MJ Fields is a USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance novels. She lives in New York with her daughter Miss A, smoochie faced Newfie, Theo and the newest member to the 'fields crew, rescue diva / holy terror Eleanor. When she’s not locked away in the cave, she enjoys doing home improvement projects, spending time with her family, attending live music and sporting events, the theatre, singing off key, dancing to her own beat, listening to audio books, and reading of course.
The following ratings are out of 5: Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙 Romance: 💛🖤💜💚❤️ Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙 World building: 🌏🌍🌏🌍 Character development: 🫣🤭🫠😮🥰
The heroine:Tatiana Rand - physically and verbally abused and kept prisoner in her apartment building by her father. She was home schooled and reads the same books over and over.
The Hero:Jagger Caldwell - an underground MMA Fighter who recently lost his mother who was abused by his father when he was young. He sees the world as an ugly place. He works at his family’s bar with his brother Hendrix.
The Story: Jagger hears the sounds of domestic abuse in the apartment next door to his, which is where his landlord live. He intervenes and beats up the landlord after finding the guy severely beating up his teenage daughter. Jagger is evicted, but determined to save Tatiana, so he watches her doing laundry, taking out the garbage, and reading her books.
When Jagger sees a woman give Tatiana a bag with some food which she quickly eats and throws the bag away, he figures she must be starving. So for the next year he leaves bags of food, vitamins and more for her. He continues to watch her whenever he has spare time, in the mornings from the deli across the street and from the darkened street some nights after his fights.
The book is told in dual POV by two narrators. Maxine Mitchell and Joe Arden do the narration and both do a terrific job. Tatiana is Russian and Maxine does a good eastern European accent, not perfect but I thought it was good and Joe Arden is one of my favorite male narrators. I just like his voice.
The book picks up fairly early on when Tatiana finally realizes that her father is capable of killing her if she stays. Though when she goes looking for Jagger, she doesn’t find him. She meets someone who becomes a friend, though he turns out to be Jagger’s enemy. I enjoyed the story.

This is going to be a real short review because I just cannot believe I wasted my time reading this book. And to think I was the one who requested it because I liked the blurb.
Alright, so I really wanted to like this book but the whole thing went downhill for me as soon as I started the prologue.
Why?
The prologue was a scene from book one when Jagger just beat the hell out of his landlord because he was beating his 17 years old daughter.
In what world do you think is okay for a barely 18 years old abused girl to be in a very sexual relationship?
This girl has spent her whole life locked in an apartment, emotionally and physically abused by her father and threatened to be sent back to Russia, a place she hasn’t been she was a baby. She’s never known a gentle touch, she’s never had new clothes or presents or decent human contact whatsoever so it’s obvious that she’s going to be pretty attached to the first person who treats her well. The amount of insta-crap in this book blew my mind.
Through the book I found myself more and more uncomfortable and all those come backs about Tatiana being “legal” and “a woman with a period” just fucked me up. I couldn’t.
Dude, if you have to continually make clear that your character is legal and shit, then something is wrong about it and you know it.
Jagger was an asshole. Everyone in this series seem to be a) an asshole, b) an abuser or c) a Mary Sue.
I honestly do not recommend this series to anyone.
I expected the premise to bother me a lot. The heroine was so young. But somehow it worked. She was not an immature child. She was a woman who never had a childhood. This book ended up having a ton more sex in it than I expected. And she was the aggressor much of the time. It was refreshing.
Jagger is incredible. There are no words to express how awesome he is. He really came through for Tatiana. And Tatiana is pretty fearless considering an absolutely horrible life of abuse.
Warning - there are graphic scenes of her being beaten.
When I started Jagger, I really wanted to like it. The premise of the way these two enter one another’s life was something that instantly caught my attention. I had not read the prior books in this series so this is in no way a reflection of the prior two books. And it is just my opinion on the book, others might feel differently.
When Jagger finally has enough of hearing his neighbor being abused he never imaged that the woman at the other end of the fists would be Tatiana, a seventeen year old girl. A girl he couldn’t have but couldn’t stop feeling responsible for.
Okay. So this all went downhill for me pretty quickly. I probably should have just stopped reading it but I wanted to see if something could happen by the end to change my mind. I think my frustration just grew.
