gabe, brings her best friend, Sylvie Addams, with her. At that interaction at The Eros Pit, Sylvie and Dean Ryan will meet—this will be their emotional story.

Dean held out his large hand and said, “I’d like the opportunity to get to know you better. Would you be interested in coming with me lovely?”

“Yes, Sir, I would like that very much,” Sylvie replied and slid her hand into his much larger one.

Sylvie Addams is a woman with a few secrets—some she hasn’t even shared with her bestie, Prue, but this trip will open Pandora’s box to one—her enjoyment of BDSM. So it comes as a bit of a shock that Prue is involved with not one but two men in the lifestyle.

Dean Ryan is one of the ‘Ryan Brothers’ and runs Meath Distilled Whiskey and Meath Whiskey Tavern. All the Ryans have businesses that even have a way of complimenting each other—and they support each other under RMD Industries.

The story of Sylvie and Dean was an emotional roller coaster ride that kept the pages turning, and my emotions stirred. I experienced highs, lows, anger due to angst, cried sad tears, and happy tears as I read. Overall, I loved the chemistry between Dean and Sylvie but wanted to smack them both upside the head for how they acted. They fall hard; it is pretty much instantaneously, but then, one minor glitch, and they nearly let it destroy them.

“Once in a blue moon, you find a Dom worth keeping, who trips every part of your need to submit, body, mind, heart, and soul. When you do, you need to hold on to them.”

The story’s plot will have Dean and Sylvie spending the weekend together after Prue, and her two Doms work things out. Dean will convince Sylvie to extend her stay an extra day, and after the first night in the hotel—things will move to his home. They not only scene in the club in a private room but his home in his private dungeon. They are yin and yang as their likes and desires mesh. Her having to leave is hard on both of them, and they are already discussing when they can get together—where in New York or back in Denver.

“She realized in that instant that she not only could fall for him but was already halfway there. He’d seductively battered the walls she had placed around her emotions and found a way inside. Her heart whispered through the fear that one night could change everything, including her heart.”

“Sylvie felt a shift inside her. She didn’t want to feel it, but she did. He was this force of nature, who with relative ease, had upended the entirety of her life plan. And now her entire being was redirecting itself to him. She was falling for him. Unequivocally.”

The story has mystery, shock, surprises, life and death, and unanswered messages—ones that lead to hurt, anger, bitterness, and destruction. Then, just when things were in the planning stages for the near future—silence. Dean is furious with her—why is she ghosting him? Sylvie is dealing with the shocking news that has life and death consequences—and now that is what is controlling her future—it isn’t just her—it is someone else. Hidden secrets all play critical roles in this story—for a controlled Dom, Dean can be a cruel SOB because he got hurt—and yet, when the tables are turned, and he needs to take to Sylvie, she is over his bitterness. Will these two find a way back to each other, or were they two lovers passing in a night?

I loved the characters, the angst, the chemistry, mystery, suspense, danger, and passion. The story has dominance and submission, with some discipline and explicit sex scenes, in and out of Eternal Eros. While I haven’t seen plans for another story—I don’t think it will end here.

Are you prepared for this journey into The Eros Pit? Hold on tight because it will take you for a ride.

1. Midnight Masquerade
'Midnight Masquerade' is Anya Summers' first book in her new series "Dungeon Singles Night" which is a spinoff of her "Manor" series. It's not necessary to read one to enjoy the other but you'll miss all the deliciousness she gave us in the "Manor". In this storyline, we meet Gabriel, who with his brothers, owns several businesses which include the Eros Pit, a BDSM club. They instituted a rule to never date an employee. They've been there, done that, hence the rule. Sophia escaped a situation where her husband, along with someone close to her, mentally and physically abused her until she almost died. That's how she wound up being hired as the events coordinator at Eros Pit. The interactions between these two, the palpable chemistry, Gabe's dominant, protective personality that holds a dark side along with Sophia's bold personality that allows her to stand up for herself and what she believes in even though she is a submissive with her own vulnerabilities and insecurities. There's a bit of danger, twists and turns with the air of suspense, and at one point I had a knot in my throat and tears in my eyes. It's a great representation of what to expect from the remainder of the series.

2. Midnight Mystique
'Midnight Mystique' is one of the most gripping, heart-wrenching, butterfly-inducing, chemically-charged, panty-melting, BDSM romances I've read in a while. Dakota has worked as the executive assistant to Gabe, the owner of Eternal Eros, for three years. She was hired a few months before her daughter was born. If you've followed the series then you'll know that Gabe's submissive, Sophia, had gone through a harrowing situation and that this point was still healing from things. Dakota was asked to step in and handle the Dungeon Singles Night, which she did with all the Doms' assistance. Even though she was the one to organize everything, Dakota was still participating and had decided she would take the last marker after all the other submissives had chosen. Who was the last pick? Ryker, the club playboy. He's the one man who seemed to intimidate her and made her skin feel three times too small when she was around him. They'd known each other for all these years but had never had a scene together. The chemistry was off the chart and each had felt more than they ever had with anyone else. That started this adventure and it only got better from there. I can't begin to describe what an outstanding, relatable storyline this was. I couldn't put it down.

I've left the remainder of the stories for you to find out on your own. Whether you've read each of them individually and want this box set for your collection or this is the first you've started, you're not going to want to miss one delicious word. They're that good.

4.5 stars: 3 full books, hot Doms, soulmate, excitement, steam, HEAs. Recommend? You betcha!

POV: dual
HUMOR: some
F BOMBS: yes
CLIFFHANGER: No
NEW AUTHOR FOR ME: No

This is a collection of Books 1 - 3 based on the Doms at nightclub Eternal Eros/Eros Pit. All are Dom/Sub relationships.

Book 1 - Midnight Masquerade (4 stars):
POSSIBLE TRIGGERS: BDSM, spanking, lots of explicit sex scenes and graphic language, fifth base, "Jesus Christ" used as an expletive, a past assault (a bit bloody), family betrayal, murder, an unshared secret, brutal assault, kidnapping, planned rape, captive, used as a hostage, gun to the head, witnessing a nearby shooting

Sophia and Gabriel. Employee/Employer relationship. Steam, Insta-lust, push and pull of forbidden relationship, excitement, and ex-husband angst. Liked Sophia - written as a strong, brave, and intelligent woman. Didn't feel the chemistry between the two MCs and Gabriel not my cup of tea.

