I’m a workaholic and proud of it. I’ve accomplished everything on my ten-year plan, except getting married before turning thirty. The problem is, I don’t believe in romance or true love anymore—but my biological clock is screaming at me. I probably shouldn’t have accepted an arranged marriage proposal, but I did, and I boarded a plane to Argentina to meet my future husband. Fate, however, had other plans. Naseem cannot believe his eyes - right in front of him is the girl he let get away (perhaps, more accurately, pushed away) and Summer's even more beautiful than she was 12 years ago when they were just teens. He knows he doesn't deserve to be around her, never deserved her, but he can't seem to take his eyes off her, even though she looks at him either with indifference or contempt with eyes that used to only hold joy and love when aimed at him.



Summer has a 10-year plan for her life. She's been working and has everything but the relationship. That's why she's about to embark on a flight to Argentina - to marry the husband that was arranged for her. Yep, an arranged marriage. But then her plane malfunctions and now she's face to face with her past, the ex who destroyed her when they were teens. But now she's stuck in the same place with him til she can find a new flight. Will the chemistry that seems to never have died down, be too much for them to resist? Will she give him a chance to redeem himself, or at least to explain why he did what he did all those years ago?



Wow, this was a heartbreaker. Naseem had so much baggage, and I wanted to hug him even as I wanted to shake him for not getting his shit together, which meant he hurt Summer badly, twice. Their chemistry was seriously hot, they were clearly still in love with each other, and I love how they found their way back to each other.

I really enjoyed this second chance romance from new to me author Sage Spelling. Summer and Naseem were high school sweethearts when tragedy rocks Naseem's world and he ends up pushing Summer away and breaking her heart. 12 years goes by and they both happen to be in Rio, and run into each other. Summer is so not happy to see Naseem, and let's him know it, she is in Rio only because the plane she was on had some issues and that's where they landed. Naseem is there with Carter and his family to celebrate his marriage to Kendall. Summer ends up staying with them until she can get a flight out, and that can't happen soon enough now that she's in close proximity to the man who shattered her heart. Fate seems to have other ideas for these two, and they end up actually spending some time just the 2 of them, and Summer finally finds out the real reason Naseem pushed her away. The chemistry between them is still off the charts hot...actually hotter, now that they are adults. They also still carry feelings for each other that have never gone away and they act on those feelings. Naseem still carries those fears that made him push Summer away all those years ago, so will the second time around be any different, or is Summer, and Naseem both gonna get hurt again? You'll just have to read this book to find out if the love they have will be enough, and if Naseem will finally allow himself to truly live his life instead of just going through the motions, and just basically existing.

I enjoyed reading this charming second chance love story by Sage who was a new author to me. High school sweethearts Summer and Naseem unexpectedly run into each other and those feelings start to ignite but Summer was badly hurt by him so she is reluctant to be around him but fate has other ideas for them! Naseem has his own issues to deal with which Summer can’t seem to get past but they have a sexy chemistry. This book was delightfully charming and I was hooked and excited to see what would happen next with them. This book is part of The Cocky Hero Club but can be read as a standalone. I received this book as an arc for my honest opinion.

Nas and Summer haven’t seen each other in years. After a breakup that left both feeling empty, they came face to face with each other, stirring old feelings back to life.

Naseem was flying the family of a friend to his wedding reception when he landed them in the same place Summer was trying to catch a flight from to her own wedding. Having to stay under the same roof brought the two closer than Summer liked. Naseem wants to explain what happened years ago, but Summer’s stubbornness won’t let him. With the forced proximity, it will force the two of them to talk to each other.



This book is also one of the many books in the Cocky Heros World. Which means it’s romantic, funny and HEA guaranteed.

I loved this book as much as I love the other books from the Cocky Heros World that I’ve read so far. Naseem kept denying that he still has feelings for Summer, but they both were fooling themselves. It shows how fate can bring people back together. The characters are great and the writing is gripping. I couldn’t stop reading, wishing I could read faster.



It’s a second chance romance with high school sweethearts seeking forgiveness and acceptance. Finding your soulmate can be hard and also like it’s a thing hopeful people made up, but in this book, two found each other after all the heartbreak and hardships of life.

This is another great addition to this amazing series, and I love having the opportunity to read books by new author, and I will certainly be looking out for this authors’ work in the future. Summer and Naseem were high school sweethearts until a tragedy had Naseem pushing Summer away and breaking her heart in the process. Now 12-years later fate has destined them to cross paths in Rio, and as they have the chance to spend time together Summer finally gets the chance to find out why Naseem ended their relationship. This is a well written story which is a great second chance read, with off the chart’s chemistry, forgiveness, and love, which leads to an entertaining page turner. I recommend this authors work for all.

