Another page-turning installment in the Vendetti Famiglia series.

Murder, betrayal, babies, addiction, torture... This book had a little bit of everything.

I really liked Salvatore & Annabella together. Their attraction was instantaneous & love came fast but it worked for them. They made an adorable family with Rosa & hopefully, will be adding several more little ones in the future.

Their story did feel a bit jumbled at times (like I'd have to flip back a page to make sense of something that just happened) & there were distracting grammatical/spelling errors but the famiglia is so addicting & intriguing, you just can't set any of the books down.

Now for my "Dammits". (Hey, it's fun to put things this way.)

Dammit, Salvatore. Wait, no... there isn't really anything that makes me say dammit to you except for the fact that I was irked when you touched Violet in that one scene around the 33% mark. You're pretty easy to love. You're sexy, you're possessive & you're constantly fighting to be better for you & your family. Annabella is one lucky girl.

Dammit, Annabella. I really like you & how fiercely you love & wanna protect both Rosa & Salvatore BUT GIRL... this sh*t with the Irish girl is gonna come back to bite you in the butt in the future. You're lucky that Valentino was on his way to do the same thing but I wish you would've thought about it a bit more. I hate that you're keeping this secret from Salvatore.

Dammit, Valentino. I love you for keeping Annabella's secret but why'd you have to go & fall for the Irish girl? I know there's a lot of details we don't know quite yet about your interactions & that you probably like a spitfire kind of lady but I'm not so sure about this one.

Dammit, Christiano. I was NOT a fan of you screwing Annabella, regardless of it being tradition or that Arianna was there 'participating' with you. With how devoted you seem to Arianna, I find it unbelievable that that would happen. UNLESS... Wait a minute... Annabella did say you were "a bit of a freak"... And the scene was only 'told', not 'shown'... Did you maybe blindfold her like you did Violet & actually stayed true to Arianna while Salvatore screwed her? Hmm... Yeah, I'll choose to believe that because I'm too pissed to think otherwise. #happylittlebubbleplease

I'm already excited to get my hands on the next book in the series! I'm thinking it'll be Valentino's because of all of the bread crumbs that were dropped in this book but I'm not-so-secretly hoping it'll be Dante's turn for a happily ever after.

I'm not the refund kind of girl. If I buy something and don't like it I chalk it up to experience. Well this book was that for me. While the author said the reader needed to be "open-minded" I'm not this "open-minded". Romantic relationships with family members is a hard pass for me and had that been a warning then I would have skipped this book. Nevertheless, for those of you who are a little more "open-minded" than me happy reading.

My favorite!!

I just love this family! The women are strong and will do whatever it takes to protect their family. Sal grows so much in this book that it's amazing to see. I can't wait to see what Sapphire Knight has in store for this family in the future!

This is book four in The Vendetta Famiglia series and it is Salvatore and Annabella's story. Salvatore is the mess up of the mafia family after having a traumatic childhood and he is into all types of substances but when he finds out that he a father to a baby girl which shakes him to his core because he knows absolutely nothing about children he realised that this is his wake up call and he needed to get himself together and sort out his life for the sake of his daughter. Annabella has been chosen as the nanny to take care of the baby but what she wasn't expecting was her reaction to Salvatore so she decided that she will also help him to get his life back together. The chemistry between Salvatore and Annabella is so hot and intense that it sizzles off the pages and I absolutely loved how there story evolved and even though there are many ups and downs along the way they are perfect for each other but what will the outcome be for them. This is the first book that I have read by this author and I definitely look forward to reading more in the future.

Annabella arrives to be nanny to the baby who as yet doesn’t even have a name. Salvatore, the father, drunkard, addict, loser, member of La Familia, one of seven sons, each deadly, loyal and each complicit in a dark secret, the Vendetti Family Curse. Well written with characters that are scary realistic and dialogue that not only rings true, but at times scorched my soul, this story, THIS STORY, is dark, taboo, violent, forbidden, twisted, FLAMING HOT and definitely not for those with delicate sensibilities. I loved it! Brought to life by beautiful, authentic sounding narration, you will want to make sure your headphones are fully charged and ready to go, as you will definitely need them! Five smoking hot, deeply satisfied stars!

Good!