Book 2 - Midnight Mystique (4.5 stars):
POSSIBLE TRIGGERS: BDSM, toys, spanking, lots of explicit sex scenes and graphic language, fifth base, an unshared secret, "Jesus Christ" used as an expletive, child custody battle

Dakota and Ryker. Fake Fiancé relationship. Single mom with 2.5 yr old daughter falls for the bad boy. An honest look into how much work a single mom has to take on and to look beyond rumors / physical appearances of bad boys. Surprises, sweet moments, and gut-wrenching ones. May shed a tear or two. Really, really loved Ryker and the sweet epilogue HEA!

Book 3 - Midsummer Night's Dream (5 stars):
POSSIBLE TRIGGERS: BDSM, fisting, spanking, lots of explicit sex scenes and graphic language, an unshared secret, "Jesus Christ" used as an expletive

Sylvie and Dean. Instant Soulmates. And I thought I loved book 2 - this one had me gutted. Immediate intense attraction and a jaw-dropping surprise had me at the edge of my seat. Read it all in one setting.

While reading book 1, I felt as though I might've missed a previous book or that this might be a spinoff of another series or something because there are characters that are part of this story and interact with the MCs with an intimate familiarity. Then, I realized that one set of secondary characters were from the only other item I've read from this author which I really liked (The Manor Series trilogy) and then I was able to make a connection - I didn't realize these two series were connected - it was great getting the others' perspectives. Hopefully the author will, in the book blurb or in the ebook itself, list any books that are related to this series. I'll definitely be checking out others by this author.

Overall, this is a great collection about soul mates. Three actual full-length books with 3 very different stories, hot alpha doms, excitement, steam, emotions, HEAs, no cliffhangers and no cheating! Recommend this set? You betcha!

Plus, this series is loaded with great lines:

"And it was the fact that she needed him that sealed his fate."

"And in his tee shirt, his forearms were bare, giving her oodles of forearm porn."

"Sylvie drifted off in Dean's arms, comforted, replete, and filled with something bordering on hope for the first time in years."

I loved this boxset and I am looking forward to reading more from this series. From the first three book, everyone has something to do with the BDSM club named Eternal Eros. You have Gabe and Sophia; Rhyker and Dakota and finally Dean and Sylvie. The men are all Dom’s at the club and the women are all Subs. Each story starts out hot and steamy, then you have something happen that could jeopardize the relationships these couple are trying to form. The men can’t get these women out of their blood after one night together and crave them like they have craved no other woman.

Each couple has someone hiding a secret, drama, passion, chemistry, truths, stubbornness, feistiness, and family. I would have to say they Rhyker and Dakota;s story is my fave so far. I am looking forward to reading the rest of the series to see what kind of trouble these other Dom’s mentioned (Brody, Colin, Asher, Jase) can get into and who they get into it with! Midnight Masquerade: Anya Summers introduces a new series, Dungeon Singles Night. In this first book, we meet Sophia and Gabriel. Sophia, an event planner, moved away in order to escape the place where her husband and someone else close to her violently beat her, mentally and emotionally abused her and almost killed her. Gabriel is the owner of the Eros Pit, a BDSM club. He, along with his brothers, own many businesses and have vowed to never date anyone who works with them. Sophia is hired as the events coordinator for the club. Over the weeks and months, she finds herself not only attracted to Gabriel, but falling in love with him. During one of the special theme nights, a luck of the draw match up of Dom to Sub, Sophia decides to give in to her desire. Wearing a mask, she and Gabriel spend a night satisfying every desire. Gabriel is not happy when he realizes who he spent the night with as it breaks the family rule. Will Gabriel and Sophia go back to business only or will they give in to their desires and pursue what could be? Will Sophia's new life be destroyed by her past? Will Gabriel realize the past doesn't have to dominate the present and the future? Great secondary characters.

Midnight Mystique - Midnight Mystique is the second book in the Dungeon Singles Night series. Ryker is everything you could want in a Dom. Mysterious. Sexy. Bossy. Caring. Tenderness. Dakota and Ryker are paired during a Single Night event and their chemistry is instantaneous and off the charts. They begin a relationship, Ryker getting to know Dakota and her daughter, Skye. Ryker is the perfect book boyfriend. Dakota is a caring mom. Skye is the sweetest little girl. The three just mesh perfectly and then Dakota’s ex- boyfriend seeks to destroy everything. He serves Dakota with court documents seeking full custody of Skye, after rejecting the idea of being a father. Will the custody proceedings ruin Dakota’s relationship with Skye and Ryker? Will Ryker risk being vulnerable and letting Dakota know who he really is? Will the other Doms of Dungeon Singles Night interfere? Will Ryker and Dakota get a happily ever after?

This is a great series and Ryker quickly became my favorite character. His interactions with Skye will warm your heart. Can’t wait to read the next book in the series!

Midsummer Night's Dream is the third installation to Anya Summers' Dungeon Singles Night series. Sylvie is best friend to Prue (The Manor Series). Sylvie helps Prue leave Max and Cam in order to have a discussion with Gabriel Ryan, part owner of Club Eros. When Sylvie meets Dean it's instant attraction and love. After a whirlwind weekend of nonstop passion, the two promise to commit to making a long distance relationship work.

That promise is tested when Sylvie's past rises up to take over her present and her future. Through a series of miscommunication and avoidance of communication and complications from Sylvie's past, promises made are broken. Sylvie attempts to right the wrongs but Dean's pride, anger and hurt will not let him reach out to Sylvie. Dean was a little frustrating in that he wouldn't give Sylvie the time of day and really mistreated her at one point. Sylvie's selflessness in the face of everything showed her courage. What will it take for Dean to admit his pride is keeping him from the woman he loves? Will Sylvie forgive Dean? Will her past compromise or enhance her future?

Along the way, the incorrigible Sophie "helps" both Dean and Sylvie. There are appearances from The Manor Series and the characters we met in books 1 and 2. Book 3 ends with Brody having given up his marker for Sylvie and Reegan, Sophie's best friend, running late. Book 4 picks up where Book 3 ends. However, each book is a standalone - but builds on the prior one, if that makes any sense. (As a side note, Brody is by far my favorite Dom in this series!)

All in all this is a great series. Looking forward to reading Asher's and Emilia's story in Midnight Rendezvous!

Midnight Masquerade

Sophia works for Gabriel and he doesn’t mix work with pleasure. They both have secret fantasies about each other and there are times when doing a favor for a friend has its own rewards. These two have a mind-blowing night together. True only Sophia knew all of the details and when Gabriel finds out who his mystery woman was he’s at war with himself, because he wants very much to break his rule of not mixing work with pleasure.

