Lilly Wilder has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Lottie, Alex, Sterling, and Morgan. Lottie's father has arranged a marriage to Zayn but when they get together, he claims that she is not pure and tells her father, the marriage is off. Her father kicks her out of the clan and tells her she can never come back. She tries to tell him that it is not true but he doesn't believe her. She leaves with nothing. She runs through the night and when she stops to rest, there is something after her. She is saved by Alex, Sterling, and Morgan. Alex gives her a hide to cover up with and they offer to take her to their shack. She is not too sure about going with them but she does. She is offered something to eat and a place to rest. She tells them she will be gone the next morning. Things don't happen the way she thinks they will and she ends up staying with the guys. She ends up sleeping with Morgan and Alex but Sterling is holding out. The guys are out in the middle of the woods close to the mountain for a reason. Their mother was bitten and now has a type of rabies that turned her into a monster. There is word that with a special type of wolf blood along with the rabies shot mixed with it, the person can be cured. The guys are looking for the person who has this blood type but so far, they have not found this person. Something thing happens and Lottie has some things to sort out. She walks away from the guys and goes off on her own. She ends up in trouble but the guys are behind her but can't help her. She had been hunting in her wolf form and changed back and hunters saw her do this. They hurt her and end up taking her to the clinic and Dr. Evans. When Dr. Evans sees her, she wants to know what happened to her. The hunters tell her that they found her this way. Dr. Evans tells the hunters to leave so that she can do an exam on Lottie. First, Lottie wants a blood test ran and asks "how long before the results come back. Lottie has seen a pack member in town and was told that her father had been bitten by the monster and is now sick. Lottie wants to go and see him but is told she can't. The guys are going to get Lottie out of the clinic and they make plans to do that. Morgan is the one who watches the door and Sterling and Alex go in after Lottie. Sterling tells Dr. Evans that Lottie was beaten by the hunters and that is why she was brought to the clinic. Dr. Evans tells them there is a back door that will take them to an alley so they can get away without being seen. When they are away from the clinic, Lottie asks them where were they going. She is told that they need to show her something and everything would make sense from there. She tells them she doesn't want to go to the cave after everything they have told her about it. They tell her she has nothing to be worried about and that nothing will hurt her. She goes with them and this is when she is told that she is their mate and the monster in the cage in the cave is their mother. She was bitten and what was before her was what she turned into. Sterling tells her that they all hope that they can find a cure before it is too late. Once back at the shack, Lottie decides she wants to be with all three guys and she lets them know. They show her that she is theirs and they are hers. The next morning, Sterling is up before anyone else and he decides to go to the clinic and get the rabies immunoglobulin. When he gets to the clinic, Dr. Evans is coming out the back door and Sterling tells her that he is not there to hurt her. They go inside and talk for a little while and Sterling gets what he needs from her. She shows him something about Lottie's blood test and he seems to be happy about it. Alex hears the car when Sterling comes back home and he goes to see where he is going. When he sees Sterling, he asks "Where are you going?" Sterling said he had gone and came back, he is holding a box. Sterling asked if everyone was up yet? He is told no and Alex went to go and get them. When they get to Sterling he is sitting at the table with a box in front of him. Lottie starts to ask something and Sterling tells her that it is the rabies immunoglobulin. But they still don't have the special blood they need. Sterling tells them that they do. Sterling looks at Lottie and she knows who he is talking about. She wants to know what she has to do. He tells her and they all get ready to go see if they can help their mother. The way their mother has to get the shot is not going to be easy. It will take all three of the guys to give it to her. Alex and Morgan are holding her while Sterling gives her the shot. She fights after she gets the shot but finally she goes down. The guys take her out into the sun for the first time in ages. They take her to the shack and Lottie cleans her up and they wait to see if the shot worked. When she fully wakes up, the guys are all there with her. She is upset at first when she sees Lottie. Lottie tells her that she is no longer welcomed by her father. Lottie is told to call the guy's mother Stella and she tells Lottie some of the things her father has done. Lottie decides to go and see her father knowing that she may not be able to. She tells Leon, the guy running the clan while her father is sick that she has the cure and he asked how she can be sure it works. This is when Stell steps forward and said that she is proof that it works. Lottie wants to know the truth and she is the only one who can go in and talk to him. After she speaks to her father, she realized that he is not who she thought he was and she is not sure she wants to give him the shot to make him better. She goes back outside and tells Stella what happened and they have a long talk. Stella tells her a few things for her to think about.
Will Lottie give her father the cure?
Will she stay with the guys and start a new clan with them and Stella?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend it to anyone.

