Too like cliff notes not enough depth & development

Its a very cute, entertaining book but everything seems to happen in like warp speed.

Its a book with so much potential from a creative & captive storyline that unfortunately ends up falling well short. Lacking development , details & intimacy in the scenes, characters & situations leaves it feeling more like a summary or outline—not a finished book. Everything seemed to happen in like warp speed & with no emotions or imagery to connect to.

Would've loved if the author developed & expounded on the characters & the narrative more. In the end, despite comments & critiques, I honestly did still enjoy reading this book.

Edits needed

I would have given a better rating but there was just too much editing that needed to be done. Most authors have some editing needed but this seemed to have more than other books I have read by her.
