Enzo eiste me op.

Hmmm.... I got tired by all that drama. Yes the story is still continuing for Enzo and Kia. And this series have 5 or 6 books. I think 3 books is enough to conclude the story.
The game to take over the Black empire turns like TV tournament to get more rating. I was let down by Miss Miles downplayed the whole suspense. It is a very disappointing after a good start.
Ella Miles, you are the best! The books in this series keep getting better and better! I am a bit emotional after this one. I don't think I have ever pulled for a couple more than I do for Enzo and Kai. I love that you get to see a whole other side of Enzo, a softer side. Kai is so strong but I am not sure she will be able to come back after this. My heart breaks for her. I need Possessed by Lies now!!
I received an advanced copy from the author in exchange for my honest opinion.
Enzo & Kai's story continues... This part was an emotional one for me. Can't wait for more. I'm voluntarily leaving an honest review for a free copy of the book via booksprout.
I was afraid book number 4 would be flat. I mean come on, how could the fourth book keep the fire from the past three books burning? Well I was afraid for no reason! Book 4 is just as awesome as book 1-2-3! I cannot wait to read the last 2 !!

This series is getting darker with every book and I'm loving how much I hate it!!
This series is dark, twisted, emotional and I can't get enough. This is book four in the Truth or Lies series and it ends on a twisted, haunting cliffhanger. Please be sure to read; Lured by Lies (Book 0), Taken by Lies (Book 1), Betrayed by Truths (Book 2) and Trapped by Lies (Book 3) before reading this book.
For Enzo and Kai it's a never ending battle to become the leader of the Black empire. Their constant battle only seems to bring them closer to each other, but some truths were never meant to be heard. Once the fog clears from the latest battle, who will be left standing? Will there be any love left worth fighting for? Or will Kai have to find strength in loving someone other than Enzo? Can she love someone else? Will Enzo survive without Kai? All these questions, but will there be answers? Do we want to hear those answers? This series is a twisted, jacked up, emotional mess and I'm so looking forward to reading the rest to Kai and Enzo's story!! This series is definitely heaven for all dark romance lovers out there!!! I highly recommend it and can't wait for book five!

My mind is officially blown...... This book will keep you on the edge and when you think everything is gonna be alright the story's climax will come out of nowhere and hit you like a truck and leave you to die in wait for the next book
Ella Miles is a great author. You feel for Kai, as she is tortured by Milo. Enzo and Kai continue to love one another. Truths keep them apart. Good book, well written!

This was a good read. I will admit that their story is heartbreaking. The future that Kai and Enzo have is terrible. They love each other. However, because of their families and these games they have to go through so much. We have two more books to go and I really hope they get a happy ending.
Angsty Twists And Turns Continue In Book Four Of Enzo and Kai’s Story! Their Circumstances Grow Dire As Milo’s Threats Lead To Their Separation.
This is book four of six in the Truth or Lies series. Each book reads like a roller coaster, with unexpected gut-clenching twists and turns. Enzo and Kai both grew up in a brutal world, but one was raised in luxury and the other in extreme poverty. They have an undeniable connection, but every time they cross paths or begin to drop their defenses, something seems to pull them apart. There are many questions and many lies, but answers do come with patience. The books are best read back to back since the plot is very complex. This review attempts to summarize earlier books as a refresher for readers that didn’t just finish the prior book in the series.
From book one:
The myth that surrounds the Black name in Miami and beyond is legendary, demanding both fear and respect. Mr. Black rules Miami, where he runs Surrender, an invitation only club where deals are made by the high-powered members of the underground that frequent it. Mr. Black also runs many other clubs in Miami, has a fleet of yachts that he deals with, and runs a security firm. The fleet gives him access to the lawless waters of the ocean as well as the world beyond Miami.
