He moved to Helsinki, Finland with his Finnish wife and two beautiful daughters 20 years ago. He now spends much of his time living in Florida, struggling to adapt to life in what often seems like a foreign country. The years spent in Europe gave him new eyes through which to see the U.S. That, plus the time spent freelancing as a ghostwriter of book reports for lazy third graders, make him uniquely qualified to serve as Chronicler-in-Chief of the Oh Daddy Chronicles.

“Oh Daddy Chronicles 2: Return of Covfefe,” is the second book in the hilarious Oh Daddy Chronicles. This is perfect political satire that covers Trump’s transition from President Trump back to plain, old citizen Trump.
Readers follow along as he moves from the White House to Mar-a-Lago mansion. While the first story begins on the day Trump is leaving office, it is divided into sections that are presented as “episodes” and they jump around in time. Each section stands on its own and presents the author’s humorous take on how things might have really happened. For example, he has Bernie Sanders visiting Trump on his last day. (What a memorable conversation, right?)
Robbins presents a hysterical episode about surprises that were left behind for the incoming Bidens at the White House. Scenes with a slew of protagonists and antagonists, such as Trump’s family, AOC, Conway, Cruz, McConnell, Rubio, Putin and Pelosi, who make up the cast of supporting characters. And issues like election fraud and COVID-19, which is referred to as “The Chinese Virus,” factor into these episodes.
Readers who relish political spoofs will really enjoy Barry Robbins’ “Oh Daddy Chronicles 2: Return of Covfefe.” Written before the “Let’s Go Brandon” movement, we don’t get to see the author’s creative ideas on that, but he sure covers a lot of other events! My favorite episode was focused on Trump and Melania’s travel to other countries while looking for a new place to live. Robbins had me laughing out loud, especially when he did a scene at the Leaning Tower of Pisa. I also appreciated that he often included editors’ notes where he provided information about actual events.
Injecting humor into recent controversies helps lighten up some pretty dark times that we have recently experienced. I found it therapeutic to step outside of my reality and look at politics through the talented eyes and “voice” of Barry Robbins. His sarcasm and wit will have most readers laughing out loud. I would like to see him continue to write about politics because the current administration is providing plenty of material, and I would love to see his imagination in action again. In addition, the two books in the Oh Daddy Chronicles, thus far, would make a perfect gift, either for someone you want to make laugh out loud, or someone you really wish to annoy. It just depends upon your goal and their political views. Have fun!

A brilliant follow-up to a fantastic contemporary satire that reflects the central figures of our political scene today. The humor and wit with which the author delivers these scenes and the characterization of political figures like Trump, Vladimir Putin, Joe Biden, and more was not only hilarious but somehow captured the essence and tone of their behavior and actions over the last few years.
One thing that stood out in this read, much like in the first book, was the author’s ability to balance the humorous character interactions with the contemporary real-world issues that we are still facing to this day. From the attack on the Capitol Building to COVID and the pandemic as a whole, the author finds a creative way to not only criticize the ridiculous nature of some of these individuals but to bring humor and a much-needed break from the reality of the life we are all living right now.

A masterful, well-written, and hilarious sequel to Oh Daddy Chronicles, author Barry Robbins’s “Oh Daddy Chronicles 2: Return of Covfefe is a must-read satire read. Solidly witty
“Despite the negative press covfefe”…Trump is the only politician or celebrity in such high standing I know that was typing and posting tweets so quickly that substantial typos and nonsense go unnoticed. Some people say that Trump haters latched onto the word too much, but actually this one occurrence summed up Trump`s presidency perfectly. The reason? Because his supporters, like Sean Spicer, insisted that it was not a mistake, that it made sense to Trump and his followers, and even started to veer into the argument that it was purposeful.
If that frustrated you, entertained you, or even if you can just take a joke, you’ll enjoy Oh Daddy Chronicles 2: Return of Covfefe by Barry Robbins. Unfortunately, covfefe wasn’t Trump’s only blunder, and Barry Robbins visits the former president’s time in office with brilliantly written wit and sarcasm. The satire is smooth and enjoyable to read, and I think it invokes a much-needed reflection in preparation for Trump’s potential rerun in 2024.

Barry Robbins is a retired Certified Public Accountant that has spent most of his life living abroad which helped him have a different perspective of his country, the United States. Robbins is the author of Oh Daddy Chronicles one and two. They are both contemporary political satires with the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, as its main character. The second book, Oh Daddy Chronicles 2: Return of Covfefe has 47 chapters that focus on different targets.
I have to say I really enjoyed this book! The story connects well with the first book, but all episodes have different issues, which is very smart. There were some really fun ones and others that despite the laugh, can be upsetting, as well. I always say it is better to laugh than to cry and this book is just that! It is a perfect satirical book that kept my mind off things while reading it! Very interesting!! Solid read!

Funny and witty!
Even though the main character is based on a real person, the antics and situations that occur are quite funny. One thing I noticed about this book is that the author chose to call the chapters “episodes”. This made so much sense to me as life is a long series that we can split into episodes. The humor and wit shined wonderfully as I read the book. It seemed more skit-like overall as opposed to an actual novel. Although the situations present in each episode went well together, they could still hold their own as little anecdotes that could be read as stand-alone. I loved the supporting characters and their names. There are other well-known people present in this book and they are each a character in their own right. I loved the story and all the characters, especially the portrayal of some of the characters. If the reader is looking for something funny and does not mind the subject of the book, then this is the book I would recommend!

Satires are always funny and also make us think at the same time. Political Satires are not rare now and one such is 'Oh Daddy Chronicles 2: Return of Covfefe' by Barry Robbins. It is mainly focused on the 45th president of the United States. It's visible that even though Trump has moved to Florida, he hasn't changed a bit. The book consists of Forty-seven skit chapters. This engaging book is filled with absurd wits and humor. The author has, in a way, done the criticism for the president and presented it funnily.
I had a hilarious laughing experience while reading the book. It is a must-read because in this busy schedule of life this book will exactly make us laugh and think a little bit.

In this second book, the scenario changes from the White House to Mar a Lago were Robbins delights us with a satire narration. But not all the focus goes to the main character, there are also some witty, hilarious characters that interact in a very original and laughable way throughout the book, making the narration very interesting.

“Return of Covfefe” is the much expected second part of the “Oh Daddy” chronicles written by the wonderful Barry Robbins. I really admire the author’s talent to write these satirical episodes. They're clever and funny and they help readers reflect about our reality.
I have never read a book like this before and at the beginning I wasn’t sure about it. However, as I read it, I found it more and more compelling to the point I couldn’t stop reading the 47 episodes that compose the book until I finished them. I enjoyed it a lot. I recommended it to family and friends who like this kind of political and social parodies and they loved the book, too.

Not a children’s book!
An at times hilarious political satire if you don’t mind Trump being at the centre of the author’s jibes.
I found this book quite different to many others satirical books I have read. It is both sharper of wit and knowledgable of political affairs.
I give this four stars only because there were a number of political remarks and comments I did not get due to not being up to date with all the shenanigans that take place in US politics.

Barry Robbins has an interesting perspective on things.
In his book Oh Daddy Chronicles 2: Return of Covfefe, he offers a contemporary political satire that has former President Trump very much the focus of attention.
The book is both funny yet vexing at times. On the whole, a worthwhile satire to read.

I had some fun reading this book. Barry Robbins, a retired CPA, who has lived abroad, gives a new view of politics in America, especially relating to Trump.
If you don’t mind having a good laugh at Trump, you should enjoy this one.
