In Sin City, the stakes are high. Bet big and you may win it all—but you could also lose far more than you bargained for.

Indie Garrison is in over her head. Ditched by her husband in the dead of the night, she’s suddenly a broke single mom living with her sister. Sure, she and pro hockey player Pike Morgan got off on the wrong foot in a big way, and admittedly, it was entirely her fault. But Indie’s been fooled by a man for the last time, and no matter how hard Pike tries to break down her walls, she’s not falling for him. At least, that’s what she keeps telling herself.

Pike Morgan is at the top of his game. Being drafted by the new Las Vegas expansion team was ideal for the bearded, blue-eyed NHL goalie who’s only serious about two things: hockey and partying. When he accepts a bet from a teammate, he finds himself wooing a spirited woman who wants nothing to do with him. Once he gets to know her and her young son, though, he regrets his wager. If Indie finds out the truth, she’s going to hate the player and the game.

Cute story. A little on the short side (there were some things I would've liked to have seen--- like Pike's first meeting with Indie's son) but still a solid read.

A Sin City Saints Hockey Romance

Indira Garrison's (Indie) husband left her and their 3 yr old son 3 weeks prior cleaning out their accounts, quitting his job, leaving town and leaving Indie with no clue why. So with no money she moves in with her sister Rue and gets a job at a coffee shop which she hates. She has decided to sell off her husband's signed baseball. She needs the money to survive and is happy when it sells but she can't find her grandmother's ring that was in the case with it so calls the auction house to find out who bought it.
Pike Morgan has been a goalie for the past 16 yrs, and now plays for the Las Vegas Saints. After a wild night of partying he finds out he won the bid on a signed baseball he wanted and is thrilled. Well that is until a woman comes to his practice and asks him for her grandmother's ring that was in the case. He tells her it wasn't there and she called him so not nice names in front of his team. Of course that means his teammate Kingston and he make a bet about Indie which is nothing new since they bet on things all the time. Learning where she worked he goes to the coffee shop to talk and eventually she gives him her phone number. But this was after she finds out that her sister had the ring, and now she feels terrible about what she did.
What follows is learning to trust again, they develop a friendship and even though he wants more he's willing to wait.
Indie gets some great news for a change and is trusting Pike more and more. Is it too good to be true?

Loved the story and the side characters as well and hope to see more of them.

Player in the Friendzone

I love an excellent Hockey book, and this is one of my goto authors when I am looking for an escape to the rink.

Pike is living his dream, playing Hockey, shenanigans with teammates, and the perks of being a star of the team.

Indie is a newly single mom whose lousy soon-to-be-ex has left her in a spot. She discovers his forgotten sports memorabilia and sells it to get some money in the bank. One misunderstanding, great shouting match, apology, and a cup of coffee later, a friendship is formed between Pike and Indie. From here, the storyline is not what you would expect, and you need to read it for yourself.

I love Pike and Indie’s story; I can not wait for the next book in this series.

Thank you to the author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.

I had a hard time with this one. Didn't really care for Pike at the start, his womanizing ways turned my stomach. His betting on bedding women didn't help. I really loved Indie, didn't think she needed anything that Pike was going to send her way. I was so glad that he wasn't sleezy about going after Indie, it helped that with her schedule and her son that she didn't have much free time and Pike had to work around all of that. It also helped that once the bet was made and Pike met Indie he didn't look or go near another woman.

Now with all that said, I'm glad with how this one ended. Pike and his family, along with Indie and hers, all enjoying a nice day by the pool. No marriage, just fun family time that you know will grow into more.

I love Brenda Rothert’s books. I thought the other day I had her entire backlist but I was missing about 3. Note that sentence was in the past tense. I can now say I own her entire backlist. The majority are either 4 or 5 stars with a couple of lower grades and one 1 star book which still annoys me as it had the potential for 5 stars. But sadly, this is another lower star.

The hero, Pike Morgan is living the good life. He’s the number 1 goalie, good at his position, in an expansion team in Vegas. He’s footloose, free, rich, good looking and can get any woman he wants.