Enzo Black, seventeen, drinks to numb the memories that haunt him. He grew up in comfort and has more money than he will ever need, but his life has not been easy. As the son of Mr. Black, he knows he has an image to maintain. There is no room for feelings for someone like him. He has blood on his hands. His father has trained him in the family business for years, expecting that Enzo might one day take over. His second hands happen to be his two best friends, Langston and Zeke. They all grew up together, so having his trusted friends at his side in a dark world dominated by hardened criminals provides a welcome level of comfort. Langston is more brain, while Zeke is more brawn. But both are loyal. They are family.
Katherine Miller, sixteen, hasn’t’ been to school in weeks, choosing to work and steal instead. Food on the table and rent for the trailer she shares with her father rank higher on her list of priorities. First on the list, however, is paying off her father’s debt. She loves her father despite the lack of warmth in their relationship. She remains loyal, even though they’ve had growing pains. Kai’s mother died from cancer when she was small, leaving Kai's father with medical expenses in the millions. The debt collectors have to be paid, and some are shady. Kai knows one day she will have to pay with her body, but she works to delay that inevitability as long as possible by stealing.
When Enzo and Kai meet by chance, they both feel electrified. Enzo’s feelings come to life despite himself, and Kai has never been so attracted to a boy before. But when they meet again, it is not by chance. Enzo has a job to do, and Kai is his job. Kai has questions, but he doesn’t seem to have answers. He promises to let her leave town, but in a cruel twist of fate Kai is taken and sold to a cruel man named Jarod. Years later Kai is back and she wants answers. Enzo has answers now, but doesn’t want Kai to know them. They play a game of Truth or Lies but Kai loses. Instead of getting her answers, Enzo now owns her. He keeps her and sees to her health, but his trickery isn’t over. The two play a series of games as a means to get answers that neither willingly wants to share.
Just when Kai begins to recover her strength and the pair begins to bond, her whole world is turned upside down. She learns what Enzo meant when he said becoming the next Mr. Black is earned, and he confesses he didn’t actually earn it because he let her live six year ago. The next Mr. Black will earn his or her place according to the rules set forth by the last two to compete for the title: their fathers. The Rinaldi and Miller families have competed for the title for generations. As only children, Enzo and Kai must compete, since it is now known that she is not dead. There will be five competitions, each with a clear winner. Three out of five wins the title. Outside of the rules, there are no rules. It is a dangerous game, meant to flush out the weakest and leave the strongest to run the empire until the next generation of Rinaldis and Millers comes along.
In book two:
Enzo, twenty-four, and Kai, twenty-three, must run Mr. Black’s empire together until a winner is determined. Enzo has run it as Mr. Black for three years already, and though Kai has great street smarts and is quite capable of standing up for herself, she lacks experience as a leader. When things get personal, the two clash professionally. Kai uses her equal footing with Enzo to hurt him, but it comes with a price. When the first round of the game begins, they had reached a tentative peace, but winning comes at a price as well, as Kai learns.
Heartbroken by Kai's betrayal, as evidenced by the rumors that damage his reputation in the underworld, and not denied by Kai herself later, Enzo loses his careful composure and does the unthinkable. He arranges to sell her to Milo Wallace. Another round of Truths, though, has him and Kai both spiraling out of control and the entire team scrambling. Kai had only been in hiding to heal from the beating she got from Miles when she secured his ring, and Enzo admits it had been her father, not him, that sold her years ago. The book ends in a shattering cliffhanger with yet another wicked turn at the end.
In book three:
An alliance is formed with Rowan Evan who rescues Kai from Milo Wallace, but a war is simmering. Enzo, Kai, Langston and Zeke board the Savage and head out to sea to keep their whereabouts unknown and to buy time. Liesel Dunn, Enzo’s friend from his teen years, is forced to join them due to her role in the first game - as Enzo's date. Liesel makes no secret of her feelings for Enzo, and he doesn't do quite enough put her in her place. He still considers Liesel his “everything." Her history with Enzo presents both a challenge and an opportunity for Kai. Some relationships blossom in such close quarters, but people also begin to grow antsy.
