A warrior losing his faith. A not quite love from summer’s past. A second chance at love that might soothe the broken parts in both of them. ★★★★★ From kindle all-star and USA Today author, Taylor Hart! The South Port Beach Series! Trent Stone, Navy SEAL, won’t give up his obsession with finding the conquistador gold. He's going to crack the cipher. He doesn’t care if it’s the week of Christmas, he doesn’t care if his siblings think he’s crazy, and he really doesn’t care if his twin thinks he needs to relax. He’s NOT relaxing. Okay, maybe he’ll relax a little bit and go on a date with a girl who interrupts his warrior chanting. Not because she’s beautiful or he discovers she left him a note the day before she moved when they were sixteen. Only because he needs to eat. Having dinner with someone doesn’t mean he's RELAXING, he's not! Liberty Grey doesn’t want to be in South Port. She doesn’t want to sell the house she inherited from her grandmother and she really doesn’t want to run into the jerk guy who unknowingly broke her heart twelve years ago. Not THAT big of a heart break. She's had plenty of other things that really broke her heart in the past two years that the teenage stuff seems silly. But it takes her by surprise when he asks her to dinner. She tells him no. She couldn't. It's too soon. Plus, she doesn’t date. Even though her therapist told her she needs to open her heart again, she can't. Especially not to a guy like Trent Stone. No way. Pfft. Okay, maybe she noticed he's built and kind of hot with his SEAL attitude of 'kicking down doors and taking no prisoners' but ... she can't. When a chance meeting awakens memories neither of them expected, they find themselves—not just kissing in the library, but messing things up so badly that they one of his father's journals breaks ... and a trail of Polaroid’s fall out. Polaroids that just might be the clues to deciphering the numbers on the treasure map his parents left behind. When Liberty insists on helping him figure it all out, they never would have imagined the fun, the danger, or the love they might fall into. Will they find the gold so many have searched for? As these six Stone siblings find a way back to each other, they must learn to let go of what doesn’t matter and cling to the things their parents always wanted for them--family, love, and fun memories on the beach.

A note from the author:
Thanks for visiting my Goodreads page.
I wanted to tell something meaningful about myself, but let's start with the important stuff--I love swoon-worthy heroes. The kind of heroes that are strong and would take a bullet for you, but also want to open your door and listen to you pour out your heart.
What else? I grew up moving. If you’ve read my books, you won’t be surprised by this. I have a lot of moving themes through my books centered around characters experiencing pain from someone moving.
It was hard. But, I believe there’s always a seed of good that comes out of everything hard, so I think the best thing that came from it was that I learned to love books.
And I had to learn a lot of mad skills on friend making. It gave me a love of people…good people, compassionate people. Interesting people of all kinds.
What else about me? I am a mother and wife! I have four amazing boys that are like little ninjas running around. I love them so much and I’m so grateful for my amazing husband who doesn’t get intimidated by all the billionaire men in my life.
I have a fierce love of my Savior, Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for Him and for the healing and forgiveness I’ve gotten to experience in my life. This is a theme in many of my books.
I love being an American. I am so proud of the men and women that support and preserve our freedom. This is another theme you will find in my books.
I am so grateful for my fans and for the support and love you all show me! Don’t stop reading!
I have a New Fav South Port Beach Romance! With every new book in the series, I prepare myself to be disappointed. Not because I have ever NOT loved a Taylor Hart book, or found a Taylor Hart book to be disappointing, BUT there’s NO POSSIBLE WAY that the next book/sibling’s story can be as good as, or, total shock! ;) BETTER than the last book. And then Trent and Liberty blow me away with the story of their beautiful romance! Of course, each of these siblings, and their growing family members are amazing-it’s a blast getting to know each one and share in their story. The only downer that I can find is that Taylor Hart does such an awesome job of transporting you to South Port Beach that it’s a bit of a let down at the end of the book to realize that my plans to move, or at least visit my new friends, are a bit unrealistic! I have to wait for the next book to visit one of my favorite places with some of my favorite people. Uh... FICTIONAL places and FICTIONAL CHARACTERS! As with the other books, The Stone Family Warrior takes you on a bit of a hair raising adventure as we delve a little deeper into the mystery of the Stone family treasure hunt. Okay, #NoSpoilers, but Trent is special... and... I can’t imagine even his twin’s story can top this!
