I move into one, list the other as an Air B&B, and immediately get to work on building another.

This was such a sweet and romantic story😍😍 I loved how Slade and Eva interacted with each other and how they instantly fell for each other. Slade finally found his One and all the trouble and heartbreak from before just evaporated. Insta love ,sweet,safe steamy with a sweet HEA and no drama😍😍😍😍👍👍👍

Fantastic book. Slade is building cabins in the mountains to rent out. He is recovering from a botched relationship that sent him straight to the bottle. He likes the solitude of the mountain life. His first guest is Eva, a romance writer. She chose to stay in one of Slade’s cabins for inspiration on her new mountain man series. This man gives her all the inspiration she needs and then some. Slade doesn’t want to reveal his feelings for Eva because he’s afraid she won’t stay. What happens when a mistaken post goes viral about their time together? Will they ever be able to overcome it? Power saws can be soothing.

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Slade mets Eva when she comes to his air B&B, she needs inspiration for a mountain man, so what better place to go than Alaska. When Eva's trying to get her character some thought she is startled by a powerful chainsaw. Eva falls off her chair, then she goes to find out who is making the noise. That's when Eva mets Slade, who is working on his next cabin. Slide stops and notices Eva standing and watching him. Eva asks Slade to be her inspiration for her mountain man. Slade gets help from his best friend Everett on his cabins, but has to leave, his twin brothers, Hunter and Elijah are arriving soon. Slade is glade when Everett leaves and he is left standing, Eva comes and asks him if he has some time. Eva tells Slade she has some questions, but he can work while she asks them. The next day Eva gets all her thoughts out on paper ready to write but she notices she has a wi-fi connection, so she sends an update to her social media. When there's a knock on her door it startles Eva and she screams, Slade comes bursting through her door asking if she's hurt. Eva tells him he caught her off guard that's all, Slade tells her he knows she needs to take a break and offers her his hot tub. Eva joins Slade in his hot tub, she didn't have anything to wear so she comes in her bra and panties. Slade and Eva talk about all they accomplished over the day, both have deadlines. Eva confesses she's never kissed a man with a beard and it's hard to write about it, Slade asks her if she wants to. Eva tells him for research purposes she needs to, then Slade leans forward and kisses her. Slade asks her if it will help with her book, Eva tells him it's a start. Eva sits back and acts like the kiss didn't affect her, but it did. Then Eva takes her bra off, and Slade tells her he doesn't want her to regret anything. Eva tells him she's curious how his beard feels in other places. Then Eva straddles him, Slade asks her where. Slade trails kisses down her breast, and Eva knows she's been missing out. Slade tells Eva to come for him, then asks her if that was inspirational enough. Slade climbs out of the hot tub and tells her he needs to get to bed, he has an early morning. Eva gets several pages completed, over the next couple of days. Then when Eva sees the Wi-fi is strong she sends out a bunch of emails, and she sends her readers another post to her social media. Then Slade comes knocking on her door, telling her he brought her food. Slade asks Eva if she's ready to let him read her book, but she tells him she doesn't think he's earned that privilege just yet. Eva lets him know that she's running low on inspiration while she unbuttons his shirt. Slade asks her if she's sure, then he takes off her clothes. Slade pleasures her, then carries her to her loft. Slade soon realizes he's falling for her and Eva realizes she's falling for him. When Slade's best friend Everett comes over to help with the other cabins, he tells him to talk to Eva. Slade heads inside to take a shower, then goes to Eva's cabin. Eva invites him inside he pleasures her then they make love. The next morning Slade wakes with Eva pressed against him, then he pleasure her again. Slade tells her he loves her, and he wants her to stay. Eva's taking a shower when she comes out she finds a very angry Slade, he asks her what this is and points to her laptop. Slade asks her if he's some kinds of social media joke to her, Eva tells him no. Slade tells her everything they've done she posted online Eva tells him no she only posted two. Slade tells her there's three, in confusion Eva rushes to her computer and realizes her thoughts she was writing she posted. She needs inspiration and finds it right outside her window...what a great way to research!
Slade is the tenth book in the Brothers in Arms in Alaska series. If you have read the previous book, Holden, then you will remember Slade Black, as they are brothers. A year ago Slade was a mess. His wife had blind sided him and wrecked his world when they got a divorce. His way of dealing with it was a lot of drinking at all times of the day. At the Three Rivers Festival last year he made a spectacular of himself and almost caused issues with Holden and Rachel's budding relationship. After that day he got sober and stayed sober. He bought twenty acres on the mountain with a couple of cabins on them. He wanted build a couple more and start an Air B&B business. His first customer is Eva Sheridan. Eva is a city girl who makes her living as a romance writer but currently is having a major writers block. She has come to Alaska and the mountains to get inspiration to write a mountain man romance, which her readers have been asking for. Eva expects peace and quiet so she can concentrate and hopefully inspiration will come through the door. Instead what she gets is a chain saw disrupting her, not that inspiration has come quite yet. But when she stomps out to find the offender inspiration hits like a lightning blot in the form of a very tall, big, broad, built, handsome, bearded, flannel wearing and super sexy tight butted mountain man standing right in front of her. She needs some research and he is about to be her partner in that. When Slade is interrupted by his first guest he is amused by her fluffy slippers and pajamas....but also he is turned on by her spunk and curvy beauty. It seems that maybe Slade has gotten a few lightning bolts also. He agrees to help her with her research as long as he can continue to build the cabin he is trying finish winter comes. But this research partnership may just become a whole lot more with one hot tub, some red laced underwear and those darn fluffy slippers....let the research begin!!!
I laughed and loved this story. It was great to see that Slade has straightened his life out and was doing something that he was determined to finish. The sizzle between Slade and Eva was there from the start, even if it was masked as research at the beginning. Eva is spunky, fun, sweet, intelligent and interesting. I really liked how she became like one of her characters when she finally decided to let go and take a big chance. This book is a great addition to this series.