The truths unveiled before departure leave Kai and Enzo damaged. Kai deals with the fact that both her father and Enzo sold her as well as the many lies she grew up with. Enzo struggles with his guilt and his determination to make things right with Kai. He grows emotionally during this time, but still needs work. He wavers between needing Kai forever and sending her away from Black for her own good at the first opportunity. A second game takes place aboard ship, but Zeke and Liesel get pulled into it. Kai’s relationship with Zeke is strengthened as a result, but Enzo damages his with Liesel, whom he no longer considers his everything. Enzo wins, tying the game. The war must take place before they can all return home. Blood spills in this heartbreaking battle. Zeke is shot protecting Kai, then his body washes overboard in a storm. Milo may or may not have drowned at sea. But Milo can be replaced, and he had already organized Black’s enemies for a battle that Black isn’t ready to wage. Enzo and Kai both make foolish and out of character choices in their attempts to make a deal with Milo, which conveniently lead to another cliffhanger as readers wait to see who Milo chooses to take captive.
In book four:
Enzo willingly surrenders to Milo, ready to win the title and hand the empire, and his life, over to Milo in exchange for a promise to leave Kai alone. Kai and Langston are devastated when their attempts to locate him fail. Liesel shows up and scolds them into action. She agrees with Kai that Enzo should have stayed behind to run the empire and works with Kai to ensure his return. At Surrender, Kai discovers that Enzo has been quietly doing good in the world in addition to running the underworld, cementing her belief that he must return. The third game brings them together again at Surrender, several weeks later. The competition is brutal. Kai takes advantage of Enzo’s injuries and convinces Milo to take her instead. Once Enzo is well enough to realize she is gone, he sets to work on a plan to rescue Kai. Meanwhile, Milo's devastating story is shared with her. The story takes a sad twist and ends with great uncertainty about the future.
A few issues merit mention. First, that Kai and Langston just gave up following Enzo’s disappearance felt out of character. Second, the idea that either Enzo or Kai must surrender to Milo never felt authentic, so Kai switching places with Enzo rather than the two simply choosing to remain together in Miami or anywhere else also feels inauthentic. Third, despite the trauma, Kai’s reaction and decision at he end of the book feel out of character. She had learned about the good Enzo does and already understood that he needed compassion and healing for killing his mother as directed by his father. Nothing seems to have changed that. He was raised by a monster but didn't turn out like his father.
Enzo and Kai’s relationship is tested in this book. They are separated by circumstances, yet Enzo continues to grow emotionally. Kai, however, feels weaker without him at her side. Liesel’s influence grows stronger, and though it was needed, it should still be scrutinized. Kai also allows Milo to influence her thinking, giving her misplaced doubt. Both Enzo and Kai are determined to do what is best for the other, even if it means an end for them.
Enzo and Kai’s story continues the angsty twists and turns in book four of the series. Their circumstances grow dire as Milo’s threats lead to their separation. The story is nicely written. It is plot-driven, with heartbreaking curveballs that sock you in the gut. The characters are well-developed. The story is written in first person. The POV alternates between Enzo and Kai. I rate this book four stars.
I received a free advance copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
3.5 Stars. While the overall storyline, plot and characters of the Truth or Lies series are good and engaging, I’m really struggling to remain interested as this 6 book series progresses. Honestly, I feel that I’m reading so much extra content that isn’t necessary to the story that I’ve found myself skimming and skipping through sections of this and the last book. Having already read 4 of the 6 books, I’m invested enough in the series to want to read the remaining books but feel that the series could probably be condensed down to 3 or 4 books. In my opinion, doing so would better keep the reader’s interest while eliminating the unnecessary sections that make the series flounder.
This is the fourth book and the twists getting more twisted, the darkness getting darker. This game of lies and truths getting more crazier and I love this series more and more and totally dying to find out how this series going to end, how Kai and End I will survive this ugliness and that cliffhanger..omg...I really need the next book ASAP. It's another unputdownable book from Ella Miles, a dark romance that's so captivating that I can't stop from the first chapter, there's something that I think was unnecessary kinda bit out of place and context for me, but other than that, I love everything, everything is just so intense and more steamy.