Clues, pain, secrets, and danger blend in a wonderful story Trent is driven to find the gold his parents hid, leaving clues for their children to follow. He doesn’t need the money he just wants to solve the puzzle. All of his other siblings, except one, have tired of the hunt but are still interested just not heavily involved. As he sits on the beach reviewing the last clue, a string of numbers, he is interrupted by Liberty, a friend he hasn’t seen in years. Liberty has her own struggles. She has lost both her husband and young son in a car crash that she feels responsible for. Neither Trent nor Liberty are looking for a relationship but both feel drawn to each other as friends. Mix in a scorned suitor, a billionaire looking for the gold, and the clues that seem so random and you have a fun and entertaining story that will keep you wanting more. This book is part of a series and although it can be read as a standalone, it would be more enjoyable in the series. I received an early copy and this is my honest review.
Trent Stone was a warrior in more ways than one. He was a SEAL and fought for his country; he is part of the Stone family heritage; he was a twin of Hunter and they were truly connected in their hearts; plus, he was from South Port where his beach buddies would return. Upon the death of her grandmother, Liberty has also returned. Trent knew Liberty in school, she had crushed on him, and, he hadn’t even stolen a kiss. After years apart, this story is their return to homes of parents, grandparents and many friends. This series has mystery in the form of hidden treasure; it has angst from a gangster of sorts who demands the treasure at gun-point; and, the ties of family is so strong it makes me want to find this South Port and join in. Thanks for a wonderful book to add to this series. Now I’ll wait for the telling of Hunter!
I loved Trent’s story! If you have been following this series, I’m sure you love the Stone family just as much as I do. Liberty has had so much heartache in her life, as she returns to to South Port with the intent of putting her grandma’s house up for sale, she can’t help but rekindle the friendship she had with Trent in high school. Though Trent is used to dating a lot, he has never been in a very serious relationship ship, so what does he do when he finds himself dreaming of one with Liberty and she is not ready for one? As the two of them navigate this new side to their friendship, as well as continuing their search for the treasure, there is plenty of love, suspense and laughter. I love this series and can’t wait for more!
*I received an ARC copy in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are my own.
I fell in love with the Stone family in book one and have loved all the books in this series. This could be read as a stand alone, but it is so much better when you have already read the other books. Liberty has endured so much in the past. Trent, the babe slayer, may just have met his match when he runs into Liberty who has returned to South Post to sell her grandmother's house. As they fight their mutual attraction, some clues are deciphered, Banks makes a reappearance and the romance and drama continues. I could not put the book down! Ms. Hart crates characters that seem like part of my life!
In this book we get to visit the Stone family again. This is Trents book and while he is taking care of the Inn he runs into Liberty who was a part of their beach crew. She inherited her grandmother’s place and came there to get it ready to sell and to heal. During her stay Trent helps her by getting her involved in looking for the treasure. During their search both find some healing and love. Their story is full of adventure and will pull at your heart. You don’t want to miss out on this part of the Stone families search for the treasure.
The Stone family is large and boisterous. This is Trent's story. Trent is a navy seal. He is home for Christmas and taking care of the inn. He is also looking for the treasure. He runs into Liberty - a friend from school. Liberty is back in town to sell her grandmother's house that she inherited. She has had a tragic past and just wants to sell the house and move on.
Trent is a playboy and a flirt. His nickname is the Babe Slayer. But, once he hears Liberty's story, he is a caring compassionate friend to her.
Great story with mystery, fun, family and danger. I highly recommend.
A good clean treasure hunting romance with suspense throughout. Trent is looking for the treasure his parents have hidden and Liberty is back home to sell her grandmother’s house. She had a secret crush on Trent in school and the attraction is still there but she feels broken by the death of her husband and child. Will they overcome the obstacles? Will they find the treasure? I really enjoyed this story/series and would recommend it/them. I’m looking forward to the next book in series.
Trent and Liberty run into each other on the island where he works and she has inherited her grandmothers home. She has suffered the lost of her husband and child and now wants to get her grandmothers house sold so she move on. Trent is looking for the lost gold that his parents left clues for but so far no one has been able to find but with the help of Liberty they just may find what they both need. Well written with a little suspense and loved Trent and Liberty.
This is the fifth book in the series and tells the story of Trent and Liberty. As 16 year olds they each had a crush on the other but nothing came of it. Now, Liberty has returned to her grandmother's home in South Port after suffering a significant trauma. She runs into Trent on the beach and they become reacquainted as adults. This book revolves around the family treasure and the hunt to locate it. The bad guys are still after it and the clock is ticking! 4 stars
I have really enjoyed this series and cannot wait for Hunter’s story to come. Trent and Liberty were so good for each other. Trent has his issues as most of the Stone siblings. He and Liberty had been a part of the beach kids and she had a crush on him as a youth. She had been through so much in the time they had been apart though. Can they find a way to get together? Will they find the treasure?