Indie Garrison, on the other hand, is living the opposite kind of life. Her husband skipped out on her and her young son in the middle of the night, taking all the money and leaving her with nothing, not even a roof. She’s had to move in with her sister and has a crappy job in a coffee shop with a monster of a boss. In order to get some much needed money, she sells a collectible baseball card her husband must have forgot. Pike turns out to be the purchaser. It’s not until later she remembers she had left a sentimental ring in the same box and tracks Pike down during a practice and demands the ring back. Pike denies having it and that’s the straw that breaks her and she goes all in on lighting into him as to what a horrible person he is and storms out. Pike isn’t insulted as much as rather taken aback. Women LOVE him. Because he and some of his teammates are still more boy’s than grown men and he’s always bragged he can get any woman, a teammate bets him that he can’t get this particular woman in his bed within six months. Pike takes that bet. He really gets a leg up when Indie discovers much to her horror that her sister had removed the ring and it was safe and sound.

Indie knows she owes this guy an apology and gets a business card to him with the name of the coffee shop. He goes to see her, flirts up a storm, though she insists she doesn’t want anything more than friendship and he agrees. But he might as well have his fingers crossed behind his back and there’s this bet…

Of course he really does start to fall for her and the reader is anticipating a great grovel scene when she finds out about. And…….crickets. Of course she finds about it and he apologizes and all is forgiven. Nope, no real grovel.

WTF??? He makes a bet he can get her into bed and no grovel??? That is SO wrong and SO disappointing. Major point deduction.

Another plot point that really got the steam coming out of my ears was the ink wasn’t even dry on the divorce papers and she’s all in with Pike. No woman. You don’t do that. You need time for self reflection on how you could have fallen for the dead beat. You don’t go jumping into bed with the guy who used you for a bet!!! No! Have some pride. Make him EARN you. Make this boy grow into a man first. With proof.

Another issue I had was the sister does a complete 180. First she wants Indie to wait a year before dating again. Then next minute she’s just with the idea of “Pindie”. Very inconsistent. While I felt a year was a it of overkill, I could see six months. She needed to really focus on her son methinks.

And yet another issue is the book ends too abruptly. It’s almost like a certain page count was reached and that’s it, wrap it up.

I still plan on reading and loving her books. She’s still got a great track record for me.

5 star Review Pike (Sin City Saints Hockey #2) by Brenda Rothert

Book two in the latest series from Brenda Rothert and what a fabulous read Pike was. From the first chapter I was riveted to single mum Indira (Indie) Garrison and Pike Morgan’s story. Ms. Rothert’s characters are always engaging, sometimes flawed and always easy to relate too.

The baggage Indie carries after being left by her jerk of an ex weighs her down and she no longer trusts easily. Her initial meeting with Pike was not smooth when she accuses him of something he did not do.

When one of his teammates bet’s him he can’t get Indie to fall into bed with him, Pike accept; after all the team are always betting on something. However Pike is also attracted to Indie and even though she doesn't want to become involved, it doesn’t stop him from being determined to knock down the walls she has surrounded herself with.

As Pike gets to know Indie and her son Nolan, he falls for them and the bet is quickly forgotten. I loved the journey these two embarked on as their friendship morphs into love. Pike is a bad boy who with the love of a good woman turns his life around;I loved the development of his character in particular throughout the story.

This is a sweet, romantic story of learning to trust again, of taking a chance and knowing that the person that you give your heart to will keep it safe. Or will they? What happens when the truth comes out? Will it destroy the very real relationship they have built?

Brenda Rothert has provided us with a slow burn sweet romance that will warm your heart and keep you chasing for more. I look forward to hearing more about these characters and their family, teammates and friends.
Pike is a WOMANIZER, through and through. He and his team mates love to party and play both on and off the ice. One woman, a family, sure some day but for now, it's time to live free and party hard.
Indie is starting over, living with her sister in Vegas, raising her son on her own, holding down a dead end job with a boss that lives to make her life miserable. Her husband took off and left her in the middle of the night, clearing out their bank account.
With barely $10 to her name, she pledges to care for her son and remove all traces of her ex.
The one thing she still had of her ex is his sports memorabilia and she plans to use the sale of these to begin again. An error is made in the sale of a baseball and Indie must find it. Her search leads her to Pike and also one of her dearest friendships. The friendship they form will change both their life paths and definition of love and family.

