Old friends. New flames. Dangerous consequences. Reunions with childhood friends should be filled with nostalgia and funny, embarrassing stories. Not sexual tension so hot it threatens to set fire to an entire forest. But that’s exactly what Mark Quinn discovers when he heads out to a remote campsite with his high school best friend, Stan and his sweet, sassy girlfriend Gina. And if coming to terms with his feelings for two of his oldest friends wasn’t enough, someone is targeting the residents of Peaceful once again. The Quinn family must band together one final time to take down their enemies once and for all, or risk losing everything. Every Quinn Quartet novel has a stand-alone romance story and an interconnected plot. For new readers, we advise you to start with Delving Deep for a complete understanding of the overall story arc and the family dynamics. We hope you’ll enjoy this final installment set in Peaceful, Ohio–where danger lurks beneath the peaceful façade.
Karen Nappa is an Amazon bestselling author of Seasoned BDSM romance with HEA. Her books are available at the popular retailers and include series such as the Club Indigo series and The Quinn Quartet.
Immersed in the D/s lifestyle herself, she writes realistic albeit romantic stories. When not dominated by her cats or her Master (in that order—even if it earns her a spanking!), she loves going places to discover the stories waiting to be written.
She resides in the Netherlands with her dominant husband, two adult-ish sons—and whoever they might drag home with them—and, of course, her two Chausie cats. If she isn’t writing or texting with friends, she’s probably reading, running, or listening to heavy metal.
Life isn’t really peaceful in Peaceful yet, even if most of the Quinn siblings have found their other halves. Only Mark is still single, and Karen Nappa was more than happy to tell his story, too. It was an honor to be invited on the journey towards his hea. Even if it means it might be the last time i visit Peaceful….. Trust me when i say Karen did Mark’s story justice!
Seeing his brothers and sister happy with their partners makes Mark yearn for someone to call his own. He knows their kinks aren’t his,but what is? Until he receives a call from his old friend,Stan. He’s started 'Peace and Passion Hiking and Wilderness Tours' with someone else from his past,Gina and is having problems at one of their campsites. Helping them solve their problem leads to more….with both. Only that problem turns out to be connected to the trouble in Peaceful…. How to end that trouble once and for all,is the question. And whilst doing that,he also needs to find a way to make his relationship with Stan and Gina work…. Both are a challenge, but at least he enjoys exploring the feelings that are growing between the three of them. Trying to rid Peaceful of the evil forces…not so much. But it has to be done to make sure the town has a future.
I enjoyed Mark’s journey to happiness, very much! Like the other Quinn’s,he has his own brand of kink, and finds the ones he can share it with. And once he does,he takes care of the ones he loves,só good! I also loved how the Quinn’s and their partners worked together towards solving the trouble in Peaceful. Especially the girls were great!

Small Town Trio is the last book in the Small Town Submission series. Without spoiling the conclusion of the suspense part, I can guarantee you the mystery will finally be solved. To me —however— the individual romance stories in these books were what kept me engaged. In true Karen Nappa fashion, each book has a different kind of dynamic going on and the characters are all unique.
They are also mature (no twenty-something virgins) and relatable (They have flaws, insecurities, and struggles as we all know), and have everyday jobs. In this book, Mark is a handyman and mechanic with dyslexia. He’s also a (bi-)sexual dominant with a caring nature and good communicational skills. Gina and Stan are starting a kinky wilderness guiding business. They are both ex-military and good friends. They tried to be lovers but something was missing —or rather someone! This final installment has MfM and Mmf as well as Mm and Mf intimate scenes but the sexy times add to the story and depth of their relationship and are emotional and sensual rather than erotic. Still, if you object to same-sex intimacy this isn’t your kind of story because it has plenty —either on-page or implied. A special moment for me was Mark and Stan's first kiss, and I think it says a lot about the kind of person and Dom Mark Quinn is how he handled that moment.
(It also says a lot about Karen Nappa as an author how she described the moment.)
Karen did an outstanding job of pulling the entire Quinn family and the suspenseful outside challenges they have encountered throughout the series to a roaring conclusion. The journey of the last twin to his truth is an insightful and engaging emotional experience. The suspense and angst that the entire family navigates is as intense as the dance that Mark, Stan and Gina perform throughout. I cannot say enough about the range of emotions that reading this book produced for me. It is part of what makes Karen Nappa's books so appealing. The story line is so realistic, therefore the idea that it is fiction was left behind as I got absorbed in this great read. Finishing the series has me anxious to see where Karen Nappa journeys next. This is a series I would easily re read and I have only a couple I feel that way a about. Amazing read
This is the final story in this series and we've been with these characters long enough for them to become friends that I will no longer hear from. This is Mark's story and I loved it. All 3 main characters in this book have their own demons that they live with and these were handled with sensitivity and realism. This book has characters interacting on both the Mfm and Mmf level and I found the writing very sensual with the intimacy at times implied rather than spelt out. The overreaching story arc is worked out with more of a whimper than a bang, although there was an unexpected twist at the end.