If dark romance is your cup of tea, this series is definitely for you.
* If you haven't read the other books in this dark and twisted tale of Truth or Lies, stop reading this and start reading them. This really isn't a standalone, you'll be lost and be missing out on the beginning of a great story...and what a completely twisted story this installment has turned out to be. Whoa!
Kai and Enzo are trying once again to protect each other from the scheming, violent Milo. Truth or lie? He gets a thrill from hurting women and has no qualms about torturing them, so why would Kai try to get him to take her as a hostage instead of Enzo? What an evil, nasty tormentor Milo is. You have to wonder, what in his past life could have made him this way? You'll know by the end of this book and you'll say- what the....!!!
Kai has been hiding her love for Enzo and now that she admits these feelings to herself, Enzo doesn't seem to love her back. Kai thinks she is the only one in love in this relationship. Is she? What will the Truth or lie be?
Battered and broken, torn apart from each other, the third part of the 'game' is coming but what price will Enzo and Kai pay this time? Will they end up bloody, beaten, bruised..dead?? They will try again to win this competition that is so sick and hard to watch, for the sake of the other. Truth or lie?
At the end of this part of the competition, who will end up as Milo's pawn in the game HE wants to win as he tries to maneuver himself into a position to take over as the ultimate leader in the Black Organization...Enzo or Kai? There is something Milo is hiding that could change everything...truth or lie???
The ending was another cliffhanger, what..you didn't think so? Truth or lie..this series has 2 more installments coming until the conclusion in August...TRUTH...sooooo, if you haven't read the previous books in this series, start now!!! If you love a dark, mafia style romance with suspense, steam and crazy plots, this could be your kind of series. It sure is mine! Ella Miles knows how to keep you guessing and I'm so looking forward to the next part of Kai and Enzo's wild ride!
An advanced copy was provided and happily received. This is my honest review of it.
This series has gone completely off the rails in the best way. That ending?! What?!
Okay, so I HATE when authors say "this can't happen" and then it does. It's a huge pet peeve of mine. It's not a plot twist, or a surprise, it's a lie. And I can't stand when they set something up as a blatant lie for no other reason than playing with the reader's emotions. That's exactly what happened in this book. And it wasn't even well done foreshadowing. It was like, "Science said 100% this can't happen," just for it to happen with no explanation or anything. Just some miracle I guess. And out of allllllll the plethora of miracles this series could have, this is the one miracle it gets. It seems too easy. It's lazy. All that being said, I stand by the idea that a book doesn't have to be good, or well written, to be enjoyable, and this book was enjoyable. It has become so far fetched and dramatic that I rolled my eyes more times than I could count. But I also cried, gasped, paused the book to just completely dissociate, and I laughed. This dramatic ass book has turned me into a dramatic ass reader. At the beginning we have both Enzo and Kai trying to trade themselves to Milo to save the other one. Why they couldn't just sit down, communicate, and formulate a plan they could both be a part of is beyond me. Hell, neither one of them seem to know what they even want long term, so what's the freaking point? One minute Kai wants nothing to do with being Black, the next minute she wants to be some bad ass Valkyrie, using the Black job title to save abused women left and right. Enzo seems ready to walk away from it all because he believes Kai is stronger than him and could do a better job, just to decide nOoOoOoOo he has to fight for and win the title of Mr. Black to keep Kai safe. Like how? How is that going to keep her safe? There are so many "lines" being thrown out about loving each other and keeping the other one safe, but no real fleshing out of what any of that looks like. The entire plot at this point is vague and abstract, and secretly I love it. Shhhh, don't tell anyone. So they're both trying to get Milo to take them, Enzo succeeds, and Kai goes into a depression with Langston instead of, oh, I don't know, making a freaking plan...? 