And here I am again reading some good old Daddy Dom kink. I'm an absolute fan-girl for this type of get your kink on, but I do find in terms of offering's, this type of sub-genre is pretty hit and miss. Some authors failing to hit that perfect spot entirely with it just coming across as well, extremely icky indeed.
Well, let me tell you Daddy's Home ticked all my boxes and more, for such a short story, (it's slightly longer than your average novella) this certainly delivers in spades, the heat factor here is off the hook and then some more so.
So whats this about, discounting the obvious of course, Well Chloe is in hiding. She is laying low after double-crossing her ex-boyfriend Chad and taking off into the back of beyond.
So Chad after absconding from prison is hot on Chloe's trail. not far behind him is Logan/Daddy all hot in pursuit, everyone's after the same thing, all assuming Chloe has the package.
Poor Chloe has no clue what this is, or where it could be.
So there you have it, a brief outline of what the reader is plunged straight into, within a very short time of starting this tale.
Almost immediately from the start, Daddy's home give's us a full on ride in more way's than one.
Chloe herself is exposed to Logan's unique way of extracting the information he's after, all ready for his employees.
So, we do have a bit of dub/con initially here, which for all its wrongness was actually very hot indeed, Logan just has such an appealing way about himself that pulls the reader in.
There's a lot of Daddy/Babygirl kink that is not just confined to the bedroom.
But don't worry there are no dummies and such, it's just more of the daddy/good girl vibe we have been exposed to previously.
This is very insta-Love and low angst, And the story is mainly Chloe and Logan, who are both very likeable individuals.
There is a lot of spankings for Chloe from her Daddy and while Logan really has the stern hot disciplinarian vibe going for him. Chloe definitely demonstrates the naughty bratty behaviour to a tee.
They are both quite the pair and fulfil in each other the dark taboo need that each has.
The only dislikes I could find here is I would have liked this to be a tad lengthier, I could have spent much longer in the company of Chloe and Logan, I so wasn't finished with the pair of them.
I also still wasn't quite sure what Logan actually did it was never explained, I would really have liked this point clarifying and also his last name, never did find that one out either.
But these small things aside, Daddy's Home really did it for me, it was a definite hit that I highly recommend.

OH MAMA MIA this book was SMOKIN' HOT. If you know me than you are well aware that DD/lg kink and I are #Besties. I eat these type of stories up by the spoonful. Unfortunetly not all DD/lg books are created equal with some knocking it out of the park while others never get off the ground (diapers/pacifiers anyone? *shiver*). Thankfully this one spanked all the right notes with me. I LOVED it and I really wish it had been longer. 
I found this book to be well written and very well paced. This was my first Zoe Blake book but definitely won't be my last. The plot was engaging and kept me glued to the pages. The story itself felt quite well rounded considering this was a rather quick read. I would put its page length at slightly longer than a novella. As I mentioned above, I was enjoying this story and especially these two characters so much that I wished it had been even longer. The attraction between the two main characters was very instant. There is a bit of dub consent. There was no angst and no OW/OM drama. The sex scenes were SMOKIN' hot and plentiful.
There are no secondary characters to speak of, and both main characters were extremely likable. Logan was sex on a stick. Alpha. Hot. Badass. A sweet but firm Daddy Dom. My only quibble is I would have liked a bit more background on his character. I still don't know what exactly he did for a living OR his last name. Chloe was sweet with a side of naughty. The perfect little girl for Logan and she kept him on his toes. These two characters had amazing on page chemistry. Lastly, it was all wrapped up in an OK epilogue. I would have liked to have seen some , but I certainly wasn't disappointed with what the author left us with. This one gets two HUGE thumbs up from yours truly.

This is my first book from Zoe Blake but it certainly won't be my last. This was on the shorter side yet packed with a lot of intrigue and a huge amount of hotness. I really liked that there was still a storyline and not just a bunch of smutty scenes, it made it more enjoyable to get that story along with everything else. I liked both characters, especially when they were steaming up my Kindle. Really my only complaint was not getting a lot of information about them. There was a whole story playing out and yet I didn't know enough background information to fully understand what their motivation was for all the things going on.
This is a definite recommend from me for anyone that likes that little bit of DD/lg play in their books.

I started reading it and I knew it was familiar so I pulled up my Zoe Blake books and checked it out. I can't say if the whole book is exactly the same but the first few pages were verbatim.
It really angers me when an author does this. I feel like I am being sold old goods with a new cover. If an author does re-release a book and tells us in the description as Lexi Blake and Sierra Cartwright did - that is fine. Give us the choice if we want to check out the re-release. I often choose to do just that but to not mention it was formally known as a different title seems sneaky. Please tell readers the truth.

