IDEAS MORE THAN PATTERNS

The book has beautiful quilts but is more of a 'this is a concept' rather than patterns and how to make them. While the book is color photographs, beautiful quilts, and some wonderful borders, it wasn't what I was hoping for. Some are basic, and others are more advanced, but it is ideas and not actual borders patterns.

This book is all about the bindings and sashings, good reference, has LOTS of tables to help with the math, so you can just make blocks to your hearts content, then figure out the sizing of the quilt later. Very cool.

With a large compilation of binding ideas & detailed instructions this would be a great resource for traditional quilters & functional quilt enthusiasts. There's also an additional section at the end on pillows. It's quite accessible so it would be suitable for all levels.
