A sexy painter. A billionaire condom manufacturer. Things were hard between them in the past. Can his return make her explode with new colors?

Perfection is overrated.

After life-shattering news sent her boyfriend AWOL, Marissa Sinclair is painting her way past heartbreak. Between earning an art degree, helping her parents run the P.S. Resort on Postscript Island, and dating a sweet (if sightly safe) café owner, Marissa is determined to make her life a masterpiece.

After Weston Stambro fled to the States, he lucked into buying a small condom manufacturing plant. With no stiff competition, the factory grew into a medium, then large, and finally into an extra-large money-maker. Now he’s a billionaire with a perfect life.

When his mom begs for help in selling her boutique, Weston doesn’t hesitate to point his yacht at Postscript Island. But he wishes he’d brought protection for his heart.

Will Marissa and Weston whitewash their past and paint a new picture?

Tropical Date is a steamy, standalone romantic comedy. A guaranteed sweet HEA and is the third book in the Postscript Island series. Be sure to read the first book, Tropical Love, to see how P.S. Resort began.

This is the first book I have read by the author and I look forward to exploring more of her Postscript Island series! The novel was well written and an immersive world where you feel you belong. This is a book you can pick up and lose yourself. I am all for slow romance lines, but a slow stirring plot was a minor draw back for me. The story follows 2 first-time loves, Weston and Marissa, and how they are reintroduced to each other after several years of a part with a dramatic break. Of course, there are a lot of words unsaid between the two of them, and their hometown of Postscript is oblivious, even though it might have been Marissa's doing. They come together to explore the intrigue surrounding the island's citizens and their possessions. Then upon further investigation, things go from curious to downright dangerous, not just for our two main characters, but others as well! Along the way they have the ability to reconnect, but will Weston's overprotective nature and the intrigue ruin it for Marissa's strong independent nature and protective focus for Postscripts citizens stand in the way? Read the book and escape to Postscript Island!!

R S Jonesee's latest will not disappoint her fans. There is an element of mystery woven in the romance which I enjoyed. Marissa is a strong lead in a cast of well crafted characters. The setting is a star in its own right. The author who got me back reading romcom has not lost her touch.

This is a great second chance, billionaire romance that I really, really enjoyed. I had not read any of this author’s work before, but after reading this book, I’ll be sure to read more in future as I was impressed by the storytelling from this author and how well the story flowed.
Weston left Postscript Island after a false pregnancy scare with his girlfriend Marissa. When he comes back years later, he’s determined to win her over and that means telling her the real reason he left all those years ago.
I really enjoyed Weston and Marissa’s story. Weston is determined to win her over but Marissa is determined to keep him at arms length even though she really wants to wrap her arms around him and not let him go again.
I really liked both Weston and Marissa as characters. They are very well written and you can relate to them. The books also boasts a great cast of secondary characters who add so much to the story. I really hope that we get to see a lot more from these characters in future books from this author.
Definitely recommend.

Want to put everything aside and get lost in a fun, teasingly sexy read? Make sure you get this third book in Jonesee's excellent Postcript Island series.

Marissa Sinclair, daughter of Postcript Island's resort owners, is pretty happy with life. After all, she's about to fulfil a lifelong dream and open her own art gallery in the local Sante village; she has a boyfriend who's attentive, polite, makes perfect coffee, and can hang pictures; and a posse of girlfriends to cheer her along and have her back at every turn. All well and good, until Weston Stambro makes a dramatic re-appearance in her life. Hasn't she grown out of love with the boy who promised to take care of her on her first day of kindergarten and was always 'the one', until he wasn't? He fled the island, left her. What is he to her now? Apart from a gorgeous hunk of manhood with smiling eyes.

Weston has put his five years away from home to good use, building a hugely successful condom business, to the point he has a private chopper to take him from his four story luxury yacht (two swimming pools etc) to the resort and elsewhere. He also has a small private staff who love him, and would do anything for him. And do! Weston too, has put aside thoughts of Marissa as 'the one'. He likes to play around, one night stands and brief liaisons being easier on the emotions. He'd quite like to be friends again though. If that's possible.

What I loved about Tropical Date was the see sawing nature of how the relationship between the two develops, keeping the reader on edge, especially with Marissa's vagaries! Poor Weston. Although, maybe not poor Weston. Are there ulterior motives at play here, to do with the mysterious potential buyer of half of Sante's shops? He seems like a great guy, a true philanthropist and home to help his mom and other Sante shop owners make the right decision. But what does the buyer intend to do with all that property, and why are they apparently getting very nasty with people (like Marissa and her boyfriend, Gus) who speak out against them?

