I don’t know what it is but I love seeing these bears as illustrations. They give such a lifelike feel to the story. All of the bears are sitting on the front porch balancing shells on their heads. Then they see a moving truck pull up in the house across the street. New “neigh-bears!”, lol. Later that day, the bears are having a picnic in the park. There are such cute pictures of them all sitting around a picnic basket. While on the swing, Chance spots another bear in the trees that looks just like him. He tries to tell the others but the bear is already gone. Chance spots the bear again in a tree hollow. While all the bears are napping, Chance can’t sleep so he decides to go downstairs and sees the look-alike bear again. He runs upstairs to wake Ginger. They both go downstairs and look for the bear outside. With the help of Cinnamon and Sugar they locate the bear and another bear in the flower garden. We find out that the look-alike bear is Chance’s twin brother and he has a friend, Goldie, who looks just like Ginger, only smaller.

This wonderful story with unique illustrations/pictures will leave your children wanting to make their own books using their stuffed animals. If you haven’t seen them yet, check out all of the books in the Chance series.
