Doctors of Eastport General is a brand-new Contemporary Romance series. Get ready for all the naughty nurses, dirty doctors, and patient shenanigans that take place in Eastport General.
4.5 stars - I was reading along, digging the story but getting to that point in the night where I was about ready to call it a day. 🥱 As I'm oft to do, I thought, one more chapter. (You get it, you do the same thing.)
Yeah, about that. 🤔
It turns out that the next chapter was like an MCU film where they're about to confront the bad guy and things start to blow up. Nothing actually blows up here but the storyline gets a big *boom* and the adrenaline rush is on par. And there is damage. *nail biting commences* 😬
As I said, before I reached that point, I was liking the story and I continued to like it through to the end. Ash and Owen have terrific chemistry. The kind that starts with a giant bolt of lightning that creates a small fire that smolders initially, turning into an inferno with time. 🔥❤🎉
I love that there are some great comedic moments throughout, like this gem:
You’ve got to be kidding me.
In the comedy of errors that is my life, my ob-gyn… is also my one-night stand.
Dear God. You suck. Signed, Ash. -- Ashley Lindsey 😂
I love Ash's tenacity and how she picked up the pieces from a horrible time in her life and moved forward, even if she erected walls that rivaled the Great Wall of China.
Then there is Owen. Our sensitive, nerdy playboy doctor. There are so many things that I love about him. He's got a big heart, patience in spades, and an uncanny ability to be very understanding - even when receiving a kiss from an unexpected source (I was happy be didn't make a big deal of that).
Definitely worth the read!
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
The Doctors of Eastport General has been a fantastic series that I can't get enough of, but I never saw Doctor All Nighter coming. It all starts with Ash really getting upset at her neighbor Owen, who is very loud at night with his overnight guests & music because she's going to school & working a night job. They end up meeting in a very hilarious way that had me laughing hard, and it ultimately led to them hooking up in the near future. Of course, it's not long before she realizes that she ended up with a party favor from that night, so when she goes to the OBGYN, imagine her shock to learn that Owen is an OBGYN resident who walks into her room. I have to say that I've never had that much fun at the OBGYN in my whole life LOL! They decide to co-parent with benefits but there's not to be any falling in love but the best laid plans amirite?! This was a fantastic story with several layers that kept me glued to the pages cover to cover, so I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!
3.5 stars. Wow this was.... really intense.. What happened to Ash as a teen was awful. That Torin guy was a f@cking creep, groomer and crazy pedophile. And I'd like to have a f@cking chat with her parents. What the f@ck is wrong with you to leave a young girl (14yo) with a so-called family friend for years so he could pay for her studies and shit? Doesn't it smell like dead fish and dirty @ss to you or is it just me thinking that's some shady shit? I would NEVER send my (underage) daughter (or son) to leave in another State with a man (even though he's a friend) so she/he could study and let that guy raise her/him and buy her/him expensive shit like a f@cking Sugar Daddy/Sugar Baby kind of relationship. That's sick AF! Some parents seriously need an education in protecting their kids from potential sexual predators. And Ash should have at least talked about it to her brother. She's kept it a secret for years. It damn broke my heart when she told her story to Owen. And I loved how protective he was with her and that she felt safe in his arms. There were moments she showed some Little traits.. like, she sorta regressed to a little girl needing protection from the big bad wolf. And I'm glad Owen was her savior. They were really cute together.
i could go on and list everything i didn’t like about this (p much everything) but i’ll contain myself also take my rating with a grain of salt, i go for books i know i won’t like when i’m in a slump. why? idk but they’re the only things i’ll be able to read
This book was a mixed bag for me. I couldn't quite get into the characters, but the climax of the book was nuts. We begin with Ash, a grad student trying to study while her next door neighbor, Owen, is blasting music and making a racket with the sounds of his constant hookups. A fire alarm and a shared blanket leads to sex, which leads to a baby. Surprise! Owen is her OBGYN resident who is there when she gets the news.
First, let's look at the characters.