Lottie is thrown out of her wolf pack and now she has no one. When she is rescued from an attack she meets Alex, Morgan and Sterling and knows that they are her fated mates. Can they keep each other safe from the wolf monster? Fast-paced shifter read with loads of drama, suspense and steam. Great characters with lots of depth and emotion and an entertaining story. I liked it.

Her rescuers know that she is fated for them, but Lottie is still hesitant. Will they embark on their destined journey together or will Lottie’s suspicions of them tear them apart before they even get started?

This book starts out with Lottie, the daughter of Kano, in a room ready to be bonded and mated to Zayn, the son of a rival pack. The hope is, that by them joining together, a war between the two packs could be avoided. Everything seems to be going accordingly, but Lottie isn't really getting into it and feels absolutely no attraction to Zayn. Zayn then notices a patch of darkened skin that usually means a female has been marked and is therefore unpure. The agreement between the two alphas was for a pure female to be bonded. Things blow up and escalates to a point that Lottie is banished from the pack and forced to flee through the woods. She finally stops running to take a breather and rest when she hears a growl behind her and she freezes. The smell that assaults her is awful, it's blood, sweat and rotten meat. She hears twigs snapping and when she turns around she sees a large, rabid bear being wrestled to the ground by two unknown men and one stabbing and killing the bear. Another male appears behind her. She's naked and afraid. They're questioning her to as who she is and where did she come from. One of the males gives her something to cover her nudity with and they ask her to follow them back to their place so they can have a conversation where it's warm and safe. Originally she refuses but when they walk away from her leaving her in the dark unknown she follows behind them. They arrive at their shack which is well hidden and they all enter inside and find out who each other is. The guys are Sterling, Morgan and Axel and she introducing herself as Lottie. They offer her a bed to sleep in because she is exhausted. They all go to sleep and the men can keep from thinking about her, they are inexplicably drawn to her. Sometime in the early morning hours, Lottie awakes to a horrible, gut wrenching howl that sounds unlike an animal she's ever heard. She leaves the shack and comes upon a cave in the mountain side, the entrance seems to be closed with locked bars. Sterling meets her there and wants to know what she's doing there, if she's been into the cave or seen anything. He escorts her back to the shack and the other guys. I'll leave you here and you'll need to get the book to find out the rest of the story. There are family secrets to be told, pasts entwined, hunters capturing a shifter, unknown monsters lurking around and mates finding each other. It's a beautiful, enticing story that is very original in its storyline and strong, lovable characters. I highly recommend this book for people who love reverse harems and shifter romances. It definitely hits all the marks for either of these genres.

Wonderful read, intrigue and action, sacrifice and hope for human and wolves alike

This was a simply wonderful read and this is something very different in the line of wolf shifters books and in this case the book starts with Lottie who is being mated to the son of the adjacent wolf clan. She is not wanting the match but knows that it is needed if her clan who are hunters and gathers will be safe in a binding of the two as they are hunters and more savage.

Just as the mating is about to go through and she is naked beneath the alpha’s son he suddenly notices a mark on her skin, dragging her before her father and clan still naked he rejects her as defiled. What hurt the most was the fact that her father actually turned his back on her without argument or even questioning, then she is exiled from the pack, never to return otherwise she will be killed.

Running through the night she is take in by three brothers, not blood brothers but they are pack after being found as young children when their pack had all been murdered, traumatised and unable to speak, remember their names she had loved each of them and raised them as her own loving the as only a mother can.

Lottie is aware that there is a secret that her men are hiding from her but has no idea what this is and it seems that Lottie has also been told that her father has been injured, he has been bitten by a rabid beast and he is slowly losing his mind and going mad and will eventually die or need to be put to death.