Mark Quinn, one of the male leads, has always felt inferior to his family - he has dyslexia and hasn’t been as academically successful as them, which is an issue in his mind, not theirs. He’s also different in that, whilst he also likes BDSM, he wants to share a female with another male, which no one else does.
Stan and Gina, the female and other male lead characters, tried more than friendship but felt there was something lacking. When Mark joins them to help fix some damage to their property, they’re both intrigued and a relationship between the three of them starts to be negotiated.
This story is tri-POV, well written, and has heaps of erotic scenes, both on the page and alluded to. The writing is very sensual and is MMF as well as MFM. ménage is not usually my thing but I picked it up because I've been reading the series and I think it’s very well written.
The overarching plot that has been the background of the series is resolved in this story but even the resolution is almost background and, quite frankly, anticlimactic. It is, however, resolved happily and that keeps this reader content. I received a complimentary copy from the author and this is my honest review.

This was another of those times where reading a book without having read the blurb or teasers left me unprepared for what was coming. All I knew was that I needed to read this book; partly because it was the end of this series but also because it was from this author. Mark’s forever is beautiful, and it is perfect, yet it’s not what I had been imagining it would be before reading this. One of my favorite things about the Quinn family is how deeply invested in each other they are. If something happens to one of them, it happens to all of them, and every last member of the family will come running to help. However, I’m still learning to be less resistant to how open they are with one another about their Lifestyle practices. And now that I’ve reached the end, I don’t quite know how I feel. I have all the answers I’ve been searching for, which gives me a great sense of satisfaction. But even though I have those answers, I feel a little lost because there’s nothing more to search for. I’m really going to miss these characters. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.
The conclusion of the Quinn Quartet Saga had a lot going on as the only unattached member of the Quinn siblings Mark, has dabbled in the BDSM world but didn’t find his niche until being invited into a ménage scene… So when an urgent call from a new business requires his help, Mark is surprised to find out it’s old friends from the past. Stan and Gina are old school friends and veterans who have come home to Peaceful and they once were in a relationship themselves but found it not fulfilling enough, (almost like something was missing) and add in the chemistry, dominance and communication that Mark brings lifts their dynamic to a new high. With the intriguing plot twists in the background mystery in and around Peaceful coming to a head that endanger all those near and dear brings this series to an ultimate HEA and I have loved every moment of it..

Mark, Stan and Gina are amazing people, each with their own unique nuances and history and it was awesome to see the 3 of them come together and form a relationship as strong as they did, against any social expectations and to see them happy with each other, no matter what.
Facing Consequences is the final book in this series and it was amazing to see how all the different attacks from the last 3 books plus this one came together. You won’t believe who it is! Seriously!
I was a little disappointed at the lack of detail in some of the scenes compared to previous books, but other than that, I absolutely loved it and honesty I am just sorry that the series has ended. Definitely grave a read of this one.
I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my voluntary and honest opinion.
This book, like the rest of the Quinn Quartet, has two concurrent stories running through it. Mark Quinn, the last single sibling, finds his true loves in Stan, his best friend from high school, and Stan's business partner Gina. The mystery of the environmental disaster also gets solved when the Quinn women all band together and sort through all their evidence. The love story between Mark, Stan and Gina is beautiful. Mark, their Dominant, brings Stan and Gina into their relationship lovingly. Their chemistry is off the charts hot. Facing Consequences is not a standalone, but much better read as part of the series. Five out of five stars, this is worth the one click.
I received a free advance review copy of this book, and am leaving this honest review voluntarily.
A love story and who dun it all in one. A fitting title since it's the final story in Peaceful as the Quinn Family tries to figure out who and why has targeted their family and businesses. The love story involves the last single Quinn, Mark, a twin, and friends from childhood - a couple - who have returned home after retiring from the military to launch a business. It was interesting learning more about this triad as they learn to trust and love themselves individually as well as with each other. It is a great series and if you decide to read it, you should go in order. I'm sorry the journey is over!!
