Can an alien prince in exile protect an escaped slave who won’t surrender?
A year as a slave in an alien mine is enough to destroy any woman, but Nancy refuses to give up hope. When she sees a chance to escape, she takes it.
Her freedom is worth almost any price, but she didn’t anticipate how hard she would have to struggle to survive. When a strange new alien discovers her, she fears the worst. He’s part man, part snake, and all dangerous - but he makes her feel safe for the first time since she was taken.
Banished from his home planet, former prince Kaiyo has found a place for himself in the dangerous underworld of Kalima. For the right fee, he’ll solve any problem - quickly, efficiently, and with no questions asked. The only problems he can’t fix are his own.
When an uncharacteristically altruistic action leads to the discovery of a fierce, frightened woman, his long-forgotten instincts demand that he protect her - whether she wants him to or not. And the more time he spends with the tasty human, the more he realizes he never wants to let her go.
But Kaiyo’s past is about to catch up with him. He has no intention of releasing his claim on Nancy - but will she be able to handle all of his secrets? And will his people ever accept a human?
Each book in the Alien Abduction series can be read as a standalone romance. This sweet and steamy romance is intended for a mature audience only.
I really enjoyed the dynamic that played out between these characters. Nancy was stolen from Earth and now stranded on an alien planet, she tried to make an abandoned residence as 'homey' as she could. When a strange alien enters her new home, she is desperate to stake her claim and make him leave.
Too bad Kaiyo was in the mood to be a gentleman. No way was he going to leave a defenseless human female like that. But how could he stay? And what did an exile have to offer her for a future?
Again, if I were to be kidnapped by aliens, please let me fall into the hands of the ones from this series! Two characters who couldn't find a home found one with each other.
What a fine story! Nancy is a woman determined not to be ill-used for sex. I admire her for finding a way to escape, and a safe haven in which to hide. Kaiyo uses his skills learned in another life to make a living in Yangu. I love his honorable intent never to take what is not offered. It doesn’t mean he won’t entice *wink*. When these two meet, things begin to sizzle! The return to his home world brings a slew of intrigue, danger, and deadly attacks. Nancy and Kaiyo have a lot to work through! I love this story - action-packed and deeply romantic!
Not my favorite Naga book, but not the worst one I’ve read either…
Sum: Nancy is a stolen human slave, stuck on a planet with cruel aliens and forced to either pretend to be male and work in the mines, or take on the role of a “companion” in a brothel. Obviously, she chose the mines. After a year of hardships, abuse and near starvation - a sad opportunity of another slave dropping dead while on a jungle excursion, allows her the rare moment to escape. Finding an abandoned mining town, and cabin above it, she finds a place to call her home and fights to survive. Insert, Kaiyo, a disgraced and exiled naga prince, is off doing a dirty job of hunting someone when he crosses path with small Nancy. His princely charms and genuine curiosity wants to take care of her and learn about her, while the heart and body of him wants her writhing beneath him…but Nancy chose the mines for a reason…she isn’t the human notch in an alien males bedpost.
The summary basically says everything. There were things I liked about this and things I didn’t. It’s roughly the same for this whole series. Enough to keep me intrigued but nothing to write home about.
I do really like the other female, and an ex of our prince, was actually not a bitch, nor did she put Nancy down, she was a great friend which is super rare to see. Loved her a lot actually.
The bad guy could have been more flushed, and maybe we could have been given more background on why he simply left after he got in trouble, especially when there was so much evidence to the contrary??
Overall? 3.2 Plot? 3 Spice? 2 Cheating? No CharDev? 2? HEA? Yes Fave Char? His Ex… lmao Series? Yes, of a stand-alone nature though Tropes? alien, kidnapped, naga Triggers? No
Kaiyo is a Naga in exile. Accused of a crime he did not commit he ended up having to tru!y learn how to take care up and carve out a Destiny for himself. In the last book he helped an acquaintance try and find his missing mate instead he found a human mate of his own. Nancy was taken away from all she had ever known and loved sold to an alien and fought back before he could rape her. She was sent to work in jewel mines disguised as a small male. When a series of event gave her an opportunity to escape she took it without looking back. Alone and struggling to survive is when she encounters Kaiyo. He finds her absolutely delicious and beautiful she finds him arrogant and so very sexy. They make up excuses to stay together until it becomes clear that they belong together. Once that happens a bit of adventure drama, and royal court intrigue keep this couple on their toes but it's the love and passion they discover for each other that will make your heart flutter and put a smile on your face. This series never disappoints. The characters are well written and fun to read about and the world building is always fantastic. Highly recommend and I can't wait to see what comes next!💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖💖💖🔥💖🔥🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥💖
When we first met Kaiyo, he came across as a somewhat brutal, sly fixer. You know, the guy who quietly took care of bodies and cleaned up other undesirable problems for people who were happy not to ask too many questions. While he is most definitely that, he's also...well, he's pretty sweet to Nancy. As we find out, he's not just some random street thug, either.
