Silk & Chops

Even with some inconsistencies in the story as it pertains to Tori's slowly returning memories and corrections to her prior assumptions, this is still a cute and extremely hot novella. Benji may be a big guy but he is truly 100% sweetheart who packs a lot of meat. Hey! Get your mind out of the gutter. He's a butcher! ...OK, so maybe I was also referring to the other kind. 🤷😂🔥💜😘

I thought Benji and Tori were good characters who had good chemistry, connection and dialogue. I liked how things came to a head, allowing them to face up to their feelings and it added some drama to their story. I thought they were good together and I enjoyed their journey.

This is an entertaining instalove novella, fast-paced and quick to read. Tori and Benji meet when Tori moves to town and opens an underwear store next to his butchery..they have an instant connection but a rocky start..I battled to like Tori in the begging however by the time I finished the book she had won me over.

Tori with her sassy mouth was perfect for Benji. With one look they were both hooked, but Tori fought it while Benji embraced it. I especially loved how her true feelings come out after her accident.

My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.

Tori moves to a small town to start over again after her mother dies. She has alway been a spoiled princess, her mother was a world famous model and her father a famous photographer, but when her mom became sick and died her father moved on to a new muse, leaving Tori to grieve alone. She realized her life was superficial and none of her mother’s or her friends hung around afterwards. She takes her inheritance and decides to open a lingerie shop in her new home town. The day she moves into her shop she meets Benji, he owns the butcher shop across from hers. The attraction between them is instant but she doesn’t acknowledge it, instead when Benji is kind to her she is snarky to him. This goes on for months, he watches out for her and tells her to be safe and she is always snarky towards him. One day she confronts him in his shop and for some reason is not snarky but he is done being nice to her and is a little rude to her. She leaves his shop and collapses next to her car. He rushes out and goes with her to the hospital. When she awakens she doesn’t understand why she is not wearing her wedding ring, and then notices Benji is not wearing his either. She questions him, he realizes she thinks they are married. Knowing she is having memory loss and worried for her the doctors tell him to go along with her. Benji is not sure about it but does feel very protective of her so he agrees to let her think they are married. He takes her to his house where he thinks she will figure it out but she doesn’t question anything and is happy to be home with him. She feels safe and happy when he is with her. Benji tries to be the good guy and stay away from her since he know she doesn’t like him, if he sleeps with her it will just be worse when she remembers. But she wears him down and they enjoy sexy times, she tells him she loves him. Scared of what will happen when she remembers he tells her good or bad he loves her too. She slowly starts to remember and when she visits him at his shop she remembers almost everything. She remembers she has her own place and that they are not married. They go to her place and see that at night a portion of the ceiling had fallen on her head and later when she was angry with him her headache became to intense and she passed out. Lots for I love yous, more sexy times and an epilogue with them married and expecting.
I liked Benji from the beginning, Tori was a little harder to warm up to, but I loved how her true feelings came out when she had amnesia. You saw how loving she could be.Thankfully that is the personality that stayed once she remembered everything.

Remembering What Matters . . .

Tori Beckett is bored and moves to Harmony Hollow to experience the small town life for a change of pace. Benji Hooks is a local butcher in the shop next to her lingerie storefront. As soon as he sees Tori, he is immediately attracted. Yet she is mouthy, sassy, and downright rude toward him for no reason.

After another of their arguments, Benji finds her collapsed beside her car. He calls out to another shopkeeper, Stella, to call an ambulance while he stays with her. There is no sign of an attack or a car accident. Stella told him she saw her just collapse while she was cursing about Benji and keys. As Tori moves in his arms, he expects her to shove him away, but she instead cuddles into his chest with a soft sound of contentment. Her eyes open and she actually smiles at him!

At the hospital, Tori is confused about what happened, but she knows Benji and she knows she is safe. But where is her wedding band? Why is it not on her finger? And why isn’t he wearing his ring either? They are married, even though she can’t remember their last name. She adores this man and knows he loves her. She tries to remember things, and finally pulls him down to kiss her. So before things go further, he decides to explain to her that the doctor says she has a concussion and her memories could come back over time. Before he tells her they are not married, the doctor comes in and tells him to go along with it for now since he has become her “safe place” while she heals. Taking her “home” to his house should make him feel guilty… but it doesn’t. Where is this experience going to lead them? When will she remember she hates him? Or will they by then both be happy to be with someone they love and who loves them back completely?

