When my father was murdered, I turned to religion to cope. I found peace until a family secret came to light and my new husband's true self was revealed.
My former Dom is the only one strong enough to help me get out of this precarious place.
In order to survive and become the powerful witch I'm meant to be, I have to walk through the circles of hell, leaving a path of flames behind me.
I say, let it burn.

Trigger Warning - Religious trauma and domestic violence. If these things bother you, please do not buy this book.

I have been writing since high school, but truthfully never thought it would go any further than a few short stories hidden deep within my laptop. It wasn't until my family moved away from everything we knew that I started writing stuff worth sharing. Now, my husband, three kids, our plethora of animals, and I live in the Midwest. When I'm not running around like your stereotypical soccer mom (sans the minivan) I am writing the type of stories I have always secretly treasured. Love stories with a sexy alpha male and a strong submissive female.

This is a great new series by Rachel Blake and Amilia Quinn. The book starts off slow, but it is that way for a specific purpose; the background information that we need to understand before we get to the meat of the story. Ellie, Millie and Stan (Constance) are cousins that grew up together. They also have William, who came into their lives when they were all young and became part of the group. The girls lost their mothers in car accident when they were young. They still had their fathers (except Stan) and they were all raised by their Gran as well. I loved Gran, she reminds me of my grandma, a woman who tells it like it is!

This book focuses on Ellie. She loses her father and she turns to Freddy, a minister, to console her. She finds religion and, she becomes the pastor's wife. They have a Domestic discipline relationship, but it isn't satisfying all her needs like she had before when she had a dom. Freddy is abusive to my mind (and her cousins') and Ellie defends him to all.

The plot picks up quickly and I found myself sitting up way too late to finish the book. We find out more about the girls' mothers and what the real situation is. It will blow your mind! I truly did not expect it. This book does have a HEA for Ellie and ends on a cliffhanger. The next book is about Stan (Constance).

I read this book through KU.

Ms. Blake and Ms. Quinn (aka the dynamic duo) have a flair with words and bringing their readers along for a brilliantly clever storyline. Once again, they have started off this new series with a bang -they have added several twists and turns, keeping this reader on her seat guessing what is next. I want to tell you my favorite part, alas if I do then I will give away a plot twist. The characters are well developed, even the supporting characters, you will be sucked into their lives and rooting for them – or not, depending on the character.
Yes, this book ends with a cliffhanger. It’s a good thing we don’t have to wait too long for the next installment.
You will not be sorry you picked this book up. This will be going onto my re-read pile. It is that good!

Holy He.....

I was DEFINITELY not expecting that!!!!

Seriously I want to gush about this book without giving all the juicy surprises away but I can't!

Ellie, Millie and Stan (Constance) are three cousins who are more like sisters. They support and love each other like no other. They lost their mom's young but they had their Gran by their sides (I want a Gran like her, she's A firecracker)!

There's religion and loss and love and some awesome stuff I refuse to share because wow, you need to experience that yourself!

I think there will be more books....there better be more books cause they can't leave us with just having Ellie's story.

How do I review this book without spoiling it? LOL These two authors together have created some fantastic stories and this book proves it! I loved all the characters. It was so easy to picture them and what was going on because the descriptions of the people and the happenings was beautifully done! That said, please be aware there could be some triggers and this does end on a cliffhanger. I know the next book isn't far away so I'm okay with that! Everything about this book called to me and left me wrapped up in this world!!! Now I just need the next book!

What? Wow! This book truly suprised me! The blurb the authors wrote didn't prepare me for the twist we got but I'm now (im)patiently waiting for book two!
While it reads about the BDSM life it is not your typical "mommy time" book. It explores love, loss, grief, manipulation, secrets, and religion.
I felt a little bit of every emotion while reading this book so I strongly recommend everyone set aside some time to read this story and process what happened. Now i can't stop thinking about what will happen in the next book!

Ms. Blake & Ms. Quinn wrote another wonderful story about family, love, and conflict.

The story draws you in. Just wish it was longer.... but there's always the next book.

I did get frustrated with the main character Ellie. But all is (or will be) resolved.

I love the relationship the girls have, makes me want a bigger family... or be a part of theirs.

I don't reveal the story in my reviews, cuz that's not fair to you. LOL But this is a great story! Pick it up, download it, READ IT!!

I'm super stoked about this new series! It takes you on a journey of three cousins who lost their mothers and rely on their witty, sassy Gran to guide them through life. This is one of those books that's hard to review without spoilers, but let's just say that you need to read it. The character development is amazing and the storyline intriguing. I think a lot of books lack strong supporting characters, but not this one. It ends on a cliffhanger that I'm sure will be worth the wait.

Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!
OMG! I'm not sure what I was expecting but I couldn't put this book down. All of the characters bring out the best in each other. I love how they gather and support each other. This is definitely one family that sticks together. And Gran... love her!! I loved everything! But, I need more!! This is a must read! 📚 📚 This book does have some triggers so be prepared.

This is a brand spankin new series! I was highly emotionally evolved in this book. You go from being angry, to being be sad, to laughing. It does have some darkness, but its also light. I really enjoyed it.