Tatiana, an online-homeschooled kid with very little interaction in a social setting, but it’s like **POOF** she is magically adjusted to real life outside of her abusing home. The way she talked went from intelligent to sheltered. And the sex was a bit overdone. There was only so many times this chick could tell him “harder” before he’d end up pounding her through the mattress.
Overall this one was just too insta-everything and it really failed to build up any sort of real connection between the characters.
Jagger is the third and final book in the Caldwell brothers series. Despite being the third, you can easily dive into this story without having read the first two (like I did!). The authors do a great job of introducing the couples from the first two books and teasing at what their storylines were, providing just enough to get me curious to check out their stories! This is a surprisingly sweet read. It does deal with some difficult topics, but it doesn't feel over the top or angsty. There’s a few intriguing subplots that kept me turning the pages. I did think that despite the fact that Tatiana had to grow up very quickly, she comes across as immature in the book, which did cause me to lower my rating.
Ask yourself, how can those two opposite people become each others safe haven?
Their story is unique and filled with hope to escape your darkest demons and tormentors, hope to be free, hope to be happy and hope to be loved. Nobody said it would be easy because life's no fairy tale. In fact, it's a far cry from it. You have to fight and claim your right to live it they way you deserve to. And sometimes accepting help is no weakness, it's the greatest strenght that leads to your victory! The only one stopping you is yourself, your fear of what change may bring. You either make it break it. But remember, the most important thing is that you tried. Tried to change for the better! Tried to change for more!
To all the women who were raised by an iron fist, where the blows knock you down so far you don’t think you can get up. To those who were born into a life far from a fairy tale, a life where you don’t think you could handle another round. To all the women who unknowingly chose a man thinking he would give them a better life than they had ever known before, but still feel knocked down. The bell can ring, the cycle can be broken, But it has to start with your decision to put one foot in front of the other and for once in your life make the choice to truly live. In order to find love, you must first love yourself. You can start new. Fight a new fight . . . A fight for you.

Jagger Caldwell is the baby of the Caldwell brothers and a fighter with a heart of gold.
Jagger first lays eyes Tatiana while she is taking a beating from her father. A victim of daily violence and a fragile 17 year old girl with no other family other than the man who beats her regularly. Jagger's need to protect her from that moment is overwhelming.
It's a sweet and heartwarming ineraction, a journey to new hope, new beginnings and a new lesson to be learned in the meaning of family for Tatiana.
Told in dual pov's you're transported into the thoughts and feelings of each character.
Loved the other characters, the Caldwell brothers, Livi and Hailey and like any loving family there's banter, gatherings and feel good moments.
A brilliant all round read with some angst, alpha male fighting action, drama, humour, romance and intimate hotness.
Praise to the authors for raising the awareness of domestic violence, a subject so very real and active in the lives of so many people and for giving hope and hopefully courage to whoever reads this and needs just that little push in the direction of courage. May your words be inspiration in a book I thoroughly enjoyed.
Tatiana: He is Jagger Caldwell. He is the legacy of good in my world of bad. He is mine.

I'm torn. I really loved Jagger and his protective nature and extreme sexiness. Tatiana/Totty didn't work for me. She's been abused for 18 years with almost no outside contact, and she just left that world and was instantly okay with everything outside of it. Her "rescuer" Jason/Cobra I could really have done without, but Kid I would like to see again in his own HEA. Loved seeing Jagger's brothers and their wives again.
Everyone that has suffered abuse needs someone in their life willing to go to the mat for them like Jagger did for Tatiana.
Jagger is in his apartment when he hears his landlord fighting with a women, he had to do something to stop it. When he crashes into the apartment and sees Tatianna huddled in a corner with blood on her he cannot stop his rage. Tatiana is so tiny for a seventeen year old it's hard to believe that she is almost eighteen all Jagger can think of is what it was like to be beaten by his father when he was young and defenseless and he cannot let that happen to her. Tatianna was more than physically abused, she was emotionally abused, and socially withdrawn...she was not permitted to leave their apartment building. No attending school, no friends, NOTHING! This poor girl has no idea what lays behind her apartment door. Jagger makes it his mission to help get Tatianna out from under her father's thumb, and once that is done he will deal with his attraction to her.
This story was very emotional you witness some of the abuse that is inflicted upon Tatiana but you also witness the love between Jagger and Tatianna as well as his two brothers and their wives. I haven't read Hendrix or Morrison's stories yet but I do plan on going back and reading them.

