Prince of Seduction

Rate this book
Long ago, Tadhg O'Clereigh learned that the answer to surviving his curses lay at the bottom of a bottle. At least until he meets Lady Keelynn Bannon, a high-born human in possession of an enchanted emerald ring that could set him free.

He'll do anything to get that ring-including agree to escort Keelynn on her fool-hearted quest for vengeance.

As their perilous cross-country journey brings them closer, Tadhg realizes that, as much as he needs the ring, he wants the woman who wears it more.

Oh Tadhg, you sweet steamy cinnamon roll … I just want to crawl into this book and take all of your pain away! This series continues to sink its claws into my soul and I will never have enough of these characters or this world. If you thought A Cursed Kiss was phenomenal just wait until you read Tadhg’s POV! And let’s take a moment to appreciate all of the extra Rian & Ruari we got to see!! Even knowing how this would end, my heart broke in all new ways for what Tadhg was going through.

Do yourselves a favor and read this as soon as it’s released! It adds so much more depth & flavor to the original story! Thank you to Jenny Hickman for an eARC, I’m so grateful I was put out of my misery and able to revisit this world and these characters before the official release!

I love Tadhg. I feel for him and his horrible curse.

This was the same as the first book, just with his point of view. Even though i loved reading about how he fell in love with her, i still kinda found it a little bit rushed and sudden.

I would LOVE a book about Ruairi. I'm not ashamed to admit that i spent like an hour daydreaming about him 🚶‍♀️

If I loved A Cursed Kiss, reading it from Tadhg's point of view made me fall in love with the story and him even more. And to be able to see Keelynn through his eyes made both of their character arcs that much better to see unfold.

It was also so bittersweet to see his side of the story because I knew Tadhg was such a broken character, so empty in the beginning. So done with everything and everyone. But it absolutely broke me to see how he thought of himself sometimes. His thoughts were heartbreaking and so dark. So to see him slowly find the love and happiness I knew he deserved, was so fulfilling to see. I adore him.

Also, Tadhg is hilarious so it made the overall plot that much more fun. His thoughts were EVERYTHING. I loved this book and it made me love and appreciate all characters even more. It also left me excited to see Rían's story. I cannot wait to start A Cursed Heart and Price of Deception. They both will be books I will be screaming at the whole time while reading them. I cannot wait ♥️

✨Okay this was everything I needed and honestly I’m craving even more now! This book is A Cursed Kiss but through Tahdg’s point of view and it helped me fulfill my urge to want to reread A Cursed Kiss.
.

✨This book complimented book one so much! Everything I loved from a cursed kiss but from my favorite half fae’s pov. Let me just say Tahdg’s perspective was so emotional. All the back and forth going thru his mind, his curses 😭 it was an emotional roller coaster. I loved getting to see all the things happening off page in book one as well. You get to see more about Tearmann and how Tahdg and Rían rule their kingdom.
.

✨Even knowing everything that happens in this story was still flipping through the pages like I’d never read this story before. It was fresh but familiar and I’m just so in love with Jenny’s writing. Thank you so much for allowing me to win this eArc and letting my impatient self get back to this world early.

This story is from Tadhg´s POV. And I love it.
This book shows us his true feelings, how miserable he is for his sins and the weaknes he is suffering.

After reading this book, I love Tadhg even more.

Myths of Airren are amazing, well written and good characters.

This is A Cursed Kiss' or Tadhg's point of view of the story, a prequel to the first book.

I loved Tadhg in the first book, and he's, of course, his-selfish-self in this story too, but I felt the book was too repetitive. There was nothing new in this book.
I found his character very interesting and appealing in the first book, not so much in this one.
Don't get me wrong, I love the author's writing style, and I enjoyed this book, but it was a lot like a reread and not a new book.

I still love this crazy half-fae and half-witch. He may be cursed and wants to break the curse after so many years, but he's not the monster all around, making him feel.

Self-absorbed, absolutely.
Arrogant, 100%.
A monster, definitely not.

