This psychological connection develops over the course of the days, weeks, months, or even years of captivity or abuse.~You realized that your friends' life was in your hands now, and all decisions will be crucial to the path of him dying or living.
"Don't hurt him... Please... W-What do you want me to do?" You choked out, the hand on your chin, moving away only to rest on the metal door behind you, his fingertips tapping on it, like a foreign lullaby.

Best ending
Sure the book could have done with spell check and a good editor. But it was rough and dirty in all the good ways with a phenomenal ending. Power through the errors and it won't disappoint.

It was different. I guess it was supposed to have a twist at the end but it wasn’t too surprising. The grammar errors were a pain and I’m not one to complain about that normally. I like that the author kept to a true anti-hero or villain and didn’t soften him but I found myself bored at times and wanted it to be done.