Jagger is a story about people who have suffered abuse and rising above the ashes. This book has a great meessage about never giving up hope and fighting for freedom. I loved the storyline and I loved the message, the only complaint I had was that it just felt rushed. There is a lot of potential in this story and I did like it, I just wasn't able to connect enough to it to love it. I really liked the characters and I liked this story enough to want to go back and read Hendrix and Morrison's story.

I know a few people were bothered by the age difference...I wasn't. However, the insta-love obssesion wasn't my thing. Would I recommend it? Only if you like unbelievable stories. P.s. When doing the deed, why does the h is constantly saying "harder", I mean how hard you do you want it? Lol
Jagger is Book 3 in the Caldwell Brothers series by MJ Fields and Chelsea Camaron. This is Jagger and Tatiana's story. Tatiana is a 17 year old girl who is being abused by her father. She has been practically kept inside her house for years and has no contact with the outside world except with her father. He abuses her physically, emotionally and mentally. That changes the day Jagger burst their apartment and into her world, when he hears her father beating her and comes to save her. Jagger is a man who is the youngest of the brothers, the "baby" yet he stands up for those who can't. When he saves Tatiana, he at first felt responsible for her but it quickly turned insta-lust/love. The chemistry is sizzling, the plot deep and emotional. Tatiana is too young for Jagger but the heat, feels, attraction , and passion makes for an incredible read!
Known as baby C to his brothers, Jaggers life went in a direction, one of vengeance towards the man he couldn't stop. When he sees a girl being abused he steps in to help but is only punished for his actions. So he wait and shows his protection from a distance while fighting in underground boxing matches. Tatiana has only known abuse and she is scared, her father made her believe that if she spoke up she would go back to a country she never knew. Until she discovers the truth about her mother and she is ready to leave knowing she will end up the same. This book does have a lot of triggers for those who have known abuse, but the strength of the characters give hope, forgiveness and a bright future. I loved this series, as it could be someone's anyone's life and how choices lead you to a future. I voluntarily read a copy of this book and could not put it down, I love it.
Jagger's story is a wonderful third book in an awesome series! Tatiana is such a strong heroine, and the way that her story mirrors his gives an emotional credibility to their relationship that is undeniable! Full review to come in conjunction with spotlight blog post.
Jagger is the youngest Caldwell brother and a fighter. He meets his next door neighbor, Tatiana when her father is beating her. Jagger gives her father a beat down and saves her. Tatiana is a seventeen year old woman with no family but her abusive father. She's too young for Jagger but he feels responsible for her. This ends up as a relationship with plenty of steam and sex.
I have mixed feelings about this one and I'm still left a little uncertain about how I really feel about Jagger and Tatiana's relationship.
This book starts out going back to a part of Book 1 we remember, when Jagger notices that the 17 year old daughter of his landlord is being physically abused and he's arrested for intervening since Tatiana refuses to press charges against her dad. Before he left her apartment though, he did leave his business card with her so that she could get in contact with him if she ever needed his help. Jagger is forced to move out of his apartment, but he still can't stop obsessing over protecting Tatiana. So he acts like a stalker and keeps an eye on her and even provides her with things like decent shoes and pastries. It's not until later on that she decides to find out who her mystery donor is and notices Jagger.
One day, Tatiana's dad beats her to the point she blacks out. When she awakes, she sees that he's out cold himself and so she decides to flee and run to Jagger. Only things don't go as planned, but at least she still gets away, just not with Jagger initially. But he eventually finds her and keeps her protected for several days until she turns 18.
So my first sorta problem with this one is that Tatiana is 17 and even though Jagger is the youngest Caldwell, he's still a whole lot older than her. Now, my husband is older than me by 6 years and as a 17 year old, I dated a guy 8 years older than me, so I have no issues really with the age difference. And at least Jagger waited until she was 18 to really do anything with her, so I respected that he kept his distance until she was legal. But a 17 year old Tatiana who never leaves the house, has only ever known an abusive father and doesn't even watch TV is one who lives a very sheltered and limited life. How can someone like that fall in love instantly, want sex all the time and know what she wants in life? I just didn't find that believable and it made Totty seem so much younger than she was. Sure, she was a tough young woman and very intelligent, but that lack of real world experience made her seem younger and immature in my eyes.
