I love reading about serial killers. I'm a horror writer, in fact... but every book, TV show and movie seems to be about the same ones like Bundy, Dahmer, etc. The unsolved serial killers in this and other books is what needs to be shown, so maybe some of these cold cases can be solved. Really horrific acts, awful people and the thought they might never be caught all rolled into a volume of stories mostly about the victims, which is also great about this book.
So grateful I got my hands on the second volume of this true crime series! The only one that I recognise the name of is The Freeway Phantom but I didn't know the actual story until I read this fabulous book!
In this book it contains the cases of:
💀 Dr No 💀 The Lewis Clark Valley Murders 💀 Pittsburg Serial Murders 💀 The A6 Disappearances 💀 The Denver Prostitute Killer 💀 The Freeway Phantom 💀 The Barnaul Maniac 💀 The Frankford Slasher 💀 Tuning North and Frankston Murders 💀 El Psicópata
The book is well written, I like the layout, the writing style and the way he words and explains things is really nice.
I can't wait to read the third volume as I am really enjoying this series.
Not all from the United States, but most are. An interesting look at several serial killers. It raises the question if these killers are actually active or captured elsewhere and just changed how they kill people.
A really good read on serial killers that not many people.know about apart from those they have affected. This is the second book I've read and it doesn't disappoint. I'll definitely be reading the next book too very soon.
I read and enjoyed volume one and felt like this one was very consistent with it. It continued the focus on the victims as opposed to the killer and I also really appreciated that.