I really liked this short love story. It was entertaining and enjoyable for the most part. The characters were interesting and likable although I did want to smack Eva upside the head more than once. Posting stuff online about someone else is a big no (for me). Slade didn't consider himself to be a mountain man even though he lived on a mountain and definitely dressed the part. Eva was a writer that had writer's block so she was looking for inspiration. When the two of them met they were immediately attracted to each other. Eva was sure that Slade could help her with some inspiration for her new book. Slade was definitely up for the position of muse. I liked their happy ever after. I do wish there was an epilogue further out but I still liked how the story ended. I recommend reading this book.

Slade bought some land on the mountain when he got out, his ex has done on number on him that he prefers the quite life. Slade started to build cabins on his land to rent. First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Slade is the tenth book in the ‘’brothers in arms in Alaska’’ series. This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Eva is a romance writer that is in Alaska trying to get rid of writers block. When she meets the owner of her air b n b sparks fly but will love blossom?
The chemistry between Slade and Eva is clear to see and I liked them together.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.

Eva has come to the Alaskan mountain to write a mountain man romance novel. She doesn’t have any experience with a mountain man and when she sees Slade, the owner of the cabin, an idea starts to take shape. Slade is starting his own B & B. He is building the next cabin as she works on her book. She talks to him about possibly getting some book inspiration from him - her own personal mountain man. It starts with a look, then a kiss and then everything gets a little wild and crazy. They are sizzling hot! Really enjoyable, entertaining, easy reading and so sweet. It’s a story within a story.

I was looking through some emails and saw this book advertised. I thought I hit all other books in this series, I didn't. Love mountain men books. This one didn't disappoint at all. I enjoyed the way that Eva and Slade finally got together. Understandable he hesitated after his previous connection. Eva certainly found her muse and he found the woman of his dreams. Love the descriptions of the area, the people and scenery. I really enjoyed this book and hope you will too. Written by Cindy :)

A short steamy insta love story with an older mountain man and a younger curvy woman. Eva is a romance writer and ends up renting a cabin to help with her writers block. She meets Slade when he starts the power tool and makes so much noise that she can't think. She marches over to where Slade is working an he has to keep from grinning when he sees her green slippers. Super fun story, only one misunderstanding, lots of inspiration for her Mountain Man series she's writing. Great chemistry. but a girls gotta have an escape from all that sexy writing....so maybe more research!
I am so glad Slade turned his life around and has new focus on his cabins....then his perfect woman drops in his lap needing a muse and help with research. Well it would be rude not to!!!

An enjoyable book 10 in the Brothers In Arms In Alaska series! It is fast-paced, intriguing, funny, steamy, witty, and well written with likeable characters, instant chemistry, and more. Definitely recommended.

A clumsy love. The heroine is quite funny in a completely awkward kind of way! I love how she thinks her life isn't a steamy novel but oh my it is! Steamy!

One of my favorite things about this series is that, even though each book is a stand alone, characters from other books pop in to be revisited. I truly enjoy reading those " what comes next" snippets.

This is a great book. Ms. Hart painted sexy, sweet picture with Slade & Eva's story. The characters were great together. Their chemistry sizzled and their passion was steamy. A great story with a sweet HEA. Must read!

I have not read a bad book from this author yet and this book is no exception! The great plot and character development kept me so engaged throughout the entire book that I had an awfully hard time putting this book down until the very last page was turned!

This is another steamy insta-love stories with the Brothers in Arms in Alaska with Slade and Eva. He is building cabins on his land so he can rent them out and she rents one so that she can get her next steamy book written about a mountain man and Slade is her inspiration. Great alpha romance.

I loved how Eva was experiencing a writer's block and went to Alaska for inspiration. She really was lucky with burnt once by love, Slade. He was the owner of the cabin she rented. Eva not only found love but a series of inspiration in the mountains.

I loved Slade and Eva. Their lifestyle is perfect for both their needs. Her writing and his building. Their love story is so wonderful. I loved every word . Their happy ever after is perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed their story and highly recommend this book.
