It started with an insane mission to a supernatural supermax prison. And when Nikos couldn't summon a phoenix into this world there, he escaped and did it in the middle of the city. Now there's a phoenix loose on D.C., this new magic is burning me from the inside out, and if we--Kipp and me, the SBI, someone--doesn't do something the entire city might be leveled to the ground.
Unfortunately, Nikos and the phoenix aren't our only enemies...

What an ending! ❤️🔥 After I finished the second book, I HAD to jump into this one. HAD to know what happened with this fantastic storyline.
Alexis and Kip are in my faves for couples. If you need a nice action packed low Fantasy with a slow burn romance, and also a quick and entertaining read, then pick up this series.
I want more of this world will be picking up the books about Vera soon I am quite sure! (iykyk) For not must get back to my regularly scheduled tbr...lol
I almost didn’t finish the series. The inconsistencies in some of the time lines. The constant, why,why did you do that! Was frustrating and almost stopped me reading. I forged on however and by the end of the book I was enjoying it. I enjoyed Alexis and the friendships/alliances she forged. The ending was emotional and I felt pulled into that emotion which honestly would have put this book at 4 stars but I just couldn’t get over some of the other things in the series that bothered me. Overall after this book I might give this author another try whereas if you’d ask me that after book 2 I would have said no
Risen Phoenix, the third book of the Guardian Witch Chronicles series, is an ebook I borrowed through Kindle Unlimited (KU). Excellent conclusion to this action-packed series. I wish I'd read whatever series this is a crossover from, as there are plenty of references to Boston. Maybe I'll check around for it anyway.
