Après 2 semaines, il est enfin terminé !
Oufff quel lecture!!! Elle était interminable à cause de sa mise en page. Police d’écriture petite, page pleine et aucun espace entre les chapitres. Malgré cela, l’auteur a su tenir en haleine le lecteur tout au long de l’histoire. Il n’y avait pas de temps mort.
En ce qui concerne l’histoire, au début, j’étais très mitigée. Je suis conscience du contexte historique de l’histoire, mais les viols consécutifs du mari sur la jeune épouse étaient quelque peu perturbants et par la suite, on nous introduit plusieurs personnages ce qui devient lourd.
Après plus de 200 pages, je rencontre ENFIN un personnage pour qui je ressens un certain attachement et que j’apprécie.
Bref, ce livre me laisse un peu indifférente au final.

Not at all what I was expecting, but a relatively gripping read nonetheless. Not something I would normally read but the writer did a good job of sucking me in so I had to find out what happened.