The mystery adds an extra depth to the romantic tale, an engaging sub-plot which gives rise to real conflict outside what I expected. Jonesee draws the threads together most skilfully and I bet you'll never guess ... ok, no hints.

Well written, well plotted, characters we care about and a gorgeous setting - what's not to like? Oh, and don't forget this is a steamy romance, and steam there is! Highly recommended.

PS While there's no need to have read the other books in the series to enjoy this one, I highly recommend you do so. You'll meet familiar friends and make new ones, and get to enjoy tropical bliss all over again.

An enjoyable and entertaining romantic comedy, which gave me some pure escapism whilst reading it, as I was transported to the tropical Postscript Island and the P.S. Resort. Painter Marissa and the now billionaire condom manufacturer, Weston have a difficult past, but now they have come face to face again on the Island. After Weston fled to the states, Marissa threw herself into her painting and is now studying for an art degree, whilst helping her parents run the resort. She’s also dating again, but although the local cafe owner is sweet he’s also safe. Her life is turned upside down when Weston returns to the Island to help his Mum sell her boutique.
Weston, who bought a small condom manufacturing plant, which turned out to be very successful and profitable is now a billionaire, living the perfect life, or so he thought, until he saw Marissa again. The couple need to decide if they can put the past behind them if they are to have a future. I loved Marissa and Weston and their chemistry definitely came across in the narrative, leading to some steamy scenes. I liked the witty banter between the couple and the innuendos added humour to the story. I liked the ‘will they won’t they’ element of the storyline, and the added plot twists, involving a mystery kept me hooked from start to finish. Although it can be read as a standalone story, I look forward to reading the previous books in the series now, so that I can return to the P.S. Resort!

I love a funny romantic comedy with some absolutely astounding puns thrown in, Tropical Date (Postscript Island Book 3) by R.S. Jonesee is that. I mean one of the main characters owns and operates a latex factory so you are talking comedy gold. This is a standalone romantic comedy with a really really slow burn second chance romance and a little mystery thrown in. I admit this is the first book I've read by this author, but this book has such humorous dialog and an interesting bonus to the storyline that I definitely want to check out more books by them.

We meet two highschool sweethearts, Weston and Marissa, several years after a tumultuous break. Marissa sill resides in Postscript Island and is about to embark on her dream of opening her own art gallery. She is dating a nice cafe owner and getting her life back on track, when Weston returns. Weston never thought he would return to Postscript, but when his mom needs his help he can't turn his back. It's there he sees Marissa again and though they have a strained past the sparks are still alive between them. As they try to figure out what's going on in Postscript, new obstacles and old feelings arise. Do second chances exist or are things better left in the past?

Okay where does one begin. Tropical Date, I liked it but I didn’t love it. And because of that, I might actually read it again to see if my feelings change. I enjoyed the concept the author created, unfortunately I felt the pace to be a little slow. I’ve read quite a few second chance romance novels recently and though this one wasn’t my favorite, I know there’s people out there who will love it! Especially with the mystery added in.
Weston and Marissa were high school sweethearts, till they weren’t. Weston walked away from everything because he couldn’t handle it. If he couldn’t be with Marissa he couldn’t be near her.
Leaving his island home with no intentions of returning, till his mom gets a strange offer for her store. Weston comes back to investigate and he’s pulled like a moth to Marissa’s flame. One problem is that she's seeing someone…
Will Weston fight for her?
How does the dynamic change once they are back in each other’s universe?
Also who wants to buy up island land, and destroy what island life is all about.
Keep an open mind as well as track if you want to track the author’s movements from page to page. Enjoy it!

Super fun ROMCOM!
Tropical Date is 5-Star delicious! Marissa, the daughter of Kingman and Francesca Sinclair, takes the lead in this sexy romp on Post Script Island, continuing RS Jonesee’s great romantic comedy series. In a twist on the “Billionaire who loved me” romance, high school sweetheart Weston returns to the island having made his fame and fortune in a global condom empire, still pining for the “best friend” who broke his heart. Marissa has her own life and goals now and no time for an old flame, no matter how good-looking or rich. Meanwhile a mysterious firm is offering to buy up all the real estate in town and odd happenings draw the two back together. Will they consummate their obvious attraction for each other? Will her heart melt? Will he tell her the truth?
If you like witty dialogue, groan worthy puns (most about the latex business!), and a fast paced read peppered with sarcasm, great characters, and some lusciously steamy bedroom scenes, this is not to be passed by! A fantastic romantic comedy and highly recommended.

