Hi there. I'm Jon Thomas Skye, better known to my friends as J. T.

I love to write stories of heroic quests, ancient prophecies and mythical journeys along roads less traveled. They include grand, military space battles, secret alliances, desperate treachery, vengeance and retribution against the arrogance, elitism and glory hunting found at the highest levels of society.

From pirates, slavers, saboteurs and assassins to elite Warriors, trader families, cargo haulers and the many desperate refugees just trying to escape conscription.

I've loved to read and write science fiction, fantasy and action adventure stories my whole life and am passionate about mainstream Sci Fi, Space Opera, Military Sci Fi, and mythical Fantasy.

This was the best book of the Trilogy. Afternoon 2 had just been so-so forme, I was hoping for a great finish, so I am glad I stuck with it. Throughout the series, there was one thing that really bugged me. The author repeats themselves frquently, which I felt was distracting and annoying.

That said, the book had great characters. Bill had so much personal growth and was, of course, a favorite. But Nathan was an absolute favorite. He was so likable, from his introduction and throughout the book. He is selfless and a true hero. Loved that kid!

The world building starts a bit slow but does develop, and what we see about the Brinlo is the similarity to us in their arrogance. They consider humans to be animals without thoughts or feelings. We do that, too. So there is definitely a lesson here. Overall, this book and the trilogy are good reading.

Book 3

Oh Bill...a hero. Book ended like I expected. Story shows so much about our world WITHOUT alien invaders. Sad to see it end, but humanity went thru a lot to see it thru to the end. Sure, a book of fiction but you know what? I like science fiction because the real world is scary. Well done. Definitely recommend and will follow this author.

Great

I usually like to read apocalypse novels. This series was a bit different incorporating aliens with apocalyptic fiction. I especially enjoyed how the main character evolved from a lazy bigot to an enlightened decent human being. This series is an exceptional read. Thank you JT Skye

Excellent story

Bill was the epitome of a bigot. If he was to survive an alien invasion , he better change his way of thinking. When he did, he learned things weren't as he once thought. And found that there were good humans and bad. But not only that. There were good aliens along with the bad. Could this end well?

Great

Well, just finished with no. 3. I do wish she would write more of this story. I became invested in their survival and what would happen next. There were lots of miss spellings and etc. but it was still a very good series.

Decent story, though I hated the ending. Guess it completed the cycle, but still, thought it was crappy nonetheless. Good to see the slavers get their butts kicked though. Anyway, glad I read the series, but now I'm off to read something more cheerful.

Great series

Very engaging , fast paced post apocalyptic adventure. Characters are relatable, ordinary people in extraordinary circumstances. Adeptly addresses the question, “what if the aliens won?”