After her initial wariness and against her better judgement, Nancy finds herself trusting Kaiyo. He alleviates her loneliness and keeps his word, which is HUGE for her. He also does everything he can to keep her safe. As you might guess, that's another point in his favor.
Things get a little dicey for our couple when Kaiyo gets called home. Court life has it's own set of pitfalls and Nancy doesn't quite trust the people close to Kaiyo to have his best interests at heart.
A battle of wills, kisses and other steamy things, a little case of betrayal, found family, and a human in danger. These aliens sure don't disappoint! *thumbs up*
Nancy has made some tough decisions since waking to discover herself stolen from Earth and turned into a slave. Having to deal with aliens as a whole was startling enough before she was made aware of the options in front of her. She managed to escape the pleasure house (where the pleasure is definitely not for those who live there) and ended up in the mines. Her supervisor so to speak was a male who did what he could for her and unknown to her reported her dead. She found a cabin and has tried to make ends meet to save from starvation, that was until the large green snake man turned up. Kaiyo has done a number of things that he is not proud of to survive however the first thing, which catapulted him into the life he now leads he is innocent of. He is bored and decides to look for a lost human to occupy himself. Then it becomes apparent to him that he making any number of excuses to stay with her now he found her, that is until he finds he has to go home. What to do now? Would she go with him? Can Nancy truly love her green male?
Nancy chose to work in the mines instead of the brothel. Linzim, one of the guards helped her to look like a small male. For a year she worked in the mines waiting for a chance to escape. When they were taken to a mine near a ghost town she saw her chance. She stayed hidden until she was sure no one was coming back to look for her. Nancy found a nice cabin to live in. While Kaiyo was looking for Chinit and Sendat's female that he had abducted, he came up to Chinit's cabin. He knew he wasn't there because it was too barren for his taste. When he entered the cabin he knew that a female was there. Follow Nancy and Kaiyo's story into love and into Nagara. Guaranteed HEA.

I loved this one…and not because my name was finally used as a heroine LOL. I so enjoy this series, each written with strong determined females and the exotic males that love them. Here we get to “see” the character of Kaiyo from Phillips previous book. His character intrigued me when he offers to help look for a missing mate of the Minotaur for no reward. Kaiyo is in fact rewarded with his mate Nancy, an escaped slave. I love the determination in Nancy…she survives a hostile environment by her wits and tenacity. It is a great love story of acceptance and passion. Excellent read!❤️❤️❤️❤️
4.5 stars probably my favorite from the series so far (I have been reading out of order depending on my mood). Loved both the H and the h and the way they worked together to build a home and a relationship. Just gave me all the "feels" I needed.
Kaiyo being a snake alien worked! Maybe because I really like the kraken guys... who knows?! Nancy has been abducted and works as a slave in the mines, but she escapes. I enjoyed her character because she's industrious and determined. We met Kaiyo in Mary and the Minotaur and I've got to tell you, I loved him. He was definitely surrounded by mystery. He's resourceful, has skills, and underworld ties. Kaiyo is fierce on the outside, but soft on the inside for Nancy. This book has some angsty moments where our heroine gets into some trouble. And you won't be disappointed, Phillips steams it up throughout this story. I loved reading about a female lead with my name. (Thanks, Honey!! You and Amanda Milo are my heroes!) The adventure and plot turns in this book were unexpected and I loved the ending. You'll make new friends and get reacquainted with some old ones. I may be partial because I beta read for Honey, but Nancy and the Naga is one of my favorite books in this whole series! Don't miss this gem! 5 stars
I am enjoying this series. It keeps my attention, I generally like the Heros and the heroines are strong without being overbearing.
I find some things that bug me. There is overall a theme of slut shaming, the disgust with prostitution, use of 'whores' and always the heroines that were "too strong" to "let" themselves be sexually assaulted before found by the Hero is a little grating to me.
As well I find the alien parts of the books super glossed over. Makes them an easy read romance but man, this dude had a tail and no legs and it really isn't gone into that much. They alien ship captain even performs a bonding ceremony with no human input that is almost identical to a wedding. There are dining tables even though they have tails, and only casual reference to anatomy differences. Culturally it could be books about just different places on earth.
I liked this heroine and the twists of the book were unexpected and fun. I'll continue with the series for sure.