As mentioned before, Totty turns into a nympho. Jagger would just try to talk with her and she'd manage to seduce her way out of it. It became pretty annoying. And I don't care what is written, there's no way a 17 year old girl with no experience or knowledge of sex before a hotel movie, can turn into someone who magically knows what she's doing and can rock a guy's world that quickly. Nope, not buying that.
Despite her immaturity, I did respect Totty. She was a much stronger woman that I would have been after going through all she did. It was utterly heartbreaking to have those abuse scenes described to you and know that a child had been dealing with that abuse for years. I just can't imagine.
Now on to Jagger. Even though he had the hots for a 17 year old in the beginning, Jagger turned out to be such a great guy. He was a fighter, doing a lot of underground fights, so I expected him to be some gruff cocky guy. But he turned out to be the biggest romantic and protector there was in the Caldwell family. I admired his restraint and how he stayed away from her until she turned 18. I liked how he then still tried to go slow (but she had other plans). I loved that he gave up something that defined him so that she would be happy and feel safe. I loved that he wasn't afraid to cry over the loss of someone close to him. I loved that he loved his mama fiercely and wanted to honor her memory. There just wasn't a whole lot not to love about Jagger. He was just an all-around great guy with a good sense of humor and a need to protect.
The whole part with Cobra was unnecessary and annoying. I hated how he used Totty and he honestly seemed mentally unstable. I'd be interested in seeing what happens to him though and hopefully the author makes note of him in Kid's book.
The ending of the book is sweet (with yet another Caldwell wedding). The part with his dad was a bit awkward and I'm still not sure how I feel about that, but once again, Jagger is a bigger person than I would have been.
I gave this book 4 stars simply because I loved Jagger and thought that Totty was strong. I had some issues with the instant maturity of Totty, but otherwise, it was a good story.
The beginning half of Jagger was good. I loved that he was this tough bad ass fighter and that he channeled all this strength and power into being protective and caring. The opening scene really pulled me in. I was excited! I was intrigued and I settled in to devour this one.
I was predicting a 4+ rating but half way through it started to fizzle out, not that there wasn't plenty happening around the MCs (murder, jealous rivals and family drama) but for a big chunk nothing happened between the two MCs. It was a lot of push and pull with Jagger and Tatiana. It felt like a lot happened (and not enough if that makes sense?) and I get that the author tried to convey the importance of Jagger’s restraint and Tatiana’s emotional and physical needs but it fell short. There was a lot of back and forth between the MCs that would have provided some good angst but instead it was sorted out quickly and all the reasons why Jagger was hesitating and trying to give Tatiana space just went out the window.
Tatiana was a good h, she was tough, brave, and so optimistic. She is a freaking survivor, and I loved that about her. She struggled but she always picked herself up and looked forward. She worked for her tomorrows and fought for her share of good in all the bad.
Together these two were a great pair. Jagger was all about Tatiana and vice versa.
Jagger “I want you.” My voice drips with need. I can’t help it. “But I don’t want you thinking you owe me shit, Totty. I want you to be free.” I reach out and run my thumb over the scar on the side of her face, and she pushes her face against it. “I want you so fucking bad. Can’t you see that? I’m trying to do the right fucking thing here. I want you to experience the good in the world. I don’t wanna hold you back.”
Tatianna
When Jagger is around, I am full of emotion, full of life, and full of possibilities.
Does he see it? Does he realize it’s just him for me? He makes me wild with need, want, and only he can satisfy me.
These two really really wanted to be together and weren't shy about claiming what they wanted. Very all or nothing!
Although with the traumatic history that Tatiana has, I think a slower pace for her romance with Jagger would have been better suited to the story. She meet him once but then only sees him from afar a few times in the next seven months. Then when she finally decides to leave her abusive drunk of a father she runs to Jagger. He was the only person she knew that ever tried to help her so she definitely has a hero complex for him. Then there was the age thing. Tatiana is 17 when she first meets Jagger. Fast forward 7 months and she is three days away from her 18th birthday and ready to jump right in to a physical relationship with a man she admits to not really knowing? The age difference didn’t matter to me, but the light year speed that they get together did feel off.
It was a good read that kept me entertained from start to finish with a nice HEA ending. The chemistry was hot and instant. I just needed more of an emotional connection before things got physical.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars POV: His & Hers/ 1st person Naughty Factor: 3 out of 5 My FAVORITE of this series! Jagger and Tatiana's story was more than just a love story, but a story of survival and fighting for what's good.
