One accident was all it took to change my life forever. I lost my brother, my best friend, and my girlfriend. I vowed never to love again. Because everyone I love dies. And then Karen came into my life.
Karen
It was supposed to be one night of fun. I didn’t plan to fall in love with him, yet I did. But no matter how hard I try, he keeps pushing me away. Will I walk away? Or try harder?
Book 5 Cherish left us on a cliffhanger for the next couple in this must read rock band series by Stacy Stone, and what a cliffhanger it was, my heart was in my mouth, the tears flowed and the need to get hold of Mike and Karen's story was a must, and when I did I was not disappointed, Ms. Stone delivered an engrossing enthralling read. Love first takes us back 8 years to when Mike and Karen first met, then 3 years then to the present day, it took a brilliant writer to manager these 3 segments so expertly to ensure we the reader did not lose sight of this couples struggles and all the emotions that play out over the years. As Karen is best friends with Camille (Camille and Jonathan kicked the series off with their duet), it was nice to get some further insights into their relationship as well.
I have to say this story is my fav so far in the series.
The excellent rocker romance Full Moon series is brought to it's conclusion by an angsty, heartbreaking yet uplifting final love story. This time we get to follow Mike and Karen's love story from their point of view mostly told over a time span from 8 years since they first met up to the present day.
The story picks up after the cliffhanger that we were left with in Cherish and fills in a lot of the missing pieces of Mike and Karen's love story. We learn why Mike was so reluctant to start a relationship with Karen even though they have had indisputable chemistry from first meeting 8 years past and how finally admitting to her what happened in his past set them free to love and have their happy ever after.
The job situation for Karen was an interesting twist in the tale but Mike's involvement to keep her safe even if he lost his job through publicising his past proved beyond doubt that he loved her. As always Full Moon have each other's backs and they are there to support Mike when he needs their help.
It was interesting to read the flipside of Camille and Jonathan's story which reinforced the closeness of Camille and Karen's friendship over the years and how they have always been there for each other. I always saw Mike as a distant, standoffish and grump character in the stories he was always good at his job of protecting the band but seemed to be lacking in his own life. Now we know what he was going through and I am was so glad to find him finally finding his own happiness.
This was an exceptional ending to this series that I would highly recommend to any rocker romance fans.
Love by Stacy Stone is the PERFECT ending to the Full Moon series. I got this eARC a bit later than anticipated, so once it finally hit my kindle I moved my reading schedule around and completely devoured it in a day. Reason being? The cliffhanger at the end of Cherish was absolute murder, so I needed to know what happened next. I am so happy to say that Ms. Stone did not disappoint.
Love is the story of Full Moon’s head of security Mike and his love Karen. They’ve known each other for years, and are absolutely meant to be together but mistakes in Mike’s past might end up keeping them apart. I want to emphasize how much I appreciate Ms. Stone’s inclusion of Mike in the Full Moon family, and that she gave his story its own book. To use lead singer Max’s words from the book, “Mike has been responsible for our safety and security for years. He might not sing or play an instrument, but he’s as much a part of the Full Moon family as any of us”.
I don’t want to spoil anything, but readers who have been following the band’s story over the course of the series will be happy to know that there is a happily ever after ending at the end! I was very satisfied with how she ended the book (and the series), as everything felt wrapped up very nicely.
Thank you to the author Stacy Stone and Midnight Readers Book Promotion for allowing me the chance to read the book early! I appreciate the opportunity immensely.
What a book and a fantastic conclusion to this rockstar series. Mick and Karen were on my radar for a story, all the way from the beginning. Their fated love story began right along with Camille and Jonathan's story in Trust. Only Mike was so broken he hurt Karen at every turn. With this book you get their story, it's one that travels throughout the whole series
When Cherish ended I was totally gutted and cried thinking their love story was over and for a long time in this book, I still felt that way. Not only do you have the heartbreak of what Joe does but also more trouble arises for Karen and her family. For me, Mike more than makes up for his past mistakes through this book. This story played with my emotions, I laughed, cried, and fell totally in love with this couple.
This book is a total recommendation from me. It's also a solid 4 star series. I am so glad I took a gamble on this author 6 months ago. To say I'm surprised at how much I liked these books is an understatement. Stacy Stone will definitely be a must-read author for me.
Mike & Karen love story is a long one and it's heart breaking. Mike my heart broke for him because his family & his love ones of the past are cruel. The car accident was a accident and Mike lost people in that crash too, fate can be cruel...no spoilers
Karen she has a giant heart and she has the patience of a saint for Mike. Karen sees through him and she will let him push her away. But she will always be there for him and its up to him to stop running...now that time has come!!
" Every single puzzle piece in my life has been found and slid into place."
The Full Moon band brought them together through their mutual friends and once again Fate of love brought them together. I WAS HAPPY for another reason Mike finally sees he is part of a family, not only did he found his soul mate but a family that love him & cares about him !!
