In this dark fantasy isekai story, revenge is a dish best served over and over.
Echizen is a game designer who is ground under the boot of a high-pressure corporate job. They don’t respect him enough to let him do what he’s best building brutal puzzles and traps for players. But after he’s sucked into another world, his overlooked skills will come in handy! Stranded in a hellish dungeon and threatened by marauding heroes, Echizen finds himself siding with Sophilia, an alluring demon princess. Using the world’s magic, he puts his game developer talent to use in her defense in this sadistic tale of brutal comeuppance!
This is a really thick manga! Plenty of bang for your buck.
A guy is ridiculed at work because he designs traps in video games that are so hard, everyone just complains about them instead of enjoying the games. His coworkers talk trash about him and his boss threatens to ruin his career so he'll never work in the gaming industry again. Then he's transported to a world where humans are scum, and he's been summoned to set traps for heroes to save the races of demons and otherworldly creatures.
I liked the twist, that the main character is working for the "bad guys," even though he himself is human. He's been sent to protect the demon princess from humans who enjoy killing, enslaving, and even raping demons. There's a lot of violence in this manga, some of it sexual. There's also graphic butchering of demon children. Humans are trying to wipe the demons out completely. So it's understandable that the hero and the demon princess don't see eye to eye immediately. She's mistrustful, and he frankly doesn't care; all he wants is to enjoy his newfound ability to create traps out of thin air. The caveat is that his magic can't exist without her, so they physically have to be near each other for him to have any power at all.
I like the story and the setting, and I like the characters, especially the princess's minions. I'll definitely be continuing this isekai.
"Strange and oddly sexual" as my good Judy Mike Stoklasa would say.
Basically there's this guy that works in the video game industry and he gets summoned to this other world where he needs to protect the daughter of the demon king, and his video game knowledge helps him do that. He uses magic granted to him by this princess to make traps that kill the "heroes" that are actually just a bu ch of prices that think that everyone needs to live how they want them to. Especially given the news from the past few days, it is satisfying to see the self righteous pricks get offed violently.

I really enjoyed this. This is definitely adult content. It is a dark fantasy where heroes are trying to wipe out all the monsters when, in reality, it is the heroes who are the true monsters of the story.
This is an erotica, dark fantasy in my opinion . The characters were likable & all had there own unique personalities. The world was creepy but not as dark or eerie as I would have hoped for something labeled horror . Villains need to be a bit more fleshed out sk far in the first volume they are very one dimensional. What is this about well basically Demons fighting against humans but in this world the humans are called the heroes even dough they kind of act more like the bad guys & the bad guys are like animals beeing hunted down why u ask ? Well they refuse to live in harmony with the humans & under the humans laws which are different from demons & monsters laws . I gave this first volume a 4.5/5 Great characters , good story with amazing art & just enough erotica to give you you're fix but not be the center of the story
As the artist/writer says at the end, it’s a Dark Fantasy. He ain’t kidding! Dark, creepy, gory with some nasty sexual scenes. I’m trying to root for the protagonist, but revenge themed stories don’t do it for me. What this has going for it is the lead female and the fantastic artwork. I want to give it another go with volume 2 and take it from there if it’s worth continuing.
