Can I say dreamboat in this century? because that's the only word that comes to mind when I think of Sawyer.
Sawyer came to Billie's rescue in a crowded restaurant. Her cheating husband was there with his new 10 years younger shiny toy and Sawyer stepped in and pretended to be her new, also younger model.
Months later he then spotted her in a crowded bar while he was up on stage with his guitar and sang to her.
Sawyer was just dreamy, with his words and persistent in his chase of Billue, following there second fate meeting despite Billie having huge hangups about her being an older single mum and let me tell you, I wanted to shake her myself more than once.
Thank goodness for her best friend who talked some sense into her and also for Sawyers persistence and patience because I was running out of it with her for keep turning down this gorgeous younger man who wanted her.
I loved this story, a story about love with no age barrier, restoration of confidence after a knockdown and a story of life's second chances. I could not turn the pages fast enough. The balance within the story containing drama, angst, and hotness was perfect and I did not for one moment get bored or antsy with the plot.
A definite recommended older woman younger man romance with twists and turns along the way.
I've given this review 4.5 stars because, honestly, I felt I reached my happy with their story and I'm a little scared now for more. I'm quite sure there will be angst, drama and issues with the exes as well as family matters following their happy for now ending and I don't think we know all there is to know about Sawyer either yet, so although I'm scared for what is to come that something may happen to burst the happy bubble I have now, I will definitely be in the Que anticipating the release of the next book.
This is a duet, told in Sawyers pov.

Loved this new to me author. Relatable, endearing characters, with a wealth of issues to traverse. Who doesn’t love a younger man, especially when they’re as charming as Sawyer. Can’t wait for part deux ❤️

This book is soo much more than the synopsis. Billie & Sawyer's first meeting is the fantasy of heartbroken women everywhere. I wish something similar had happened to me, but I digress.
A book that begins with the older woman, younger man story that sucks you in. A woman who is gun shy and unsure, the 11 year younger gorgeous almost perfect Sawyer who has enough confidence for both of them, the ex-husband (who deserves a swift kick) Sawyer's band drama and then the real fun starts when Billie meets Sawyer's family. I can't wait for more drama filled fun in Part 2.

This is book one in the Wild Romance Saga. This was an absolutely brilliant read. I haven’t read too many older women and younger men so this was a delight to read.
Billie is a lovely relatable character. Her family is everything to her until her husband cheats on her. When Sawyer enters her life… well you gotta read it to find out.
I was mesmerised again but this authors words and can’t wait to read more.

When Billie got married she thought it was forever but she found out it was just until her husband found someone younger who could attract his attention. She is still reeling from the betrayal and the feelings of not being enough when she happens to end up in the same place where her ex is with the new woman in her life. Wanting to crawl under the table and hide instead fate steps in and a sexy younger man ends up sitting at her table and showing her husband that she has moved on.
A year later fate brings them together once again and the chemistry and connection between them is stronger than ever. This time one casual encounter is not enough but it remains to be seen if they will they be overcome not only their pasts but the fact that they are at very different places in their lives.
I really enjoyed both these characters as Billie gains back the confidence in herself that her ex crushed while Sawyer shows her that she is perfect just the way she is and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this couple.
A year later fate brings them together once again and the chemistry and connection between them is stronger than ever. I absolutely loved this tale of a young man and older woman ! Sawyer and Billie meet by chance but the immediate attraction is overwhelming . Billie is just coming off a break up that left her feeling less than desirable and so broken. Having your husband leave you for a younger woman can wreak havoc on your self worth. They have such a connection! Watching them discover themselves and then how to trust again was so beautiful . They both have so much hurt in their pasts that leaning to move forward with one another may be difficult. Their past soon comes forward and now wants them to reconsider the mistakes that were made. SO lets see if this couple can quickly move past the cheating lovers, crazy families and the struggles of real life .

This is my first time reading anything from this author, and I really enjoyed this book, this book was well developed, the characters have great chemistry, and I was engaged the entire book.
This is the first book in the Dare Duet, and the story of Billie, and Sawyer. They meet when Sawyer comes to Billie's aid, when she ends up in the same restaurant as her ex, and his new toy. When their paths meet again, some months later, Sawyer isn't going to let the opportunity to be with Billie pass him by. This was an emotional read, the characters are well written, and their story kept me intrigued. This was raw, gripping, passionate, steamy, dramatic, and intense. Can't wait to continue in book two.