🤷🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ It takes freaking Liesel to set everyone straight, and as much as I don't like her, she seems the most competent to run everything at this point; above Enzo and Kai. Well, they can't seem to get a plan together so they just have to wait until the third challenge, which is literally just torture. And each contestant gets to choose who tortures the other one. Kai does Enzo a solid and chooses Langston as his torturer. Enzo chooses Milo for Kai? Tha fuk? Why not choose Liesel? You don't want her to be hurt, but you choose the most sadistic person in the room? Make it make sense. Anyway, Kai loses because she surrenders to Enzo after Langston stabs his jugular, but only after Milo gets the beat the crap out of her with a hammer. Just stupidity across the board if you ask me, but since nobody did, I'll move on. But while Enzo is recovering from his neck wound Kai trades herself to Milo in Enzo's place. I swear, for how smart some of these people are at times, they can't see three feet in front of them at other times. Everything is shallow and face value for them, Milo couldn't POSSIBLY have a bigger scheme in place, noooo... *Eye roll* So she goes back to Italy with Milo where she meets Felix, who was on his way to befriending Enzo while he was there, so he has some insight to who Kai is when she arrives. But right off the bat, Kai is all like "his touch isn't right, it makes me feel weird, not bad, can't pinpoint it..." So we immediately are thrown for a loop because we thought he was cool people when Enzo was there, but suddenly we are given a huge red flag not to trust him because Kai's spidey senses are tingling. I instantly don't trust him. And I'm right. I suspected he was Milo's second in command off the rip, but that whole situation solidified it. The author wasn't as slick as she'd made herself out to be, because that wasn't foreshadowing, that was just giving it away. So everything moves entirely too fast from thos point forward. Felix is showing Kai how to get Enzo in (don't trust it), then he just leaves her outside (?), only for Milo to show up and suddenly he's raping her? I don't follow any of it at thos point. Then out of nowhere Enzo is coming in, guns blazing, but he doesn't seem to find Kai in time?🤷🏼♀️ And now she's killed Milo after he dropped the bomb that he, Enzo, and Felix are brothers. But somehow between the raping and the story telling, Milo "stole Kai's love" because of a story about how Enzo killed Milo's twin brother when they were teenagers and their dad made him. Did Kai suddenly FORGET everything Enzo's dad made him do before all of this? Like how is this any worse than what his dad made him do to his mom? I don't understand how this one detail is enough to take Kai's love from Enzo. It doesn't track. But Enzo sweeps her up, takes her to a yacht, where she ignores everyone and everything for a month solid. No one thinks to call in a mental health specialist, just a medical professional who says "give her time." 🤔 But Liesel does the unthinkable and somehow (again, unclear) breaks through to Kai. They play a game of Truth and Lies, and it's uncovered both of them get to celebrate mother's day now. But are either of them Enzo's baby mama? I guess we'll find out in the next book. $5 says they both are, or only Liesel's is, and now Enzo has a heir and can win the games, but so can Kai...? It's a huge cluster at this point. Would I recommend? Sure, yeah, enough typing, I have to get into the next book.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
This is the 4th book in Enzo and Kai’s story and what an agonizing and heart wrenching story it is. Both are willing to sacrifice themselves so the other may live, but what is living without the person you love? More secrets are revealed about the history of Enzo’s family and Milo still plans to destroy the Black; will he succeed? Will Enzo and Kai be able to survive the torture in store for them both in body and in mind or will it tear them apart. I loved this read! The story has twists and turns that leave you shocked and heart broken. A definite emotional roller coaster. Can’t wait for more!!!!
This is that series that you can't wait for the next book but you never want it to end! Ella Miles what are you doing to me? My heart is in my throat, my pulse is pounding and my head is spinning! Just when you think this series can't get any better, I'd just does! I devoured this book! Kai and Enzo have stolen my heart and captivated my mind. I love these two. I love their strength, their loyalty, their blinding love for each other. Everything about them is exquisitely broken yet oh, so perfect!
This series is amazing with its well developed and engaging characters that take you on a roller coaster ride. I have been reading from the beginning and can honestly say Ella Miles knows how to write interesting storylines with plenty of chemistry and drama. With each addition to the series it just keeps getting better and better.

