Rainbow's End

Rate this book
Toby Tubbs and his cat were shipwrecked and drifted into a beautiful little cove. Tody decides he's had enough adventures at sea for a while, and settles in the cove, living in a tent. Since Toby is so good with animals, soon neighbors are bringing him their pets to cure. He's so busy, he doesn't have time to build a house before he is called to sea again.

The plot has a few dramatic moments, but mostly takes time for observations of nature and townspeople in rural Maine.