Now don't get me wrong, I'm all for a Daddy kink. But isn't the whole point of a submissive and a dominant supposed to be an earned and trusted position? How could that work in this book? Plus there's so much back story things are just thrown at you to make sense of what's currently going on. Not a fan

5 stars omg! despite it being a novella, i actually found the plot rather well written. even though there were times where it just didn't make sense, the overall flow was real good. this book has a rather heavy BDSM theme with
it isn't that dark for me but i actually like the Hero a lot even though he was a bastard in the front part. sex scenes were super hot, descriptions were great. and Hero took the entire ddlg VERY seriously.

This story reminded me a lot of Alexa Riley’s books. Insta-lust, alpha “heroes” and over the top situations. I say this as a good thing! Daddy’s Home was a story that I couldn’t truly process as something serious, but had to take on face value. It was a fun and smutty little read with a Daddy-Dom/baby girl kink thrown in.
The story does not have a build-up, but rather the reader is thrown into the fray from the start. Chloe was hiding from her past mistakes and a boyfriend who was now in jail. Having inadvertently stolen from him when she left, there were now unknown people looking for her to retrieve the possessions she didn’t even know she had.
Enter Logan. He’s huge and scary and dominant and sexy, and his pursuit of Chloe for the items she stole quickly turns sexual. This didn’t shock me for a book this length, which frankly needed to get down to business quickly if it was going to fit everything in. But what did surprise me was the amount of time it took for these two to morph into a Daddy Dom dynamic. I wasn’t sold on the fact that this came about so quickly. I’d buy a Dominant/submissive angle to their interactions, but the power exchange that they exhibited was a bit much for me based on the limited interactions these characters had with one another.
The book was wrapped up in a nice little bow, which I do like, but I felt like there was more that could have been done with the story itself. There was Logan’s background, which was surprising, and there was some gang politics which lost me. I would have loved to have seen a longer story which drew these out more thoroughly and grew the Daddy dynamic naturally.
However, for a story this size, it just wasn’t possible to fit all of this in. It was a cute little read with unrealistic characters, but a fun way to spend an hour or two. Basically I was just here for the sex. But again, I don’t say that like it’s a bad thing!

Chloe has had a rough past with no one ever really holding her accountable for her actions. Her last relationship, well let's just say it didn't end quite well. Running from her last boyfriend, with some of his things, wound end getting her into more trouble than she ever could have bargained for.
Logan was hired to recover something valuable from Chloe's ex boyfriend, in any way he needs to. Force, death, whatever makes it happen, his clients don't care. However Logan becomes extremely interested in Chloe and everything snowballs. Will getting the job done become number one, or will she become him number one?
This one....boy was it hot!! Chloe needed the structure and discipline from a young age but never received it. Logan stepping in, even as an adult, gave her something she never realized she needed and craved. Reading the explicit scenes that Ms. Blake wrote had me on the edge of my seat, writhing with want. Such an amazing read!! You won't want to miss this one!!

I'm not big on the 'Daddy' thing, but both MC's were entertaining and the suspense interesting.
Could have been better, but was still very enjoyable.
Lots of steamy scenes and plenty of suspense for a short 'ish read.
Things mostly moved along at a decent pace and both mc's kept me wanting to know more about them.

For those of you who enjoy some Daddy dom and spanking kink, I highly recommend this book. It’s one of the best I’ve ever read in the genre, featuring a H who has done thorough recon on (stalked) his target (the h) and takes over the situation she’s mired herself in in order to protect her. There’s some jealousy and a whole lot of possessiveness, and the h runs so the H has to pursue her which is another aspect I really enjoyed. This is a thrilling story and has put new-to-me author Zoe Blake on my radar.

the begining was quite exciting. yet there were some elements i did not enjoy. eventhough this came as no surprise but i absolutely did not like all those daddy/babygirl comments. the lovecoming was not hot at all either rather it was forceful and cringe worthy. mostly i enjoy an anti hero who is domineering but this one i came across as cruel and lacking all sweetness. Yeah my number 1 problem with this book is the hero's character. definitely not for me. a hero who loves hurting his female sexually supposedly to "fix" her and because she needs it or she's asking for it, who demands she calls daddy every single time such a hero is NOT for me. also if you enjoy a hero who dictates the heroine to speak, wear or behave a certain way, otherwise she'll be punished again then this is for you. obviously it was not my cup of tea

This one was my first experience with Zoe Blake and it was good!! It was a bit hard for me to follow at the beginning but I think that was more because of the secrecy around what both Chloe and Logan were doing. It was a good DD/lg book if you're looking for some Daddy kink to spice up your reading!