Stone family still solving the mystery The twins have a disagreement (so what else is new?). They are struggling to solve their parents puzzle. . . and when Trent meets up with Liberty again sparks fly, And they work on the puzzle. . . .and she tries to decide if she is going to sell her Grandmothers house — and stay, THIS IS SUCH A GOOD BOOK! Totally loved it, I received a copy of this book from the publisher. All thoughts and comments are my own.
The excitement, the challenges The Stone family go through are amazing. The old beach crew is slowly coming back together. Can't believe guns pointing at them all the time. One getting shot and they dig the bullet out. I laugh, I cry, I get scared reading their adventures but can't wait to start the next. Find gold or what the true treasure is only you can answer. A great series, a must read.
I had an Advance Readers Copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. I have really enjoyed reading all the books in this series, but this one especially. There is romance, intrigue, and a mystery in the plot, along with issues of trust and self-concept. Taylor Hart does a great job with her storytelling! I would recommend reading this one.
A second chance romance. Instead of a book boyfriend, I have a book family. I want to belong to the Stones. This series has it all: a fantastic family, treasure hunting, adventures galore, and romance. Trent broke Liberty's heart when they were teenagers. Now they're all grown up. He is the "babe slayer" and she is the "wounded widow". A fun page-turning story. A must-read.
This series is just so great. I have loved reading about the Stone Family. All the characters are well developed and really draw you in. This is Trent and Felicity’s story. Their road to an HEA is a rough one. All the family reappears in each book. I can’t wait to read Hunter’s story. I received a free copy of this book and this is my voluntary, honest review.
This is Trent & Liberty's story. They were an "item" back in high school but that was many years ago. Now they are thrown together. Each has issues to be resolved. The mystery of where the treasure is has a new twist I never would have thought of. When will the treasure be discovered? I received an ARC. This is my voluntary review.
This surely is an extended treasure hunt with more clues in every book. I’m beginning to think maybe it’s not s tangible treasure. Who knows? But I love the Stone family. And I love how they are as they work together. I love how Liberty grew to love Trent and open up to him. Now I can hardly wait for Hunter’s story.
Each of the 5 books available is well written. Threads run through, story to story, friends and friends, family and family. None are a quick read, but all have depth and emotion and plot and character.
Just as exciting as I expected it to be! A great story and series. It does make you wonder how Mr.. Banks can get to where the action is so soon after the latest clues are discovered. They need to move the war room to where there isn't floor to ceiling windows, someone is spying on them.a great story about family bonding and love with siblings and friends.
Trent and Liberty have a very interesting and exciting story. Liberty has been through so much since she left South Port years ago. Meeting up with all of her old friends has helped her tremendously. Also, reconnecting with Trent has helped. One more book in this series. I can't wait to read it.
Trent finds the love of his life when his 16 year old girlfriend shows back up to South Port. I’ve read several of these books and they all have the same theme and antics. I was put off by the repetitive bragging and showmanship of the main character. It doesn’t seem real in today’s world
So far this is my favorite in the series!!! Trent and Liberty run into each other after many years and the chemistry is still there. They both have things they need to work through and I oved that they were able to do that together. Of course the family is still discovering clues to the treasure and on the lookout for Banks. It was a treat to get to see and catch up with the stone family. Looking forward to Hunter's book.
I am really enjoying this series! Trent and Liberty's story is an almost second chance sweet romance! I can't wait for the next installment in this series!
*note this series is best read in order
I received an ARC from the author and all opinions are my own.
I really enjoyed this installment in the series. The suspense and mystery and treasure hunting that ties each book to the other. It was a fun adventure and I can’t wait for the conclusion!
I received an ARC of this book and am voluntarily leaving an honest review.
As always the mystery and suspense is great! Each story brings you a little closer to solving the treasure hunt, but stands alone I the romance department. Loved it and can't wait for Hunters story.
Although the beach gangs reunites, couple by couple, it seemed redundant that half of each couple had had a marriage that failed and carried a lot of baggage. Yet, the stories are intriguing and the writing is good.
This story is about the Stone family and a treasure their parents left them but they had to figure out where it was by breaking down the meaning behind a group of numbers. This is my review and mine alone. Norma Gorrill
Absolutely another terrific story!!! From start to finish it was always hard to put it down and go to work! And could not wait to get back to it on my lunch break! I am ready to get the next book in the series. Every book has been great!!! Romance and suspense 😃
Another great book in the Stone family series! I just loved Trent and Liberty! They had attitude but then great chemistry! Adventure and romance to die for! A must read!!
