Gideon and Jada's story kept me up late with an impossible to resist combination of fiery heat, taut tension, exciting suspense, thrilling action, can't look away drama and heart. I loved these two. Their chemistry and sparks were eclectic. If you're looking for a book that will steal your breath, raise your temperature, have your pulse pounding and consume you to the point you will put off ANYTHING to keep reading, you can stop looking because you've found just the book. This is my unbiased, freely posted review. review.

Gotta say right out of the chute that I loved everything about Jada Harlow. Her shoe obsession, her treasured purse, her brilliance, her take no prisoners banter and sassiness. She's perfect for Gideon Smith. It just takes him a while to get there. He's a man with deep regrets and quite a few demons. A maniacal mastermind is bent on revenge and as a result Jada is caught in the crosshairs. It takes Gideon, Jada, Kane, Clint & Lydia as well as a few others to work out the details and then formulate a plan but they make it happen. This book is heavy on suspense and intrigue. I did find myself holding my breath a couple of times though in anticipation of what I thought might happen. I loved it!!

Her Unflinching Warrior is the second book in the Omega Sky series by Caitlyn O’Leary and is the story of Gideon and Jada. Gideon and Jada met in Defending Home where the two help Nolan rescue Gianna. Gideon is the computers and communications guy for Omega Sky and Jada is also a tech genius. The book starts off with Gideon’s tragic backstory (or at least a part of it) then we jump to the action quickly as he gets a call from Jada that she is in trouble and then the line goes dead. While Gideon and Jada have a bit of challenging recent past – he broke her heart (for what he thought were the right reasons) he will do everything he can to protect her. Gideon is able to rescue Jada, but she is justifiable hesitant to trust Gideon with anything beyond her physical safety.
As Gideon works to win her back, they work with computer experts from all the other SEAL teams (and in some case’s the very talented women in their lives) to determine why Jada was abducted. Despite all their efforts, they remain a step behind the bad guys for much of the story and both Gideon and Jada are put in jeopardy more than once. When Gideon realizes that demons from his past have come back for him, he has to fight through his guilt and outsmart his enemy.
The plot for this book is half romance and half thriller and executes both parts exceedingly well. The romance is sweet and the prose is almost lyrical. The sweetness of the love between Gideon and Jada beautifully offsets the danger and evil they face. The thriller elements move at a breakneck speed as the story comes to a conclusion and enemy is perhaps the most evil of any in this author’s previous books.
This is a great series and I am looking forward to reading the stories about the rest of the team. While this is a complete stand-alone, we do hear about character from earlier books and get updates on their lives.

Less Enemies to Lovers and more he-put-his-big-foot-in-it!
Gideon had a tough start and he made some very adult choices to save his family and when he finally managed to get out from under, he made a name for himself in Tech before joining the SEALs. But he still sees himself as not quite worthy of his success and has a very fractured relationship with his mother, although he and his brother are reunited.
Unlike Gideon, Jada has a huge extended family and although they are spread-out in age and geographically, they are all up in her business! She and Gideon are both Godparents to the same kid but she has done a fine job of staying out of his way when she visited. He really screwed the pooch with her and she's not about to give him another go at kicking her when she's down.
The plot involves the murky world of tech being used in trafficking and the dark web. Jada finds something she shouldn't and she knows this is much bigger than she can handle on her own and turns to the one person she knows who can help - even though it pains her to do so, - Gideon.
OMW I loved this clutch of techie geniuses! We get to meet all the team's gurus and those that they are married/engaged to. It was great getting to see them again - the zoom meetings and introductions had been snorting in a very unladylike fashion LOL
The humour is on point and, of course, the passion is red hot! Jada is suitably independent but with a common sense streak. She certainly gives as good as she gets and Gideon does not get off easy. Bonus points for Gideon's dog Lucy - she is a fab chaperone and babysitter - (I'll admit I googled the breed so I could "see" her in my head).

Her Unflinching Warrior is Book 2 in the Omega Sky Series by Caitlyn O’Leary, chronicling the action-packed romantic suspense story of Jada and Gideon. I was hooked from the heart wrenching prologue, where we get a peek at Gideon’s mysterious past that helped shape the amazing, yet complicated man he is! Jada’s work as a cyber security specialist lands her in the crosshairs, when she digs a little too deep in the wrong place, requiring her to call Gideon for help, despite their rocky past. This book has everything— so much drama, action, mind numbing plot twists, phenomenal world building, character comradery, and blazing hot chemistry! It’s always interesting when guys from the different Teams can collaborate on a mission, even though it’s a high stakes situation with possible kidnappings and such, there are always laughs to be had at some point with those guys. Plus, it’s just awesome they way they work together to accomplish their objectives. There were a lot of high emotions in this book, and situations that could leave both physical and emotional scars. The author handled all these situations beautifully, and the way the characters supported each other was top notch. The best part, for me, was seeing Gideon break free from his own demons to accept that he could love Jada and watch that relationship flourish through the chaos. This was a high octane ride for sure, the plot twists still have have me rubbing my head wondering how she comes up with this stuff! I can’t wait for the next one!!