The h is great, a surprisingly successful killer. The H arrives just after she kills her ex, but when he plays her daddy, she can't resist his dominance. He loses his mind at first sight, she's the only one who has inspired his daddy dom vibe. One of the best age-play kink books I've read. I liked everything about this book, one of my favourites.

Now it is a matter of life and death, and she knows only one will make it out alive, she will have to do the unthinkable to survive. Along with her ex, Chad comes more trouble, and this time she will be at a disadvantage. Not only his past, but hers will be dissected, and there will be no hope for rescue.

Typical STOCKHOLM Syndrome (that’s what this was) and not in a good way

The h is a great character, a surprisingly successful killer. It was ex, and he was a bad man, so OK. Then the H turns up, she knows he's a killer but when plays her daddy and dominates her, she can't resist. He loses his mind at first sight, she's the only one who has inspired his daddy dom. One of the best age-play kink, good love story. I liked everything about this book, one of my favourites.

Great read if...you enjoy hot reads, daddy play, twists, and an HEA.
This book was so much more than I expected. While I knew it was going to be sexy AF, it provided so much more by giving me a story line I wouldn't have predicted. It had an easy flow. Plenty of action. And the hot scenes were just that. Daddy play books are a tricky rope to walk and I honestly think Zoe does it not only with grace but flare. Totally recommend.

So, yeah, this book. I don't think I have enough stars to give this book. It's dark, it's awesome, and it's intense. I loved every single word of this book. Chloe was an amazing heroine and I wish I could get to know Logan a little more personally.
Chloe has been in hiding from her past for two years. She's run far away from where she used to be in the hopes that no one can find her. Too bad that doesn't last.
After 2 years, Logan finds Chloe. She has something that he needs. Not only does she have something that Logan needs, she becomes something that Logan needs. He wants to take care of her, protect her, and give her the discipline that she needs. He wants to be her Daddy.
Logan is very intense. He is completely focused on Chloe at all times. I mean, total laser focus. He is so Alpha. He's mysterious and taciturn, so even when we see stuff from his POV, it's all about Chloe. I loved that.
There are a lot of great parts of this book, and it's amazingly awesome. I couldn't put it down when I was reading it, and I wanted to start reading it again immediately because the story really is that compelling. I was dragged in and didn't want to fight to get out. I was so sad when it ended because that meant I had to leave that world.

This is the third Zoe Blake book I've read, and I can say it was enjoyable enough to keep me reading even though Live PD was on the TV.
Logan was hard as titanium, sexy as sin, and about as hot for Chloe as a lava floe for Oahu. The story was intriguing, the characters had dimension, and the happily ever after was sweet. I've always loved the possessive, protective, ultra faithful alpha males--as long as they aren't pussy whipped, which Logan isn't.
While I liked the story, there were a few things that bothered me. First, what the hell is the man's last name?! Why is that a secret? It does nothing to add to the intrigue, especially when the end of the book should clear up that bit of missing information. Second, what the hell does Logan do for a living? He some sort of "finder"? Is he part of a government agency? Is he a former SEAL? We get to the end of the book and know absolutely nothing of consequence about the "hero". It left a bad taste in my mouth. Third, there are a few spelling errors, but I know Zoe's editor will clean that up with her final pass before official publication.
Overall, I was pleased with the book. It hit all my dark, secret places, and left me tingling.

I'm not going to lie. The story actually had a plot not just smut
The Mmc is very honest when he says he is a terrible person
"Yeah, he was a sick bastard, but he had no intention of relenting. Her fate was sealed the moment she became his target. His prey. He was enjoying this too much to stop now."
His spanking is very excessive. But he's a good cook. Middle of the book, he became nice.
Chloe gave him a peck on the cheek. “You come off as all mean and dangerous, but you can really be a softy, you know?”
WHAT!!!!!
Anyway, this man is a bad a** He literally used a rock against 3 armed men.
I hated that chole the fmc like wearing children clothes. It was mentioned a few times, but it still made me cringed a little. It got worse when Mmc didn't allow her to rent grown-up movies. He only wants her to watch Disney movies. He is taking role playing seriously, even out the bedroom.
By the end of the book, there is a scene that seems too brutal. One word anal beads. I was reading this with my mouth open thinking how is it possible.