If you are looking for a book that will have you smiling and swooning look no further than Pike (Sin City Saints Hockey #2). This is Pike and single mum Indie’s story and boy do they have an entertaining tale to tell.
Pike is used to women falling at his feet, he plays hockey for a living and he lives the life of a playboy including making ridiculous bets with his best friend and teammate about the women they are trying to get into bed but one meeting with Indie has this bad boy changing his ways.
Indie is trying to do the best she can to make ends meet after her ex husband disappeared with all the money in their joint bank account, her son is her most important priory. When she sells a signed baseball to Pike she ends up calling him out in front of the whole team when she believes a ring was in the box the baseball was in.
Let the bets begin and Pike quickly accepts the bet to get Indie into bed. What follows is a man realising he has feelings he has never felt before as he try’s to convince Indie to go out on a date with him. But what happens when the truth comes out……
I loved this book, I was captivated from the first few pages to the final word, I adored Pike and Indie and watching this couple build a friendship that eventually turned into so much more was a breath of fresh air. A sweet yet steamy romance that I highly recommend.

Not only has Indie’s ex abandoned her and their son Nolan but he has taken all their savings as well. She is now living with her sister in Vegas and working at a job she doesn’t like. She is desperate yet determined when she approaches Pike so although their meeting didn’t go well it was certainly memorable.

Pike is a successful hockey player who enjoys all the fringe benefits that go along with it. He is intrigued by the fiery personality of Indie so he agrees to a bet with his teammates thinking she would be no different then the woman he has known in the past. He certainly never expected to develop feelings for her especially since it is a heartbreak in the making if she finds out the truth.

Indie is stronger and more resilient than ever she knows and Pike proves that with the right woman he can be the man that Indie and Nolan need him to be.

Pike is a hard partying, bad boy who’s a professional hockey player. He’s happy living the single, care free life.
He and his teammate make bets on everything. They do live in Las Vegas after all.
Enter Indie, she’s a newly single mom with a 3 year old. She thinks Pike has something of her’s and she yells and rages at him very publicly in front of his teammates.
Enter the bet- his teammate bets him he can’t get Indie to sleep with him. The bet is on.
Indie apologizes to Pike when she finds out she was mistaken, it opens the door for him to drop by her work and chat her up.
The two begin a friendship, at some point it becomes real.
She lets him know she’s not ready to date, he accepts but keeps hoping.
Both of them are attracted to each other.
I like the straightforward way this author writes. The books are usually short, there’s enough character development to please me. The romance is refreshing, sweet and has a bit of emotion.
There’s a few interesting plot developments along the way.
Family is central to both characters lives and backstories.
It’s kind of predictable and it’s a fairly basic premise and romance. I don’t mean that in a negative way at all. I can count on this author’s books to give me a sexy hockey player and an interesting woman who wins his heart. It’s a basic formula that I enjoy and I think the author does it very well.
It’s a quick and cute read. I liked the characters and their story.
It’s slow burn and minimal sex, just wanted to mention that the steam level is on the lower side. I know some like that and some don’t.
I like hot and sexy, I still enjoyed this. It was a nice and refreshing.

Slow burn…

Oh Pike. Bad boy for sure and with a reputation to live down, he was not making headway with Indie at all. She was trying to get back on her feet and that wasn’t easy with a delightful little boy to raise and a whole new life to build. What she didn’t need was another player. Even if he did play hockey…

After that epic first meet, as the stage was set, I knew there was going to be one epic shoe drop at some point. I knew. You’ll know. And the anticipation waiting for it, as Pike and Indie worked through their attraction and the mistrust, was epic. I wanted to shake Pike and wished for a do over but it wasn’t going to happen. He had to face up, man up, and hope that Indie was as forgiving as she was beautiful and completely irresistible…

The steam was low and I didn’t miss it as I got wrapped up in the drama that was their courtship. I liked these characters and the slow burn that was their courtship. I wanted so badly for things to go right. For it to be good.