Momma Caldwell raised three AMAZING sons and they each touched me with how they wanted to honor the mother they loved so dearly.
Out of the desirable and sexy Caldwell Brothers, Jagger was the most intriguing. He was so tough on the outside from his career of underground fighting, but he was the most sensitive of the three. Though all three brothers worship the memory of their mother, Jagger had a tendency to hold her just a little bit closer to his heart. He is a natural protector as he swoops in to save the day and spends days making sure Tatiana is safe and cared for...from afar and anonymously.
Tatiana was strong and independent. She was the ultimate survivor and held a maturity that would rival anyone twice her age. The two of them were the perfect match.
With suspense and passion within it's pages, Jagger was an amazing conclusion to this series.
3.5 stars ARC provided via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Jagger, the baby of the Caldwell brothers, is used to fighting, getting hauled into the police station, and banging all the girls he wants. When he has enough of listening to his neighbor beat on his girl, he intervenes, only to find its the man's daughter, 17 year old Tatiana. He does everything he can to forget her, to focus on his underground MMA fights, spend time with his brothers, but he wants to save her and he's willing to risk it all for her.
Jagger started out with a bang, making it impossible for me to put the book down; I wanted to know the final outcome so badly. There's a lot going on in Jagger, between seeing the older brother's relationships play out, the dynamics with the Caldwell father, MMA fighting, Jagger's continuous run in with the law, and his obsession with caring for little Tatiana. The authors manage to take everything that's going on and make it a cohesive story, it never felt like too much. The pacing was excellent and I really liked both of the main characters. While I've liked the previous brothers, and their respective novels, Jagger felt more relatable, his story more real for me. I liked the drive that Tatiana had to be independent, to finally find her way. I I did find myself enjoying reading more about Jagger's life away from Tatiana, especially his MMA fighting and his interactions with his brothers.
I struggled with my rating for one reason and one reason only, the relationship between Jagger and Tatiana, particularly with her age and situation, was really hard to read comfortably. Tatiana was very sexual, almost to the point of being worrisome, and Jagger, though he tried, seriously could not get enough of the girl he called "little one." I felt like the authors tried to show the push and pull between the two main characters, especially when Tatiana was 17, but it worked out so easily and their relationship moved far quicker than I expected. The age difference wasn't a problem for me, but more how Jagger did treat Tatiana as a little girl, as did others. I cringed, especially due to the use of "good touch" keeping me in the mindset of younger Tatiana. I would have liked the relationship to progress slower, but I still enjoyed them together.
Jagger was a successful final installment of the Caldwell brothers series and he's probably my favorite of the three. It was really nice to see all of the brother and how their stories worked out. While Jagger is a darker read of the three books, I enjoyed it and would recommend it.
**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**
"Jagger Caldwell feels like everything right in all the wrongs. He feels like the only good to keep me afloat in all of the bad."
Jagger is the youngest of the Caldwell brothers. He seems to have the biggest chip on his shoulder out of the brothers. He's a cage fighter. He uses his fists to fight the anger he has within. His father was abusive to him, his brother's and his mother. She did what she could to keep them safe but it wasn't enough. She was a good woman who raised her boys to love fiercely and protect always. When she died, Jagger wants to be her legacy of good. When he hears his landlord in the apartment beside him beating his daughter, Tatiana, he knows he has to step in. He gets more than he bargains for when he sees her cuddled into a corner waiting for the next hit. Something in him is drawn to protect her however he can.
"Just a man, Totty. I'm just a man who was raised by a strong woman who taught her sons to love fiercely, protect always, and no matter how hard or long the fight, you never give up."
Tatiana, a Russian immigrant, lives with just her father. She isn't allowed to leave the apartment. She is controlled in ever way by her alcoholic father that beats on her whenever he sees fit. When a stranger breaks in to stop him, she's more relieved then ever. When he tells her to run, she knows she has nowhere to go. Her fathers told her from a young age she'll be sent back to Russia, that she's here illegally. When small gifts start showing up she knows it's Jagger. She knows someone cares. Is that all the motivation she needs to escape the horrible up bringing she's had?
"He is more than the knight who saved me. He is more than the brother who loves fiercely. He is more than fighter who trains and makes a living. He is Jagger Caldwell. He is the legacy of good in my world of bad."
