“Proving himself as Father’s equal was only part of the reason;” (Quote of Holy Union AJ Ryder)

Filia’s story of trying to escape her father’s (Lucifer) grasps continues in this book and the tension picks up. There are a lot more chapters that tell us about why Lucifer and Lucilith are the way they are. I especially liked Lucilith’s backstory and how her chapters showed the hatred that she felt towards Filia.

Ubriel is more important in this book than any other of the angels and I really liked how it focused one just one of them instead of all.

I still thought that it was a bit too fast paced for my liking and there were a few too many plot-twist.
The third person style was good but I wish I had seen a bit more of Bedeyal.

'Holy Union' is the second book in A. J. Ryder's "Lightbringer" Trilogy and picks up where book one, 'Sacred Embrace' left off. Just a heads up, these are not standalone and should be read in order as the author intended. Filia and her angels continue down the path to find redemption as all chaos breaks loose from Lucilith. If you've heard or read even a small bit about the fight between good and evil then you know there are tests to show the true mettle of a person and these heroes are definitely put to the test. What an outstanding read!! I can't wait for the next one.

Oh this gave me all the feels! I love the loyalty and passion these characters share. I really enjoyed meeting the new characters that would become allies and friends with Filia and her guardians. I will now wait patiently for book 3 and I’m so excited!

This story has really grown on me. Holy Union continues the story of Filia and her angels. While all four angels are discussed, I found the focus to be on developing Ubriel's character more. There was a lot of action and suspense in this story with RH scenes that were steamy. I cannot wait to see how this trilogy will conclude and see more of Bedeys character.

Book two of the magnificent lightbringer trilogy. It was heartbreaking and heartwarming to read this book. It had its hilarious moments and it’s got sexy angel protectors what more can a girl want. This book was entertaining and enjoyable book to read i defin recommend this book if your into angels, young adult paranormal harem books.

The book starts off with Filia, Mikaeyel, Rakiyel, Gylbriel and Ubriel in the 1800s in a past lifetime memory, she saves the son of a witch Wenona Woodward and her husband Wilgwaas whose son was drowning and being possessed by a demon. Wenona swears her descendants will help Filia anytime she needs help. Before coming back to the present time two weeks have passed since the events of the previous book and Filia and Mikaeyel, Rakiyel, Gylbriel, Ubriel are trying to help Filia continue her good deeds despite being hunted by her sister Lucilith who has killed her demons because they wanted to kill Filia because they felt abandoned by her and not for Lucilith. They’re still determined to rescue Bedeyal from hell and Lucifer and reunite their family and thanks to Wenonas witch descendants Athena and Minerva and their mates Theodrik dragon, Samaiyel Fae, witch Miriam to help get Bedeyal back. Ubriel and Filia finally admit their feelings and make love as he takes the vow Mikaeyel, Rakiyel and Bedeyal made centuries ago and becomes her lover, Gylbriel’s love for Filia is made clear in the book a vast difference to his first initial hostile attitude with her when they first met, but he hasn’t admitted his feelings out loud to the others yet. Azayelle tricks Lucilith into showing her true feelings about her sister Filia in front of Lucifer when she stabs Filia trying to kill her Lucifer kills Lucilith in revenge the distraction allows Filia and her angels to escape including a severally wounded Bedeyal whose delved so deeply into his mind that only Filia will be able to reach him hopefully. I can’t wait to read the next book Blessed release the final instalment to the lightbringer trilogy.

Good vs Evil which side will win and come out on top? This book picks up where book one left us hanging and we are still on this epic ride with Filia and her angels. Each searching for their own redemption can they find it, or will they be doomed? Chaos ensues and the battle wages on as those that look to stop them continue to hunt them down and destroy them. Which side will prevail, and can they ever find the things they are searching for? This series continues to keep the readers on the edge of their seats waiting to see what will happen next for them. I can't wait to see what the last book has in store for us.

I was looking forward to reading book 2 of this series and let me say that I wasn’t disappointed at all. Filia and her guys (angels) are now finally settled in a new town the demons that her father sent to find her are everywhere all Filia wants to do are her good deeds but now Lucilith has found them and there’s only going to be trouble for all of them. I loved this story it’s action packed with plenty of danger and passion and I highly recommend this book it’s well worth the read.

Nooooo, i hated this book, ok I’m lying I loved the whole thing but it ended and I wasn’t ready for it to be over. I absolutely could not put this book down.

The characters wrap themselves around your heart and do not let go. The pacing was intense, every time I thought this was good time to put the book down something happened and suddenly another chapter was gone.

The wait for the next one will be tough but I know that AJ Ryder will make it fantastic.

Fillia's story continues in Holy Union book two in the Lightbringer Trilogy and it picks up where book one left off. There's a lot going on in this book as we learn more about Lucifer and Lucilith and why Lucilith feels the way she does about her sister. This is a fast paced story with intriguing characters and a storyline filled with action, danger, suspense, steam, and an ending that left me so ready for the final book in the trilogy. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

"Holy Union" is the second book in A.J. Ryder's Lightbringer Trilogy. The book continues the story of Filia and her protectors. This is a paranormal reverse harem with a good storyline, great world-building, and characters who have great chemistry.