How they worked it all out was a short-ish read that packed in all the drama and love I hoped for. And hockey of course! ~Diane, 4 stars

Pike is happy living his playboy single life, living his best life with his hockey playing team mates😊 After a night of partying he finds out he won a bid on a signed baseball that he was interested in. So when a women starts screaming and shouting at him about a ring he has no clue what she is on about.
So when his team mates bet him he can't get her into bed... Well who is he to say No to that bet... Right😂

Indie's husband left her with nothing. Now she and her son has to move in with her sister and she gets a job at a coffee shop
She definitely has no time for a playboy hockey player... Even if she accused him if something he didn't do😏

I fell in love with this story from the start. I loved Pike even though he comes across as a bad boy🤭 The more time he spent with Indie and her son the more in love he was with both if them. Indie was an awesome and strong mother. Even though she was left with nothing she picked herself up and tried to get back on her feet. The chemistry between these two was just as amazing. Definitely sweet, funny, a bit emotional drama filled romance🥰

If you are a lover not hockey romances look no further you have found the perfect balance book . Brenda Rothert once again delivered another fantastic addition to to her Sin City series . This is the story of pike - a bad boy who loves to party and lives the typical life of a bachelor . Indie is a single mom of a beautiful three year old little boy who’s ex just literally got up and left them both . Certain events bring these two together and from that moment on nether of there lives will be the same . I cannot even express how much I truly adored every single moment of this wonderful story . It’s full of angsty moments , and emotional ones as well , off the charts chemistry, love , second chances , it’s a story about hope and redemption and finding love . If you are looking for a story that will put a smile on your face throughout the entire book , this is the one to read .

How often is the hot, tatted star goalie of an NHL team friendzoned? Almost never until Pike meets Indie. This was such a different storyline than I’m used to reading and I loved it.

Pike is a goalie for the Saints and is living the single life. But when a fiery woman comes to practice one day and puts him in his place. Indie has had a rough couple of months when her husband drains their bank accounts and leaves her and her 3 year old son, Nolan, with nothing. After a misunderstanding, Indie apologizes to Pike and Pike is instantly intrigued with her. But she instantly puts him in the friendzone.

“Pike” was such a sweet friends to lovers story. They started out as strangers and built an amazing friendship. It didn’t start out on honest intentions with Pike but he turned that around and was the friend Indie needed until she was ready. He is super close with his mom, sister and niece which made my heart so happy. I love those tough guys on the outside but are total softies in the middle. Indie was amazing at how she was able to pick herself up and do what she needed to do. And the moment when she put Pike in his place? Had me cracking up and cheering for her. We get some teasers on possible upcoming stories for the other Saints and I can’t wait.

Indie and her Finding Nemo fan Nolan 🐠 I love her sister Rue because she us quick witted and she loves her sister & nephew will all her heart 😂

Pike well...let just say we meet him in a situation of a hangover & a very questionable bride to be which he does feel a bad about. In his defence very drunk and he kicked himself afterwards.

Indie & Pike is a slow hockey and single parent romance and I love that she took her time to introduce Nolan to Pike. He does love her and he fights for her and Nolan even thou he hasn't met him yet. I felt her fear of accepting Pike apology because she doesn't want another Dean relationship...
Pike showed with action and words but mostly action 🥰

Pike is enjoying his time with the hockey team, partying and all that comes with being a famous player. Indie is a single mom with a dead beat ex-husband that left her and her son without any help. She finds some of his old gear and sells it for money. She meets Pike and they get off on the wrong start until he realizes it is all a misunderstanding. Pike accepts a bet to take Indie out on a date but comes to regret it as he gets to know her and truly wants to be with her and her son. A truly tangled web to put right.

This book will have you smiling so much your cheeks will hurt!
Pike, who can get any chick at any time, has never been 'friend zoned' before. Indie, in the middle of a divorce, is not putting herself or her son out there any time soon.
After witnessing Indie scream and yell at Pike in front of the whole team, his douche bro teammate bets that Pike couldn't get her into bed. Challenge accepted. Except Pike realizes that Indie is really worth getting to know and the more he knows, the more he likes.
They develop the sweetest friendship and bond. Even tho he'd like it to be more, he'll accept it for now. Maybe he'll be let out of the friend zone. He's working hard to make sure he won't be there forever.
Pike had the biggest softest heart hidden under a tattooed smarmy manwhore exterior. Indie is just a sweetheart from the beginning (with the most adorable son!) trying to squeak by in her new found divorced situation.
I just want to run around the room squealing over how cute these two are! The foundation they build with their friendship is so sweet. I love love love it!

Pike and Indie's story was one that I enjoyed. Though I didn't like Pike at first because of his motives of getting close to Indie. Their story is pretty fast-paced so their relationship developed quite fast and also Indie's life took a better turn pretty fast too. They do have chemistry despite the bet and they did develop a friendship and slowly Pike catch real feelings for her anyway. So he's met his match.