'Forgot & Found' by Dee Ellis is the third book in the new multi-author series 'Unforgettable' and tells the story of Tori, who just moved to town and opened a lingerie store, and Benji, whose butcher shop is next door to Tori's store. Benji finds Tory attractive but doesn't like her sanctimonious attitude. If she doesn't like small towns why did she move to Harmony Hallow? Then Benji finds Tori collapsed next to her car but couldn't find a reason as to why she fainted. At the hospital Tori ask Benji to stay with her and then ask him where her wedding ring is and where his wedding ring is. Turns out Tori has a concussion but in her fugue state she's thinks that they are married. The doctors advise Benji to go along with Tori's belief, otherwise it could be detrimental to her health. Benji agrees and just hopes he'll be able to avoid temptation.

Ms. Ellis has written a fab addition to the series. Benji was so sweet and caring to Tori while she was recovering. This story has drama, suspense, laughs, and plenty of heat. I enjoyed this book and recommend it to anyone who likes a quick but satisfying read.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! This is book is part of the Unforgettable series why just read one when you can start at the beginning and keep reading through the series it won’t be a waste of time. Benji sexy as all get out local butcher in the small town of Harmony Hollow and every single girl (some taken but shhhhh) wants his prime meat 😊. He notices the new girl who opened a store across the street and instantly he wants to get to know her. Tori is intelligent, deciding to move to small town Harmony but her sassy attitude and mouth has landed her on the wrong side of the sexy as all get out butcher next door, she makes him feel small in his own small town. Despite not getting along the chemistry is insanely intense and the magnetic pull can’t be ignored but when Tori forgets everything she wakes insisting they are married what’s a guy to do when her memory comes bac will she still want him, can he make a lasting impression and can they find happiness?

What a different but beautiful love story

I listed this book as being different because I don't remember reading a book where one character loses their memory without being told how right from the beginning. Benji is the local butcher where all the women in town go to try their luck on winning him. Tori moved to town to start her life over. She was the daughter of a well known model and a very important father. Her mother became ill, her father left them and then her mother passed. She had money, her mother's beloved car and memories of her father leaving. When she met Benji, she knew he was someone that could mean everything to her but she fought it. You'll have to read everything they go through, why she's mean to him every day. How she lost her memory. Benji is a good guy through the whole thing. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I have. Tori came riding into Harmony Hollow in her convertible, with a smart mouth and sassy attitude. Benji takes one look at her and he knows she is what he needs. It looks like she is just as interested and then she gives him attitude. Benji is polite to her all the time and she is down right nasty to him all the time.

Until one day he has had enough and is mean right back to her, she leaves his store and has an accident. When she wakes she thinks he is her husband, what can possibly go wrong?

This is part of Unforgettable Series: series written by eight different authors. This is a sweet and steamy scenes short read, standalone and HEA. Loved this story, Benji is so kind hearted and the grumpy one is really Tori.

Tori is looking for a new life after the desertion of her father and death of her mother, and despite her instant attraction to Benji, something about his immediate protectiveness rubs her the wrong way and they start off more adversaries than friends. However, when a freak incident leaves her without her memory, she thinks Benji is her husband. This is an entertaining, original, steamy love story with two very engaging characters!

Tori is looking for a new start after her Mother’s death. She moves to a small town and opens up a shop where she sells fancy under garments. Benji has a butcher shop across from her. From day one he tries to get to know her but she has a sassy mouth and is not nice at all. They finally get into a big yelling match and she stalks away. Benji goes after her and finds her laying in the road.
Not sure what happened he takes her to the hospital and there he finds out that she has lost her memory. Since she needs someone to care for her, he takes her to his house. Things start to heat up between them. She finally gets her memory back and the two of them no longer bicker with each other, but they do find their HEA.

