As she documents her deepest thoughts and rawest conversations with God, the feelings that she shares are real, honest and unquestionably inspiring. With multiple bible verses and gentle prompts that accompany the more than 40 devotions, Even in Darkness serves as an excellent grief recovery handbook for those who are suffering with depression and hopelessness. Follow the author through her own feelings of grief, as she draws the reader closer to God by courageously speaking the truth and reminding Christians that they are not alone. This book is meant to help with grief and loss. Even though I am not experiencing grief or loss, I found this book helpful. I am going through depression and this book helped with my depression. It is a good devotional for hard and unhappy times.