TRUTHS FINALLY HURT MORE THAN LIES … only time will tell if Kai and Enzo can survive it
I have been rabidly reading this series since the beginning, and have gotten increasingly worked up over all the curveballs that have been thrown at our plucky lovers. This 4th book in the saga of Kai and Enzo’s love and competition for control of the Black Empire has reached new, torturous heights … literally and figuratively. It not only left me speechless, but horrified by the cruel atrocities, sacrifices, and multiple separations that befall them as the game-tied competition continues. This time, Kai and Enzo have been brought to the pinnacle of their adventure together, and I only hope they can recover. It’s hard to say much of anything without giving everything away … There is just SO MUCH MORE of everything in this book – more truths and lies, more torture and heartache, more revelations about characters, more complications, and NEW characters …but most of all, a scary uncertainty about how the game will finally end and who the winner will be.
The story begins with Enzo trying to fix his big mistake of selling Kai to Milo and suffering the fallout of this reactionary misdeed based on unfounded, jealous assumptions. How that shakes out is absolutely mindboggling, as each one wants to sacrifice for the other’s protection in and beyond the competition. It’s incomprehensible how a single mistake can snowball into such an ill-fated, worsening mess. I had to take breaks from reading what was happening to them and how in the world they would ever survive and get past it all. The kinetic levels of this book were off the charts and nearly gave me a stroke. I confess that I wimped out on some torture scenes in the competition, and realized that I don’t have an ounce of the physical and emotional stamina of this couple.
There were some freshly intriguing, eye-opening moments that came out in bickering, sexual tension that surfaces between Langston and Liesel (who knew!). Definitely a new development as “something hot” is brewing between them. And shocker of shockers, there are new villains! Friendship, loyalty and love are all tested to the max with shifting captives, worry over dangerous Milo, and constant surprises that just kept coming, especially in the mind-blowing cliffy. I didn’t know an author could have so many tricks up her sleeve, and didn't see all that coming. I stared at “the end” for long moments after I finished reading. The revelations were astounding. Will Kai and Enzo survive all that has been thrown at them? Only time will tell in the predictably combustible, final two books. I’ll need this small break before book 5 to restart my heart.
STOLEN BY TRUTHS… truths…. exactly what truths are we talking about? And when these truths come out, will anyone be left to survive? Will the revelation of these truths bring about healing … or will they separate, tear apart and bring about more ruin, more pain? Will these truths need to be dealt with in order for real healing to begin? Or are those truths so dark, so twisted that they need to stay hidden?
Ahhh, Kai … she knows what sacrifice is and is willing to let herself be used for the endgame. She’s smart, so very smart…. yet at times she’s so very dumb. What a contradiction she is. But one that knows how to WIN… especially when it comes to protecting those she loves.
She knows pain. She knows betrayal. She knows torture. She knows heartbreak. And she took them head on and defeated them all. Now her target is Milo. Poor, poor Milo. He won’t know what hit him when Kai is done. You see, Kai is on a mission and she won’t be derailed. Her subterfuge will be from within the very castle Milo has built. His stalwart walls surrounding his domain are not tall enough, not thick enough, not strong enough to stop Kai from knocking them down….. Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall. All the kings horses and all the kings men, couldn’t put Humpty Dumpty black together again.
Kai set out to save Enzo. Her target is Milo. But will the truths Milo reveals change everything? Can Enzo get Kai off that wall before Humpty Dumpty falls, taking her with him? Can Enzo save Kai? Can he save their future … even a future he knows nothing about?
And what about Felix? Is he the good guy or the bad guy? Time will tell. I’m anxiously awaiting for the next book, ‘Possessed by Lies’. Answers are needed.