Ash is a covered in tattoos grad student and bartender who has a hard time excepting help from anyone. What we learn is she was groomed by a family friend at a young age, which is why she puts up so many walls.
Owen is an OBGYN resident who has hookups often, yet falls in love easily and hard according to his friend. He is like a golden retriever with Ash.
I did not feel the chemistry between the two characters. I had a hard time reading the sex scenes because Owen is not an alpha male and Ash liked rough sex. Reading Owen trying to give her what she wants was sort of cringe. I loved though how attentive he was to Ash though throughout her pregnancy. His scenes with her niece, Marigold, was the cutest of the entire book. However, how does a resident have so much time? He was able to help Ash at a drop of a hat, who can do that as a doctor?
The climax of the story is WILD. The man who took advantage of her vulnerability as a teen comes back in the picture and kidnaps Ash after her water breaks. Owen gets shot and all hell breaks loose.

Adora Crooks is one amazing storyteller. This story is fun, exciting, and full of so much love. She gives you just the right amount of sex to want you asking for more.
Ash meets the very hot Owen while she hears him having raucous sex in his neighboring apartment. She has a one-night passionate affair with him and doesn't see him for weeks. That is until she needs to see a doctor because she finds out she's pregnant. Guess who the doctor is? Yep, Owen. Well, he's the Resident, but you understand.
Te other wonderful thing about this story, we get to see Donovan again. I love his character in Adora's Truth or Dare series. He's younger and isn't as jaded as he was in the final book of the series. It was nice to see this other side of him.
You will love this story. A truly Happily Ever After . . .
I really enjoyed reading Doctor All Nighter (Doctors of Eastport General) by Adora Crooks because it was a very steamy story about Ash and Owen. It was my first time reading a book by this author and it was so fantastic!! The chemistry that these two characters had made my kindle melt!! There was definitely some humor and a bit of drama laced throughout the story that made me laugh and cringe at the same time. I would highly recommend reading this story. It was hot and steamy and funny and made me swoon for the characters. I will tell you it did get a bit drama filled and I wasn't sure what was going to happen, but I loved these characters and the story itself. I received a free book and am voluntarily choosing to leave this review. What a great story!!!
I really enjoyed this romance. Ash cracks me up and Owen is such a sweetheart. I couldn't help but laugh at parts of the book and had some teary moments as well. There is so much that happens that I really didn't know what was happening (in a good way). I was entertained from start to finsih!
I received a free advanced review copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my fair and honest opinion.
This is a M/F standalone neighbor/frenemies romance. OBGyn resident Owen and Psych student Ash are next door neighbors. Owen has a rather active & loud night life while Ash is trying to study & work. This doesn't make for the most harmonious living situation until one night when sparks fly. Shortly after, Ash discovers that their impromptu tryst may have long lasting consequences. When she goes to the hospital to get a pregnancy test and exam, guess who walks in her room? Surprise! Baby? Maybe? The two agree to co parent with benefits but with the strict rule that no one falls in love. What could go wrong? There was a mystery subplot about Ash's past relationship. This was at times frustrating for the simple fact that some things didn't make sense. The guy was abusive and stalking her. She left him, dropped off social media, stopped seeing all her old contacts, changed her car, apartment, and job - all so he couldn't find her. However, she didn't block him on her phone at that time. When he shows up at her new apartment, she talks to him. She leaves her apartment door unlocked. She doesn't tell her her brother, who works with him, what happened. She willingly goes to his company offices. If you've been stalked, abused, and are afraid, you don't make these decisions. The relationship part of the story was great for me. The groomed into a relationship part didn't work for me. It was like two different stories that didn't have cohesion.

5 ⭐ I loved it. I’ll revisit it like an old friend. This book is moving right into my favorites category. I would recommend it to everyone, even people that don’t ask. I’ll one click this author’s work in the future. 4 ⭐ A great read. I’ll probably reread again when feeling nostalgic. It was enjoyable, not portable magic. I would recommend it. 3 ⭐ I liked it. It was a nice way to pass the time. I doubt I’ll reread it. I’d recommend it to someone asking for a specific genre. Thanks for the memories. 2 ⭐ I completed the Herculean task of finishing this book. At times, it felt like I was Prometheus and the suffering would never end. It just wasn’t for me but I applaud the author for their effort. 1 ⭐ I couldn’t finish this book or I wish I hadn't finished. How do I put this? It’s not me, it’s you.