Then Lottie discovers that Kano is not the man that she originally believed and that in fact her life has been inter-laced with the three men that she has fallen in love with, how will she feel if the story she has learned from mother is in fact true.

Will she also be able to use the cure that she has found to also treat her father, will it also heal Kano in the same way that it had healed mother. Together as a group they all head to the pack and she is shocked to learn of the horrors that he has committed and now it seems as though she has been living within a lie.

Read this wonderful story it is wrapped with subterfuge, lies and action and the love of strangers and their acceptance over a pack in which she had been born.

Once you begin reading this book it will be impossible to put it down until you reach the final page.

I assure you that you will love every moment of this book it is simply a fantastic read.

This book wasn’t a great read, but it wasn’t horrible either

The book opens with our heroine, Lottie, in bed with her soon to be mate. Her father arranged the marriage with the son of the alpha of a rival pack. He sees what he believes is a “claiming mark” on her and he rejects her because she isn’t pure. She doesn’t know where the mark came from, it just appeared on day. But no one will listen to her. Not her “mate,” not his father, and not even her own father. He banishes her from the pack there and then and she is devastated. While wandering through the woods, she barely evades a bear attack, as three wolf shifters come to her rescue. But after what she’s been through, she’s not sure if she can trust them. But what other choice does she have? She’s naked, alone and afraid.

I think Lottie is one of the few bright spots in this book. The author did a nice job with this character, as she is strong but vulnerable. Even after everything she’s been through, she never dissolves into self-pity. Her three mates; Sterling, Axel and Morgan, are as well defined as can be given the nature of reverse harem stories. I mean, I feel like I have a pretty good sense of the core of each of these male characters. Of course they’re hot. Not many romance books have an ugly male lead, right? And we’ve come to expect otherworldly hotness from shifters. And I ain’t mad at it either.

I do have some issues with the world building here. There are several subplots that are never really explained; exactly how did Stella get to be in that condition? Exactly why did Kano do some os the things he did? (Sorry, trying to write a decent review without giving too much away) I wanted more than what the author provided about the circumstances that lead to the boys being abandoned.

Sure they all got their HEA, but I like to have a bit more detail. It helps me to feel more emotions when I’m reading. I absolutely love it when an author can suck me in so fully into a story that I never want to leave. I didn’t feel that here. Would I recommend this book? Sure. But if you have a long list of “to read” books, I’d give this a lower priority.

- A big problem for me was the men went from wanting her to leave to “I love her and would die for her” in about 5 minutes. Despite over 400 pages, this book lacked relationship development and chemistry.
- Stella also went from being terrified of Lottie one minute to calling her the daughter she never had and passing down family jewellery to her.

Questions:
- The men mentioned Lottie was their mate but when did they realize this? If they meant fated mate then how did they not immediately sense her as theirs?
- It is briefly mentioned that Lottie’s father was responsible for destroying then mens’ pack, but the details weren’t really explained as to what happened?

Summary:
Lottie is a wolf about to lose her virginity to another Alpha’s son to bring their two packs together. He tells everyone she is not a virgin (which is untrue), causing her to be banished. While running away she finds herself saved from a rabid bear by three shifters who bring her home with them.

Sterling, Axel and Morgan are our men who want to protect Lottie, while keeping her from their truth. There is rumor going around that a monster is killing people. The mmcs hide this monster in a cave and bring it dead animals to eat. We find out that the monster is their mom who was bitten by a rabid bear years ago and they have kept her locked up while they look for a cure. Lottie’s dad happens to be bitten by a rabid animal as well.

Finding out that Lottie’s blood is needed for the cure, they make one cure for the mother and one for her father. The mother claims that Lottie’s father is responsible for the destruction of her and her sons’ pack. Lottie finds this is true, but is convinced by her men and their mother to give the cure to her father anyways. The men and Lottie get their HEA.

I came across this book while I was roaming on pinterest, I looked it up on here and I strangely found it has a lot of 4 and 5 stars although the number of ratings isn't high, regardless decided to read it and it did disappoint.