I recommend reading the first book, A Cursed Kiss 💋, you'll love this lunatic and his brother.

✨ARC Review✨

“Fiadh hadn’t needed to curse my lips to keep me from finding the one thing that could truly set me free. That part of me, the part that knew how to love someone more than myself, had always been broken.”

So here’s the thing…it was fun to read about Tadhg when I read A Cursed Kiss. I mean it was how I was introduced to a morally grey cinnamon roll (is that even a thing? 😂). However, to read about Tadhg, and to get a book from his POV, well THAT my friends, is SWOON WORTHY! I am officially a puddle of goo 🫠

What’s On The Pages:
-I will make it short and sweet! It’s getting to read about every quirk, and every emotion of Tadhg that is possible!
Drunk Tadhg? ✔️
Sarcastic Tadhg? ✔️
Handsy Tadhg? ✔️
Dirty Talker Tadhg? ✔️
Make you swoon in the bed Tadhg? ✔️
Caring, Cinnamon Roll Tadhg? ✔️

It’s simple…if you enjoyed A Cursed Kiss, and you especially enjoyed Tadhg, and you just can’t get enough of his dirty mouth, then you just need to read this!

✨Prince of Seduction is Book 1.5 in The Myths of Airren series, and it is a companion novel to A Cursed Kiss told from Tadhg’s perspective✨

I adored this so much. I was already a fan of Tadhg but this just made me fall undeniably harder for him.

I had such a fantastic time viewing everything that unfolded and then some in the first book from Tadhg's POV. This man was absolutely obsessed and there is nothing more that makes me quite happy like seeing him act as a fool in love.

UGHHHH this added so much depth to all of the characters involved and Jenny did a freaking fantastic job at having everything come all together. To see Keelyn from his eyes adds so much more context to and richness to their relationship dynamic as wells as heightens the intensity of it all. This made me even more obsessed with not only our characters but the world as a whole. I adore how this was able to genuinely depict the injustices that the magical folk face and the weight of all that Tadhg has to carry to ensure their survival.

The only way I am able to end this review is by continuing to express how much I have grown to be attached to these characters and the entire narrative. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and I felt anger as a result of the injustices. So many feels were invoked the whole time I was reading. I absolutely devoured this and Jenny never fails to make me absolutely invested. I loved every second of this and highly recommend this to those looking to enjoy a story of a cursed rakish prince and his path to finding genuine love.

I won a ARC, and I love this series.

Ow lord, my poor poor Tadhg.
Its a good thing we know Keelynn story, but ow I wanted to slap her in this one.

The point of view from our prince is very well written. And interesting what He was up to when he was away in kiss.

If you want to whole story of these characters you have to definitely read them all.

This was everything I didn’t know I needed! Taghd’s sarcastic, slightly twisted personality made for an amazing POV! His thoughts and comments were funny and sad and heartbreaking and absolutely satisfying.
I loved A Cursed Kiss and I’m obsessed with this world and the characters so seeing the same events through different eyes just makes for such a whole picture!

Seeing the events from A Cursed Kiss through Taghd’s POV just made this story feel so completed! Taghd is one of my all-time favourite male main characters, so getting his feelings and adding that to the plot made me extremely happy!

I’m beyond grateful that I won an eARC of this story and I can’t wait to reread it once I have my physical copy!

Love love love. Can’t get enough of Taidgh and Rian. This book is the same storyline as A Cursed Kiss, but told from Taidghs perspective. This series quickly jumped to one of my all time favorite fantasy series and I am so excited for the next book 🤗 😍

4*

I have been waiting for this book since Jenny said she would be releasing Tadgh’s POV. The obsession I have on him isn’t even funny anymore, But I try to write this review as unbiased as I possibly could.

I always liked the Jenny’s writing, the banters were just awesome here. I love I could get into Tadgh’s mind and whenever he is with his brother it’s almost easy to forget that he isn’t a crown prince or 200+ immortal but just a kid out there to annoy his brother. It’s all real and related. I love the siblings rivalry.