This story follows Ash who is a student at Psych and Owen who is a resident doctor at OBGyn who is also her playboy neighbor. And they both decide to have a one night-stand which has some consequences, and when Ash goes to do the labs and pregnancy test, Owen is the one who attends to her. After that incident, they both decide to make a deal to be co-parents with benefits.
This story kept me intrigued from the beginning because in addition to having romance and being steamy, it has its moments of mystery, suspense, good chemistry, a lot of humor, drama, sarcasm, and have some of the most heartwarming moments, and I'm a sucker for that!
Surprise/accidental baby is not my cup of tea but I did enjoy this book and would say if this is one of the tropes you don't like or like, give it a try because it's really good!!
I really liked this book and I wish it was longer because it was that good, and tbh I look forward to read more of this new talented author to me! ❤️
*This book is part of the "Doctors of Eastport General" but all can be read as stand-alones*
Tropes: ✨ dual pov ✨ badass FMC ✨ golden retriever playboy MMC ✨ guy next door ✨ one night-stand ✨ surprise baby/accidental pregnancy ✨ captive/kidnapped
Genres: romance, contemporary, NA, suspense and mystery
This was an okay read. I did grow frustrated whenever the FMC kept the MMC from being a part of the pregnancy, even though I understood her reasons. The poor man was scared that she—the woman carrying his child—would run if he pushed her too much.
I was a bit disappointed that we didn’t get a scene where Ash’s family learns about the trauma Torin put her through—not even with Luke.

So first time reading this author and it won’t be the last. I must take a moment to thank the author for such a masterpiece. It had all the feels I look for in a story, the characters were all so loveable, even the friend Donovan has me wanting his story. Ash is a 5’3 little tatted spitfire who is closed off from love, she lives next door to Owen a hot doctor with a love of one nighters after having his heart broken years before. Never having met beforeAsh hears his nightly activities and isn’t impressed, after they do meet ( no spoilers ) they end up having a one night stand that changes their lives. Owens king of one nighters feels an instant attraction to Ash but she makes clear she isn’t relationship material she tries keeping him at a distance but he isn’t going anywhere. Once we find out more from her past it all makes sense and Owen is so so patient with her it made me swoon. I won’t spoil it but so much drama, kidnapping, shooting and labour drama ensues. Owen is a born protector and she hated being a damsel in distress but tbh she needed Owen and came to realise he made her stronger. They do have happy ending and ash finally let’s him protect her.
Full time college student Ashley Lindsey is tired of hearing her neighbor's sexual exploits through the thin apartment walls when she is trying to study. When she finally confronts him the two can't keep their hands off each other. Just a few weeks later Ashley realizes she might be pregnant. At the hospital she is stunned to see that her doctor is none other than her sexy neighbor and one night stand.
Dr. Owen Harker is shocked to see his new patient is the neighbor he had a one-night stand with, and she's pregnant! He hadn't been able to get her off his mind after their one night together. But he quickly learned he has to tred carefully where she's concerned as it seems for all her tough, bad-ass exterior, something has caused Ashley to be weary of relationships.
As the two attempt to adapt to their new reality, events from Ashley's past are haunting her, causing havoc on her ability to trust this budding romance. Then the one person she never wanted to see again has finally found her and more than one life may be on the line.
As it is with this book; some times it seems an author writes so many details into a book that it seems some of the important details to an event get overlooked. Otherwise, I thoroughly enjoyed this book.
I received an ARC and voluntarily offer this review.