I really enjoyed this one. I was kinda dreading the cliffy seeing as it was a duet but I was surprised because there was not the massive cliff hanger that I expected. It kinda ended in a place where you knew there was more to come but where it ended was perfect and knowing the next instalment is not too far away made it a lot better too. I loved Sawyer Wild and he will be a new book boyfriend for lots of people. Billie was portrayed well as an older woman too and I for one can't wait to see what happens with these two next. Bring on the second book!

Another fantastic read from KL Shandwick. Dare You had me totally enthralled. Its a wonderfully written age gap story about people with real issues in life.
Billie has recently separated from her cheating husband and is focused on making a great life for herself and her son Colby. When she meets Sawyer in a wine bar she's a little apprehensive at first as he's younger than her but soon fate steps in.
A great story and I cannot wait to read the concluding part to this duet.

Once again KL Shandwick has written a beautiful story with real characters and a hero I’d do just about anything to meet 😜 I love that Billie and Sawyer are real people with real issues and the road to romance is not just a glittering fairytale, it made me get even more involved with the characters and the story and I can’t WAIT to read the second part of this wonderful duet. 💗

Oh my, I love Billie and Sawyer's story. Logan is such a hypocrite, and I thoroughly enjoy how Sawyer treats him. Billie is growing so much because of Sawyer, and it shows in how she deals with Logan. The emotions and situations in this book kept my rapt attention to the end.

This is an enjoyable age gap romance and what a refreshing change for the woman to fall for the younger man. Billie is stung by the betrayal of her husband and as she is discovering this new her and a new chapter of her life fate throws sexy younger Sawyer in her path. Thank you fate 😉 The attraction between them is extra spicy and hot, I just loved how Sawyer saw Billie and built her confidence up. The fun and drama begins when others start to have an impact on the relationship. Looking forward to more from this couple.

Oh my oh my!!!!! Billie and Sawyer completely blew me away!!!!! The chemistry between these two are of the charts and you get hooked into there story from the get go!!!! I seriously loved each chapter in this book and I couldn't put it down cause I needed to know what's going to happen next!!!! I can't wait to read Dare Me the second book in this Duet cause I need more of their story!!!!

This is an older woman, younger man story about Billie and Sawyer, they meet in a bar with her ex husband present, you will just love this amazing rollercoaster ride, all the emotions are so bare, you will feel them all and find yourself immersed in a sea of emotions, betrayal, second chance, chemistry that can't be denied. KL Shandwick is a master at writing characters with many layers, real emotion and real life situations and Dare You is no different.

Such a wonderful May-December story
Just like most women, we feel more awkward and conscious of age gaps. Probably because our instinct and view is more of what society dictated or imbeded in us. Some culture is the same you give high importance and you are in a subtle way told that older women with younger men is a TABOO or its shameful. Craddle snatching, cougar etc etc etc while men flaunts it as if its nothing lol. Oddly more judgmental towards women than men. Why is it?! I like the flow of this story not harsh and very objective in its view. Intimacy and sexual innuendos in good taste justified still HOT! I can imagine how lovely of a man Sawyer is and how beautiful Billie is inside and out. Can't wait to read the second installment! Love this! Thank K.L.

If there is one thing I can rely on from a story by KL Shandwick ... a love that will pull on all of my heartstrings. DARE YOU, book one in the Unchained Attraction series, did exactly that. Told entirely from the heroine's POV, this story captivated and entranced me. It had me laughing, sighing, close to tears, and going through various stages of anger. An age-gap romance with an older woman and a younger man, it is a story of trust, understanding and love, one that shows love has no boundaries.
Since her cheating husband walked out on her Billie Collier, a woman in her early forties, is now concentrating on making a better life for bother herself and her young son Colby. A day Christmas shopping and a sudden downpour of rain sees her escaping into a bar for relief. Unfortunately, her cheating ex and his new younger woman are also there. Sawyer Wild, a man in his late twenties, has also been caught in the same downpour and escapes to the same bar. Taking the only empty seat, that's next to Billie, they chat. Sawyer causes a reaction in Billie that she has never felt ... then he does something completely unexpected.
A year passes and Billie and Sawyer meet once again. This time Sawyer is determined not to let her get away. Dare you : dare duet part one was amazing book loved it so much had me hooked from the start couldn't put it down cant wait to read the next book when it comes out highly recommend this book any of kl Shandwick books always leaving you wanting more