Grippingly, suspenseful and emotionally eviscerating Stolen by Truths (Truth or Lies Book 4) by Ella Miles is truly diabolically written. This author has once again thoroughly enthralled me with her compelling and emotionally evocative story telling. This gripping saga of Enzo and Kai is so twisted, tortured and emotionally encompassing that I was unable to put this book down unless absolutely necessary. I am truly in a love-hate relationship with this series! I love it because the characters are so engaging and yet I hate the paths, trials and emotional devastation that they must endure. It’s because of the characters (and the great storytelling of this author) that I just can’t help wanting/needing to know what happens next. I’m really excited about the bits and pieces that is continued to be revealed about the characters as well as the plot, but these clues in no way give away the plot twists to come, I am always surprised, shocked, dismayed or cheering the characters on. Overall, exceptional writing with fantastic characters, a continued plot that does not get stale or stagnate and plenty of feels to keep the reader coming back for more. I read an ARC form Booksprout and voluntarily share my review.
If this series was a bottle of alcohol...I would be drunk as h***! because this book was truly entwined with wicked twists and curves that spins so tight , it will give you whiplash !!!! The author pulled out the big guns and fired straight from her secret weapons of mast destruction in this story. Milo motive is to obtain the Black organization for himself as he is utilizing every manipulative trick to torturing Kai and Enzo. He is the epitome of satan reincarnated to kill, steal and destroy. Milo secrets is deeper than expected as he revealed it to Kai. The games creator is their psychopaths father but the offspring is the one suffering the consequences of their devastating creation. The third part is getting closer for Enzo and Kai but what are they willing to part with? Are they willing to give up their life for each other in this competition? What is the hidden attraction between Langston and Liesel? Another question is Felix, a friend or foe...I guess we'll have to wait and see. The author always come up with new and ingenious ideas or ways to keep her readers engaged and I’m looking forward to the next twisted events in this series. ******I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and voluntarily leaving an honest review******
As the games continue for the Black empire, but who will surrender first...Milo, Kai or Enzo? Enzo wants to protect those he loves the most, his father said it was a weakness that no leader should possess, but can he hide his feelings for Kai in the face of so much danger? Kai wants to protect Enzo, Enzo wants to protect Kai and they are both willing to die for each other? But who is looking out for the Black empire? Who's monster will win?
Both Kai and Enzo are ready for the games to be over, and they are broken, beaten up and on the brink. But will they both survive? Truth or lie...who will Milo damage the most? What will Milo finally reveal? Can Kai and Enzo both survive Milo and his tricks, lies and truths?
This story continues to have so much of Enzo and Kai revealed and so much more we have yet to learn. So much is revealed and yet so much is still a mystery. There are some triggers, so be warned. This has so much darkness, steamy love, lust, romance, mystery, tragedy, suspense and so much more. Hang on tight, the ride is almost over. I can't wait for the next book. What happens to Langston and Liesel? This ends in a cliffhanger you will want to read the next book!!! I received an ARC of this book from the author.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "STOLEN BY TRUTHS" WOW!!!! This was a full of intense dark twisted brutal situations, intrigue, suspense, secrets, lies, deceit, rape, abuse, twists that you don't see coming. Enzo was taken by Milo until the next game to protect Kai he was badly beaten and wounded he made friends with one of the guards Felix they saved a woman from being taken my Milo. Kai and Enzo had to compete in another game and this was one brutal test of strength and stamina what they had to do was just unbelievable both so badly wounded and left alone with Milo, Kai talked him into taking her back to Italy instead of Enzo. Kai made friends with Felix one of Milo's is guards tbe same one to befriend Enzo but she felt a weird vibe from him not sure she could totally trust him. This was such a heartwrenching storyline what both Kai and Enzo had to endure will they survive everything that happens and there are some pretty surprising secrets that come to light after Kai traumatic rape from Milo and what he tells her you won't believe it what a shock. I definitely recommend to get this phenominal dark series so addicting I can't wait for the next book "POSSESSED BY LIES"

Fantastic continuation.................but I want the next books!!!.
Okay so Stolen by Truths, book 4 in the Truth or Lies series is Flipp'n Fantastic!!!! I am so in love with this series that I can barely wait for the next book to come out.