We do get some time jumping in the past. Which made me love them even more and The Full Moon family HOWEVER my heart is still broken for Vincent 💔 {I really wished he got a story, Stacy was cruel he was this fantastic character😭 yes it still hurts me now !}
What an exciting conclusion to an amazing series!! I’ve been patiently waiting for Mike and Karen’s story since their relationship began in Trust and boy, was I not let down one bit. What these two have endured over the past eight years is nothing short of a tragedy with an extreme sense of happiness.
Karen has always portrayed herself as a strong-willed female, not taking no for an answer. When she sets her mind on something, she’ll stop at nothing until she achieves her goal. She’s caring and determined, with a playful personality that latches onto your mind, pulling you along for the ride.
Mike has always been a quiet side character in previous books, never fully expressing himself to anyone. Finally understanding what happened in his past to cause his feelings to become shutoff and distancing himself from others, was an eye opener. But, his determination to protect those around him goes beyond measure.

Stacy turned up the heat with these two!! Maybe because it’s been eight years worth of passion, desire, and intimacy built up but wow!! Their connection was filled with so much fire, sizzling with every touch, igniting from their eyes to their toes. How their chemistry began from their first encounter, never lacking intimacy, even when they were miles apart. So sad to say goodbye to these characters and the emotional journey through the pages of their story.
Love is the perfect ending to the duet and the Full Moon series. I read the first book late and was lucky because I could immediately go into this one and I read this book in less than a day. After the major cliffhanger at the end of Cherish, I could not wait to see what happened. I thought it was going to be a continuous of Lize and Tim's story but we jumped into Karen (Camille's best friend) and Mike's. I also had no idea that we were going to start a time prior to the present day to the time when they met.
This couple went through a lot before they finally got their time together before tragedy struck and they almost didn't get their future. Mike believes that he cannot love anyone because they die, but thankfully his family in Full Moon make him realize that he is part of their family. They love him as a brother.
The ending of this series offers so much love and heartache, its heartwarming to see how love overwhelms the heartache. Mike will do whatever is necessary to keep Karen safe and after the cliffhanger in Cherish, we see him change and come to his senses and humbles himself to Karen to show her just how much he loves her. I loved the fact that they started out has a fling, but while they loved each other years ago they get a second chance ... well maybe its a 3rd or 4th chance. I loved that she also just into the future and we got to see what was going on in their lives. It was beautiful.
Received ARC in exchange for honest voluntary review
I loved Mike and Karen's story in Love. After the cliffhanger of Cherish, Mike deserved his HEA. This book picked up right where Cherish left off. With Mike in the hospital the book goes back in time to tell Mike and Karen's love story from the very beginning. These two are meant to be, they just have a bumpy road trip to get there. I loved the crossover with Camille's story and showing events from Karen's perspective and showing you what was happening behind the scenes for Mike.
Mike's story is one of sadness and tragedy. His reluctance to love and commit is put into context. But so is his deepening love and dependence on Karen. Karen is sparky and determined. I love how sure she is. Mike is her choice and nothing will sway her otherwise. You really have to give her credit for 8 years of patience though.
Love really brings together the whole series and shows you the lives of Full Moon and their families. It is an exciting and heartaching rockstar romance.
After leaving us on a cliffhanger at the end of Cherish, I have been waiting on Love. Thankfully, it picks right up at the scene, but we get some more backstory via flashbacks eight years prior. Mike and Karen have a long story filled with heartache and emotion. But, will it take the current situation for them to open their eyes?
I like how the band Full Moon has always been a family by choice. Mike might not play on stage, but he is family nonetheless. We also have updates on the band family, and the author wraps up the series beautifully.
I am looking forward to where this author takes us next.
Thank you to the author for the advanced copy; this is my voluntary review.
What a fantastic conclusion to the duet and this awesome rockstar series .I have read every single book and since book one I have been 100% invested and completely hooked . So much steam , off the charts Chemistry, a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time ,and characters that are not only relatable , but they have so many different layers to them . Stay is truly one of my very favorite authors and never fails to deliver a phenomenal story . I cannot recommend this entire series highly enough
After the massive cliffhanger, Mike and Karen didn't disappoint and it was sweet going back in memory lane, to not only find out about their story, but also revisiting the gang; even though I found it somehow repetitive at times, perhaps because different POVs about the same story is not necessarily my cup of tea.
Without giving away any spoilers I can say, for me, it was the perfect ending for a beautiful series about friendship, family and true love.
I highly recommend this series to those who believe that true love exists and faith works in mysterious ways.
I was curious about Mike and Karen's story so it was nice to see what really happened. The 1st part of the book went over a lot of what we knew but from their POV's. The rest was more based on Karen's 'stuff' and to be honest she frustrated me at times. After wanting more from Mike, she shut him out on the basis of 'protecting' him which is quite ludicrous. Not my fav of the series but nice to have closure.