The only I hated - well, not hated more like annoyed from the first book was Keelyn’s attitude in general. Though that was also understandable but defo seeing it in a new light from Tadgh’s perspective.

I wasn’t expecting to see new things / new infos when I decided to read this novella because of course it’s just same story written in different POV but I love it’s not the same redundant info, but also new things like why he kissed Clara or Aine or how they kidnap those children and the pig, to name a few.

But as much as understands this is also novella, I did have a little expectation, scenes I wanted to read from Tadgh’s POV - like when Robert was manhandling Keelyn, I wanted to see his anger so those few things were a little disappointment.

Bello.

This book is basically the other POV for A Cursed Kiss. I encourage readers to read this second, though it can be a standalone too. You do get more information about the characters and more backstory that help expand the world and really immerse yourself in the story. It was a fun twist to see the story from this new POV. Loved it!

Hello it’s me again, explaining why I love this series so much because ugh, I still don't know who I love more: Tadgh or Rian?

Prince of Seduction takes place at the same time as A Cursed Kiss and is in Tadgh's POV. The book starts off with giving us somewhat of an idea of what kind of womanizer our boy was and how he found himself in this tricky situation that is being the Gancanagh and let's be honest here... he kindda did do a shitty thing. Does he deserve to be punished for as long as he has? No but clearly Fiadh doesn't feel the same way as I do.

I love the nickname that Tadgh gives Keelyn in his head since he always called her Maiden Death in A Cursed Kiss. He's just a sassy Irishman who doesn't care for the sassiness of Keelyn.

The good:

-I loved getting Tadgh's POV because we already had Keelyn's and it was interesting to see what was happening on his end when shit was going down. It provided a more well-rounded view for the reader to really understand what was going on. This book really complemented A Cursed Kiss so well.

-Seeing the dinner scene in the blue dress through Tadgh's POV was great. We know that Rian and Tadgh have your typical brother relationship and this really proved it.

-There was some spice, just like a dash - a sprinkle if you will but it is there and it is Tadgh thinking things...

Just some thoughts:

-My heart breaks so much when Tadgh is forced to do things because of his curse. He has had to deal with it for so long and when he finally meets someone who he actually cares about, he has convinced himself that the feelings she has for him aren't real and ugh he's such a little cinnamon bun who is just as obsessed with sweets as I am... I mean, the part where she picked blackberries for them to eat when they are in the cabin... ugh, adorable.

-I can't wait to see Aveen and Keelyn reunited! They are going to really give these boys a run for their money!

- This book really scratched the itch and I cannot wait for book 3!

Tropes: slow burn, great banter, curses, forced proximity, strong-independent woman, morally grey fae, found family

Yes I know. I'm obsessed. You're all sick of me talking about this Jenny Hickman woman and her fantastic books? Well, it's not over. Here's another review about another INCREDIBLE Hickman book!

So where as A Cursed Kiss is all from Keelynns POV, in this book we get to hear what's happened from the Prince of Seduction himself- Tadhg.

I love this book because we get to see poor Tadhg, the once selfish Prince - Cursed to give any woman who asks a good time (and with Tadhg it WOULD certainly be a good time 👀), fall in love and watch the only person he's ever cared about choose someone else over him. That someone else who was Robert-the bland-Trench who was also having it off with his maid. Bloody Robert Trench is the root problem of both Keelynn and Aveens problems.
I feel so sad for Tadhg watching her fawn over him again and made to feel like he was a back up plan, a means to an end and a last resort when he is so lovable- if you ignore the room full of dead women in his castle that is.

It fills in some gaps as to why Tadhg did some things but most of all I just loves seeing more of his personality. He's funny, sweet and I just want him to have his happy ending with Keelynn!

