quote
- "i don't tell anyone, they don't ask, and the world still spins; time continues."
- "remember me as who i wish to be, rather than who i am... remember me. remember me. remember me."
- "so now, i forgive you with a mangled sense of self, cracked and shattered pride, but with a shine of hope for my future."
- "the wonderful something in pausing, gazing up, and opening ourselves to the heavens."

note
we need to tell each other these things.

this whole book is just such a cool idea. I loved crying at some of the letters and smiling at some of the others.

This book is comprised of what it sounds like, anonymous letters. People sent in there anonymous notes to be included in this book, for numerous reasons. There were some particular letters in the book that made me weep. The page that I am specifically talking about is To: my pets in heaven (or wherever there is an afterlife). I got this book about a month after loosing two of my cats and I had to put the book down for a while after I read the page. Besides that though, their are letters to parents, abusers, friends, cancer, and even the sun. I personally wrote a letter for their second book, but I have not read it yet to see if it was put in. I really hope they make a third book because I for one would read it. This book took my heart out and put in a blender. I would only recommend this book to people who WANT to cry.

people sending their anonymous letters ; letting theirselves be vulnerable. some of them yell how in love they are. others describe their sadness, through these words, you can feel how broken they are. others express their grief, how they are hurting inside. all of them are stong people, all of them express these feelings by letting us know what they want to say maybe out loud,,, and in a way, i find it so beautiful, while in another way, i wish i could hug them all and tell every single one of them how they make the sky shine just because they exist.

such a nice concept, and a beautiful book.

To: Anyone Who Needs To Hear It

I have a feeling all the letters you will receive are going to be more like confessions and people admitting how sad and deeply unhappy they are. Simply because a lot of people don't have an outlet, so writing an anonymous letter that could one day be shared with the world seems like the only option when you need someone to talk to. However, I have something different to say. I love you. I love the world. I love everyone so much and so hard I often don't know what to do with it. I love when my neighbors laugh or sing. I love when an emergency vehicle comes through and everyone pulls over and life just stops for a second. I love
when something bad happens and people just shrug and go "it's okay." I love when someone takes care of another sick person knowing they will also get sick. There is so much beauty in everyday life. We often yearn for a better afterlife that we forget to make the life we are living now, worth it.

4/5 ⭐

This book has some very heavy topics and is not for the faint of heart (trigger warnings are explicitly said in the beginning which I like). Lots will make you cry, angry, feel every emotion whether you want it to or not. But I'm glad this book was made. It has probably helped many people be able to speak about their truth and to let out everything on paper without fear. To the authors who made this possible,

Thank you.

This book took my words out of my mouth, the amount of things that I could relate to In this book was incredible. I loved hearing other peoples story and the way that they think and there perspective on life. I was so intrigued on what entry came next that I finished this book all In one day and I tell you I ran as fast I could to buy part 2 to this book so I can read more. Highly recommend this book.

Each submission from a different person really shows that deep down, everyone is struggling in their own way and some are just better hiding it.

This book made me realise that people go through the same things I do and it made me less afraid and more important then anything

It made me feel less alone.

Love the idea of this book, a lot of the letters were a bit bland, but some were real diamonds. My feelings were all over the place, I felt anger, happiness, joy and most of all; sadness. The stories were all written by different people from all over the world, living different lives and having different experiences and it was beautiful to get to peek into everyone’s thoughts.

I gave this book a 4 out of 5 stars, I did like the amount of support and trigger warnings there were in the beginning of the book and I loved how each letter was written, I connected with many people about their letters and how they felt. I loved the roller coaster of emotions I was put through, it reminds me of life and how much life is a roller coaster

I saw an art installation once with this same concept in a museum in either NYC or DC and the letters featured were fascinating and moving. I thought this was a compilation from that exhibit so I went in with museum quality expectations. I ended up disappointed but others with fresh eyes are giving great reviews.

I don’t feel like I can rate this book. So many of these letters gave me goosebumps. So many of these letters made my heart ache for the person writing them. This book was a great idea so thank you to Amelia and Kaitlyn for giving so many people an opportunity to write an anonymous letter

So much positivity and power in these letters. At times it feels like a self-help book but lovely reading them all. Feel like I can’t really rate it though as it’s people’s innermost thoughts/feelings and emotions. Highly recommend though :))

It was definitely an interesting concept but it would have been nice to have categories or sections. The book was just emotional whiplash all the way through.

Lessons learned:
1) It’s okay to not know who I am.
2) Everyone goes through struggles. I’m not alone. I’m human.
3) Do it. No regrets.

This book was a quick read and had some great letters in it. I love the idea of collecting anonymous letters and the novelty of that alone made the book somewhat enjoyable. However, many of the letters dealt with the same themes so it quickly got repetitive and after reading the nth confession of love, I got bored. I would only recommend the book to someone who thinks the premise is enough to quench that boredom.
