Rate this book
She is an ancient profound iron ladle from the cultivation realm. Since she has become a spirit, her only obsession is cultivating a fragrant and soft female body.

A sky thunder smashed her into a wealthy family novel, and she became a true missy who had been wronged in life.

The real missy is the opposite of the fake. She loves vanity and lacks IQ. She is married to the half-paralyzed young uncle of the hero. She focuses on destroying the relationship between the heroine and the hero and ends up miserably.

Faced with the plot of a dog’s blood novel, she has only one thought: Great. She can finally be a cute and charming girl.

Later, she shook ten pounds of iron wok in one hand and kicked a big pervert to cry and whimpers.

Everyone: Do you have any misunderstandings about the words “cute and charming”?

Tang Qiaoqiao has good cooking skills. She cooks on one show and also on the next show. While filming, she also works part-time as a chef in the crew. She has become popular.

Her black fans turned to love her and only wished to eat her food. Her co-actor would rather freeload her meal. A director strongly invited her to act because she cured his stomach disease…

This was just lovely. The initial conflict doesn't drag on forever--the FMC cuts everything off before it can cause any trouble and it stays cut off (which was so refreshing, I'm so used to the annoying antagonists popping up all the time but that didn't happen here thank goddd) She doesn't take any bullshit from anyone and it was pretty nice to see how some people who initially didn't care for her ended up falling for her. The romance was pretty cute too, hardly any misunderstandings or drawn out angst and the ML was a giant tsundere at first but not in a horrible way.

My only complaint is that it was pretty short T__T I was expecting it to go on for a little longer and then BAM I reached the extras. Everything was wrapped up pretty nicely, yeah but I liked the characters a lot and would've loved to read more about them. Also Toffee is an ANGEL. Absolute darling princess she only deserves happy, wonderful things.

Fair warning though: do NOT read this if you haven't eaten in a while and/or have to wait a while before you can get any food. I ended up ordering a whole bunch of Chinese food for lunch yesterday because the descriptions were so droolworthy that I couldn't stand the thought of eating anything else :<

Actual rating: 4.5🌟

This is the story of Tang Qiaoqiao, an ancient profound iron ladle who became sentient but was strucked by a sky thunder into a wealthy family novel and became the true missy of the Tang family who was wronged in life. It was quite an absurd premise but I did not mind that much. Lol.😅

The book is about our MC's life in the entertainment industry. From the title, I knew going in that it will center on food. Our MC was an iron ladle before. This gave her a lot of background, skills and expertise on cooking.

I love the plot of the story. Not that much drama and things are solved quickly for our MC. The romance is also good and cute. I love the comments of fans. This was a very funny novel for me. I enjoyed reading this one and laughed a lot of times on our MC's misfortunes.😆

I did not give it a 5 star rating because of a few loopholes on the book. Also there are so many details on the ingredients, preparation of the food, process of cooking and description of foods. Those felt like filler chapters for me. I kinda skimmed some of those as I'm not that interested on how fresh the ingredients are or the history of a dish. But that's just me.😌

Overall a great read. Recommended.❤

PS: Toffee is cute.😍

3.5 rounded up ~

This is a story of an iron ladle (literally) who has reached the state of being a sentient spirit. Her goal is to cultivate enough to acquire a human body but before she reaches that goal she is struck by lightning and is plunged into the body of Tang Qiaoqiao, a villain in a novel. Tang Qiaoqiao, originally the daughter of a wealthy family, was accidentally exchanged at birth with another baby. Her biological parents eventually discover her but still love the daughter they raised for 20 years more. In the novel, through the scheming of the fake daughter, she ends up becoming the wife of the half-paralyzed uncle of the hero. Her hate for the fake sister and love for the hero cause her to have a miserable end. When the iron ladle wakes up in her new body, she decides that ending is definitely not for her. The first order of business is to help her paralyzed husband regain his health. What can she do? Of course, cook for him!

The premise seemed a little silly but it actually played out pretty well in the story. She pretty much skips through all her trials with food. There are very long and detailed descriptions of her food which always makes me hungry after reading.

The plot is above average. It had some extremely funny moments and many sweet ones as well but I feel like the story didn't quite reach its full potential. Although I enjoyed the cooking and acting scenes, I would have also liked to read more about the Tang and Shen families. I feel like they were sort of forgotten till the end. Other that, I really enjoyed this novel and would definitely recommend this for anyone that wants a funny and lighthearted read.

It was a 3.8 because of the MC, the former sentient cooking ladle, whose spirit transmigrated into the body of an ill fated second generation. The ladle has cultivation and cooking techniques for moving Qi to help begin healing her domineering CEO husband.

I both liked and disliked parts of the plot which was to take over the role of the swapped at birth original daughter and work cooking foods into every scenario, plus to help heal her husband with her abilities. The simple plot line became monotonous. The dishes she cooked really sounded delicious because they were described in detail and the healing took all of the novel. This is probably fitting because the mild romance took almost all of the novel to finally bloom.

Most of the 102 chapters were short. Reading it only once for the food and cute couple moments may be worth it.

I absolutely adored this novel!
Reading this is like getting a jolt of endorphins; the laughter and the feel good romance was wonderful.

The FL was strong, creative and stood up for what she believed in.

The ML was by far the best one I have read in a long time, possibly ever. Despite being a tsundere once he fell for the FL he was supportive, loyal and showed such unconditional love it was heartwarming.

I’d love to have a physical copy of this someday (in English) so that it can have a place of honor in my library.

(not one of my braincells were hurt in reading this novel) plotwise it's not the best, but it's relaxing and hilarious in a way that isn't forced which is automatically a 5/5 for me.

Really heart-warming. Would love to be friends with a Tang QiaoQiao in real life. The minus stars are for extremely long cooking instructions and a slightly draggy plot. But definitely worth a read!

Easy 4.5 stars if you skip the cooking instructions...