This story was very stressful in ways but it was calming to me in certain ways,sorry can't explain! Salvatore had so many secerts and a ton of problems but he didn't give up on himself and end it! Annabelle was stronger than I thought,just what Salvatore needed by his side.Annabelle didn't Cottle his problems but was there for the support and love that he needed.His brothers was his strong shoulders when he needed,especially Matty and Violet, Matty was his strength thru and thru.Baby Rosa was the apple of his eye and he was there and when he went down that last hole he remembered Baby Rosa and he remembered if he went dark,daddy wouldn't be there to watch her back,see her grow in to young woman. Valatino may of gotten taken down a peg or two but he had a heart when he never gave up Annabelle did,their lives could of change those days if he did! This story was sweet in ways and also very fearse in ways,but good !

So much of Salvatore’s inner dialogue was difficult emotionally. He is very much an addict and has a lot of the feelings of not being enough and weak that go along with that. An easy path is not portaged here. He does some shady stuff, even for a mobster. I do wish Annabella had called him out on it. There is eventually a building of a relationship. “The Vendetti tradition” is definitely interesting. It definitely makes for interesting family relationships after the wedding. Annabella should have been kept in the dark less about a lot of things. She may not have made the giant bad decision she makes. I wonder how long until the truth of that comes out.

Salvatore Vendetti did not disappoint!!

Annabella and Salvatore were amazing together. She was the one women that could keep him from his addictions.

He loved her from the moment he saw her and he fought against those feelings thinking that he wasn’t good enough for her. Little did he know that she felt the same way and when she agreed to become his wife it was everything he didn’t know he needed.

Annabella is a strong women that will do anything to protect her husband, baby, and family.

I’m very intrigued to learn more about Valentino and what is happening with him and the Irish. I’m hoping the rest of this family will get their HEA. Romano and Dante Vendetti are next in line for my reading pleasure and I’m so excited to get more Dante!!

The Vendetti Coward tells the story of Salvatore Vendetti, 2nd oldest and one who's found solace in substance abuse for many years. He uses to escape the trauma of his childhood among other things. Salvatore has lived being the disappointment of the family pretty much his whole life. Now he's faced with a far greater challenge than he's ever had to face before, being a parent. Having been through all that he's been through in his life he's anything but prepared for a new baby. Annabella has been sought out to help Sal with his baby. They both get more than they bargained for when she arrives at the Vendetti home. She may just be what Sal needs.

Let's talk about Salvatore Vendetti.

Family is everything to the Vendetti's. Salvatore has struggled to be part of the family all his life. Having a child changes that, meeting her nanny changes everything. Facing his demons, Salvatore works to become a part of the family he was born to rule with his brothers. In the process he morphs from the family Coward to the family man he's always meant to be.

Sapphire Knight's Vendetti Famiglia is well written and will leave you wondering if the Vendetti curse is real, because each one will steal a piece of your heart.

Addictive

Another 5 star read. What a famiglia. This storyline keeps getting better. Alpha males everywhere with the hero getting to grips with his demons with sheer determination. The heroine had no idea of the Vendetti traditions, harking back many generations when she became a Nanny which lead her to marriage. I hope there are more Vendetti books still to come as there many loose ends which left this reader on a cliffhanger.

Coward

What is a coward? Will this book will show you or will it? This whole series was been so good to read and following this family of men that are so must up and to see how the life they chose to live. If you have not read then please go to the first in this story so you understand. Thank you Sapphire and can't wait for the next story. Those damn Irish!!!

Sal, a father? No one could have seen that coming, as Sal is doing everything he can to make sure his daughter has a father at her side, while still struggling from withdrawals and trying to face his demons. But what he finds and accomplishes is much more

I love the Vendetti family!
Like all stories in this family, this reading is not for sensitive hearts. There is a lot of darkness in this family, but there is also loyalty and passion and strong love. Sal and Annabella are just what they need for each other. Another fantastic read!.

The Vendetti saga keeps getting better and better.

Salvatore is the screwup - drugs and alcohol- messed him up. But in this story he gets that redemption and then some. Think he’s my favorite.

Annabella is his queen and the perfect match to his darkness. Their over the top spicy scenes will make you very hot.

Keep an open mind because this family has a tradition.

This was an excellent addition to this gritty series. Salvatore had his demons he must conquer before they get the best of him. Annabella is the younger nanny brought in to help him with his daughter. There's plenty of drama and several sexy scenes. Great read!

* this series is always a quick reread for me. I wish the author would finish the rest of the brothers.

EAch brother this series just gets better and better. Love Annabella she was strong and a badass when it came to taking care of her family. Savaltore redeems himself and i just love him. Cant wait to read more. I hope Valentine is first with the Irish, then Dante.