Imagine sitting at the beach with a cocktail in hand and a good book in the other well that is exactly what Tropical Date is.

I love a good RomCom and that is just what RS has given us. She is a new author to me and one I look forward to reading more of. This is the third book in this series but I have read it as a standalone and I didn’t feel like I was missing out. I will however be going back to read the others.

Tropical date is fun and full of all the things I enjoy in a romantic comedy. I mean my sense of humour had me laughing when a girl was hit by a bus in Bad Girls.

There is nothing straight forward on the road to love especially when there is a past between them which makes for some delightful barbs and puns.

With a beautiful tropical setting, delightful wit, lots banter, a condom company and a nudist colony I couldn't help but laugh out loud. The delightful humour, wit and banter infused throughout this adventure added with a tad of mystery and a dab of danger there is something to delight your senses.

What a read! Of course, you knew that there was going to be tension between Marissa and Weston pretty much as soon as you start to get to know their story, and this author does not disappoint. Immediately after landing, the tension is at an all time high, and it doesn't dissipate throughout the novel. These two definitely were written in the stars, and as all relationships do, they have their ups and downs. This writing style is addictive, entertaining, and in some parts, a little predictable, but I think that comes with having read and watched as many romantic comedies as I possibly can.

I didn't realize there were more to the series, and I will certainly be travelling back to Postscript Island when time permits. This author has a way of building up her characters, making you feel very much like you know all those around, and feel the emotions boiling over as fast-paced entertainment thrills your mind with all the little twists and turns. I really enjoyed this novel, and would recommend to anyone that's looking for a fun, enjoyable adventure. Well done!

I really enjoyed this rom com. It is part of a series, however it can be read as a standalone and enjoyed just as much. I loved the characters, the author does an amazing job of making the characters relatable and their personalities jump right off the page.

The story is is set in a paradise where you can imagine falling in love would be easy. However the course of love is never straight forward and when it involves a past love then things just get even more complicated.
Add to the corruption and lies that are found in this book and it really adds an extra dimension to the story so it has something extra than just being a rom com

I love how the author brings in humour and innuendos to really highlight Marrisa and Westons past and the way they communicate with each other in this way really shows their relationship for the amazing connection it has. But will past events and current lies stop them from rekindling their relationship.

Tropical Date: Billionaire Romantic Comedy (Postscript Island #2) by R. S. Jonesee

This is the first book I've read by the author. Tropical Date is the second book in the Postscript Island Series. I'm going to be looking for the first book soon. This was amazing and I hope there's more.

Weston escapes to the states and runs into someone from his past. He's a billionaire and normally things don't frazzle him. Can they make it work and forget the past? The quote I chose for Weston is: “Paris, go on with the meeting. Mrs. Snowwoman has my vote. Make sure we add a gold star to her accessories.”

Marissa goes to college and gets her art degree. She paints to get over her missing boyfriend. When she runs into Weston things get difficult. The quote I chose for Marissa is: “Oh, please. I was working on a college degree and opening a store. Scatterbrained, I’d say.”

Highly recommended for Romantic Comedy lovers.

Having read Tropical Kiss, I was excited to get my hands on Tropical Date! Like book one, this easy-read and fun rom-com is set in a glorious paradise, populated by artistic locals and multi-millionaires. This presents a wonderful opportunity for pure escapism.
Tropical Date expands on Marissa and Weston’s story, touched upon in book one, but weaves this will-they-won’t-they romance into a tale of corruption, lies and crime, meaning it has more mystery and a more intricate plot than book one.
I loved the cheeky innuendos — there were references to helicopters and ‘choppers’, for example, and even some graphic but hilarious forays into a nudist colony! The whole book has an upbeat, fast paced, engaging feel, packed with witty and characterful dialogue.
Well worth five stars, and I can’t wait to read more about the inhabitants of the island!

Oh my goodness! How could you not love this book and all that it contained! I loved the romance this book held, but the humor was freaking perfect as well! I could not get enough of the story and the characters that it contained! Everything went together so well! I had a very happy and pleasant time reading this book!

I love a good romantic comedy novel, but this one simply takes the cake home! As I said i loved the humor and romantic moments, but the mystery that was in the story as well, really made the book even more amazing . Absolutely loved the writing style of this wonderful author. The author knew how to keep you invested, hooked, and wanting to know more! Wonderful and fantastic read! Loved it!