Wowzers, what a wild ride!!!
Absolutely adored this book. I loved sinking back into the world
Of Omega Sky.
Gideon is so yummy I could eat him for every meal. He’s such a beautiful complex character. His past and the fallout of his actions have affected every part of his life. His team is his family, and as beautiful as that is it made me ache to see his distance from his own family. It’s sad and so relatable that in doing what he felt to be right, to protect those he loved produced ramifications that stayed forever. Gideon is a total alpha male. His protective streaks consume you. Such a brilliant character. Watching him learn to understand that he was good enough for Java. The guilt from his past wasn’t his to own, he is a man of morals and dedication to his brother-in-arms and to those in need us unparalleled.
Jada is a fantastic kickass character. Her wit and sarcasm were absolutely hilarious and applaud worthy. She’s a stunning woman with a beautiful soul. She’s proud and caring, loving yet prickly. I love her devotion to her friends and family. Her strength of character to continue on her quest despite the danger gunning for her is awe inspiring.
Watching Jada and Gideon find their way to each other touched the depths of my very soul. It was everything I could ever want. Their chemistry off the charts and the spark between them more than enough to light up the darkest tunnel.
Couldn’t recommend highly enough.

This is book 2 in the Omega Sky series but it could potentially be read as a stand alone, although I recommend reading at least the first book before this one. It is also loosely connected to this author's other series, as characters are seen and mentioned from those series. In this one we get Gideon and Jada's story. Gideon and Jada had a connection until he hurt her feelings to push her away. But when she calls him panicked, he doesn't hesitate to jump into action to find her and make sure she is ok. But he doesn't plan on the trouble she found to be as big as it turns out to be.
I absolutely loved this story! Jada and Gideon have this chemistry that you can't help but love. But they are also fully lovable characters on their own. Jada isn't afraid to help right wrongs, and is almost compulsive about digging into facts. But it also makes her the "nerd" you love! She is sweet and strong but also has this vulnerable side that made me adore her. Gideon has issues just from what happened to him as a youth. And it was completely heart breaking. But he also became a strong and intelligent man who didn't let his past define him. I loved everything about him! Including what he had to do to protect the ones he loved! I adore Caitlyn O’Leary books and each new Seal Team worms their way into my affections and heart - Omega Sky are now firmly in residence! Her Unflinching Warrior is an action-packed complex story that will keep you enthralled with each plot twist. Gideon and Jada are both big strong characters you will fall in love with, the chemistry between these two computer/tech geniuses is intense and they are meant to be. But first they’ve got some serious obstacles to overcome. The plot revolves around the cyber world and as a bonus brings in all the other tech gurus & tech guru spouses from the rest of the Teams.
There is the usual humour amongst the Team, an adorable dog, fabulous characters, plenty of action and suspense, some fairly evil bad guys and an around excellent story. Added bonus we get a good glimpse at both Ryker and Nolan in this book and we don’t have to wait too long before we get their stories too - can’t wait! Thank you Caitlyn, I so enjoyed this book and thoroughly recommend it to anyone who loves romantic suspense.

Her Unflinching Warrior by Caitlyn O'Leary is the second book in the Omega Sky series and probably the least "Navy SEAL" genre the author has written to date. This is a story focused more on Cyber Espionage and the SEAL element is by product of relationship with a kidnap victim who reaches out for help. Naturally, there is a deeply emotional element that tugs at the heart strings regarding Gideon’s past, but it wasn’t enough for me to connect with his character as an adult. Jada is a strong and independent young woman who is determined to close her heart against future heartbreak, but caves easily after being treated poorly by Gideon in the past. I’m not a fan of “Daddy” stories, and Gideon came across more as an overbearing parent treating Jada like a belligerent child one minute, then trying to cajole her the next by talking to her in a calm non threatening manner. This story will obviously appeal to many readers, but it’s the first book of Ms O’Leary’s that I pushed myself to finish.

Wow! Caitlyn takes you on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and suspense in this quick pace book. It is full of twist and turns that keep you thinking and wondering what will happen next.
I love Gideon and Jada. They are such great characters with wonderful personalities. Gideon was thrown into the world alone at the age of 14. He over came obstacles and came over on the other side stronger, smarter and slightly damaged. Jada grew up in a large loving military family. She is a strong women who is able to take care of herself. Together they are explosive in the bedroom and compliment each other’s personality.
I also love that the tech geniuses from the other Seal teams play a large part of book along with the Omega team. It feels like visiting old friends while getting to know the Omega team.
I recommend this good to anyone who enjoys romantic suspense. I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a honest review.