These two do a fun dance with each other with their push and pull attraction. When the past is mentioned in the blurb you know the ex is going to show up at an inopportune time and cause some serious issues. That is definitely the case here.

While Sophia is a sub she does a pretty good job of standing her ground with Gabriel when she needs to.

There is a bit of rough stuff from her ex so be prepared.

Midnight Mystique

Sometimes bad boys aren’t all bad as is the case with Ryker. Sophia is a single mom and her daughter is her priority, but hey a mom can have a night of passion every once in a while. Sophia has steered clear of Ryker as he’s the love them and leave them type but fate had other ideas.

After a night of fun Ryker seems to want to stick around. Her views of him change when she sees how naturally he bonds with her daughter and he’s good at keeping mom happy too.

When her absent baby daddy suddenly decides he wants to be a part of their daughters life she knows she has to be on her toes. Ryker agrees to help and what started off as fake is now looking more and more like it could be something real.

Once this bad boy commits he fully commits and he’s willing to fight for what he wants and it’s an HEA with Sophia and her daughter.

Midsummer Night’s Dream

After the other two books this one was a giant let down, considering the explosive start to the story.

Sylvie and Dean had a very enjoyable long weekend where the sparks and the connection was swoon worthy. Then we hit non-stop angst. The book was about 90% angst and the two of them apart for most of the story.

Dean went from being a Dom to a temper tantrum throwing 4 y/o who just lost his favorite toy. Something happened with Sylvie and instead of trying to investigate to find out why the person that seemed so in sync with him would suddenly go silent he just pouted and acted like a brat.

I get for him she was “The One” and his feelings were involved and they got severely bruised his over-the-top reactions just made me think of a child.

While Sylvie felt a deep connection with Dean something from her past unexpectedly showed up and she had to deal with that. Things happened that prevented her from being able to reconnect with Dean in a timely manner.

Unfortunately, they took turns allowing their hurt feelings to get in the way of having a discussion that would have explained everything and we could have gone back to an enjoyable story instead of the angst fest we got.

I can’t rate them as a couple since they spent so much of the book apart, there was no growth for them as a couple. As individuals yes there was growth on Sylvie’s part not so much on Dean’s. So, when they finally get their HEA for me it was more of a relief that the story finally ended because I was over both of them at that point.

I received an ARC and I am leaving an honest review.

Midnight Masquerade 3 stars - I liked it

Overcoming darkness

A great story. Sophie takes the first step to change the relationship with Gabe from boss to lover, and maybe more. This step sets in motion tension and self-reflection.

Sophie has a history of pain and abuse, yet she stands strong in her conviction of what she wants and needs. It is Gabe who struggles with both giving himself permission to have Sophie, but also his skewed view of his own desires.
Add in some suspense and you have a base for a good story. I did feel that some of the plot elements gave the story a choppy feel, lurching from one event/ tension to another. Not enough to impact my enjoyment but enough for a bit of predictability to creep in.

Midnight Mystique 4 stars - I loved it

Redeeming the bad boy
Just missing out on a 5-star rating by a hair! (5 stars are awesome reads that impact me personally- don't give 5 often)

I absolutely loved this book. This is one of my favourites by Anya Summers. Ryker is the bad boy at Club Eros and at singles night gets paired with Dakota. Dakota is a single mom and one night is all she wants to give the commitment-phobe dom, but Ryker has other plans. Meeting Dakota's daughter while checking up on Dakota, Ryker is not the only one totally smitten. Of course, there is trouble on the horison as Skye's father unexpectedly sues for custody putting Dakota in a total emotional spin. Ryker steps up as her and Skye's rock. And he did a fantastic job!

I loved Ryker and Skye's interactions and the caring way he was with both Dakota and Skye. Ryker grew as a character through his interactions with Dakota and little bit. I truly felt for him when Dakota kicked his a$$ to the curb as a less-than-stellar history was unfairly brought to light. We get a very satisfactory HEA, though.

Well written with good heart amid the more heated scenes in the book.

A Midsummer Night’s dream 4 Stars

A little bit different but totally worth it

I loved the use of A Midsummer Night's Dream quotes in front of each Part (Playing on the acts in a play?) of the book. The story of Dean and Sylvie was also structured a bit differently with tragedy striking later in the book, keeping the reader guessing if an HEA was possible. This being said, I did get frustrated that although the love between the two was clear, the stubbornness and refusal to listen to the other had such an impact on their relationship. In this, both were wrong, and I am not sure that I believe in the redemption of these characters in this case.

As the tragedy struck later in the book, the reader does get treated to great scenes between the 2 early on. (Perhaps another after they got back together would have also pulled the story together better).

Do note the disclaimer that this is a BDSM book as I don't think all the scenes will be palatable for everyone. I do love that we got something different in this book that I have not read about often.

Midnight Masquerade 4 stars

Although I liked Gabe and Sophia, I was really glad when he stopped being an Alpha hole. I did appreciate Sophia's business sense and enjoyed reading her new ideas to expand the businesses.

I cannot say the information Gabe and Sophia withheld from one another was even comparable. Gabe's info was significantly more dangerous and devastating.

There were a number of steamy scenes. There were also many scenes that showed the sense of family, support, loyalty, love and friendship not only among brothers, but Club members as well. Add in some danger and suspense, and this book turned out to be a page turner.

Midnight Mystique Anya Summers 5 stars

Ryker and Dakota's story has all the feels. They had known one another for years, but never really made a connection until Singles Night. Their chemistry and connection was explosive. I liked both characters.

Then Ryker did some things that took his likability, hotness, and desirability to a whole different level. The way he loved, took care of, and interacted with Dakota's daughter Skye was first. Next was the way he cared for and supported Dakota's emotional and physical needs, even bring her Dom, it was overwhelmingly sweet. Last, it was the way he stood staunchly by Dakota's side and was there for her through the ordeal with her ex.

For me, it was Skye that was the star of this story. With Dakota being a single more, and her first and foremost thought was to protect her baby, that was where much of the emotion occurred. That being said, I could absolutely understand her reaction to Ryker, even if it was not the best way to handle the situation.

I also liked that there were a few surprises in this book that were completely satisfying. Heartfelt, romantic, sweet, and steamy with epilogue and an HEA.

Midsummer's Night Dream 2.5 stars

Dean and Sylvie's story was the worst. I am not at all telling a reader they shouldn't go for it. I just found this story to be offensive. It had nothing to do with the physical part of the relationship. This was behavior, or a character flaw, or something I found to be personally irksome.

