About the author

Telling a story has always been of great interest to David Berner, who has been doing so for the past thirty years. An admirer of ancient literature, myth, and folklore, he not only wishes to give life to his characters, but also to build the world in which they exist and the passion by which they are driven. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Masters in Art in Creative Writing, during which he wrote one of his novels A Phantom Rain. He is the author of the series The Illumination of Calistis; The Arterian Redemption; The Broken Judgment; and The Witching Hour. He also is the creator of the video game The Iron Destinies and has also penned a few graphic novels. In addition to writing, he is also a fantasy cartographer and is the artist behind the many maps of Arteris. His independent publishing company, Rogue Moon, is the foundation by which his novels are produced, and he continues to add titles whenever creativity strikes.