Sometimes a playboy is just a playboy and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of hope for a successful relationship in their future. I truly thought that this would be the case with Pike Morgan. He seemed like the epitome of a playboy athlete! But the more the readers get to know him, the more you could see that he is really a nice guy. He surprised me in the best way possible. I thoroughly enjoyed how Brenda pulled in her Chicago series and we got a little peek into what those players are up to! There was a particular scene where relationships were compared to Blizzards and I was laughing so hard I was crying! One thing that was woven throughout the entire book is the love Pike has for his family. There were some very deep topics that made my heart ache, but they were handled beautifully. And I hope that this is not the last we see of Kylie and Jasmin!
Indie recently found herself single with a toddler and no money or job. This woman is persistent and keeps her focus on her son throughout the book. Indie doesn’t have a lot of support and when Pike steps in to provide her friendship and emotional support he does it so well. You will immediately be in Indie’s corner cheering for her. Pike really wanted to be the man that loves her, and made the effort. Much to my surprise he was super patient with her.

Friends, this is a SLOW burn, but it really needed to be. With their pasts they really needed to build a relationship. But friends, when they finally got together it was kindle melting. You will laugh, you will cry, and you will want to throw your kindle all in one book but I don’t think you should miss the opportunity to read Pike and Indie’s story. This pair never gave up when life was hard and through open lines of communication made it work. If you are a sports romance fan and love a solid series with great characters, I would recommend this book! I cannot wait for the next book in this series!

One little bet with a teammate is about to change Pike Morgan's life in ways that he never anticipated. It was supposed to be a simple mission, hook-up with the ticked off woman that just embarrassed him in front of his teammates, and then collect the rewards of said bet. But when he goes in search of the woman behind the bet, he meets a woman who knocks him off his feet. Indie is nothing like he expected, she's closed-off, doesn't fall at his swoony lines, and seems completely disinterested. Which only makes him want her more... like more than one night more!

Between the pages of Pike readers will meet a playboy that swears he's allergic to love and the sweet, but sometimes feisty, single mom that cures him. These two were pure magic on the page, from their first encounter I knew their story was going to be quite entertaining... and boy was it ever! Pike is use to women falling at his feet and then he meets the one woman that doesn't, and it completely rattles him. But he takes her disinterest as a challenge, he can feel the chemistry that is there, and he knows she feels it too... he just has to find a way to convince her to give him a chance.

I loved watching Pike try to win her time and attention, she wasn't letting him off easy, and she really put him through the paces... but I've got to say it all really paid off for him in the end. This was such a fun and heartwarming story to read. It's perfectly penned words squeezed my heart and it's characters kept me smiling and swooning the whole way through! Highly recommend!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest and unbiased.

Pike is the tattooted, beared, bad boy goalie for the Saints. He and his teammate, Kingston, are out having fun, partying, gambling, having a revolving door. Until Indie walks into Pike's life. Indie's husband left her high and dry. With no job or money she sells her husband's sports memorabilia. Pike buys a baseball but Indie thinks she left her grandma's ring in the case. When she approaches Pike about it he tells he he doesn't have and she gets highly upset with him.

Kingston finds this amusing and wagers a little bet with Pike. Even though he takes the bet his feelings for Indie grow as they get to know each other. Never has a woman had him feel like this. While he knows he needs to tell her the truth, circumstances prevent him from doing so and when she finds out will it be over before it really started?

Can this bad boy become the man Indie deserves? Will Indie be able to forgive him for not telling her about the bet?

We meet Indie's son and sister along with Pike's sister and niece .. Nice side characters although I hope both these ladies find themselves a Las Vegas Saint.

Oh how I love seeing a playboy be brought to their knees by a woman. I love it even more when the woman that sparks some interest friend zones them. hehe.

This is Pike and Indie's friends to lovers story. Pike is the goalie for the Las Vegas Saints, and Indie has recently become a single mom, after her husband left her high and dry.
The meet cute between these two was hilarious. When a bet between Pike and his team mates brings these two back together it kicks off a friendship/ slllooowwww burn between himself and Indie.
But....
Can Pike get himself out of the friend zone?
and...
What happens when feelings become involved but bet secrets are revealed?
I thoroughly enjoyed this friends to lovers sports romance. It had humour, swoon, a little angst and some sizzling chemistry.
I loved some of the side characters and can not wait to read more from this series.