Part I was fine. I actually thought for a minute the focus was going to shift to Cam. At Part II, it was downhill from there.
It had everything to do with their behavior and lack of communication. I was so frustrated by the stupidity, the stubborn behavior, on both of their parts, it almost became a DNF for me.

I understand Sylvie's hesitation about telling Dean, but she couldn't tell her best friend? Dean was so fragile hairy his hurt feelings he couldn't have reached out to ANYONE to try and find out what waz going on?

By the time it all worked out, I didn't care.

MIDNIGHT MASQUETADE Book 1
An engaging story I couldn't put down.
Sophie is in love with Gabe from they met, she knows he was attracted to her but he never act on it, she decided to ignore a rule and create her own way to get the man of her dreams. Gabe resist at first but had to admit he needed the push.
Eventually they both decide to make a go of being together as a couple and things are going well.
Gabe finds out Sophie is in danger from her ex- husband. He trys to protect her without telling her the real reason, fearing it would be too upset for her.
I do believe knowledge is power. If Sophie knew the truth, she would not have gone out on her own. What was Gabriel  thinking? Luckily, Sophie's reaction to his withholding the information was positive.
The story is well-written, steamy and thoroughly entertaining.

MIDNIGHT MYSTIQUE (Book 2)
A very passionate and emotional  tale of two unlikely matched couple that turned out to be the perfect trio.

Having Ryker step in to be her fake fiance, is exactly what she needed for her and her daughter, but her whole world came crashing down when a dmming secret from Ryker's pass was reviled. Cutting him from her life was the only thing she thought would fix her problem. Was she right? And what did Ryker do?

I absolutely love what happened next. Dakota's ex definitely learnt what was ment by, ( if you live in a glass house, don't through stone). A great ending to a beautifully written story.

MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM  ( Book 3)
Sylvie and Dean started out with sizzling chemistry and a promising chance at a passionate relationship but life events gave them a rocky journey,  as Sylvie seem to have disappeared without no communication.

I don't understand why Max or Prue didn't contact him after they found out what happened to Sylvie, as Dean went again the odds and was there for them when they needed him.

Dean hadn't heard from Max or Prue, but he brought unnessary pain on himself for not reading the emails Sylvie eventually sent. He is Dom who is suppose to be in charge and deal with situations. The fact that he was so sure Sylvie was the one for him, why wasn't he more persistent in trying to convince her she belong to him. He gave up too quickly. He obviously didn't follow his dad's lead in how he met and woo his mother.

After many months of  stubbornness with many opportunities to make things right, Dean was shocked into reality and he had to pull his head out of his ass and finally take action. Good for Sylvie for making him having to grovel a bit. He he still got too easy for all the hurt he caused her.

Yet another totally engaging story that is guaranteed to keep up way after your bedtime.

Anya Summers has written a 5-star 3-book collection. This is the collection of 3 couples, Sophia and Gabriel (Gabe), Dakota and Ryker, and Sylvie and Dean. These stories are about what the couples have to overcome in order to be together. In the first book, Sophia and Gabe work together and she is in love with him but he has a rule about not getting involved with his employees. They get together a few times and after each one, he acts like it is a mistake. After the last time she has had enough and tells him that after the wedding at BDSM club that Gabe owns, she quits.
In book two, it is about Dakota and Ryker. On the night of the club's singles night, Dakota picks Ryker's name for her Dom for the night, He wants to have more with her but her daughter Skye is the most important to her. Things happen that cause Ryker to pretend to be her fiance. As they spend more time together, their feelings grow for one another. Dakota's ex-boyfriend Brian comes back into the picture by taking her to court for custody of their daughter. Brian had never been in Skye's life and to now want custody of her is something she doesn't understand. Ryker finds to what is going on and he helps her out. Something is found out about Ryker's past and it causes Dakota to break things off with Ryker. Ryker tells her that what he is accused of doing, he didn't do. Ryker gets help in making sure that Dakota doesn't lose Syke to Brian.
In book three, it is about Sylvie and Dean. Sylvie and Dean meet when she takes her best friend Prue to see Gabe at the club. Sylvie and Dean seem to hit it off and they hook up at the club. He talks her into staying with him over the weekend when Prue goes back home. They have made plans to see each other over her next school break but something happens that is unexpected. She had a child when she was 15 and gave it up for adoption. Now her daughter is sick and needs her help. Sylvie doesn't think twice before saying she would help. She keeps this from Dean and from this things go downhill for them. Sylvie ends up having surgery to save her daughter's life. Then the unexpected happens and she gets a serious infection and almost dies from it. She was in a coma and every time Dean tried to contact her she didn't answer. He thinks she had ghosted him and now he has given up on them. One time when she comes to, she writes him an email and explains things to him. When he doesn't answer, she knows he has moved on from her.
Will things work out in the end for these three couples?
This was a wonderful collection and I would recommend it to anyone.

Midnight Masquerade

Gabriel Ryan has learned the hard way to not mix business with pleasure. Sophia Eaton is the event coordinator for the club.
When Sophia switches places with another submissive during a Masquerade Single's Night event she is paired with Gabriel. The encounter was more than either expected. However, Gabe was furious when he realizes his mystery woman is an employee. Gabe and Sophia both crave another taste, but Gabe fights the attraction and makes the work environment uncomfortable. When Sophia thinks to use Ryker to make Gabe jealous, it does not work as planned. Left with no choice, Sophia decides to quit. When Gabe finally gives in it may be to late. Sophia's abusive ex has escaped prison and out for revenge against Sophia. Thinking he is protecting Sophia he does not inform her about the danger. When Sophia is kidnapped by her ex, Gabe uses every resource to save her. Overall, this was a very fast and emotional read.

Midnight Mystique

Dakota is the executive assistant to Gabriel Ryan. She has been filling for Sophia as she recovers from the attack. As a single mother, she does not have time for dating. Ryker is the resident bad boy, not looking for commitment. When Dakota and Ryker are paired together for a Single Night event both got more than they bargain for. While Dakota is not looking for more Ryker finds himself wanting exclusivity and putting a collar on her. Dakota is reluctant to committ as she has a kid who comes first. Surprisingly, Ryker and Skye hot it off and Ryker is all in. When Skye's absent father reenters the picture trying to take Skye, Ryker must fight harder to prove he wants the package deal. But there are screams in his past that threatened Dakota getting custody of her child. Overall, this was a heartfelt and engaging read.