Tropes: wolf shifter, rejected mate, reverse harem, enemies to lovers, protective heroes, a sprinkle of slow burn ( somehow all these combined in one well written book would be so gooood) but

Dnf at 56% because this wasn't enticing or interesting enough to keep going, also it gave me early wolf shifter wattpad romance yet somehow it was even worse because for lack of better description:

the plot was hella inconsistent and confusing, they were all wolf shifters belonging to packs so I didn't understand what all the drama was about, second of all, " my pack has always prided itself on having never tasted human blood or flesh, we solely feed off of animals in the woods" what are you the Cullens?

Then when the FC finds the three MCs feeding off the deer in a cave there is a whole ass drama about them keeping secrets from her? it was ridiculous.

The writing is very mediocre to ridiculous at times " my feet start running" and so on.

We are given a background of the characters and some idea of a past but I couldn't care, because there was 0000 chemistry, lot of flirting, a nice guy, a flirty guy, a grumpy guy and an poorly written annoying female character.

Oh wait and the smut, I forgot, nonexistent. Or we could say, quasi-existent. it's shadow is there, but it is not completely there.

Will this stop me from reading other books by this author? no, because she has a lot of reverse harem shifter romance and I want to know if she has a better one. so yeah.

Are you debating whether or not to read (Rescued By The Wolves) Did you see the title and alternate between a hum-drum "not another (shifter romance) book" and an excited "ooohh, another (shifter romance) book!" ... Let me set your mind at ease. Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! Lottie is broken, hurt because she was rejected by her mate of convenience to bring two rival packs together, bringing shame to her, and her father exiling her from everything she has known and loved based on a lie. While on the run she runs into some trouble and needs a little help. Axel, Sterling, and Morgan sexy as all get out small pack of three shifters, each different in looks, personality, and rescuing a young woman from a rabid bear. They become her protectors, giving her everything but don’t be fooled she gives as good as she gets. Each have secrets that must be told in order to stop whatever it is that is causing rabid animals attacking their forest as well as the humans. They are an unstoppable force as they overcome challenges within their small pack, working together and learning each other’s secrets, trusting one another, creating a wonderful bond and paving the way because they are fated mates but will the lie ever be revealed to her father, will her mate of convenience come back, what is making them go rabid, and can they find happiness together?

'Rescued By The Wolves: Rejected Mate Reverse Harem Romance' by Lilly Wilder is a well written, well developed story with interesting characters and an intriguing plot line. The story centers around Lottie, who gets rejected by her mate and then kicked out of her clan due to a lie, and Sterling, Morgan, and Alex, who are brothers of the heart and also separated from their clan. Lottie is resting after running for hours when she hears a menacing growl, it's a rabid bear getting ready to attack her. Morgan and Sterling jump out from behind a tree and kill the bear saving Lottie's life. Then Axel invites her back to their cabin in order to rest, eat, and get some clothes. Although Lottie doesn't trust the three brothers she really doesn't have any other choice but to go with them. Will Lottie ever learn to trust her three saviors? Will the secrets they are all hiding tear them apart or will it help them solve the mystery of what's happening to the wildlife in the woods?

This story contains mystery, missing people, danger, action, deceit, and plenty of passion. I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it to anyone who likes a bit of mystery with their HEA.

Lottie finds herself rejected by the mate her father arranged to unite their packs in peace. She’s banished from the pack and loses everything.

Axel, Morgan and Sterling rescue her in so many ways. They protect her from being attacked by a rabid bear and take her in, recognizing her for a fellow lost soul. The chemistry and tension between them is high but they are protecting a dark secret of their own.

Story 3/5, Heat 2/5, Angst 3/5

Medium burn (44%), no condoms, virgin h, reverse harem with group action, push away from h, some push away from one of the harem, no OW/OM drama - never see the “rejecting” mate after initial scene. No cheating, no cliffhanger and HEA.

I’d consider this a safe read. The beginning starts with an intimate scene between the h and mate that rejects her accusing her of being “impure”, it’s brief and doesn’t go far. Never see him again beyond that.