Ella Miles has once again woven a mesmerizing story with so many twists and turns I am all upside down and back around. There are so many "truth or lies" in this story that it is hard to know who is actually doing what and for what reason. Kai, Enzo and Milo are all caught up in an intricate, evil and deadly dangerous game of cat and mouse with each other. Kai and Enzo are trying to keep each other safe against Milo. But can they actually protect each other or will they still just be pawns in Milo's games? As with the previous books in this series Stolen by Truths ends on another cliffhanger that has you swiping your Kindle trying to find the rest of the story.
I received a free ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. My opinions are all my own.
Oh what a ride this book took me on - I absolutely love this series. Ella Miles sure knows how to write a story - and boy do I hate cliffhangers, but that won't stop me from waiting and yearning for the next in the series.
Enzo and Kai are certainly in a pickle this time, what kind of weird sadistic Father's did they have, crazy, lunatic, non-loving -> that's for sure; win the games and the title of 'Black' at all costs, no matter the pain inflicted - physical or emotional, WOW just WOW!
They want to save each other - Kai has admitted her love to Enzo, but he just can't get the words out, he hopes she know by this actions, she does. Enter Milo, an even more sadistic jerk - he inflicts pain and emotional suffering and really enjoys it. What he does to Kai is horrible, she suffers in silence, she must save Enzo - she does, and he saves her in return.
That's not the end of the story - ugh cliffhangers!!!
This is the fourth book in the Truth of Lies series, and the continuation of Enzo, and Kai's twisted love story. I finished reading this book, and I felt such despair, Enzo, and Kai have been through so much in their lives, and life just doesn't seem to be giving them any breaks. They love each other so much, neither one wants the other to sacrifice themselves for the other, but they do ,regularly leaving one or the other in a dangerous situations. I felt so many emotions reading this book, anger, sadness, worry, heartbreak, hopelessness, and surprise, especially at the end. The book had me on the edge of my seat, the entire time, an I will be climbing the walls until I get to read the next book in the series. This book, and series, are definitely worth the read, and I highly recommend them. 4.5 STARS
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Wow Wow Wow this series just gets better and better with each book and is so addictive right from the first page. I laughed, cried and got so angry with everything that they were going through. Enzo and Kai still have incredible chemistry and a strong connection between them but will it be enough when the troubles really start and will they ever get a happy ending. Ella you are an incredible author and writer you take your readers into the story right from the start. This is the type of book that has you turning the page's to see what will happen next. There is heartbreak, sadness emotional and physical pain and constant danger for everyone. Ella you are my Hero and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series. I definitely recommend you read this book and series and you will not be disappointed. I Voluntarily Reviewed an ARC Copy Of This Book.
Excellent series. You will not be able to put it down once you start reading it. Oh my gosh. I thought this was going to be the final book. I don’t know how much more of this I can take. These books are so insanely intense, diabolically written, with drama that will literally break your heart, and love that will make you think you can survive anything. Enzo and Kai have been through the ringer and back again so many times, you wonder if they are ever going to come out on the other side whole or just as shells of each other. This book will have your heart pumping so quickly, it will be hard to calm down. You will not be able to put it down once you start reading it. An intense series.
This is book four in the Truth or Lies series and it is not a standalone. However, you have not started this series, it is well worth the time and effort. In my opinion, this is a strong series and there is so much to learn in order to understand Kai and Enzo both as individuals and as a couple. This roller coaster is still running full steam ahead with a few new twists and turns in this book. Another well written, exciting and enjoyable read in the series, the characters expose a couple extra layers as well in this story segment. I love these two so much, they make you feel right along with them. The cliffhanger ending in this book left me reeling, I cannot wait for the next book and more Kai and Enzo!
And the depravity continues... The dental extraction scene did make me laugh (sick I know) with the mention of a front tooth. It would have been quite funny imo! The challenges were beyond insane and twisted. Both fathers should be in an insane asylum to think up all these horrific trials. Seriously sociopathic! The "truths" Milo told Kai at the end of the story are mind boggling. This is just a glimpse of how maniacally evil Enzo's dad was. Milo leaves a lasting and devastating impression with Kai, by his words and actions. How is this all possible?? On to the next book for more questions than answers!!?? I'm in limbo!