I enjoyed reading this book. This author always writes stories that address real life issues and this book is no different. I could totally understand Billie’s struggles and concerns with regards to having a relationship with another man after her previous experiences. Add that there is a mutual attraction between herself and a guy like Sawyer and yes, I’d be seeking a lot of reassurances and have worries about what the future may bring too.
Now where can I find myself a Sawyer? What a guy he is. Not only does he have great looks, is talented and has a fabulous personality, he is also such a thoughtful and caring person who puts others before himself no matter what the situation. Yes, there are times that I wished he had handled certain situations differently but I guess he is only human and nobody is perfect. He is very close to perfection though 😉
Billie is a fabulous person and I envisage in real life we could be great friends. She has a mature head on her shoulders, she is considerate and she’s not afraid to say what she thinks. However, she has a lot of insecurities and you can’t just change the feelings you have towards yourself overnight. I hated that she felt this way but I understood, and I hoped that she could overcome these issues and allow herself to enter into a relationship with Sawyer and just let things happen.
There are a lot of obstacles that Sawyer and Billie have to conquer before they can even contemplate having a HEA together and I don’t think they can put all the drama that they experience in this first book behind them just yet. I particularly loved the story when Sawyer takes Billie to meet his family as I was never certain of what was going to happen. I loved that this story made me think about the realities of a relationship with an age difference and also how much previous experiences can alter the way a person thinks, feels and acts. I’m excited for the second book in this duet which continues the story where this finishes but will be written in Sawyer’s POV (this book was all Billie’s), to see what happens next.

Wonderful heartwarming story with a healthy dose of angst and drama, featuring the most gorgeously perfect man and a beautiful older woman with heartwrenching self confidence issues. I loved both these characters!
Billie has been badly betrayed by her husband and is lost and lonely. She has so many insecurities about herself, how could she honestly believe a sexy, hot younger man could be interested in her?
Oh Billie, my heart ached at times for her. Her thoughts, feelings and emotions were very realistically portrayed, I can imagine having exactly the same doubts and fears if I were in her position. Sawyer is one hell of a gorgeous, kind, generous, patient soul who sees Billie as a beautiful woman he has a connection with and refuses to let her doubt not only him but especially herself. There wasn't one thing I could fault about this beautiful man.
With self-centred exes, cruel bandmates and family dramas, their budding relationship is tested to the core. Can Sawyer crumble the barriers around Billie's heart? Especially when she learns Sawyer is not all that different.

I fell in love with this book..... loved everything about it!! “Chasing Love Billie” is book one of the Wild Romance Saga by Kelly Shandwick, who, by the way, is quickly becoming one of my favourite Authors!! I never like to give anything away in books because I feel it takes away from the organic experience of slipping between the pages and getting to know the characters as the story unfolds. Billie is a powerful lead character and Sawyer.... well Sawyer is this tall, younger and not to mention sexy hot who takes Billie’s breath away in more ways than one! I found as I read this book I tapped into the emotional aspects, which were written so well that you felt them. Let’s just say this is a ride you’re going to want to take.... oh and the chemistry and fire between Billie and Sawyer....... wowza! I am so looking forward to reading the next book! ~ Angie❤️

A cast of characters that you fall for immediately, and a story that leaves you invested from the beginning.

It's so refreshing to read a rockstar romance where the couple aren't both young and naive.
In this Billie is an older woman, in the middle of a divorce, trying her best for her young son when she unexpectedly meets Sawyer.
Sawyer, although younger than Billie, is quite mature for his age and knows what he wants when he sees Billie. He has also been badly hurt in the past and, due to this, is a bit insecure......
What follows is a really well written story of finding love, working slowly to figure things out, and more importantly, realising that there's usually two sides to every story.
I now can't wait to read Sawyer's side if the story in book 2!!

Blooming brilliant. I'm loving the relationship struggles between the older woman, Billie, and the younger man, Sawyer. The writing and the apprehension that Billie feels is very realistic. This is a great story of a budding relationship between two individuals with a past. The supporting characters are well written and I'm looking forward to getting to know them more in subsequent books. Great start to what promises to be a fantastic series.

What is there to say about Billie and Sawyer that hasn’t already been mentioned. I loved the chemistry between the two of them and how Sawyer can settle Billies insecurities make her feel like the most important person in his life. Definitely diving straight in to the next book in this duet.

I absolutely loved the first part of Billie and Sawyers story. The young rock star falling for the older woman with so many hang ups and a nasty ex. Sawyer was so patient as he tried to prove his feelings to Billie

Oh my, I love Billie and Sawyer's story. Logan is such a hypocrite, and I thoroughly enjoy how Sawyer treats him. Billie is growing so much because of Sawyer, and it shows in how she deals with Logan. The emotions and situations in this book kept my rapt attention to the end.