Lottie is banished from her pack . She runs into the forest with no supplies or even clothing. She is rescued by three shifters that offer her food and shelter. She accepts, planning to leave the next day. She ends up staying longer and has started to get closer with the guys. She’s figured out that they have a secret they are keeping from her. Lots of action and danger in that forest. Lottie gets kidnapped and gets injured. They have to take her to a local doctor who questioned her on how she got her injuries. Something wasn’t right. She helps her escape her captives and return to her three shifters. Lottie and the guys admit that they’ve fallen in love and want to be together. They must solve some mysteries before they can be a family. There’s lots of HEAT between them. I’d definitely read more from this author.

Lottie was willing todo as her father asked and mate with someone from a rival pack. However when the man that was supposed to be her mate rejects her everything changes. Her father disowns her and she is banished from her pack as everyone believes she has done wrong. Sterling, Axle and Morgan save her from a rabid bear and take her home with them. Its not long before Lottie starts to trust them and ends up staying longer than she planned. One night thing heat up between the four of them and once again Lottie's world changes. Has Lottie found her place finally? Will the secret the guys have cause her to leave?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

I like this new book from Lilly Wilder because it left me with a feeling of hope. We need this right now. It features a young woman, Lottie, who gets shunned and ostracized by her father and their clan because of a lie. Then she is rescued from a rabid bear by three shifters Sterling, Morgan and Axel. They all have different looks but they are brothers at heart. Lottie and the boys are each guarding a secret. Will it tear them apart or bring them together. Each plays an important rule to solve the mystery of this new strain of rabies that is plaguing their forest. This book is action packed and steamy. Lilly Wilder’s books get better and better. They have well developed characters and beautiful insight to humanity. I did receive an advance copy for my honest review.

Lottie is rejected by her proposed mate renounced by her pack then save by three males.
Wolf shifter Lottie had agreed to mate with Zayn the son of a rival pack but just as they prepare to mate he notices a dark mark she has had since she was a small child and claims it is a sign she is tainted. He drags her out in front of her father and repudiates her as being tainted then her father banished her from the pack. She runs into the night and into the forest no thought to where she was going then she finds herself confronting a bear. She is saved by three wolves who drive the bear off then turn back into their human form. Axel, Sterling and Morgan take this lost looking female back to the home.

Lottie was supposed to be mated to her clans rival, but he rejected her because of a discolouration on her thigh, so she is banished from her pack. She finds herself caught up with three guys, Axel, Morgan and Sterling, who have rescued her from a feral bear. But things are not what they seem. They are hiding something and Lottie is sick of it and leaves the safety of the shelter but soon finds herself in trouble. Her men save her but she realises that they need her as much as she needs them, but not only that, but she is the key that they have been searching for. They have trials that they have to go through but eventually they have their happily ever after.

Lottie, Alex, Sterling, and Morgan come across each other when she is outcast from her pack and in trouble. They are fated mates but also there is a hidden story that keeps things on edge. When situations happen, a result comes about that can save many that are sick, including her father and their mother. The characters have great backstories, strength and determination. The storylines of romance as well as the mystery of what happened and what can be done to correct it, come through nicely. Loved the interactions of the four and they come to terms with their future together. Intense emotions and feelings are mixed with relief and angst. Great ending.

When Lottie was rejected and banished from her pack, she wasn’t aware that it was the beginning of her destined journey for the greater good of the Shifters. Sterling, Morgan and Axel were happy to live a quiet life in the mountains, that it until they came across Lottie and soon realised she was meant to be theirs. The four of them embark on a heartfelt and drama filled adventure, which will grab your attention and no let go until you finish reading the book. I definitely happy to recommend this book, if you love reading interesting and exciting stories.

Frightened and alone when 3 men come upon her and save her in the woods, Lottie is mistrustful. Axel, Sterling and Morgan have a secret they are hiding, and when she is drawn to the cave where the secret lies, they are torn between protecting that secret and protecting Lottie.
Another of Lilly Wilder's menage romances, the chemistry between the MC's is hot. They are drawn together even as Lottie's instinct is to run away. Their HEA is lovely, and the story is well crafted. It's a good read, worth the one-click.