Who's to say that I read this book in one sitting....me that's who! Let me just tell you, I have envisioned Nagas before in other fantasy novels and in my RPG games of a certain type (bring in the monstrous, scary type) but this has brought to my attention the other more alluring type, and needless to say it ignited my need and attraction for them. Honey, you did not disappoint with this mouth-watering Naga! People reading this will know exactly what I am talking about because this book has intrigue, suspense, and romance to knock your socks off...no pun intended. The MFC, Kate, has a strong independence that rivals the MMC, Kaiyo, but it works so well within the storyline. It was a page-turner from start to finish, and seriously you will definitely enjoy the steamy romance scenes. It's definitely going down in my books as a repeat offender, so definitely add it to your list!!
The writing and editing of the ARC version of the manuscript was clean, with no typos that I found and an authorial voice that gave me the warm fuzzies. The world building was competent, though I was disappointed that the protagonists were not reproductively compatible. That always gives me a minor case of the blues in a sci-fi romance, though I understand that it logically makes more sense that way. The characterization was good, with both the hero and heroine being sympathetic individuals with nuance. The development of the romantic relationship was sweet and funny, with the alpha hero seeing the heroine and immediately going, “MINE!” That is one of my favorite things in a romance novel. The heat level was four chili peppers in this novel, with the hero possessing some fun non-human anatomy. The plot was action packed and exciting, so the pacing was therefore quick and gripping. This novel had low angst and high stakes throughout, which tends to be one of my preferred narrative structures for a romance novel. This novel had the Fake Relationship trope. The world building, plot, and pacing were all four stars. The characterization and development of the romantic relationship were also four stars. I therefore gave this novel a combined rating of four stars. This novel ended on a Happy Ever After ending instead of a cliffhanger ending, so that was a major plus. I recommend this novel to readers who enjoy sweet, devoted alpha males and spooky atmosphere in their sci-fi romances. I look forward to reading the next book in this series when it releases. I preordered a keeper copy of this novel after reading the ARC.

𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐑𝐓 𝐑𝐄𝐕𝐈𝐄𝐖/𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇𝐓𝐒: Okay so, I'm totally obsessed with Krakens and Nagas right now. There's something extra alien about them that makes them so unique and interesting. This is the first Naga romance I've read and I'm definitely in love with them as much as Krakens now! I adored Kaiyo so much. He's definitely a charming rogue. We got a bit of him in the previous book and I was like, "Yes, please!" This was super steamy and such an adorable story. These two are so perfect together. The humor was spot on and the world building was great, as usual. I really loved this one so much!!
I loved this book! Another fantastic edition to Honey's Alien Abduction series! I was immediately drawn to Kaiyo when I was introduced to him in the last book. I liked his personality, and was attracted to him more when he stepped up to help the minotaur hero of the last book search for his kidnapped mate out of honor. This book begins with him on that search in a deserted mining town. Rather than finding the female he's searching for, it's another human he discovers. Nancy was abducted from home and sold to be a pleasure slave, but she fights back, determined not to be raped, and eventually is disguised as a male and works in the mines. When she sees a chance to escape, she takes it and does her best to survive in an abandoned house above the deserted town. Until an alien naga finds her and doesn't seem interested in just leaving her alone.
I found Kaiyo to be completely charming. He's honorable and despite a hard past, he's done well for himself and has a reputation of skill and merit. I was really excited for a naga hero. I've always been interested in nagas, but the books I've read with them could be counted on one hand. Nancy is strong and adaptable. Being raised with three brothers, she knows how to take care of herself and does her best in an alien planet in a situation that's challenging at best. I really liked the chemistry between these two. They suited each other and I loved watching that bond grow.
Fabulous book and I definitely recommend reading this one. 5 stars.
🐍 “I miss nothing. You are perfect exactly as you are.” ~~~ I absolutely loved Nancy! She’s so brave, kind and smart. I loved her strength and her determination and resolve to survive all the hardships thrown her way. And she’s managed to do so much on her own. She’s one amazing and fierce woman!
And then, there’s Kaiyo! Oh, I liked him so much when I met him in the previous story. But now… Well, that male can charm the shit out of me anytime he wants! He’s big, strong, dangerous and intense. But he’s also thoughtful, honorable, fiercely protective, determined, witty and wicked. Even more, hidden under all that badassness, there’s a wonderful and affectionate soul. I absolutely adored him! And what woman could resist two big, spiked, ridged, vibrating… *cough*
Everything that happened between them was so wonderful! After all Nancy has been through, she’s hard to trust any alien and it took some time for her to accept her feelings for Kaiyo. But from the start their attraction was undeniable. They were a perfect match and the passion they shared was sizzling hot. They had to go through a lot and in the end they more than deserved to find love and happiness with each other! Even more, I loved their differences and had such fun reading the parts when Nancy was affected by Kaiyo’s venom.