This book was a great, light and fun read! I am so very happy I got to read and indulge in this wonderful book. Very much a high recommendation from myself! A must read for sure!

I absolutely adored this story! I hadn’t read the previous 2 stories, but I definitely plan to check them out. I was expecting the standard rom-com second love story line, but then the author threw a curve-ball with a fun fill mystery added in. I enjoyed how she shared the background of Marissa and Weston’s teenage romance and how things went sideways in smaller pieces, so it wasn’t all thrown at us all at once. The story was filled with humor, but when the main character owns a condom empire, the jokes pretty much write themselves. Throw in a few trips to a nudist colony a sassy parrot and you have the perfect mix for hilarity. I loved the story line and how the characters grow and come together. It’s definitely a great book to read if you are looking to escape reality for a bit and need some steamy romance, a ton of humor, a dash of mystery, and a happily ever after.

Laugh out loud funny! Made me imagine I was sitting beachside with my toes in the sand, book & beverage in my hand!
Quick, easy, enjoyable read! While book 3 in the Postscript Island series is a stand alone novel, I do wish that I would have read the other two prior! Loved the author (R.S Jonesee) and their writing style! I will DEFINITELY seek out the other novels to go back and read!

Marissa & Weston were high school sweethearts until one day, Weston decided it was “too much” and left the island to pursue his dreams. Weston eventually returns home to the island, as he mom attempts to lure him home permanently with a business offer that he can’t refuse.

A nudist colony, a condom company, lots of laughs, some romance, and a mystery to solve…..all in a gorgeous, tropical setting. It doesn’t get any better than this! 5 stars! Highly recommend

Tropical Date is the third book in the Postscript Island series by R.S. Jonesee. This is the first book that I have read by this author, so I really didn’t know what to expect from one of her stories. But I love a fun read, and this certainly gave off those vibes- so I snapped up a copy and dove right in.
It is a witty romantic comedy with a second chances element, a tropical island setting, adventure, mystery, drama, banter/quips/antics, and danger…. All of which made for a sexy, fun story. A painter, a condom company CEO, a tropical island, their complicated past, some mayhem, banter, and plenty of chemistry- intriguing! Right?
I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be going back to read the other two books in the series, as well as any future releases by this talented author.
Happy Reading!

Thank you, R.S. Jonesee!

This was a good 4 star read. Of course the synopsis pulled me in, I had to see just how this story went and I wasn’t disappointed. This was a fun romantic comedy that once you start you won’t want to put it down. I really enjoyed Marissa and Weston’s story.

Of course these two have a history. And when Weston returns to Postscript Island things come rushing back to Marissa. Weston is determined to get Marissa back, what will she do when she learns the truth? Will she let him back into her heart?

This was a great story. All of the secondary characters added a great element to the story. The author does a great job with her writing and pulls you right in. This can be read as a standalone. If you are looking for a good read, 1-click and get started today. I look forward to reading more from this series and author.

If you are looking for a sweet and sometimes steamy romantic comedy, full of mystery and fun, then this book is for
you.

Tropical Date by R. S. Jonesee, continues the Postscript Island series with the story of Marissa, the painter who is following her dream of opening her own art gallery and Weston, who happens to be Marissa's ex, the condom company owner who is coming back home to help his mother. Will the two of them be able to rekindle an old flame while solving a Postscript island mystery?

This book was such a fun read! The characters were funny, full of wit and really entertaining. The story had an easy flow that kept you turning the pages while keeping you intrigued with the mystery and blushing from the romance.

Grab a frozen drink and lounge on the beach with this one.

Happy Reading!

Five Years ago, after a pregnancy scare that ended his relationship with his high school sweetheart, Marissa, Weston left his hometown of Postscript Island for college and refused to go back. Now that his mom has suddenly been offered a substantial offer to buy out her shop in town and needs his advice, he goes back and must face his past in hopes of creating a future with Marissa.

Marissa is afraid to trust herself or Weston after their past, and struggles to move past her own pain and fear, until she realizes that things on the Island aren’t adding up and people she thinks she knows and can trust aren’t who they seem to be.

This book is a guaranteed happily ever after set on a beautiful island.

I was only going to 'just start' this book yesterday, but a couple hours went by and I was finished. This book allows the reader to escape to a beautiful island filled with incredible characters. We follow self made billionaire, Weston, as he returns home to Postscript Island and has a no so warm welcome from his former love Marissa. Although Marissa does her best to avoid Weston, mysterious offers to buy the local businesses has her seeking his help as his arrival was to help his mom's similar offer. I loved the chemistry between the main characters, but my favorite character was by far Marissa's dad. I appreciate that the author gives each character a personality for the reader to grasp onto. Good book, couldn't put it down and definitely recommend.