Summer has a list of things to accomplish in a ten year timeframe except getting married. It's what leads her to agreeing to an arranged marriage that she's on her way to. She had her heart broken when she was younger, and honestly, she never got over it so now she doesn't have any use for love if it does actually exist. It's funny how fate likes to stir the pot at the craziest times because Summer comes face to face with the man who destroyed her heart, Naseem. They hadn't seen each other since he wrecked her, and honestly, he's never gotten over her either despite the fact that he did it to them both. Now they're stuck together & while he wants to put the past to rest, Summer isn't having any of him. This story was filled with a lot of angst that tried to do my emotions in as Naseem has some big baggage. And no, I'm certainly not giving him a pass at all, especially since he still may or may not make some mistakes. In order to see how it will all pan out, you know what to do as I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

In this second chance romance, two people reunite under the weirdest of circumstances, but realise that sometimes, life works out serendipitously, instead of according to a rigid plan.

Naseem and Summer last saw each other twelve years ago when they broke up. They meet up in Rio de Janeiro when Summer's flight to meet her fiancé is grounded. They discover what their hearts, as well as their friends, tried to tell them all along: they are still very much in love with each other, despite the pain of the past, and the complications of the present.

I liked the read. The way that the story was crafted had me quickly turning the pages to see how the couple managed to get their HEA. This fast-paced, steamy romance is a good addition to the Cocky Hero Club series, and I recommend it for your reading pleasure.

Summer loved Naseem with her whole heart and she believe that they were planning a future together after high school until he left her heartbroken in the most callous way possible. More than a decade later a chance encounter at the airport forces them to not only spend time together but to face the past as well.

All those years ago Naseem made the only choice that he thought he could for everyone involved. Seeing her again brings up all the emotions that have been laying dormant for so many years, but will she be willing to trade the future she planned for a future with him?

The chemistry and connection between them was stronger than ever as they take us on an emotional journey and try to heal from the past.

Summer and Naseem have a past and when they come face-to-face with each other years later well it's about to be hashed out. Summer hates Nas and wants nothing to do with him. He broke her and now she's getting on with her life. After being stuck on an island and seeing Nas again things are about to spark. Nas has always wanted Summer but he made choices in his life he thought were for the best. Now that he sees her again he will do whatever he can to make sure she understands why he did what he did. Can these two hash out the past and release their demons? Can they fall in love again? Or will they make sure that they are at rest and move on with their lives?

Naseem and Summer's story was such an amazing second chance story. It was beyond what I had expected. They used to be high school sweethearts years ago. Fate brings them back together and there's still chemistry between them. But it wasn't an easy journey for their HEA. So it got a little emotional but I enjoyed every second of it.

An amazing second chance love story.
So that Summer could follow her dreams, Naseem broke things off with her just before a trip they were suppose to take together just after high school. Years later fate puts them together again. However, it's a long road to finding that HEA. They have such a strong love for each other. Like they are soul mates. This one pulled at my heart strings. Their journey was a rocky one but I enjoyed every moment. I loved the support of their family and friends as well. This is a must read

Second chance at love ! They were High school sweethearts then they parted but only for fate then decides to bring them back together after so long and before she does something like marry someone else! There are a lot of emotions and old hurts, it was an enjoyable read.

I love second chance romances and Wicked Wingman is all about forgiveness and never giving up on the one you love. Naseem and Summer were only teens when they first fell in love with each other. The two of them had made plans together but Naseem crushed Summer's heart and left her with an excuse that made no sense.

Twelve years later destiny brought them back together. Summer was getting her life back on track, but seeing Naseem again brought all her feelings for him back to the surface. Naseem is so conflicted with his past, he finds himself stuck. He still loves Summer and he knows he needs for her to forgive him and to explain his actions of twelve years ago. Will their love survive? You need to read their journey to find out what happens.

This is the first book I've read by Sage Spelling. I love a good second chance romance and this book has that. Naseem and Summer, high school sweethearts.............but something happens and Naseem pushes her away and leaves. Years later they see each other again but Summer isn't about to let him back into her life, or is she? The emotions had me turning the pages to see if a second chance happens. Is there too much hurt from the past? Well, you just need to get the book to find out! Beautifully written story!