I could not put this book down! It has everything you could want in a book. Danger, drama, action, and suspense. Computer geniuses are definitely not in short supply. We get to visit with the tech experts from all the teams in Caitlyn's universe and their wives. Gideon and Jada met at his best friend and Lieutenant's wedding. Basically, he stuck his big foot in his mouth and messed up what could be a beautiful relationship. Jada called Gideon in an act of desperation, because someone is determined to get her out of the way. The race is on to find her before it is too late. Afterwards, Gideon and Jada clear the air after their misunderstanding. Next order of business is to stop a madman before he causes destruction to an entire state. Can Jada and Gideon work through the obstacles in their path to get the HEA they deserve? Get this book ASAP and find out. Sorry, no spoilers. I received this ARC and here is my honest review.

And now when find out what has been guiding his actions. I live seeing him push past his guilt as he fights for a second chance. I loved seeing the support from his friends as he fights to protect more than Jada. I love the strength Jada shows as she strives to move past her pain to see Gideon's. I love that Ms. O'Leary gave us an unapologetically smart and strong woman in Jada. I love the compassion she shows even as she fights for her man.
This is a wonderful addition to this series which I thoroughly enjoyed and I am looking forward to more in this world Ms. O'Leary has created.

Jada is a software engineer and is hired to do a job but she realizes there is more going on so she calls the only person she knows that will help, Gideon.
With all the twist and turns and OMG's, this was by far one of my favorites from Caitlyn O'Leary. This was a major page turner for me, I couldn't put this one down until I was at the last page then I wanted more!
I love the banter between teammates and the other SEAL teams, some fan favorites return to help Gideon and Jada and Gideon's pup Lucy is a major scene stealer! Can't wait for the next Omega Sky book! Start this series, these Navy SEAL men will drop anything to help the women they love and the women are strong, independent, intelligent people who aren't afraid to take their alpha men down a peg or two.

Months before Gideon made the mistake of pushing Jada away. With everything going on, Jada forgives him quickly, especially after hearing about his past. Lucky for Gideon since they are plunged into a dangerous situation and they need to focus on stopping his enemy.
I really like Jada. She is intelligent and bold. She has every reason to be angry with Gideon but is compassionate enough to understand how his past messed with him and led to him pushing her away. She certainly isn't a pushover. Gideon was put in a situation at a young age he couldn't combat. He did the best he could and carried the guilt for so long. Jada and his team help him realize that he had nothing to feel guilty over.

Her Unflinching Warrior is the second book in the Omega Sky series, and it was great. I flew right through it. This book is a rollercoaster ride of suspense that covers all the feels. Gideon is an older man with a lot of guilt about his life. He thinks that these are reasons that he should stay away from Jada. It takes time and effort to get over the hurt, but Gideon and Jada realize that their relationship is worth fighting for. Jada and Gideon are both computer wizards, and they work together to take down an evil plot. Their feelings grow as they work together. Both of them have strong personalities, and their interaction is awesome. Caitlyn O’Leary writes great characters that aren’t perfect. This is the second book in this series and incidentally it is about the 2IC of Omega Sky Seal Team. Gideon Smith is the tech person for his team and he is highly skilled in fact he made a name for himself in Silicon valley before he even joined the Seals but he has a serious lack of confidence in himself He had to make some very adult choices to save his family when he was only 14 and they have affected how he looks at himself ever since. This affects his life to the point that even when he met Jada Harlow the woman he knew he would love for the rest of his life he turned her away breaking her heart in the process. Now danger is stalking her and Gideon will do whatever he needs to in an effort to keep her safe and in so doing will have to face his past and in doing so can he start to build a future

Gideon screwed up with Jada approximately 5 months ago. When he gets an emergency call from her he gets a second chance at making things better.
Gideon had something bad happen to him as a child and because of it he lost his parents from his life, luckily his brother has forgiven him for what happened. Gideon holds a lot of pain and guilt from the incident and because of it its hard to let people in, but Jada manages to get past his defenses.
They are perfect for each other and complete each other. Not only are they amazing as a couple, there's a lot of drama going on, and you will never guess who the bad guy really is.
Not only does the Omega Sky team work on this, so does many other teams you will have met in Caitlyn's other series. The book is a don't put me down and if you haven't read her other series; it will make you want to.