Overall, the story is another magnificent addition to the series. It’s filled with fast-paced action, suspense, danger, betrayal, unexpected friendships, twists, steamy romance and wonderful characters.
I couldn’t put it down and absolutely loved every page of it!
Human Nancy has been a slave in an alien mine for a year and has refused to give up, so when she gets a chance she escapes. She never realised how hard it was going to be to survive on her own but when a strange new alien that is part man and part snake finds her she fears the worst - however he actually makes her feel safe for the first time since she was abducted. Prince Kaiyo was banished from his home planet and has found a place for himself in the dangerous underworld of Kalima and can usually solve any problem, however, he seems unable to fix his own. When had discovers the fierce and frightened Nancy his long-forgotten instincts demand that he protect her no matter what she thinks. The longer he spends with her the more he never wants to let her go. Kaiyo’s past is about to catch up with him. He has no intention of releasing his claim on Nancy - but will she be able to handle all of his secrets? And will his people ever accept a human?
I enjoyed this story with the feisty Nancy and the determined Kaiyo. It was interesting to see how the politics of his homeworld came to play out and how Nancy's presence meant that the various parties in the politics came to the fore and gave themselves away. I loved the various twists in the story and it was great to see another human female find her HEA with a high ranking male alien. Contains some mature content.
This book has lots of steamy scenes, amazing characters, passion, seduction and a happily ever after ending. It’s well written and will have you hooked from the start.
Nancy was abducted by aliens, sold, killed her owner and was then sent to the mines. There was a chance to escape so she took it, the town is abandoned and so is the cabin on the mountain overlooking it. It’s the cabin where she’s been staying but also where Kaiyo from the last book was sent. He’s shocked to find the human female staying there he’s even more shocked to find that she is irresistible. Nancy is scared of him at first, she can’t seem to trust anyone since her abduction, but he grows on her and she finds herself aroused by him. When she’s attacked and wounded Kaiyo offers to bite her as his venom has analgesic properties, this also makes her feel like she’s drunk although it does loosen her tongue a bit. She asks him to help her learn to better hunt for food ect before leaving her and he agrees but what she may not realise is that he doesn’t plan on going anywhere for the foreseeable future and if he does, she will be going with him.

This is the first book I'm reading from this author and - I LOVED IT! It was so interesting reading the ML and especially how he was different, and same for the FL who had been kidnapped and ran away. It was so easy to get sucked into what was happening, but also not being overwhelmed with details or points. And the steam was definitely way on point and greatly enjoyed!!! I'd love to read more Naga species male leads from this author, and still just can't get over how the two really were adorable together.
I do say my only small things I'm nitpicking on is that although steamy scenes were steamy - it felt once it reached the climax (no pun intended) - it was just a sentence and over. Not to give too much away, but the "sad" part to the end was bittersweet - however I think it was really appropriate and the two still got to have something anyways. I think that's really important for not all HEA to be what you fully expect as a standard HEA.
Other than that, would highly recommend for someone looking for Naga species type male lead - who dotes on his love. Hope that we get to see more of their particular world and I'm ready to start on others from this author!

He is a snake alien with a tail (no legs) and fangs and venom. When he bites her and gives her a little venom he can heal her and she also gets very drunk.
He keeps wanting to provide for her so he hunts food and is very happy when she eats it. He turns on the water and power in the house. He also seduces her even though she is worried he'll rape her. He tells her he doesn't rape women, they always ask him. And she learns to trust him and then they have sex.
They fall in love and he wants her to be with him forever.
SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER
I took off 1 star because he was too stupid to realize his former teacher and mentor was betraying him. His wife had to tell him and he refused to believe it until he found the guy trying to choke her to death.
I was also upset that they can't have kids together because their species are too different. This was a shock because every other book has had aliens and humans who could have kids together.
Luckily his dead cousin had fathered a daughter with a servant but the servant died in the same crash that killed him. So he and the heroine adopt her as their daughter so they adopt a kid together.