After the prologue, the story stalled for me. I put it down and picked it up a dozen times until I was all in and couldn't put it down. The Caldwell's are big, bad boys with hearts of gold. I didn't see it coming but ended up in tears a few times throughout this one. Definitely a good read and series that should be read together to get a better picture of the brothers.
“Don’t you see? You are everything good in this bad, bad world of mine. Hold me back, hold me any way you want to, but please, I beg you, just hold me and don’t let go.”
Jagger is one of those reads that is either going to be a hit or miss. For me, I thought Jagger was an ok read. One of things that first grabbed my attention about this book was the synopsis. It was right up my alley for books that I enjoy reading, and I’ve never read anything by this author duo before, so I decided to take a chance on it.
Overall, I thought this book was an ok read. I really loved the idea of the story. I thought it had a lot of potential and I found the characters to be really intriguing. Jagger is told from dual points of view and starts off with a bang. I loved the dark feel to it and how both of our lead characters were damaged in their own ways and just trying to survive the best way that they could. Jagger and Tatiana had a connection that was undeniable and you could really tell that Jagger wanted to give Tatiana a better life.
I did have some issues with the story, my biggest one, being the pacing. For me, it wasn’t consistent. As I previously said, our story started off with a bang and was really going strong and then somewhere around 40-50%, the pacing started to slow down. The story was just dragging and I almost put it down a few times. But, I was able to stay with it and I did finish the story. My other issue was with our heroine, Tatiana. While I sympathized with her and really, my heart ached for how she was brought up and all that she endured, I did have some trouble connecting with her. Some of her actions weren’t very believable to me and at times, I found myself very annoyed with her.
I don’t want to say too much else about this book, because I do want to keep it as spoiler free as possible. So, I will just say that this was a quick read for me. This story does deal with some very difficult subject matter and I do feel the authors handled that well. This story does have some drama, and romance. It did frustrate me at times, and while I did have some issues with it, I am still glad that I checked this story out and gave it a chance.
*I was provided an ARC copy of this book, via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review*
I knew when I started highlighting text already in the first chapter that this book was going to be golden. This is the third book in the Caldwell Brothers series. We have come to know the boys, their a$$hole sperm donor, the women who claim them and of course Momma. This is Baby Caldwell’s book. The brawler. Reckless energy. Heart of gold for the downtrodden. Jagger.
Jagger Caldwell understands better than most what can happen at the hands of someone more powerful than you. His Mother and older brothers protected him from his father’s wrath. His unspent energy needed to be burned off and as he got older, he began to train for underground fighting. Fighting because he wanted to, not because he had to. When he comes upon his landlord beating his young daughter, Jagger's protective instincts kick in and easily knocks the man out.
What he didn’t bargain for was his instant connection to the young Tatiana. Something about her drew him in. Remembering his Momma’s plea, he sought to become Totty’s good in a world full of bad. From a distance, he watched, he supported, he tried to protect.
Tatiana has led a very sheltered life. Innocent but already such a brave old soul at 18. She eventually breaks free from her oppresser and finds her way to the Caldwells. Both Jagger and Totty have baggage they need to deal with. Ultimately, what they need to truly heal is each other.
“Momma,” he whispers. “More than Momma, Jagger. You are a legacy all your own.” “Just a man, Totty. I’m just a man who was raised by a strong woman who taught her sons to love fiercely, protect always, and no matter how hard or long the fight, you never give up.” “She gave you good, Jagger.” “Yeah, she did.”
Beautifully written with words full of empowerment and encouragement to those who need uplifting. Great family series. All three books will become your favorites. Each can be read as a stand-alone, but, why? Get them all! Looking forward to more by these two great authors.
Family, fights and forgiveness are the three words that come to mind reading this book. You will see that there is nothing stronger than family especially when you are loved strong. Fights are there to help some deal with the inner fighting they are going through and forgiveness can be your strongest weapon in life. This book leaves you with a calming feeling after taking you to some pretty dark places. I love the strength that was given to Tatiana after seeing how she was abused time and time again by someone who is supposed to love and protect her. In the book that strength grew from the person that knew how to show love for her in every way possible. Jagger knew that first and foremost in order to make Tatiana strong enough to never endure what she went through she, herself, would have to know how to become strong in body and in her soul.
Jagger was the fighter and came that way of an abusive father but had a mother that endured that abuse for her sons to be able to one day provide a legacy that would make that same mother very proud of the men they became. Jagger knew to take that fight he felt to the ring and he thrived on making his mother’s legacy mean something to not only himself but to everyone around him. It was by doing this that his mother would live on in her son and help him take the path to a life of happiness where that darkness did not exist.
