Boy these men getting a 2nd chance on the ranch sure know how to scoop the single woman up. Hazel works at the dress shop she hopes to own one day. She hired the sister of Lawson the new ranch hand. They meet at a party and the rest is history in this small town.

Lawson is the second book in the Bad Boys of Daisy Hills series. This story finds a bad boy with a true heart of gold who will do whatever it takes to keep those he cares about and loves protected and safe, including ending up in prison for 5 years. Lawson Graves finds himself in Daisy Hills and working at the Daisy Hills Creek Ranch. He is definitely not a cowboy but he does rides horses, as in the metal kind. Lawson is there to work for the only friend he had while he was in prison, Wade, for the time he is on parole. His younger sister, Londyn, has also moved to town to be together, after she had moved around and been hidden the last five years to keep herself safe. Wade would do anything for Londyn and he already proved that five years ago. Hazel Monroe is the manager of Dresses for Days which is the only dress shop on the main street of Daisy Hills. She really enjoys her job and would like to buy the shop from Sheila Davenport when she decides to finally sell. Hazel has a lot of ideas for changes to the shop and business but Mrs. Davenport is old fashioned and wants to keep things just as they are, including having a dress code is only dresses. Hazel and Lawson meet at a surprise party out on the ranch, with a matchmaking Chloe working some magic. But Hazel is part Daisy Hills and always will be and Lawson plans on moving on as soon as his parole is over. Will they be able to make it work?
I enjoyed this easy and entertaining read. The story-line was engaging and the characters are wonderful. There were a few times that I rolled my eyes, especially when his old "rival" showed up and caused a bit of drama and the book does need another round with a good proofreader, as there were a number of easily spotted errors. But otherwise it was a fun story that I liked a lot.

Sometimes instead of running you need to stand.
I really liked this story. It was entertaining and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable for the most part. Londyn was Lawson’s sister and he was protective of her while she was very independent. She was protective of him as well. Lawson was starting over and his sister was with him so he could protect her. Hazel was sweet but sassy and motivated. She had a plan for her future and was working toward it. Hazel and Lawson were attracted to each other immediately but Lawson was certain that he wasn’t going to put down roots. Things changed. Lawson and Hazel got closer. There was some drama and angst but it resolved well. I loved their happy ever after. I recommend reading this book.

First things first; I like the cover of this book!
Lawson is the second book in the ‘’bad boys of daisy hills’’ series.
This story is short, fast paced and an enjoyable read. I read this book in one sitting and was satisfied throughout. I found the writing style easy to follow, the characters likeable and the storyline enjoyable. Lawson has not long since been released from prison. Whilst doing his parole in a small town, will he find love?
The chemistry between Lawson and Hazel is clear to see and I liked them together.
I loved that Hazel stood up for Londyn. I also loved how close and protective Lawson was of his sister.
I liked the ending and the epilogue for this story.
The storyline for this book is easy to follow and it is an enjoyable read. I look forward to more books from this series.

Lawson is working at Wade's ranch and when he follows his sister into Dresses for Day's because there was a wanted sign on the window. Londyn ends up getting the job and Lawson ends up meeting Hazel. There is sizzling electricity between Lawson and Hazel. Lawson is ready to put down roots as long as Hazel is in his life. Their chemistry is hot and your rooting for their HEA. Trouble comes knocking at Lawson's door. Someone he hoped to never see again. Will get be able to keep Hazel safe from from the jerk that tried to hurt his sister? Do the people in Daisy Hill have Lawson's back. Great story with plenty of steam and some danger.

Hazel manages the dress shop in Daisy Hills when she gets invited to a surprise birthday party for her friends husband she is not sure she wants to go and spend the evening around all the couples that will be there but her friend assure her there will be a few single guys so she agrees to attend. She ends up meeting Lawson who is out of prison and still on parole but she falls for him and even hires his sister Lyndon. This is a sweet unexpected romance with two different people that have a hot chemistry.

A bad boy with a heart of gold trying to make good, nice storyline with intriguing characters. Liked that previous characters drop in showing how their lives have progressed. Fun in seeing the swoony Lawson open up and become part of the community and making friends.

The first thing I have to say is this book was HOT HOT HOT.... second thing who could deny a hot sexy dangerous bad boy who is sweet caring and loving on the inside, and third this book was fantastic.

This was very good for how short it was. I actually understood why these two people were attracted to each other.
Lawson danced the line of "bad boy" and die-hard loyal really well. And Hazel danced the line between "small town beauty" and cool enough to call people on their bullshit.
It also felt like a lot actually happened in how short this book was.

Kali Hart painted a sexy, sweet picture with Lawson and Hazel's story. They were so perfect together. Their chemistry sizzled and sparked right off the pages. Lawson is every girl's dream. This is a really charming story with a delightful HEA!

Lawson and Hazel have chemistry from the first time they meet. Hazel is looking for love but Lawson doesn’t think he’s good enough for her considering his past. A quick fast paced read with some suspense and a lot of steam. I received an arc copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Hazel is the one person Lawson never knew he needed, after going to jail for protecting his sister London whom I love!! These two find that the little town of Daisy Falls is the perfect place to find a second chance. I love this series and Kali is one of my favorite authors.