Tired of LA, Tori leaves for Harmony Hollow and her new lingerie shop. Across the way is Benji and his butcher shop. She's got a smart mouth, and couldn't possibly be attracted to him - he thinks she's hot, but could do without her sass. She loses her memory as a result of a concussion, and believes that they're married. And the real fun begins... All best are off when her memory returns. It's quite an entertaining story, a nice twist on the grumpy hero. I think she was a little hard on him, even to the point of being rude at times. But it all works out for them. Tori moved from the big city and her rich life to a small town and started a lingerie store right across from the butcher shop run by Benji. Both have strong feelings, but outwardly she acts badly to him. One day she passes at the front of the store and Benji is the one who holds her and gets her help. Diagnosed with amnesia, she has forgotten everything except for him and thinks they are married.
The characters are rich with great backstories and intense feelings. The storyline was well written, with plenty of drama, surprises, romance and more. Great ending and epilogue.

Forgot & Found is a great addition to the unique series that has you wanting to know what will happen next. Tori has just moved to town, after the loss of her mother, although she feels something for Benji, she keeps her walks up to protect herself. Benji is the town's butcher. There is something about his new neighbor that gets under his skin, but he can't let it go. When Tori gets hurt, he is the first person there for her.

I love how this story is laid out, as the truth of Tori and Benji's feeling come out and as they navigate through her memory lost your heart begins to melt.

Benji Hooks is the local butcher in Harmony Hollow. He sees the new girl across the street and instantly is smitten. Too bad he rubs her the wrong way.

Tori Becket is new to Harmony Hollow. She recently opened her lingerie shop and likes to look at the butcher. After an accident happens, she's still married to him, right?

Loved this short and sweet story! I loved how this was not the typical sunshine/grump story in that the grump of the story was her and he was the little ray of sunshine. Really enjoyed the banter between them!

I received an ARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving my review. This story, in the multi author Unforgettable series, is about Benji and Tori. These two rub each other wrong at first. It was not necessarily about her being in a small town, more so about her attitude. They both are attracted to each other underneath it all. Tori losses her memory and believes that her and Benji are together. That creates some laughs and steam. It was a good short story. The characters were perfect for each other.

Lovely, sassy and sexy hot story.
Tori I was not a fan of from the beginning but Benji had me absolutely sold. He is a saint and super patient with Tori but one we get further along and understand what is happening with Tori and her story I definitely enjoyed it and her more. This is a short and sweet but still hot and spicy novella that had a great amount of emotion in it, allowing me to be super invested. It's insta love but consistent and keeps you captivated tot he end. Can't wait to see what Dee has for us next.

This story had me hooked from the beginning. Tori’s character irritated me at first but Benji had me instantly. As their story develops and we’re pulled deeper in I couldn’t control the roller coaster ride of emotions I was feeling. Tori revealing what she feels in her heart had me doing a complete turn around with her and I was cheering both of them on from that point forward. An insta love romance that has a nice steady pace that keeps you captivated until the very end.

I thought that this was an awesome book. I loved Tori and Benji together. I loved the connection, tension, and chemistry between these two. This was a short and sweet book with kind of a grumpy/sweet opposites attraction but in reverse! I had a blast reading to book and I thought that this was a really good addition to this series. I would recommend this book and Ms. Dee as a must read author!

A cute short romance when next door shop keepers have a tumultuous relationship. Tori moves into a new town to get over some grief and emotional loss, why Benji tries to be welcoming as he is insanely attracted to her. When an unexpected accident happens Tori turns to the only person she feels comfortable with, can Benji tell her the truth or keep it hidden instead of risk losing what has just begun.

Remembering her sausage guy

Forgot & Found by Dee Ellis is part of the multi-author Unforgettable series. This story about opposites attract made me laugh as Tori Beckett and Benji Hooks butt heads and mouths....and later on other parts. Can a lingerie store and a butcher shop coexist side by side? The stores may but the owners seem to butt heads at every turn. That is until an accident leaves Tori thinking Benji is her husband and then things will get interesting.

This was a cute amnesia story with an interesting twist. Tori had a strange reaction to her concussion she forgot reality but she remembered her chemistry with Benji but she was sure he was her husband. I loved how Benji fought himself to be respectful of Tori. I was not able to put this story down.

Ayyy. This book reminds me of that one movie. I cant remember the name of it though. I love this book so much. I love how Benji takes care of Tori after her accident, even after all the bickering (it was all sexual tension we could all feel that lol) I'm glad that after all of that, they got their HEA.