Mike and Karen’s story ever since weeet them in Fate I couldn't not wait for there story. They way Stacy Stone wrote this was perfect. We saw the end of Cherish in the beginning then we go back in time a live their love story. I am sad to see the Full Moon family go. But what a good story to end on
This was an amazing ending to an amazing series . Stacy tied up the series so well. I’m glad Mike got a happily ever after . He was the character I was routing for the most !

Love is Book 6 in the Full Moon Series and begins with the events from the previous book, which left Mike fighting for his life. Love is Karen and Mike's story. Karen and Mike's romance is slow-burn expanding over 5 years, starting from a one-night stand that extended into more. The first half of the book tells their story from their first meeting 8 years prior and coincides with events from the first two books in the series. Even if you haven't read the previous books, Love reads as a standalone with plenty of details to fill in the gaps.
After an accident causes Mike to lose people he loves, he refuses to ever fall in love. From the moment Mike meets Karen he does everything to fight their connection. With their interconnected lives they keep finding themselves pulled back together. This results in a push-pull relationship.
Love is an emotional story about unconditional and irrevocable love. It was the perfect end to this series with a HEA for both Mike and Karen and those from the previous books.
WOW. What a powerfulfrigginstart to the book. We're instantly thrown back into the intensity and drama of the cliffhanger that was left. Within one chapter Mike has captured my soul.
----------- The raw emotion within this book is strong, beautiful and heartbreaking. The push and pull tether between Mike and Karen is real and damn we've all been in that situation.
Reflecting on Mike's past made me ugly girl sob. But his strength to overcome is worries and fears left my heart full.
----------- Mike & Karen are drawn together and the steam and passion is off the friggin charts. There are some real swoonworthy moments that will absolutely make you LOVE Mike!
-----------
For me the ending left me speechless and it was absolutely everything we needed after this bands journey. I am so glad i found Stacy Stone's books!
After the cliffhanger at the end of Cherish I was so ready for this book! Mike and Karen have known each other for years, but it takes a tragedy to finally make them both open their eyes to what is in front of them. However, if their love enough to get past an event in Mike’s past?
Stacy has truly finished this series off with a book that offers so much heartache, yet so much love. I love that she included Mike as he may not be up on the stage, he is still very much a part of the band. You see Mike is Full Moon’s security/bodyguard but as the book plays out you realize that he has always been so much more than that to these guys and their families. Karen is such a strong woman. She knows what she wants, but Mike keeps pushing her away. What started out as a fling years ago became the most beautiful second chance romance.
This book was the perfect ending and I love that we get to see where all the band members are. Looking forward to what’s next for Stacy!
This is the 6th and perfect conclusion to this phenomenal series and is more off Mike and Karen’s story. After the cliffhanger in Cherish I could not wait to read more in this epic series. Mike is head of security / bodyguard for the band, and he is as much their family as the others are. Karen is Camille’s best friend, and she and Mike had a fling years before, but their relationship has evolved into more. Mike keeps pushing Karen away because of his past, but fate has destined these two to be together, and he will do whatever he must to protect and keep Karen safe. This is a well written flawless story which is a 2nd chance romance story, with emotions, redemption, family, humor, witty banter, and love, which all leads to an entertaining and heartwarming riveting page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
I have finally finished this entire series of books and I can truly say the stories were well put together. I loved the fact that Stacy Stone didn’t leave Mike and Karen’s love story out of the series. Although he was the security for Full Moon his story was still an important part of this set. The suspense that happens when Karen goes to work for her mom and dad had me on the edge of my seat wondering who was behind the scheme to steal money from their business. I recommend this book and the entire series if you can overlook the fact that it’s obvious none of them were proofread…there are words in the wrong place and occasionally entire sentences that are out of place. If you’re not a stickler about those things, they’re great books.
I've been so ready for Karen and Mike's story from the beginning of this series. I'm so glad we finally got it. I loved it so much. I loved getting the back story of them and seeing his side of falling in love with her, and realizing that Full Moon is his family. What he did to keep her protected made my heart so happy. The baby onesie when they went to meet Camille and Jacksons new baby..I almost cried. What a perfect way for him to ask her!!
I always knew that they would be good parents one day 💜 I love Karen and Mike. They will hold a special place in my heart forever.
Loved this book about Mike and Karen even though I did skip a lit of the beginning because it was repeats from other books. Still it was good and I loved the series as a whole!
Mike was always a mystery - why did he keep pushing Karen away. Now we know! And when he opens up to her ❤️ Karen is confident, independent and strong. She goes after what she wants, but there’s only so much rejection she can take.
These two together are force to be reckoned with! They chemistry and connection is so strong.
Loved all the drama, the angst and that ending! perfect 😍