Prince of Deception (book 2.5 and Rians POV for the A Cursed Heart book) is available February and A Cursed Love (Book 3 in the series) is out in November! I don't think I'm gonna be able to wait that long! 😭

Prince of Seduction is the companion to A Cursed Kiss in the Myths of Airren series. It follows the events of A Cursed Kiss from Tadhg's perspective. It is absolutely necessary to read A Cursed Kiss before reading Prince of Seduction.

I loved A Cursed Kiss so much, and I didn't think the story could get any better. Then I read Prince of Seduction, and now my mind is blown! Tadhg's added perspective on his and Keelyn's story is everything! He's brilliantly funny, especially when drunk. His inner monologues alternated between making me laugh out loud and wanting to cry. While heartbreaking at times, I found it really important to see how much Tadhg struggled with the seduction curse. In A Cursed Kiss it wasn't always apparent that Tadhg didn't want to go off with the many women who yearned for his company, but here we can see his true feelings.

My favorite parts of this book were the moments between Tadhg and Rían. After reading A Cursed Heart, their relationship has become one of my favorites. I love the way Jenny ended POS. If you've read A Cursed Heart you know where the story is going, but it has just made me so excited to read Prince of Deception (the future companion novel to A Cursed Heart). This is a wonderful addition to the Myths of Airren series, and I highly recommend it if you've read and loved A Cursed Kiss!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’m not ashamed to say that I waited until midnight to get this Precious book and Wow! Worth it!!!
I just finished and I’m so happy! In love and obsessed with this series that I can’t Even bring myself to write!
I want to start this review saying that if you “Hated” A Cursed kiss you need to read this to understand and basically to educate yourself so you can stop being silly coz All of these books are AMAZING!!!
It was amazing to finally have Tadgh side of the story! Him telling us how he was feeling, how much he wanted her since the very beginning and his struggle with the curse! Because we didn’t saw that in a Cursed kiss! At least I didn’t !! I was thinking he did enjoy bedding all those women but it wasn’t like that at all at least no after he meet her!!!
Keelyn is nice and stuff but she was just too stubborn and selfish, i wished she was more clear and honest about her feelings because they were everywhere girl!!
My heart was broken because I really didn’t know he loved her that much! How much he was sacrificing and how good, noble and even soft hearted he is!!! I’m not sure I’m ok! 😂😂 …
I am #TeamRían all the way but Tadgh got me thinking and considering to open myself to a new love obsession so I’m officially #TeamTadgh… thank you Jenny for this! I needed it this book to fully understand and get a better picture of who my Prince of seduction is…

Tadhg 💔

I read the first two books last year and absolutely adored them, so when a friend told me she was reading them it made me want to dive back in. I decided to read this instead of re-reading book 1 and it was a great decision.

It completely changed my outlook on pretty much everything that happened in the first book. It was heartbreaking to see some of the scenes from Tadhg's POV and to see the true depth of his curse 🫣 And I loved how chaotic everything was from his perspective. Not to mention the narrative was hilarious at times.

I think i'll always be a Rian girl and i'm dying to re read his book so the extra scenes between the two brothers was fantastic. The scene where they kidnapped the children had me in tears laughing. Jenny Hickman is a truly brilliant writer ❤️❤️

I now require every book to have a companion novel, because this is brilliant. Getting the opposite pov added so many more elements & really rounded out the story. Things that seemed insignificant in the first book were nodded to, & gained significance in this one. I really, really enjoyed it. And i’m excited to see that the next book will also be getting a companion novel.
Side note: drunk Tadhg is my favorite.

Same problems as Keelynn's POV. I hate her. She's spoiled, selfish, bigoted and doesn't deserve Tadhg. I may have changed my mind, but the Robert stuff late in both books was utterly ridiculous. I enjoyed this more, as we got to see more of Tearmann and the relationships between Tadhg and those closest to him.

This is A Cursed Kiss from Tadhg’s POV so you can see what he was up to when he wasn’t with Keelynn. I still feckin’ loved it.
Note: There are big conversations left out of this book and/or just briefly mentioned so you would have to read this book right after A Cursed Kiss for full understanding.