If ever a town was inappropriately named, it’s Peaceful, Ohio! There’s nothing peaceful in this town, but, in this last book of the Quinn Quartet, matters come to a head, and there is a much-desired conclusion to the mystery that’s been plaguing the Quinns (and us!) from the start. I don’t do spoilers, so let me just tell you that it was worth the wait! And frankly, so was Mark – the man is dreamworthy. Sparks fly, tensions are high, and the heat is combustible – this isn’t a book to miss, and the relationship between Mark, Stan, and Gina will leave you wanting more.
This was a great series and fantastic way for Mark Quinn to finally get his HEA. Mark is different from the rest of his family as he doesn't feel as successful. The others have all found love and he is still searching. When his friends, Stan and Gina, keep having vandalism at their new business, he steps in to help and finds his place along the way. Stan and Gina have tried to have a relationship, but something was always missing. The three each find how they fit in the unconventional relationship and solve the problem of the tainted water along the way. Great ending.
This is the last book of this series. We now visit with the last brother, Mark. He finds his love in both his best friend, Stan, but also with Gina, his business partner. Stan and Gina tried to be a couple, but they knew something was missing, Mark. Meanwhile, we find out what exactly is going on with the mystery of the environment. I will say that I hadn't figured out this one! I really enjoyed the story and I always look forward to the next book by this author! I received a advance copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Karen Nappa has done it again -- I just loved this book. I particularly enjoyed the Mark - Stan - Gina relationship. It felt more like a real life menage than most books that tackle this subject - the people are genuine with real feelings and real-life issues. I was happy to see Mark get his HEA and enjoyed the chase that it took to finally get there (internal and external). As always with Karen's books there was plenty of action inside and outside the bedroom. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy through Story Origin and enjoyed every moment.
This is a well written finale for the series. I enjoyed all of the characters in this series, but I do have a soft spot for a ménage. This was a well crafted relationship with pitfalls as well as peaks. The larger family dynamics were incorporated and this provided a good stable base for Ben's relationship to stand on. The mystery in Peaceful that binds all four novels together was solved as well. A satisfying end I must admit. I look forward to the next evolution of this author!
Satisfying Conclusion And thus concludes the Quinn Family quartet; the bad guys god down, there’s a surprise twist at the end, and everyone lives happily ever after. I enjoyed this series set in small town Ohio, though I thought the other books in this series were better. This story faded to black for many of the intimate scenes, which left me feeling disappointed. Overall, a good series and a solid read.
The fourth and final installment of the series features Mark Quinn, Ben's twin brother. Like the other books in the series, Facing Consequences focuses on a part of the BDSM lifestyle: Menage. I happen to have a soft spot for romances between two men and a woman and always find it fascinating how this can go - focus on her or swords crossing. Since Mark is open about being bisexual, this should be a clear case. It isn't! There is a lot of teasing - think passionate kisses between Mark and Stan, a lot of hinting, think butt plugs for Stan and Gina. BUT, there is no scene that plays out to that end. Nevertheless, the feelings developing between them feel very real and their HEA is very believable. I loved that for the grand finale, we meet up with all the Quinn family members and see the siblings happy with their spouses. The solution to the troubles in Peaceful came a surprise and kept me guessing until the very end. This complete series including the prequel will definitely go on my keeper shelf to be re-read again. I hope there will be a new series starting soon! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I’m happy the fourth Quinn sibling found his love and the nature of that love. I’m pleased that we know who the culprit was. I’m saddened that this is the conclusion of a series I’ve come to enjoy.
I won’t lie. I wasn’t convinced this interconnected series could be as good as Club Indigo, and there has been a few rough stretches along the journey with Ross, Maddy, Ben, and Mark. However, from reading/listening to Healing Jacob’s Heart through the other books (and bonus stories) I’ve come to love the Quinns and I’m going to miss them.

I enjoyed this series, but with this book especially there were a lot of missing details. It was like the author was trying to keep it under a certain number of pages so I felt like things were disjointed.
This is the 4th book in the series and for best enjoyment I would recommend checking out at least the first book in the series to best enjoy. Mark and his best friend from high school Stan along with Stan’s girlfriend Gina end up at a remote campsite and sparks begin to fly. Will they be able to discover who is trying to hurt them? Fast-paced read with loads of drama, suspense and sizzling scenes. Great characters with lots of depth and an entertaining story. I liked it.
This has been a great series with love and intrigue and great backstories. All the gals and guys have fitted well together and the intrigue has linked the four stories together although each could be read separately. Really enjoyed the books.