I enjoyed the story. Lottie is rejected by her mate because he believes that she is tainted due to a dark patch on her thigh. She is banished and leaves. She is found and rescued by Sterling, Morgan and Axel. She ashamed to tell them that she was rejected and doesn't plan on staying with the men. Sterling, Morgan, and Axel have a secret that they are trying to keep. The more the guys get to know Lottie the more they are attracted to and her to them. She discovers the lies they have been telling her and she runs away, right in to the human hunters that are looking for a monster. What will happen now?

Lottie was rejected by her soon to be mate. Then banished by her father all for a marking that they thought was a mating mark. Sterling, Morgan and Axel saved Lottie from a bear that had rabies. Lottie didn't trust the guys but they offered for her to some back to stay at the shack with them. The guys were willing to wait until Lottie felt comfortable with them to tell them on how she ended up in the woods on her own. Lottie new that they weren't telling her the whole truth on the cave and the noises that where coming out of it. I enjoyed reading this book. I loved the storyline and plot. DNF at 35%. Sooooooo slow. Lottie is rejected by her mate. Relatively low angst from that POV since it was an arranged mating for political/pack unity. Post rejection, Lottie is banished from the pack and runs into the woods where the guys save her from a rabid bear... ok, not a bad start... but that's the end of the action - in the first chapter.... then a whole lot of blah, blah, blah... there's some build up to the mystery of what's in the cave... the 'getting to know you' part of Lottie and the guys is rather mundane. I didn't enjoy the slow moving plot and not a big fan of the writing style.

This book is a lot different than most of the shifter reads out there. Not quite the fated mates you are used to and not the pretty picture of shifting into an animal. I did enjoy this read and it held my attention to the end. The mystery in the book was well done in my opinion as I didn't catch on right away to what was happening. I do wish there was a little more romantic interaction, flirting, intense moments, etc. However I can see myself reading this story again, the writing was good, the storyline was good, and I liked the characters!

The emotional resonance and philosophical dimension add real depth to the story.
Banished and alone is one thing, but the emotional pain of being deemed impure and rejected by an up-to-now loving father is far worse. How can she ever trust a man again… or three, who clearly have loads of secrets and keep spouting lies to her? Not a chance, until they keep rescuing her and loving her.
Aren’t we all craving acceptance, forgiveness, love? Quite often the secrets of the past destroy all chances for a happy future.

Lottie (FMC) doesnt have a lot of luck in this book. Rejected by her mate, then banished by her father and her pack and on the run. That is until her path collides with Axel, Sterling and Morgan. 3 interesting but very secretive men. Lottie soon finds out that shes caught up in the middle of something much more dangerous. Rescued by the wolves is a pretty good read with characters i really liked. I seriously wanted to hurt Lotties so called mate and her father for what they put her though at the beginning of this book but i cant say that i didnt like the way the book concluded. I did

It turns out that she is tied to them as their mate but they have a lot of obstacles to get past for even a chance at a future together. Plenty of drama, family, danger, secrets, mistrust, attraction and finally love. It was well written with good characters

Rejected but still loved

This was done in the typical writing style of the author. I like her writing style and her books are short enough to be read in a day. The 4 star rating comes because the description of the characters kept changing especially the FMC, normally I would over look this but each guy described her differently from her hair color to her eye color. Three guys and every one of them has a different description, I was frustrated by this. If you can get past that then it’s a quick read.

Lottie is banished from her wolf pack after being accused of something she didn't do.
She is rescued from a bear attack by 3 other wolf shifters. They allow her to stay with them but Lottie is suspicious of their actions in the woods. They are hiding something and she is determined to find out what it is.

This was an enjoyable book but went on a bit too much for me.

Lottie is rejected by an arranged mate which brings shame to the family and the pact. She is thrown out by her father who is the leader and rescued by 3 men. Those three men are guarding a secret and even though they are willing to take in and protect Lottie, their secret needs protecting more. This story is well written and the character development is on point. It will hold you until the end with its intensity.