Owen and Ashley had an instant attraction to each other. There were many levels to this story and flowed well. Ashley letting go of the past helped her open up with Owen. “I want to tell him to stay. I want him to hold me all night. I want him to never stop looking at me the way he’s looking at me right now.“ About the book: He’s the playboy doctor next door. She’s just trying to study. When a one-night-stand leads to a positive pregnancy test, they make a deal: They’ll co-parent, as long as neither of them fall in love. I just wanted a good night’s sleep. But the paper-thin walls do nothing to hide my next-door neighbor’s playboy antics. All. Night. Long. Cue me, pounding on his door, ready to give him a piece of my mind. But he won’t settle for only a piece. It would’ve been easier to resist him if he wasn’t so devilishly handsome. If his smile didn’t go straight between my thighs. If his low-throated moans didn’t make my toes curl. But I wake up with something worse than a hangover. Two pink lines on my pregnancy strip. I’m double-f’d. In the comedy of errors that is my life, my OBGYN…is the very one-night-stand who put the baby in me. Dear God. You suck. Signed, Ash.
This book is part of the multi-author Doctor's of Eastport General series featuring Owen and Ash's super steamy story! Ash is trying to figure out how to balance her job and school so having a neighbor who cranks up the Stones every time that he has a female over is not noise that Ash needs to hear. Until the night she snaps and decides to go over there and really tell him what she thinks by pounding on his door. The next thing Ash knows she's in his apartment and it's her turn with the sexy doctor. She should have stayed home and should have minded her own business these are the thoughts running through Ash's head when she sees the positive pregnancy test. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this super steamy story to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Oh my god another absolute knock out. This is a neighbours to lovers, one night stand turned accidental pregnancy (and surprise! He's the OBGYN!) Owen is such a golden retriever, willing to do anything for Ash. He's so patient, giving her all the space she needs whilst she builds up to trusting him. Ash has been through some trauma, and I thought this was written really well. The little hints at her past and then the emotion when she opens up was really well done. I loved her deciding she's closing that chapter of her life. There are some lovely moments of connection, and the scenes where she is giving birth are such a lovely representation of the way that experience can bring you closer to your partner. As per usual, Adora nails the spice. It's hot. It's dominant. It's absolutely blooming perfect.
Ash and Owen—she’s a student by day and bartender by night; he’s her neighbor and an OB/GYN resident at the local hospital. The walls between their apartments are paper thin, so when he has his one-night stands, she can hear it all. After they officially meet, they have a one-night stand that results in a pregnancy. Even though they’re “just friends,” they become more than that to each other until they both fall in love, though they don’t tell each other immediately. There’s drama and danger from her past that actually jeopardizes her ability to give birth. But in the end, everything works out and they get their HEA. The reason for 3 stars: some of their relationship development is too farfetched to be believable and once she’s in her second trimester, school and work seem to disappear. Some critical details are missing. Still, I really liked these characters.

Their Unexpected Turn Of Events - The title of this book made me think the book was going to be a sweet and steamy story, however, that was really deceptive, as the story took me on a wild ride, that could only compare to a ride on Takabisha, Fuji-Q Highland, in Japan. I was hooked from the first page and I couldn’t stop reading until I reached the end. The drama, angst, engaging banter, as well as the steamy and beautiful moments, combined with Owen and Ash, who were broken because of their pasts, finally getting a happy ending, really made my experience reading this book, truly worthwhile. This is another must read book from an amazing author.
I received an advanced copy of this book and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Trying to balance school and her job is difficult enough but having to listen to her neighbor crank up the Rolling Stones every time he has a woman over is a distraction Ash doesn’t need. She certainly never expected to be one of those women or that he would be the doctor who administered her pregnancy test. Let the fun begin!
Owen is a resident who is just embarking on his career as a doctor. When he finds out that he is going to be a father he is determined to be there every step of the way and that includes helping her deal with her past.
Hot chemistry, turmoil and a little suspense as Ash and Owen realize that what started as one night together became the best decision that either of them ever made.
