“Resilience: The Mars Frontier Series Book 4” by Paul Rix The title of this novel describes the attitude of both the heroine, Georgia Pyke, and the colonists living in the Mars colony. There is definitely additional story material and I encourage Paul Rix to consider a fifth novel. I would love to read about what happens to Georgia Pyke in the Confederacy, the outcome of the two sisters in astronaut training and what Jackson discovered in the Martian cavern. The ending was enjoyable. Paul Rix, please hire a proofreader if you publish a sequel.
Lost me when Georgia's special power was revealed.
Resilience by Paul Rix
This series had me hooked with the hard science, realistic political dealings, and believable characters, but when Georgia's special power was discovered I lost interest. Too bad because I really want to know what Jackson almost discovered in the sinkhole.
I have really enjoyed this series so far. It was a compelling story. The only thing that kept me from giving it five stars were the typos but those are the proofreader’s fault.
Ended up being a bit predictable but was a great story right to the end. Would be interested to see is there will be books on Georgia's life with the aliens.
At the base mars things are going with lots of challenges as expected! But challenge s lie ahead haven't even entered their minds! Establishing the base will have many challenges but it seems they are not alone!
This is book four of a series worth reading. Great story. Shame on whomever missed the typos, time line issues and just plain silliness that dims the story a bit