Midsummer Night's Dream

When Sylvie drives to the rescue of her friend Prudence, she never imagined meeting the man of her dreams. Dean was not looking to settle down but when he sees Sylvie things just click in place. Sean and Sylvie spend several days enthralled with each other but Sylvie must return to NY on Monday. When Sylvie returns home her life is changed for ever. When Sylvie does not return Dean's calls he goes to NY to find out why. When he is unable to find her he cuts ties and returns home. Sylvie tries numerous times to make Dean understand what really happened but Dean refuses to listen. My heart ached for how Sylvie was mistreated by Dean and felt he got off too easily. Overall, this was an emotional and enjoyable read.

This is such a great series and while you can read each as a standalone it is great to be able to read three at a time and know what happened previously.

Midnight Masquerade
I absolutely loved this book. At first I thought I knew what was going to happen but Ms. Summers did not disappoint it was so much more. Sophia was a smart, intelligent and super strong woman who is brilliant at her job. Gabe is certainly smart business wise but not when it comes to his love life. Fortunately, he is the only one that thinks it is a problem and Ryker is only too happy to show him the error of his beliefs. The sex is out of this world and you may need a fan to keep you cool enough to keep reading because once you start you will not be able to put this book down. There is a not so pleasant aspect in the form of Sophia’s evil ex husband but there is a good outcome. All through the story, Ms. Summers has woven hints about future books with the characters in this story. It is well done even if I want to find out now. A very enjoyable read that I could not stop reading until I finished.

Midnight Mystique
This was such a lovely story. I liked Ryker in Gabe and Sophia’s story, Midnight Masquerade and he proved his worth six times over in Midnight Mystique. Skylar will just steal your heart and the way she interacts with Ryker will make you melt. Her biological father is a snake and we spend most of the book wondering at his motive and when Asher discloses it what a doozy. Poor Ryker is undeservedly raked over the coals by everyone and yet, once again, he comes through for Dakota and little bit. There are some really hot scenes that will have you needing a cold shower but Ryker and Dakota are made for each other. The ending had me in tears it was so beautiful.

Midnight Summers Night Dream
I loved this story, the beginning was so sweet and then I spent a long time with tears in my eyes because it was so sad and then because it was so lovely. It was an interesting perspective on Gabe and Sophia’s story and that of Max, Cam and Prue. Unless you have read the Manor series you will never know why Prue was going to see Gabe or what happened to Cam it is a great series and well worth reading. Sylvie and Dean had a rocky road but it is not what you expect when you start the book and as is so often the case it is all about communication. The dynamic between Dean and Sylvie is amazing and so hot and they deserved their happy ending.

In Midnight Masquerade, Sophia Eaton moves to Denver to start her life over, and gets hired as Eros Clubs' Event Coordinator. Her first day on the job, her new boss, Gabe Ryan, cooks her breakfast, and she falls in love with him. Sparks fly between them, but until she finally makes the first move, infuriating him in the process, as he has a no fraternization policy. As their love affair comes into the open, her old life collides with the present. Will Gabe make it in time? Will they be over just as it is getting started? It will take everything he's got to save her.
The story really is fantastic. Gabe was introduced in The Manor Series, but really comes to life here. This is a six star book in a five star world.
In Midnight Mystique, Dakota and Ryker are matched up when she draws his name on singles night at The Eros Pit. At first, she is worried. He's the bad boy of the club, but she goes through with it. They end up spending the night together, and both of them feel electricity like they have never felt before. Days later, she is embroiled in a custody battle for her 2 1/2 year old daughter, and Ryker steps up to the plate to be her fake fiance. Before long, her feelings are becoming real. As he becomes more and more involved in her and her daughter's life, it will be hard to let him go.
This is an incredible novel. Riker is not what anyone thought he was, and he falls so deeply in love with Dakota and her daughter. All three characters are so well written, and so relatable.
Last up is Midsummer Night's Dream. We have been catching glimpses of Dean and Sylvie's relationship through the rest of the Dungeon Singles Night stories, but they really deserved their own book. Here it is, and it was worth the wait! Dean and Sylvie have a passionate weekend, and then a series of unfortunate events derails their relationship. Both are hurt and angry, but when they finally get their HEA, it is the best.
This is one of my favorite series, one I have already re-read. The books are all really good, and while each can stand alone, they are so much better as a series, and now that they are conveniently in one place, there is no excuse! The series is a five star read, well worth the one click.

Midnight Masquerade
There are things I loved about this story and a couple of things that irritated me. I adored Sophia’s feistiness and her backbone of steel. She was fully prepared to tell Gabe he was being a jerk when he was. I loved the chemistry and connection between these characters. I’m not surprised everyone around them could tell what they were feeling. Gabe left me scratching my head. He plays the double-standard card a couple of times, which Sophia rightly calls him on. I thought at least one of their punishment scenes was unwarranted, as it was for things that I’d believed they had gotten over. And I wasn’t a fan of him keeping vital information from her in the name of protecting her since it actually put her in more danger. But otherwise, I thought he was perfectly suited as Sophia’s partner. Their needs and desires dovetailed together, and their two iron wills pushed them both to be better. I am charmed by the supporting cast and I can’t wait to read more about them.
Midnight Mystique
This story just worked for me. There are some aspects of the legalities within the book that I found highly questionable based on my understanding of the system, but the relationship and connections between Ryker, Dakota, and Skye are rock solid. I loved seeing the way Dakota’s friends, family, and co-workers immediately pitched in to help with the situation. And I giggled in delight for way longer than was healthy when I discovered the cross-over with the Silver Springs Ranch series. The more we get to know about the Ryan men and the people closest to them, the more I want to know.
Midsummer Night's Dream
Oof! This story is an emotional roller-coaster of epic proportions. We jump back in time a little to discover what happened between Dean and Sylvie; why he was so hung up on her and so hurt by her actions. I waffled with this one. They both handled everything poorly, letting fear and pride get in their way, preventing them from hearing the other’s truth. What I really appreciated was that when it came time for apologies, it wasn’t just one or the other, they both took ownership of the parts they played. I am rapidly falling in love with the whole cast of characters in this series and I want to see every last one of them get their own story.