When a banished ex-royal Kaiyo, a Nagaran male with a checkered past, discovers an escaped human female slave sparks fly in this thrilling hot page turner. Kayio has only had to worry about himself for years. Navigating and learning the dark and seedy underground in order to survive. Sent off his home world after being accused of plotting against the royal family he had to survive any way he could. When a favor leads him to an abandoned mining town his whole world shifts on its axis when he discovers little Nancy. She's smart, fierce, determined and he wants her more with every breath he takes. When things begin to heat up between the two Kayio is sent a message to return home. He refuses to leave behind his beautiful human. But can she survive the cruel cold world of Nagaran royal court? When old familiar faces present themselves with old betrayals and new evil plots can Nancy and Kayio's budding love survive? Can she ? A kick a$$ story with a fairytale feel and dark plots. A great page turner for this reader.
As Always, I thought that this story was magnificent !! Nancy has been abducted, and has ended up escaping . She has found shelter, but it is a hard existence . Kayio, who we met in the last book, is looking for Chinit, and Miri, who he kidnapped. Imagine Kayio's surprise, when he does indeed find a human female, but not the one he was looking for . Hmmm...... I thought that these two were well matched ! He was sardonic, and funny. She was sassy and funny. As they get to know each other and figure out their future, we fund our many things about each, that makes this book a fun addition to this alphabetical series of human females getting abducted and the males that find themselves lucky in love with some incredible women !!!! Beautiful descriptions of lands far, far away makes these super fantastic reads !!! I wonder who is going to be " O " ??? 😄😄😄

Standalone heroine in this one - Nancy was taken in a group like the three previous books. We also spend a lot more time with just the two main characters as they're in the abandoned town before traveling to a place with more people and intrigue. I liked Nancy, but felt like she could have used some more page time for her character to blossom - we're told that she's a tomboy, raised by her dad with three brothers, but apart from preferring to wear pants and wanting to learn how to hunt I didn't get the sense that she was that "boyish".
Kaiyo was interesting in the previous book, but this one takes him out of that underworld setting, so he drops the smug, arrogant attitude pretty quickly. The Nagarans are a snake-like people so that creates some interesting anatomical differences! There's some cultural and dress differences that come into play later in the book, and I did like the description of dancing.
What a fabulous story! Nancy was definitely a character that was bred to survive. Although she was doing okay on her own, the introduction of Kaiyo on the scene definitely changed the dynamic of her situation. There was a good build-up to a relationship, there were harrowing events that intensified the dramatic progression, but their interaction was always kind of witty and then kind of hot. So obviously I loved the characters. This whole series is full of stories and characters that will speak to you. I wondered though if they would have a snake baby or a slew of eggs? In any case, this was a fun read with dashes of heat and excitement, a fun story with some bad actors, but thankfully a HEA!
Honey Phillips does it again. I love Nancy, the spirited, kidnapped and captured human from the off limits planet Earth falling for an alien who is a snake man. After choosing to work in a mine run by the Tajiri over being forced to become a sex slave, Nancy escapes and is discovered on an abandoned mining planet by Kaiyo who is an outcast, falsely accused of some unforgivable palace intrigue against his beloved twin cousins. He has created a new life where he is highly sought after in the business of finding people and sought after “stuff”. Their mutual attraction changes their loner status until they are forced to choose to return to Nagara together or separate again.
Kaiyo appeared in a prior book and now we learn his back story. He stumbles across Nancy while helping search for another human slave. He's intrigued by Nancy who escaped from her captors and is now hiding out. He helps her hunt and make her hideaway more liveable. As they spend more time together, Kaiyo wonders if she may be his mate despite being human. When his past comes calling, he invites her to join him on his planet where he is a prince. Nancy is quickly drawn into political intrigue with deadly consequences. Kaiyo and Nancy can have their hearts desire if they trust in each other. Despite their very different anatomy, there's plenty of sexy time in addition to life or death action.
Nancy & Kaiyo's story was unique & interesting. Nancy is nothing like the previous heroines. She is a slender tomboy, a fighter & a survivor. She's a really good person who was torn from her happy life on earth by slavers. Kaiyo has been through a lot of tragedy, deceit, betrayal & was banished from his home planet. He had to completely reinvent himself after his banishment. He is actually a good guy who had to do some bad-ish things to survive & then thrive after his banishment. He is really an honorable male, as we see with his initial interactions with Nancy. Their story has lots of excitement, intrigue, adventure, & danger. It is full of steamy, sexy time with true love 🥰
I have thoroughly enjoyed the Alien Abduction series. The author has done a great job of creating romance in the most unlikely of characters. Her creativity of blending the human and aliens anatomy is hot and romantic all at the same time. I've read the series in order and only one book of the series that I did not entirely enjoy only because I am not one that enjoys pain, bondage or being submissive. I applaud the author for including all sexual themes within the series.
As always I truly like to thank all authors for the bravery to share their imagination and hard work with us.