When Weston left his hometown, he left behind his best friend, Marissa, who he had been dating. Now, five years later he has returned to help his mom with a business proposal. Marissa has moved on and has another boyfriend and does not want to see him. Weston wants to rekindle old feelings. When they end up locked in a room together, feelings can't be denied.
Opinion
This is a great best friends, rekindling book. I loved that Weston came to rescue his mom and the town. The story has a few cliche parts (like being locked in a room together) but it flows nicely and has a great appeal. This book is perfect for those looking for a getaway on a budget. Reading about the tropical area put me in a happy mood.

Marissa and Weston have been best friends since kindergarten, and fell in love. Five years ago, unexpected news rattled them and they broke up. Weston left the island they lived on and hadn’t returned to visit. That changes when his mom asks for his help. Their first time seeing each other… does not go well.

Marissa and Weston have obvious chemistry. I liked Weston and Marissa, though both seemed a bit naive to me. The entire cast of characters is interesting, but a few things fell flat. The story is a bit predictable, and some of the characters were odd and not quite realistic - like Weston’s staff’s over-the-top insistence on putting slippers on Marissa or feeding her. That being said, I enjoyed the story and there were many parts that were funny. It is the perfect beach read.

This was one of the best books I have read in a while. Very well written with an attention-grabbing plot. While you think you have figured out what will happen the author throws little curveballs that make the book hard to put down.

This book follows the story of Weston and Marissa. Weston is from a small island but left when he was eighteen and had not been back in years. Made a name for himself and a very successful business. Back on the small island, he left is Marissa the girl he never could forget.

What happens when the boy who left returns to the place that has the power to destroy him? What happens when old friends reunite to find out a lot has changed? Are second chances at happiness real or just an island myth? Read this book to find out.

This book was an incredible romcom! Sometimes the humor was subtle and sometimes it was overt. I mean, really, a condom making company? How could you NOT find the humor in that? Weston is at the heart of that business.
Marissa, his first, true love has aspirations of owning her own art gallery and they are about to come true. Marissa has never forgotten Weston, even though she has the perfect boyfriend now.
This book had some mystery to it along with all the other facets. I have not read the first book in the series so it can be read independently, however I am going back to read it because I enjoyed this one so much!
I am voluntarily leaving this review.

Oh my heavens, this is quite an entertaining romantic comedy. Winston and Marissa are a couple that grew up together and dated. They broke up and ended up together again, due to circumstances beyond their control. Winston has come home again to help his mom. Marissa is in a tizzy thinking it’s all about her. The adventures are many. They help solve a mystery. I love the humor in this. I love a good romcom. The humor, romance and a touch of mystery make the plot very entertaining. I found myself intrigued and wanting to keep reading. I loved the characters and how relatable they are. What a fun story. I will be looking for more from this author.

This book was a phenomenal romantic comedy that I didn’t want to end. And it’s a perfect summer read by the pool or ocean. I wasn’t sure what to expect as this is an author I’ve never read before, but I will certainly be looking into her other books now. If they are anything like this one they will be fabulous. I laughed so hard at the sarcasm throughout this book. I loved that the main business is a condom manufacturer. I’ve never read a book with that type of business, and it just made for even more laughs and witty innuendos. I highly recommend this book if you want to laugh your behind off. You will not be disappointed.

Every though this is the 3rd book in the series it can be read as a stand alone.

What an adorable romcom. Marissa is a painter about to embark on opening her gallery and Weston is a billionaire condominium manufacturer (yes there is plenty of jokes in the book!) who comes home to help his mom sell her shop. Of course something seems shady so Westin sticks around to investigate, which means he’s gets to be close to Marissa for a little bit longer. They have a trouble past but working towards the common goal of figure out who is wanting to buy up all the shops on the island will help them figure some things out!

Super cute read!

Marissa Sinclair is the daughter of the owners of the P.S. Resort. Weston Stambro is the son of another store owner in town. These two grew up being best friends all through their childhood. Marissa is now an art gallery owner, while Weston runs his billion dollar condom company. When someone starts wanting to buy up everyone's property on Postscript Island, Weston and Marissa put their current differences aside to work on this mystery. Will these two be able to save their town and Will these two be able to see through their high school drama and give themselves a second chance at something they’ve already messed up once.