*Midnight Masquerade - I loved Sophia who is an intelligent and sassy woman who knows what she wants and when she interviewed with Gabe, she knew she wanted him. The feeling was mutual but he has a rule not to date employees. Events happen that he was not prepared for and finally he admits his feelings for Sophia. Danger from Sophia’s past finally catches up with her which stresses Gabe to the max. I loved this story because it has two very strong H/h characters who know what they want but Gabe holds back. It was fun to read how Sophia broke down his barriers to find the love they have both always wanted. It is well written and entertaining.
*Midnight Mystique - This is a great addition to the Dungeon Singles Night series and it focuses on Dakota and Ryker relationship. What starts out with Ryker being drawn by Dakota as her Dom for the night turns into much more. The impact Dakota has on him is startling and he wants more. There is another major player in this story and that is Skye, Dakota’s young daughter. The interaction between Ryker and Skye is so well written and entertaining that it adds a lot of humor to the story. Skye’s father starts causing trouble and stress for Dakota. This is an excellent story that is so well written that you can easily picture what is happening in your mind. I loved the story and the strong characters that are featured in this book. This is definitely a story worth reading.
*Midsummer Night’s Dream - This is a great addition to the Dungeon Singles Night. As soon as Sylvie and Dean laid eyes on each other, they each knew there was a special connection which only became stronger after their first scene together. After spending several days together, Sylvie has to return home and there she gets the surprise of her life. She makes a life changing decision that causes her to be on death’s door. Misunderstanding on Deans part causes a major separation but eventually everything becomes clear and he has to work to win her back. This is a great love story that grabs your attention at the very beginning and holds it until the end. It is well written, easy to read and full of emotions. I loved it along with the others in this series and can’t wait to read the next one.

Midnight Masquerade
Sophia is hired to be the event coordinator at the clubs. She impresses Gabe on her first day when she explains some ideas she has. Sparks fly between them any time they are together. Sophia is wary of men except for Gabe and its because of what her ex had done to her. During a theme party Sophia takes a chance to be with Gabe. However, the morning after when he sees her face things change between them. Will Gabe see that Sophia is the one for him? Can she move on from her past?

Midnight Mystique
Dakota is a single mom that works as Gabe's assistant. She has been filling in for Sophia while she is recovering. The next event she plans to attend and is somewhat excited about it. As she stands in line to put the Dom, she will be with for the night she is getting nervous as Ryker and Rafeal are the only ones left. She picks Ryker and from that night on nothing is the same for them. Ryker is drawn to Dakota even more after one night and when she doesn't let him know she made it home alright with her daughter he goes to her home to check up on her. The door burst open, and her daughter greets him. Now he has lost his heart to both of the females. When Dakota tells him about her ex wanting custody of her daughter Ryker steps in and claims them as his own. Can they beat her ex? Will Dakota see that Ryker wants them for keeps?

Midsummer Night's Dream
Sylvie is Prue's best friend and goes to get her when she thinks her friend needs her. When they arrive in Colorado, they go to the club to talk to Gabe. While there Sylvie sees Dean and they have an instant connection. He wants her and when her friend doesn't need her, Dean asks her to do a scene with him. They start spending time together while she is in town. However, when its time for her to leave they promise to give long distance a chance. When she arrives home its to learn that something from her past is going to change things for her. Will she get a chance to explain to Dean? Will they get a chance to be together?

This is an amazing collection that will draw you into each story. This is a well written and very entertaining story. This is a collection that any book lover would enjoy.

Midnight Masquerade

This one started out pretty interesting to me. Sophia just got a new job at the Eros Clubs- BDSM lifestyle clubs- and was pitching an idea to her boss, whom she is attracted to. When she participates in a dungeon singles night, she manipulates what should have been a random Dom with her boss instead and waits for him in a room while wearing a mask and wig. When Gabe discovered it was her in the morning he was furious. His number one rule was never sleep with employees.

Honestly, I couldn't finish this book. The heroine manipulated something to insure she spent a night with her boss and then purposefully hid her identity, thus robbing him of the chance to decide for himself if it was a boundary he wanted to cross. When he tried to have her sign an affidavit so he couldn't be sued over it in the future she refused. His fury was obvious, and the fact that he refused her pissed her off. So what does she do? Take advantage of him to pleasure him while he's asleep. This book made me so uncomfortable. Non-consensual sex is rape. This guy gave her a good job when she needed it and she returned that favor by manipulating and taking advantage of him, and leaving him no means of even protecting himself legally. If the roles were reversed and the woman was the one being taken advantage of, he would be a seen as a monster. But because she's female she's the heroine of a romance and will undoubtedly get a HEA with him? Just.. no! 1 star.

Midnight Mystique

This story I enjoyed and was the one I was most interested in in this set before reading any. I liked the characters and seeing them bond. Ryker and Dakota had great chemistry. There were some ups and downs, and some threat from the heroine's ex. But overall it was a very good read. 5 stars.

Midsummer Night's Dream

A lot of emotion in this book. But unfortunately, it's also one of those stories with miscommunication, misunderstandings, drama, and angst with the back and forth. Not a bad read, although at times I skipped forward a little when I grow impatient with melodrama. 4 stars.

Overall 4 stars.

This is a great collection of spicy BDSM stories with some characters we've met before if you've read The Manor Series. The 1st story Midnight Masquerade gives us Gabe and Sophia's story and what an emotional story it is. Gabe hires Sophia as the event coordinator for his BDSM club where he has a strict policy about never becoming involved with an employee. Sophia who fled an abusive situation that almost got her killed has developed feelings for Gabe besides the attraction she feels for him. When the first masquerade singles night begins Sophia decides to take her shot since everyone is wearing a mask so she gets to spend the evening with Gabe but what happens the next day when he finds out who she is and is angry? Can they move forward from here? Everyone else can see that they belong together will Gabe see it before it's too late? You really need to read this book to see what happens.
The 2nd book is Midnight Mystique and in it we get Ryker and Dakota's story. They get paired up during a singles event and have instant chemistry. They begin spending time togther where he gets to meet her daughter Skye who has an instant bond with him. Just when you're feeling so happy for them Dakota's ex sues for full custody of Skye when he didn't want anything to do with her in the 1st place. What will this do to the budding relationship that Dakota and Skye were building with Ryder? You really need to read this story to see what happens.
Midsummer Night's Dream is the 3rd book and we get Sylvie and Dean's story which is very emotional. Sylvie is Prue's best friend and when helping her she meets Dean who she falls in love at first sight with they also share a sizzling attraction. They spend a weekend of unbridled passion and make plans for a long distance relationship. Pretty soon their promise is put to the test when they have their first misunderstanding. Dean is furious and Sylvie is in a state of shock. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this book to see what happens. I would definitely recommend this collection.