Oh, what an exciting and suspenseful gem this is!
I love how fierce, tough, warriors turn into gooey marshmallows when they finally admit to themselves they’ve fallen in love, then put the woman who’s in control of their affection into a dangerous scenario and you have an epic story!
I appreciate how brilliant both Gideon and Jada are with technology. Follow that up with Gideon’s group of warrior friends from the different Spec Ops teams, Kane, Dex and Clint and how they all combine their elite strengths to plan their rescue of Jada and their approach to eliminate Gideon’s nemesis, Kendall.
This story has all the good vibrations of the journey to find love combined with all the twists and complicated turns to figure out the dangerous plot of the enemy. Full of suspense and action interlaced with humor and male angst when they act like - men! I loved it!

This story of Gideon and Jada is so special, It's a second chance romance, as well as an enemies to lovers full of suspense, action, tension, drama, lots of humor and banter from the other computer specialists that show up to work their magic, and plenty of chemistry and passion between the protagonists.
In the past, Gideon Smith had a bad whoopsie moment and ruined one of the best things he could have ever had, a relationship with Jada Harlow. He left her with a broken heart. When he gets a call for help from Jada that breaks off, he knows he won't stop until he rescues her. Things are not always as they originally seem and there are plenty of wild cards being played in this story. I am not going to say much as I don't want to ruin this story, it was impossible to put down once started. Great job Caitlyn!! This is 5 stars.

Gideon still bears the emotional scars of the past which had an impact on his relationship with Jada however when she needs help there is no other place he wants to be than by her side. As the danger escalates around them so does the chemistry between them but will this be their second chance or are they destined for heartbreak once again.
The suspense keep you on the edge, the romance between Jada and Gideon has you invested in seeing them fight their way back to each other and there is a great cast of secondary characters that enhance the story.

I loved this book! It was everything I could want in a book. I was hooked from the start. I read the book straight through. I didn't care that I lost sleep over it! It held my attention that good. The chemistry, bantering, danger, loyalty and more kept me turning the pages to see what was going to be revealed next. Jada and Gideon have a past that has lasting effects on who and how they are now in the present. Can they get past that? Is Lucy enough to bring them to a common ground? Will the danger they face make them understand what true strength and love are? No spoilers! Pick up a copy and see what you think. I am loving this series already and we are only on book 2. I can waIt to see whose story we will get next! So excited for this series. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

For him, he’s always regretted pushing away the only love of his life. Jada has been suffering the loss as well since he is the love of her life. But has she put herself in too much danger digging through the digital world? She hopes he can save her. He knows after saving her that he can’t let her go again even though he should. She isn’t sure she can trust him not to hurt her again. But as they try to unravel the mystery of her abduction, they hit more twists and turns and even more danger. This book delves into so much you won’t be able to put it down!

Good book
I enjoyed reading this book. Gideon and Jada are good together. She’s a strong willed computer genius hacker, just like he is. I like that they have this commonality. This book takes place where they already hooked up, he then dumped her and then him realizing he messed up and needs to win her back. I usually prefer going through the process of the couple getting to know each other. But this was well written and the plot was so intricate that I’m ok with how it turned out. The plot was very interesting with many twists and turns. I enjoyed all the sub characters that got involved to help solve the mystery. There were some sweet moments between Gideon and Jada. Enough where I can see how they love each other.

This is a techie story deluxe, with all the tech people from all the teams- and aside from the new story, it’s wonderful to reconnect with the other characters. Gideon blew it with Jada, and she’s not going to open herself up to that kind of hurt again, but it’s he who she turns to when she is in danger. Gideon is a complex character, and the layers of hurt and lack of self-confidence go back to his childhood. It’s great to watch him come to terms with his love for Jada and resolve his past, and the support from his team and friends is heartwarming. As always, there’s sizzling heat, some good fun, a lot of action, and a book that ends before we’re ready for it to.

Yes it’s filled with suspense, danger and boy oh boy the steamy scenes will make you BLUSH! The banter between Gideon and Jada in the midst of danger is so much fun to see.

O'Leary grabs you from page one. What would cause a teenager to leave his loving family? Gideon's story is a page turning mystery with all of the action, suspense, twists, danger and strong team support that we have come to love in a Caitlyn O'Leary book. I could not put this book down. Jada is a strong intelligent woman who turns to Gideon, the man who rejected her, for help. Gideon soon realizes that his past has caught up with him and Jada has somehow been thrown in the mix. Gideon's past kept him closed off, but Jada helps him see that he is worthy of love and the two of them embark on a harrowing journey to find their HEA. I need more than 5 stars to rate this book.

Absolutely loved this latest book from Ms O'Leary, think I would go so far as to say it is favourite so far.
Gideon has previously met Jada at a wedding, never expected to see her again, he receives a call from he which opens a whole can of worm.
A wonderful collaboration between SEAL teams and characters we have met previously from other series all work together to get to the bottom of the problem and solve various issues they come across.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat with unexpected twists and turns in the plot.
A thoroughly enjoyable read, can't wait for the next in the series