The love and lessons from this book on Jagger and Tatiana will have you rooting for this couple to make it out of all that bad that they had come from. The passion and patience that they had for each other was undeniable. After reading such an all-consuming book the authors give you some very funny moments in the end that will make you remember this book as something special.

I received a copy of this in exchange for an honest review through Wicked Reads. I really love the Caldwell brothers. I have jumped of every opportunity to get my hands on these books. I definitely devoured the first two, and I finished this one within hours of receiving it. Jagger is the baby of the Caldwell brothers. He knows his big brothers have his back, because they always have. His past taught him to be a fighter, and eventually, fighting became his outlet and way of life. He fights and lives among the toughest and roughest. Tatiana is a sheltered and meek teenage immigrant girl living with an abusive father. She sticks to his rules or face the consequences. One night, during a particularly harsh round of abuse, a handsome and intimidating stranger bursts through her door and beats her father back. Jagger couldn't take listening to her whimpers after the past he's lived through. Tatiana's fears get in her way of freedom, but Jagger still wants to keep her safe. Neither knows what will happen next, but they know they re drawn to one another. I won't say that this book was perfection, but I will say I found it to be an easy and enjoyable read. It went a little fast, and had a few unrealistic/exaggerated moments, but I was entertained well enough to look past them. I am definitely a fan of the Caldwell brothers and would easily recommend this series.
Out of all 3 brothers,I think Jagger is my fave due to how deep he seems. Jagger comes to the rescue of Tatiana who is being beaten badly by her father. By all accounts her whole life has been the same. Tatianas father made me feel murderous! I wanted to dig his eyeballs out with a blunt rusty spoon! The poor girl has known nothing but pain, so thinking about it now i wanna use a rusty saw and take his crown jewels too!!!!
Jagger grew up with his mom and brothers who were also treated bad by their sperm donor of a drunken father! His way of dealing with this was to learn to fight when he was old enough, and start fighting on the underground scene when he was good enough. When Jagger hears someone being beaten, he doesn't stop to think he just dives right in and gives Mr Rand his landlord a beating. Through this he feels protective over the 17 year old beaten girl he saves.
The story progresses over months, where Tatiana aka Totty learns about "good touch" for the first time in her life.
I have my fingers crossed for Jareds story! I have a feeling there is a dark, painful story in his past!
This is the third book in the Caldwell Brothers series. It can be comfortably read as a stand alone book but I would recommend reading the series in order.
As with all the Caldwell men, Jagger outwardly portrays your typical bad boy, but he is so much more and what we actually find is a loyal, caring and sensitive young man. His character comes to light pretty early on when he steps in to help a neighbour, Tatiana.
Tatiana, is a a great character. She's a young girl who has suffered a lot of physical abuse and has had to learn her life experiences through the tv and internet. I loved watching her growth through the book as she slowly learned to heal herself.
Their relationship is somewhat of an insta love but at the same time, it's also a slow burner as they developed their initial connections independently of each other. I have to say as a couple I was routing for them throughout; their likeable characters that draw you in from the get go and it goes without saying, their sexual chemistry was sizzling.
Jagger really started out on a bang so the story drew me in straight away. It flowed nicely and was a real page turner. It really had a little bit of everything, drama, romance, angst and a nice dose of suspense.

5 "I will always protect you !" Stars from me xx
This was baby Caldwell's book....Jagger and his leading lady was Tatiana. God what an emotional book. Tatiana suffers EVERY day at the hands of her dad. Jagger know's only to well what this feels like, however now Jagger is a man......no-one messes with him. Jagger meets Tatiana in unlikely circumstances (Jagger is a tenant at the house that her dad lets) and he stops her abuse one night.....from that pint Jagger does all he can to help Tatiana and he's committed to protecting her !!. The problem is Tatiana is young and very vulnerable. Her evil dad has well and truly done a fear number on her.
Enough is enough one day and Tatiana flees to the only person who has ever shown her kindness....Jagger. From her these two face struggles that will reveal if there love can stand the test of time.
I have LOVED each one of the books about the Caldwell brother, but after reading Jagger he get's my number one brother of hunk vote.....yay Jagger.
A thoroughly amazing read !!! A massive well done Chelsea and many thanks for this opportunity xx