A wonderful compilation of three books in this series, great characters and stories

Midnight Masquerade - Book 1

Gabriel had employed Sophie to work as his event coordinator working in his club and he had always been strict and ensured that he did not fraternise with any member of staff. However, on this one occasion he had actually failed his own rules and now he was more than a little attracted to Sophie and it seemed that she was also interested in taking their relationship further.

Midnight Mystique – Book 2

Dakota and Ryker have been paired together for one night, this is something quite different for Dakota and as a single mom she is ultra-aware of needing to be careful with her daughter Skye. When out of the blue she is suddenly hit with custody papers for Skye and knows that she needs help.

Imagine her surprise when the person that comes to her aid id non other than Ryker and he is determined that this blast from her past is not going to get one bit of all she holds dearer than breathing.

Midsummer's Night Dream - Book 3

Sylvie and Dean have a chemistry like no other after just a short weekend together it is as though they have known each other for years and yet as happy as they have been it seems it may all be taken away.

Sylvie disappears leaving Dean confused and hurt, he knows that something has happened and yet she is reluctant to explain and he does not cope well with secrets, however as things start to become clearer and the need to keep her safe and in his life overrides anything else.

He knows that he cannot imagine life without her in it and she also love him, there has never been any doubt on her part.

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

A great collection of the men of Eternal Eros Singles Night at the club. I love all three stories and the introduction to BDSM and the club members.
Midnight Masquare is about Gabriel Ryan who runs the Eternal Eros. He has a strict policy of no dating his employees. His assistant Sophie takes things into her own hands and man do the fireworks start. I love the interaction between them it pretty explosive when the truth comes out after their passionate night at the themed Dungeon Singles Night mask party in Eros dungeon.

Midnight Mystique is another Dungeon Singles Night party. Dakota decides to attend one of the themed parties and take her chances when she draws out Dom who is both thrilling, but he intimates her. Ryker is one of the bad boys of Eros. He welcomes the night’s matchup with Dakota and finds he can’t let her go after one night. I love Ryker he really comes to the rescue when her daughter’s father tries to jump into the picture. Dakota is a strong independent woman and when her daughter is threatened Ryker wants to help. This is an emotional story Ryker comes to love both Dakota and her daughter, but can he be the man she needs, or will he destroy her chances of getting custody of her daughter?

Midsummer Night’s Dream is Sylvia spent one night with Dom Dean, a night that changed both their lives in Eternal Eros dungeon. The fate tears her away from him. Dean has never forgotten her so when she shows up at the club, he knows what he has to do. He needs to uncover her secret, why she left? He sets out to make her realize he is his, his to love, his to dominate and his to give her everything she needs. I love how possessive the men of Eros are, especially when the find the one who completes their lives, they will stop at nothing to claim them! If you have not read any of the Dungeon Singles Night books, this is your chance to get the first three books in one great collection. If you have read one, I'd still get it because it will let you binge-read in order and is a great addition to any keeper shelf! If you like stories with a BDSM theme, super high heat factor, great characters and some seriously challenging life situations, that is ...
Book One tells the story of Gabe Ryan and his event coordinator Sophia, who started the Dungeon Singles Nights. Her past cames back to haunt her and it is only with the help of Gabe, his brothers and their friends that she can survive.
Book Two features Dakota, assistand to the Ryan brothers and Ryker - a much misunderstood Dom whose soft side was introduced at the end of Sophia's story. When custody of Dakota's daughter is threatend, he steps in as fake fiance and has not just the little girl swooning. Spoiler alert: The 'little bit' will have you smiling and your heart melting as she has her 'Bear' wrapped around her little fingers.
Book Three is in 3 parts - some of it happening before the events of Book 1 and 2, some of it at the same time, some a bit later. The story of Dean Ryan and Sylvie was somehow the hardest for me to process and like. On top of the serious issues there were a lot of misunderstandings which had me out of patience with Ryan quite a bit. In the end, he comes through though and they get their well-deserved HEA.

I've deliberately not gone into much detail because I think those books deserve to be read without too much prior knowledge. What you can expect are books that will engage your feelings, get you hot and bothered, keep you turning the pages, have you sigh at the happy endings and look forward to the next one!

'Dungeon Singles Night Collection' by Anya Summers is a collection of three stories all set within the nightclub Eternal Eros which has a private BDSM club Eros Pit and featuring Dom/Sub relationships.

Book #1: 'Midnight Masquerade' is about Sophia and Gabriel. Sophia moved to Denver to put distance between her past life. She got a job handling special events for Eternal Eros club reporting directly to Gabe. Too bad he has strict rules about dating employees.

Book #2: 'Midnight Mystique' is about Dakota and Ryker.
Dakota was a single mom with a 2 and half year old daughter, Skye, and Ryker, who rides a Harley and owns a motorcycle shop. Dakota works at the club and does scenes occasionally. Ryker is Dom and considered the club bad boy because of his looks and demeanour. However, Skye calls him Bear. Ryker doesn't know who he fell for first.

Book #3: 'Midsummer Night's Dream' is about Sylvie and Dean. Sylvie was a music teacher and lived in New York, and Dean, is Gabe's brother and runs Meath Distilled Whiskey and Meath Whiskey Tavern. They meet when Sylvie's best friend, Prue calls her for help and she is on the next plane to Denver. Dean and Sylvie hit it off right away and spend some very passionate nights together. But when she gets back home Sylvie ghosts Dean.

Ms. Summers has written an engaging and dynamic series with fabulous characters and intriguing plots. These books offer something for everyone with alpha males, feisty heroines, all set within a sexy nightclub. The stories are diverse tropes from big alphaboss, second chances, instalove, and so much more. The stories are emotional, with some angst, laughs, secrets, family issues, passion, and plenty of steam. I enjoyed these books and recommend them to anyone who likes some kink with their romance.

This is a collection of the first three books in the series.

Midnight Masquerade 5*
Sophia has been hired as an event planner at the Eros clubs. There is Eternal Eros, which is for people who want to dabble in the lifestyle. There is also the Eros Pit, which is for people who live and breathe the BDSM lifestyle daily. She comes up with the idea of themed dungeon nights and they are a hit. But as she works with her boss, Gabe, she falls in love with him. She decides to try to get past his 'no dating employees' rule by setting herself as his submissive during a masquerade night. Gabe is not amused. But, Sophia is stubborn and works on him until he finally gives in. It is fascinating to read about how , even though submissive, Sophia stands her ground for what she wants. Once they are together, Sophia tells him about her previous marriage and how everything had gone wrong. But when Gabe finds out that her ex has escaped from prison, he does everything he can to keep her safe, except tell Sophia that she is in danger! Men!