You will love these characters and the story line! You’ll feel pride with how Indie is a strong, loving, and beautiful woman and mother. Her life was turned upside down by her husband who secretly put himself in financial theft and left her along with their little boy. Indie has a overprotective but loving big sister that takes them in to help her get back on her feet. Shortly in the story-enters hot and sexy Pike who gets put in his place by Indie. Pike makes a bet with a teammate that he can get Indie “interested” in him. But surprising himself, he genuinely becomes interested in her. She is the first woman to see him for who he is and not to drop at his feet for whatever he wants. They develop a friendship and now you need to read the book for yourself to find out all of these details! Have a tissue close by because there are a couple of parts that will make you teary and sniffing which makes the book even more incredible to read. Brenda Rothert does not disappoint with her style of writing and you will find that you cannot put the book down!

OMG! I love reading books by Brenda Rothert. Pike is the next book in the Sin City Saints Hockey series. It's Pike and Indie story. Pike is the goalie for the Las Vegas Saints. Indie is a single mom, who has gotten hurt by her husband. I laughed so much the first time that they met. She was chewing him out in front of the WHOLE team at practice. And it all started out when Indie thought that he had something that is very important to her. They became friends at first. Even though Pike wants more with Indie. What would happen when you make a bet with a teammate? Can Indie learn to trust men again? What started out as a bet, grew into something real. This story will capture your attention and not let it go. If you love to read about becoming friends then to lovers. Then it's the perfect book for you. The pace was just right not too fast and not too slow. Keep up the amazing work girl! Can not wait to read more from this series. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Pike and Indie 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. When these two first met it wasn’t the best. Indie was going thru things and assumed things of Pile even though they were total strangers. She finally apologized and the most beautiful friendship was born. These two were so genuine and pure. Indie didn’t care that he was a pro hockey player and that attracted Pike even more. They both started developing feelings but they never overstepped the friendship line. Indie wasn’t ready yet because of a bad relationship. But as time progressed these two couldn’t hold back. Pike changed for the better because of her and she grew a strong backbone. In between they were sad stories from both sides related to family events but besides that really beautiful love story.

This is the second book in the series. I was excited when I found out it is a single mom romance. Pike is a playboy who loves his bachelor lifestyle, but Indie is going throw his life into a 180. She brings out a whole new side of him that really only his family gets to see. Indie and her son captured my heart right off. Man is life knocking Indie down left and right, but lady luck might finally be on her side. Her little boy is so adorable. He is going to melt your heart. Pike's betting ways with his teammate is going to come back to bite him in the butt. This was a really enjoyable book and I'm looking forward to the next book in the series.

Indie is trying hard to suddenly restart and has been put through a lot. Her asshole husband soon to be ex husband just disappears and leaves her with nothing. Pike is fun loving and plays hard at hockey. They meet and connect but Indie is hesitant and cautious. Pike doesn’t give up by having her decorate his house with paintings they spend more time together and really develop the attracting and he helps Indie realize it’s about her as well. She needs to make herself a priority and that’s exactly what she does! Pike and Indie together are a adorable couple, this books packs some heat too! I couldn’t put it down! Highly recommend!

Another quick and cute read by Brenda! Pike is a playboy with no shame about his ways. Indie is a newly-single mom trying to navigate a new normal. When the two collide over a misunderstanding, Pike’s friend sees her as the woman to finally turn Pike down. There in comes the bet, get Indie to sleep with him.

During the process, Pike finds something he didn’t know was possible, friendship and familiarity with a woman he finds attractive. The romance was sweet and realistic and the book had a lot of character development. I’m hoping the next book is Dane because he’s a mystery!

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

4 1/2 STARS!

Highly addictive and downright sweet! Brenda Rothert's second venture into her new Sin City Saints series is a slow burning delight as PIKE meets his match when he least expects it. The characters are endearing and the story is filled with life's ups and downs in various aspects as love wins out in this opposites attract story.

I highly recommend this book as well as the prior book in the series to anyone who enjoys a hockey player being swept off his feet when love knocks him for a loop and turns him into a new man. Sexy, sweet and delightful.
