Estrellado has written a book that makes using instructional data accessible to people who don’t like to think about data or think data is just something done to them. Reasons why I recommend this book to instructional teams as a book and best practices study:
1. It’s short. If your team is not happy about data dialogues, short books are more likely to engage them.
2. It helps them frame good instructional data questions.
3. It honors qualitative data, as well as quantitative data.
4. It gives practical steps anyone can do to know their impact on learning.