Midnight Mystique 5*
This is Dakota and Ryker's story. They play together at a Dungeon Singles event. Dakota thinks that this is a one night event, but Ryker finds that he wants to keep her. With the addition of Dakota's daughter Skye, this story is definitely a keeper.

Midsummer Night's Dream 4*
Sylvie and Dean meet when her best friend Prue needs to talk with Gabe. She comes with and then goes to play with Dean while Prue is talking. They fall hard for each other, and then almost screw everything up because of their pride. They do work things out, but Dean is a major a** before he finally comes around.

This is a spinoff from The Manor Series, and I'm glad to see the author write a series around these sexy men.

She's a sub. He's quite obviously a dom. Gabe owns Eros, and Sophia is his newest employee, a whip-smart event coordinator who's taking his club's popularity and finances to new heights. They have a special connection, but he has rules, making her off-limits. Lucky for him, she's not afraid to break them.
Her past, and the scars she lives with, remind her every day of the abuse and violence she suffered at the hands of her ex-husband. This is a very sensual story, with some action and suspense, a good bit of hot sex, and a quite enjoyable story as we watch Gabe fall and break his rules.

Ryker is everything that Dakota didn't know she needed in her life. He steps up to protect her when her daughter's absentee father decides to make a play for custody. Together with little Skye, they make a terrific family. I really enjoyed their journey; he was obviously a dom, while she was still exploring her submissive side. As always, the book was well written, with an incredible story and characters that I grew to care about.

Sylvie is Prue's best friend (from The Manor Series); she meets Dean when she comes to Denver with Prue. She'd love nothing better than to stay, but a work commitment has her heading back to New York, with the promise of a long-distance relationship with Dean. Their hot chemistry drew me in from the start of the book. Their stubbornness, pride and poor communication keep them apart. The most angsty of the books in this series, it's also the one I like best.

MIDNIGHT RENEGADE
Reegan and Brody were in a relationship at college but it did not end well. Reegan has not forgiven Brody, but the night that they both arrive late at the Eros Pit club and can't find partners, they agree to scene together, but can it go any further. Brody wants to settle down but can he convince Reegan.

It's great to meet some of the characters that we have met in previous books in this series. I always enjoy books by Anya Summers.

MIDNIGHT RENDEZEVOUS
Emilia and Asher have always had an antagonistic relationship. What Emilia doesn't realise is that Asher had promised his friend, her brother, that he wouldn't have a relationship with her. But when Emilia has a problem with a stalker she goes to FBI agent Asher for help. They pretend to be in a relationship to discourage her stalker, but it doesn't work. What is going to happen?

A KNIGHT TO REMEMBER
Peyton is on a blind date, but she is regretting she ever agreed to go on it. Her date had been going to have dinner with her before they went to a fancy dress night at a club, but he skipped that and then took her to a BDSM club. When she tried to leave, he grabbed her and was about to rape her when Colin rescues her. Colin is one of the Ryan brothers and he introduces Peyton to a completely different lifestyle. The whole experience is different for Colin as well. He quickly finds that Peyton is becoming special to him and that he wants more than a quick hookup.

This is a great series. Every book is a pleasure to read. The book reads fine as a standalone, although we have met some of the minor characters in earlier books.

All the stories take place at Eternal Eros and Eros Pit, naughty nightclub and lifestyle club for the D/S inclined and are named after the themed singles nights that bring the couples together. I loved all three of the stories in this collection.

MIDNIGHT MASQUERADE

Sophia and Gabe - Rules are made to be broken (especially the stupid ones). These two would never have connected without Sophia's deception. Gabe had a strict rule against dating employees, and even though Sophia checked all of his boxes he could not get out of his own way. Sophia is the event coordinator, so she has the inside track to manipulate a clandestine scene. Gabe does not react well, but in the end, we get a great HEA.

MIDNIGHT MYSTIQUE

Dakota and Ryker, the bad boy of Eros - Don't judge any book by its cover. Dakota is a single mom; her daughter's bio-dad was never in the picture. But the bio-father shows up and wants full custody for some unknown reason. I loved that Ryker and "little bit" get along so well. Well done, sweet HEA that almost doesn't happen.

MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Sylvie and Dean - Communication is key, people! Fall head over heels, agree to a long-distance relationship and then fail to communicate. Sylvie fails to tell Dean about a situation in her past, and when the past comes back to her in an emotional way, she doesn't know how to tell him. Circumstances arise that Dean interprets as Sylvie "ghosting" him. All's well that ends well, but a lot of grief could have been prevented with honest communication. Nice HEA that seemed a little bit rushed after all the drama.

This is a collection of the first 3 stories in the series. The stories centre around the Ryan family and their Clubs Eternal Eros and the Eros Pit. These are BDSM themed stories.

The stories in this collection are Midnight Masquerade, Midnight Mystique and Midsummer Night's Dream. I am reviewing Midnight Masquerade.

This story is about Gabe, one of the owners of the clubs. He is a Dom with dark desires, he has been attracted to one of his staff members, Sophia, since she started working for him. But Gabe has rules, he doesn't sleep with his staff so he has controlled himself around her. However, Sophia feels the same for Gabe and decides to take matters into her own hands. She makes sure that during one of their singles nights, Gabe is the Dom she selects to do a scene with. Because the evening is themed, she wears a mask and a costume, so Gabe doesn't realise it is Sophia until they wake up the next day. He is furious with her because he has broken his rule, even though he would like to to keep breaking it over and over with her, he has rules for a reason. Gabe will not give into his attraction and this leads Sophia to state she is resigning after their next event and she even goes as far as spending time with another Dom in front of Gabe to make him jealous. Will Gabe finally give into what he really wants before its too late.

I enjoyed reading these books and would recommend reading them.

Midnight Masquerade – How would you feel if you were a Dom and someone blew your rules out of the water? What would it take to finally make you break and grab what you truly want right in front of you? This book was an enjoyable ride to answer the questions above. The book takes you on an unusual ride between the characters with an unexpected twist that I am sure you will really enjoy.

Midnight Mystique – This book was so much more then what I thought I would be reading. It is much more wonderful. I enjoyed watching and caring that developed between the characters (my kindle begs to different since at some points it tried to catch on fire with some of the scenes that we in the book). I think this book made this series much more feeling with the characters the author has written into this selction

Midsummer Night’s Dream - The book started a little to hard on the insta-love connection but wait for it does have a wonderful read and an awesome ending. The BDSM scenes were good and hot with an emotional twist.