This is a great addition to this amazing series and is Owen and Ash’s story. Owen is a playboy doctor who is a resident OBGyn, and Ash is a Psych student. These two have a one nightstand with surprise results, and when Ash goes to have a pregnancy test and exam, in walks Owen. These two agree to co-parent with benefits. This is a well written story which has undeniable chemistry, surprises, mystery, danger, suspense, drama, humor, witty banter, intrigue, and is a heartwarming and steamy all-consuming page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Wow - This fantastic book immediately pulled me into the middle of all that was happening and there was no way I could put it down until I read the last word with characters you want to know, laugh-out-loud humor, scorch your skin off intimacy, great family vibe, suspense and so much more! I loved the instant attraction and steamy chemistry between playboy doctor Owen Harker and his next door neighbor Ashley Lindsey. This is a great start to the Doctors of Eastport General series so don't miss Doctor All Nighter from gifted author Adora Crooks. I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving my review.
This book was interesting. I'd forgotten i'd read other books by this author until the epilogue (and that entire series in KU).
I really really was frustrated with Ash for maybe 50% of the book. Mostly because she was so hot and cold. But as her layers unfolded, things made sense, and I started to get her rationale. But I wanted her to trust Owen earlier in the series.
This book gives you lots of feels. This author does that!!! She loves to give angst and steam and all the feels in between. I basically binge-read this in a day because i really wanted to see how this story played out. Great characters. Enjoyed the book.
Adora Crooks creates characters that are so incredibly lovable (prickles and all), action that’s nearly heart-stopping and romance that left me with warm fuzzies. This story has a one-night-stand-secret-baby-whoops! resulting in prickly Ash and extremely happy yet intense Owen having quite the road ahead of them. Add in some scary danger and I told my family to hush many many times so I could read the intense parts. An absolutely wonderful, truly amazing, all the good things heartwarming romance.
This story has plenty of chemistry, some solid banter, and way more drama than I was expecting. I liked Owen’s sweetness, Ash’s grit, and the way they fit together so beautifully. Ash doesn’t trust easily, for reasons, but Owen’s likable, kind, and respects her boundaries, which is really nice to see also. There are more than a few bumps along the road to their happily ever after, but watching them get there is a riveting experience from start to finish.
*An ARC of this book was provided to me by the author and I have chosen to leave an honest review.*
One night stand between neighbors quickly - surprise pregnancy. Another great installment in the Doctors of Eastport General series.
I loved Owen. And clearly he and Ashley have that frenemy chemistry. But a one-night stand quickly becomes a pregnancy storyline.
This is the first book in the series with a dark premise and full of high drama and danger, but it’s a great story and definitely ends with a happy couple.
This series is full of love stories that can be read in one or two sittings, and so far each couple has good chemistry.
This is my first book from the author and I will have to check out more of their work. I really enjoyed this story, tired of the noise coming from the apartment. One thing leads to another and she hooks up with Owen. Owen is feeling a little more towards her and is told by his friend that he does not have time for that. When Ash finds out she is pregnant, Owen really steps up.
This book is so steamy, with some drama, will Owen be able to overcome Ash insecurities?
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Beautiful, I loved reading this book. Ash and Owen are made for each other. To think all it took was a drill test and curiosity that lead them to a life they never new they wanted or needed. I must say that I love there official introduction to each other, it was priceless. I also do love how open is to Ash. I have say that Ash opening up to Owen about Torin really did change things up. Not to mention, it also brought them so much closer. Most off all I love the change in Ash and Owen’s protective nature to his loved ones.
Doctor All Nighter is my first read by Adora Crooks and a very enjoyable one. The story is well-written, funny, and engaging but also has a darker side. The characters are likable, especially sexy, nice guy Owen. Meanwhile, Ash is so tough on the outside, that for a while there, I wondered if she was actually going to make room for him in her heart. This surprise baby romance does take an intense dramatic turn but it makes the ending that much sweeter. I loved it.

I really enjoyed this. I am not usually fans of multiple large skips in the timeline of the book 1 or 2 at most is really what I can typically stand. But Adora Crooks did it really well that I didn't mind it. Loved the plot and the premise. I like how its her the distant badass and him the "triple threat" I am tired of reading it being opposite way so this is a nice change. Good Job! Can't wait to read more!
